Disabling custom fields when Equipment type is M

Hi all,
I modified the IE02 transaction by adding 5 custom fields
to the screen SAPLITO0 1050.
Now i have the requirement to disable these fields when eqtyp is 'M'.
Is there any userexit available for this purpose or i have to modify the PBO module of the screen.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Sai,
Did you place your PBO module in the screen 1022's flow
logic? The PBO logic should some what like following,
general dynpro settings
MODULE DYNPRO_INIT_SUB_ALL.
specific dynpro settings
MODULE DYNPRO_INIT_1022. "This is your module here..
restore active cursor position and set it
MODULE DYNPRO_CURSOR_SET.
And then in the PBO Module DYNPRO_INIT_1022 (which I assume is created in the include LIO0O01),
MODULE DYNPRO_INIT_1022 OUTPUT.
****Your screen modification logic here..
ENDMODULE.
Also did you activate/generate both the screen and program?
Please check that as well.
When you debug put a break-point in your PBO module and see whether the control goes there..

You can set default value to custom field thru Lookup table. Assign lookup table to custom field and set default value to some lookup value (Note: check the “Choose a value to use as a default when adding new item” checkbox).

Adding custom fields to Equipment master General tab ?

I have requirement where in I need to add two custom fields in IE02/IE03.
Completed part :
1. The new fields are added in the EQUI table in CI_EQUI structure.
2. Created a project in CMOD and linked enhancement ITOB0001 to it .
3. Activated the User exits EXIT_SAPLITO0_001 and EXIT_SAPLITO0_002.
4. Logic in EXIT_SAPLITO0_001
E_SUBSCREEN_NUMBER = '1020'.
I_OBJECT_TYPE = '02'.
I_ACTIVITY_TYPE = '3'.
EQUI-zfld1 = I_DATA_EQUI-zfld1.
EQUI-zfld2 = I_DATA_EQUI-zfld2.
Logic in EXIT_SAPLITO0_002
E_UPDATE_DATA_EQ-zfld1 = EQUI-zfld1.
E_UPDATE_FLAGS_EQ-zfld1= 'X'.
E_UPDATE_DATA_EQ-zfld2 = EQUI-zfld2.

Now the place where I got stuck is do I need to create a subscreen to add these new fields in SAPLITO0 , 1020 screen ?
Do I need to create a Function group ? If yes how do I link these.
I think I need access to Edit from SE51.

Read carefully the SMOD enhancement documentation
During CMOD execution, double-click on one of the Customer-exit dynpro (first time, choice the first one, the other dynpros will be used later for other objects)
In EXIT_SAPLITO0_001, pass the dynpro number in export parameter (e.g. 1000 for first one)
NB: In this exit you receive I_OBJECT_TYPE as imported parameter to identify Object Type: '1' = F/L '2' = EQU '3' = SER (do not try to change it ) so include may start with a CASE I_OBJECT_TYPE. WHEN 'EQU'. E_SUBSCREEN_NUMBER = '1000'... ENDCASE.

"The selected cells are read-only" error on Custom Field when trying to insert in Datasheet mode

I have a custom field that works completely fine. Yesterday our QA team found out that when trying to insert in Datasheet format, the error "The selected cells are read-only" was thrown. Any ideas? I tried passing the following property to my fldtypes_field.xml file:

Unfortunately it did not work. I also developed the code and access the field and checked its property called "ReadOnlyField" which is already set to false.

Disable custom field in SRM SUS in PO / POR item level

HI all,
We are using SRM 5.0, ECC6.0 and ECS scenario.
We have a requirement where a custom field in SUS portal has to be disabled for a certain condition.
I have checked for BADIs which could help me achieve this but none are available.
BADIs such as CUF BADI are not getting called while navigating through SUS PO and POR.
Please let us know if there are other ways through which we can achieve this.

I use SRM 7.0 i don't know if in 5.0 is equal, but what i would do in 7.0 is;
Add the custom fields in the view /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC for itmes or /SAPSRM/V_MDF_HC for header.
In this view you can inform a dynamic class and method for do it.
In this method you have a parameter named CS_METADATA you have the following field for do it;
VISIBLE
ENABLED
REQUIRED

Firefox shows wrong clickable email address on yahoo mail sign in field when I type first letter. explorer gets it right.age

When I type the first letters into the sign in box on the Yahoo Mail sign in page via my latest edition Firefox browser, (on Windows Vista) my clickable Hotmail address shows in the drop down box instead of my Yahoo address, (Both begin with the same word.) so I then need to always type in my correct Yahoo address to sign in. Internet Explorer gets it right, making me think it's a browser issue.
I've tried the settings in Yahoo, and everything in Firefox Tools/Options I can think of. Thanks for any help!

Disabling a field when a radiobutton is selected.

I have two radio buttons R1 and R2 and three input fields date1,date2 and date3 of which date3 is mandatory. My requirement is when I click on R2 the field date1 needs to be disabled. I am coding the logic at selection-screen output. But since the field date3 is mandatory this logic is calling after the madatory field check only. I want it to call before the mandatory field check.
Any solution?.

