Disable SAVE-AS functionality in Adobe Form

There is a requirement from the client that we need to disable to SAVE-AS functionality.
Is there any way in which we can achieve this?

I'm the person who did the WD as well, using IFrame to contain the PDF binary. WD site didn't contro the binary source.
I pre-define the 'FP_JOB_OPEN' before calling the PDF generation.

Save as Functionality in Adobe Reader

Hello All,
I have developed a form in LiveCycle ES -2 . There is a functionality in the form : After filling all the required fields if the user tries to submit before saving the form then it will prompt the user to save the form in a different file name.This works fine in Acrobat 9 Pro. But when I open the form in Adobe Reader and try to do the same operation the form gets saved, But it's blank form.How to get over it with ?

Please be aware of licensing restrictions when enabling form from Acrobat, my understanding is that
you can only send a reader enabled form to 500 unique users to respond to that form as many times as they wish
or post out to an infinite number of users and you are only allowed to receive 500 responses. See the Acrobat Pro EULA.

second applicant(SBPID)--Read only second applicant name(SNAME)-Calculated read only
I have created Action on second applicant ID (SBPID) ---If SBPID is not empty disable SNAME(for user entry)
I have created Action on second applicant name (SNAME) ---If SBPID is empty enable SNAME(for user entry)
SBPID and TBPID i am displaying from my webdynpro view.
I am unable to achieve this functionality.Any helpful inputs will be appreciated.

This object is not available anymore in Designer 7.1. This setting can now be achieved through a web dynpro (Java) API (interface <a href="https://media.sdn.sap.com/javadocs/NW04s/SPS7/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/adobe/pdfdocument/api/IWDPDFDocumentAppearance.html">IWDPDFDocumentAppearance</a>). In web dynpro ABAP you would need to use the method handler of the <b>InteractiveForm</b> UI element (IF_WD_IACTIVE_FORM_METHOD_HNDL, SET_HIDE_TOOLBARS).

Disable "Save a copy" in Adobe Reader

Can anyone suggest me of disabling the "Save a copy" menu item...

I have a scenario where a Adobe Reader PDF file consists of a blank page with a signature...
Now few users in a group must have the privilege of "Save a copy" option and few others in the same group must not have the privilege to do so.
Is there any approach to achieve this , if not with disabling "Save a copy" button.....

Disable Save As Prompt in Adobe Reader XI

Hi, we upgraded our Adobe Reader 9 Installations to Adobe Reader XI. Now in multiple pdf-documents we are getting a save as dialog by exiting the PDF. We never made changes to this documents.
The PDF-Documents having this problems are generated with a Visual Basic Application. The PDFs are published with PDF Standard 1.1
If we overwrite the Version 1.1 PDF it will be converted to Version 1.6. After that the Warning-Message disappears.
Is it possible to disable this message without editing our Visual Basic Application? Thank you for your help.

Your application is probably making PDF files which are slightly incorrect. When this is detected, Adobe Reader attempts to repair the file. If this is successful, there will be a prompt to save on exit. Adobe Reader could not save files in earlier releases, so the effect of incorrect files was not discovered.

How to set a fixed path while clicking the save button in sap adobe form

I would like to save a form to the same location but there seems to be no way to set a default folder. Its popup save as dialog box asking when i was save the first time.

We cannot set the default location in Adobe PDF. Refer below the link confirming that this is a limitation.

"Save As" Function causes Adobe to Crash

I am using Adobe Acrobat X Standard. I am able to open adobe documents using Acrobat X. I am able to create and edit forms as well as save changes to an existing PDF. However, if I choose to "Save As PDF", Adobe crashes with this error:
I have performed updates and repairs, but nothing has fixed this yet. Any help?

SAP and standard email function in Adobe form

In SAP, we're using lifecycle designer 9, We're using standard email function (with a big pushbutton in our form). Ours issues are :
- we're not abble to change dynamically the mail object and body.
- we're not abble to add some secondary receivers in the mail.

How to have multi select dropdowns for web request and adobe forms

Hi All,
I am working on interactive forms for CRM 7.0 using web request and ZCI layout.
When I say web request we define the fields required for the form in CRM that becomes the context for WDA and passed onto Adobe form.
This web request is a flat structure which mean if I have a node and attributes with in that you cant have multiple values to wards this node as in WDA.
Now My query:
I have a field called "xyz" since web request is a flat structure i just defined it as a string.
In WDA I made it a enumrated field and added key value pairs to it.
In Adobe form I binded this field to a WD native enum dropdown list every thing is fine untill here.
Now in the form I need this as a multiple select, so i changed the dropdown field to list box it works.
The form has to be submitted as a draft version when did so, it will not execute any APIs but saves the data to the web request.
When the same form is opened for the next time, with the data in web request it should reopen this field with the multiple seleced values high lighted.
since the field xyz is a single filed of string, how can i maintain multiple values in that...?
if there is a form status auto save function in Adobe form this might solve a bit but not sure when the form is opened 2nd time from web reqest view does it consider it as a new one or open the same form...?
I have such dropdown fields and problems including ones with depenedt values on one another.
I tried my best to explain the problem, if somebody can help me with this its much appriciated.
Note: Since this is dependent on CRM web request I am posting the same query in that block also apologies if this mean a duplicacy.

I got the solution and problem is solved.
Iterating & processing a enumrated dropdown is like any other dropdown /list box in adobe forms.

WDA & offline Adobe form solution required

Hi Experts,
I have to develop an application in WDA which integrates already created (in SFP) interactive adobe form with standard layout.
WDA application is showing 3 tables on 3 different tabs of a view. On each table there is a column with which is to open/save/download the interactive adobe form.
I have developmend the WDA application and now want to integrate the interactive adobe form with it.
Can anyone please tell me the solution for this so that on click of a table column (text on each row) it will either open that adobe form or it will download it to local PC so that it can be filled by the user and submit it later on.
It will be good if someone can tell me in detail like in which view/window i have to put the intercative form UI element & what to be coded.

The interactive form is of standard type & when i pass the form name in templatesource it will automatically create a context node with the form interface.
If i will get data in XSTING Type attribute how i will bind it to the form context which has form parent nodes, its child nodes & other attributes?
Also please tell In which view I will put my interactive adobe form?. The problem is where ever i put my adobe form it opens as and when that view opens up as a PDF. If i check it as interactive enable, the web page goes to and endless loop.

Forms can be signed by the user or the system. Forms can be signed by the system, Is there any way we can store our users signs in the system and retrive it to the ADOBE form.
You need a signature field to be able to sign the form (by user or machine).: By the machine
You need to configure things on ADS (webservice which will sign the form for you). : How should i configure , May i have any document related to this
You need to distribute the signatures to the users. : Please provide me the process
