Disabling an table in a screen

hi,
i am working in webdynpros where i have a scenario like this.
i have only one view and in that view i have taken three transparent contaienrs and each transparetn container has a table and other transparetn contaienr has some input fiields and text view fields.Now my question is when i am testing my aplkcation for the first time i do not want all the fields to be displayed first on the screen though there are on the same view.I just want only one transparent container to be seen and then when i click on continue i shoulld see the next transparent container and after that when i fill the needed fields then continue i need to see the third container.Can you please tell me how to work with the visibility of the fields and also the containers..

proceed like this :
1 create two attributes of type WDUI_VISBILITY under the context node , say attr2 , and attr2 .
2 bind these with visible property of ur tansparent containers TC2 and TC3 .
3 u have to set the attribute to 01 to make ur UI invisible and vice versa 02 to make UI visible.
4 u have to initially make invisible ur tc2 and tc3
to set the attributes to 01 , press CNTRL + F7 , select the tab read context node/attribute , select the corresponding attribute
read it and set it to 01 , using set_attribute method
*   set single attribute
    lo_el_cn_gddb->set_attribute(
      EXPORTING
        name = `CA_GDDB`
        value = ' 01' ).
u can alternatively do it like this
wd_context->set_attribute( name = '<attribute name>' value = if_wdl_core=>visibility_visible )." to make it visible.
wd_context->set_attribute( name = '<attribute name>' value = if_wdl_core=>visibility_none ). "to make it invisible
5 In the onaction method of ur CONTINUE button , make tc2 visible by setting the attr2 to '02'
6 *similrly proceed for transparent container 3 , u can use the attribute WDY_BOOLEAN wid ur input field .using get_attribute method , check if all fields r filled , and make ur tc3 visible*

Isn't that just exactly what transaction CO02 does? CO01 is for creating production orders so what sense does it make to have it display mode only?
Maybe your goal is to stop then end user changing the component assignment that is automatically detected by the system. If so, personally I think a better starting point would be PP configuration or user authorizations rather than looking to change the screen by whatever method. As we don't know what you are trying to achieve it's hard to offer much more advice maybe all you need is to change transaction to CO02

How to disable perticluar cell of the table on the screen,at run time?

I am using table control on the screen.
I have 5 field in the table control.
out of which one is posnr.
Now, if user doesnt enters the value of posnr then it should be created automatically.
I have written the code for that ,but this perticlar cell (for which posnr is generated automatically ) should be disabled now.
Can anybody tell me how can i do it?

Write a module inside the loop...endloop in the PBO of your screen. Inside the module, check the field and disable it by modifying the SCREEN table.
loop at itab with control tctrl.

     screen-input = 0.

How to capture a selected row in a table control in screen

Hello,
    I have a table in a screen and hv data in it also from a table.Now i want if a user selects a row n clicks a display button , i should display the same fields in empty text fields created outside the table on the same screen.
Rite now i m lookin for single selection but any help on multiple selection is also welcomed.
I have given a line-selection element name as 'LSELECT1' to the table in screen painter n have declared a variable also with the same name of type C(1) in my abap prog.But dont know wat to write in PAI now to caputure the selected row.

Use ALV to display your table records from FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.
In your internal table add a field with char1. This will show you the selected records by 'X' or ' '. Use this field in your layout like g_layout-box_fieldname = 'CHK'.
Here i used CHK TYPE CHAR1 added to internal table to display. Now ur ALV will be showing u a column to select records. U can select multiple records also. Evry selected record will reflect into internal table by modifying value of CHK as 'X'. Add button to ALV by creating PF-STATUS and add code its behavior when executed.

How to display data in a table on the screen

Dear members,
I have to display data from the database in a table on my screen when the page loads.
I have created the VO and the AM and made the mappings for the columns i want to display but the table on my screen is not fed when the page loads.
I have created my "table" region with the columns to display but i don't know the code to implement in the processRequest of the AM and the VO to display thes results of the VO query when the page loads.

1. In the flow logic section write the following code:
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0200.
LOOP AT I_LIKP WITH CONTROL LIKP_DATA CURSOR LIKP_DATA-CURRENT_LINE.
MODULE ASSIGN_DATA.
ENDLOOP.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0200.
LOOP AT I_LIKP.
ENDLOOP.
I_LIKP is the internal table which is used to display table data in the table control.
2. In Process Before Output, in the module STATUS_0200 write the following code:

Display 2 different structured internal tables in single screen using ALV

Hi,
I have two internal tables. Both has different structures. My requirement is to display both the internal tables in single screen using ALV Grid but NOT using OO ALV Grid display.
Is there any way of spliting the Final ALV display screen into two with two different headers and details as shown below.
Header1 for internal table 1
Data of internal table 1
Header1 for internal table 2
Data of internal table 2
Can anyone suggest a better way to display this.

first think i can say ALV GRID means only for OO ALV it is not possible to display two I.T. data in singr report screen.
better to use of the fm: REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY
so that u can display both I.T. data in separate report list under single screen

Can anyone tell me how to set a value to a disabled field in an existing screen.
For example , I want to set a value to the Paid/Credited field in the Sales - A/R Invoice screen, which is a disabled field.

It depends on the business process required for generating the invoice. (What is this process just now?)
I can think on quite a few ideas, but can't be sure if any of them will match your specific requirements. I'll list a few here and see if any of them might work, or at least generate some new ideas for you. (Unfortunately you can't change an existing payment object to add an invoice to it at a later date, nor is the reconciliation process exposed through the SDK. This limits your options a bit.)
1) Is there a need for a separate delivery and invoice? Would skipping the delivery process and using the standard Invoice + Payment screen work for you? Stock would be issued, invoice created and payment matched directly to invoice without any work.
2) This might apply if the invoice is simply a one for one match with the delivery. Rather than just generate a payment in the delivery screen, generate the invoice and a payment at the same time. The standard invoice screen will then show it as paid. You can control the dates on the invoice raised through DI code.
3) Where do you write the Paid Amount to? How is it not available in the invoice screen? Put it somewhere accessible and write it to the user field.

ABAP Webdynpro: Creating a table on webdynpro screen to enter new data.

Does anyone know, how to create a table on webdynpro screen that can be used to enter new data in database?
I have tried to create a Table UI element (with Standard Cell Editor as Input Field) but it is "Display only" if there is no data in the table. This means, while you can use it to modify the data if some data already exist, but you cannot use it to enter new data if no data already exist. What I am looking for is something similar to a Table Control (or Step-Loop) functionalty of a traditional (non webdynpro) SAP screen. How to achieve this in Webdynpro for ABAP?

Even if no data is not there, you can pass blank work areas to table, so now table will blank rows where you can enter the data even if previous data is not there.
below is the sample code to get blank rows in table in order to enter data.

Hello,
Yes it is possible using Module pool programming. You can use table control for your multiple inputs.
Then loop throgh the table control to populate table control data(input data) to your internal table for further use in PAI of the screen.