I tried to use Append structure.But systme is not allowing us to create custom filed in this..
It is a outbound.I created custom program to send this IDOC to other system .

Please create a enchancement for component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO.
Add new input field and label in view V_DODC_SHIPTO.
Bind the input field value with field ZZfield from structure /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO in the context node SHIP_TO .

Custom Field When Mobile Devices Search GAL (Android / iPhone / BBerry)

We are running Exchange 2010 SP2. In the details templates editor we renamed the pager field to "Direct Dial" to easily allow our users to see the direct dial numbers for the employees.
In the past when we searched the GAL from Android or iOS devices, we were able to see the pager field even though it was not named "Direct Dial" like it was in outlook.
I dont know when this feature stopped working (my guess is SP2??) but we can no longer see the pager field on our mobile GAL searches.
How can I restore or customize this functionality?

Update custom fields when bookin an attendee in TEM

Hi, this is my case:
When I book an attendee in a business event I need to maintain some additional info like e.g. the reason of training, any extra wages,etc, per employee.
I have created a custom PD infotype but i can't find a way to maintain it when booking the attendance. It would be useful if I could use something like Dynamic Actions....

Disabling a field when editing a user

I have a form in which I want to disbale a field if I am in editing mode. But I want it enabled when I create a user. Anyone know how to achieve this?

I think that when the user has not been created yet in IDM, the waveset.id does not exist. so you are in creation mode.
but when you're editing a user, the user exists in IDM and thus has a wavest.id.
really basic but works fine !

hi,
generally any standard programa will not contain the custom fields.
did u create tht field in any transaction.
if not then u have to write a program to update tht table.
or u identify the exits which trigger for that table and try to populate that fields using that exit.

SRM 7 - How to make a custom field dynamically retrieved trigger a refresh?

Hi all,
we're working on a brand new installation of SRM 7.
For contracts and purchase order, we created an enhancement on the webdynpro that manages header document data; in such view, custom fields are obtained dynamically and populate a Transparent container; by code, some tray group visually all the custom fields related to a specific section.
Now, the task is quite general; some of these "dynamically retrieved" fields should refresh, when populated, the view.
That is to say, in our context, that some custom field should automatically trigger the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method (which has been extended via overriding with an enhancement) when a value is inserted.
This would be a simple task if the field is explictly visible in the layout screen, since I could easily associate an event to the field itself.
But, since these custom field are automatically extracted in the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, we don't know how to manage these field's behavior, e.g. after an input value has been inserted.
Each dynamic custom field is a type ref to cl_wd_uielement; we wonder if we have a way to associate an event (e.g., onEnter) to such an element.

A custom field added in BAPI_PO_CREATE and BAPI_PO_CREATE1

I am trying to create a Service Purchase Order Single Account Assignment.
A Custom field ZZEXPTYPE(Expense Type) is added in BAPI_PO_CREATE and passed the value '9015', The PO Is created Successfully but when I add same Custom Field ZZEXPTYPE(Expense Type) in BAPI_PO_CREATE1 whose value is '9015' ,It throws an Error Message as " Please enter a valid (SBU Specific) expense type!" .
The functional consultant says that Expense Type '9015' is correct. please Let me know what must be done.

Populating custom fields

I'd like to be able to populate a custom field with keyboard commands. This would be analagous to using option-1, etc., to add keywords to the Keyword field.
My custom field is called 'Type', and the population consists of Tree, Palm, Patio Tree, Shrubs, Vines, Aquatics, Annuals. I want to assign keyboard shortcuts for each of these terms and have the term populate 'Type'.
Is this even possible? I spend a fair amount of time with the Command Editor, but didn't see anything. Of course my fallback is to simply use keywords, but as I am already about a third through 5000 images, I'd like to continue.

The organizational uses are important. Grouping like Keywords as children makes them much easier to find and use when using the Keywords HUD. And being able to collapse your Keyword HUD into a manageable number of top-level categories (just like an outline) is helpful in many situations. But the big advantage is this:
Using a parent Keyword as a category puts an entry in the Filter HUD whenever any on of its children Keywords are assigned to an Image in the currently active container. Thus you can filter any container easily using the Rule {"Keyword" "includes any of the following" "yourParentKeyword"}, and the filter will select all images that have a Keyword that is a child of "yourParentKeyword". (This saves you having to troubleshoot the results when you forget to click "Vines" while hunting down and clicking "Tree, Palm, Patio Tree, Shrubs, Aquatics, Annuals".) With a well-structured Keyword hierarchy, this can be extremely useful. At its simplest, you could filter Photos view as {"Keyword" "does not include" "Type"} and immediately identify all Images to which you have not added a "type" Keyword.
As a general practice, I promote specificity over concision. In this case, you should, imho, avoid the un-specific label "Type" in favor of something that will always specify its meaning to any user, such as "Type of Plant".
