Discount limited to stock lasts

Hi experts,I have a scenario for my client ,to be mapped into SAP,the client is US based and into automation pdt,they have come up with a new pdt for which they want,to give discount to specific number of customer,i mean not customer specific,but material specific.
But the discount on material -will remain till the stock say 100 qty lasts,once that is finished,the 101th quantity will have a different percentage of discount or no discount at all.
To put it more forward-The discount is for sayfirst 100 sales order or customers or first 100 qty(serially) of the material.
How is it possible in SAP SD,also do let me know apart from sd,what all other settings have to be done in the system to make it happen.
I hope i have,been able to put the issue correctly,also this is to inform that i 've already searched the forum but have not got the answer.
Feel free to revert back to me if,u have any problem related to the understanding of the issue.

First i tick the condition update tab in the detail screen of the condition type,
then i proceed to specify any of the following, maximum quantity.maximum value,maximum sales order..as specified by you and following the path mentioned in special condition record function link below

i am confused as i do not find any place where i could specify the above mentioned values.
What i found is validity date, Assignments ,Assignments for retail promotion
and payment..which further has Terms of payment.fixed value date,and additional value days
please guide me in this regard that,what more has to be done so that the specific tab..or place appears where i can put the much needed value.

I have a requirement which states that the status of a quotation in SAP CRM should change to 'X' when the discount on a line itemcrosses a certain limit. This limit would be specific to the user creating/editing the quotation. i.e. I need to configure discount limits for users and want the quotation status to be set based on whether the discount offered is within the limit of the current user. Please provide your inputs.

I would searck for appropriate badi that is triggered, when discount is set (check if badi CRM_PRICING_I_BADI is triggered at that moment).
Then you can use function CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN to set appropriate status when conditions are met.
And of course you will have to put somewhere the info what discount limit is allowed for users. You can create Z table in which maintaine that data or use some user parameters...

Tolerance Limits in SAP

Dear All,
How to set the under and over delivery tolerances for MIGO.
When we create the GR wrt to PO how w can set the tolerance limits for stock and non-stock and free text items.
Please advise

Adding to replies,
In P.O item level,You can set under delivery or Over delivery tolerance % manually,based on it you can do Goods receipt.
By default you can set under & over delivery tolerance value in info record also.
For example:
For stock items, for example
If you do p.o for 100 nos,and you define under delivery tolerance of 5%,you can do goods receipt for 95 nos,
automatically p.o is closed(Delivery completed indicator is ticked)
Similarly for over delivery tolerance of 5%,you can do goods receipt for 105 nos.

I'm an International Student and I want to buy an iPad with Retina Display 16GB Wifi + Cellular. Is there any discount? Any free accessories come along?

What is discounted pricing??

Hey Everyone,
I logged into my account today to look at my bill for the month. When I got in it said next "Eligible for a discount!" next to my phone. When I scrolled over the "?" with it, it said this:
"You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 2/02/12 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount."
So I get a little excited and start shopping for a new phone, pick one out and go to check out. When I looked at the price, it was the same as retail!!
Now, why would it be retail price if I'm eligible for discounted pricing????
My overall question is - Do I get a discount now or do I have to wait till 02/02//12?
Is the fact that I added my g/f to my account in April playing a role in this?

You should see the price of a phone as if you are a new customer or at your two year renewal. It is not an Add'l discount on top of the 2 year pricing.

W530 Power Adapters, 90W vs 135W Vs 170W

I Just got my W530 3720QM K2000m and i find it ridiculous that it cant use the 90W Adapter when idle and uses the battery. I Read threads of similar things with the W520, as well as some on the W510, and it appears that this used to work on the W510, 90W power adapter delivered the system in working condition with reduced performance. Now, i use my laptop as both a worstation and an entertainment laptop. if i were to go on a flight or be in a car, i sure wont be doing intensive VMware or 3d stuff, so 90W would be more than sufficient to drive the laptop as well as charge the laptop. i even have a Killawatt meter, i plugged in the 170W Adapter into it, and then ran my laptop while having the battery charged. the max power consumption that it pulled was 70W At the wall, surfing the web in optimus mode. Why cant we have a power saver mode to allow usage of the 90W adapter? or at least have the Choice between "battery only" - reduced performance anyways and "reduced performance AC/only"? At the very least it would avoid draining the battery for absolutely no good reason. My system idles at under 30watts anyways and that would leave 60W to do anything else, for example charging the battery at 40W - to give the total of 70W at the wall, from the 170W Brick. i Wish to see a revised bios to correct this or at least allow this. i dont believe its impossible or too complex to code. it was done on the W510, i dont see why it cant be done on newer, improved, smarter, more power controlled, 22nm ivy bridge based systems. and yes, if i wanted to use the full power of my machine i would have the 170W adapter, however, i currently own a T60, T61, T400 and now just added a W530, so i already have two docks + 4 90W adapters, + a 90W AC/DC Travel adapter. having to purchase another 170W adapter is kinda ridiculous, not to mention that its not compatible with any of my three other machines due to the fact that it is keyed. Please make a bios revision to address this issue. Thanks.

given my tests were done on a W530, i shall post my results here.
Bottom line: Lenovo power manager has no freaking clue as to how much power the system actually uses when its plugged into the wall. it cant even do basic arithmetic.
In any case, these are my findings. on the W530, with a i7 3720 QM, 32gb of 1600mhz ram, K2000m, these are my results on power consumption.
These tests were done to see if there was a logical explanation for not allowing the use of a 90W adapter at all on such a machine. bottom line is, if throtled, there is no reason not to. limiting the use to intel gpu only and not allowing turbo boost, effectively eliminates ANY possibility of using more than 90W when not charging the battery. The proof: The last two lines of this table. 60W Max power consumption at the wall under OCCT PSU Test when the cpu is limited to 2.6ghz, and the battery is removed/not charging. PSU Test stresses both cpu and gpu simultaneously.
The first battery of tests were to find out what tests should and shouldnt be performed, and what numbers were accurate. it was clear that power manager had no idea how to do basic math and later tests did not include it's random numbers. it only properly aproximates power consumption when on battery, not when on AC.
It was also concluded that using OCCT:CPU Resulted in the same power draw as CPU: Linpack, and thus OCCT CPU Was used to expedite number crunching.

Whats the biggest hard disk my PowerMac G5 can hold?

I got a hold of a PowerMac G5 recently, rather cool machine!
Anyway, i want to use it as a fileserver and also for backups of me and my family members computers so im going to need some big hard disks!
Unfortunately PPC macs wont boot from GUID partitioned hard disks so i have 1 hard disk bay free (Whilst the other holds the boot drive) Unless i find some super nice fellow willing to sell me a G5 Jive card rather cheap
At the moment i have a 2TB Samsung Spinpoint (HD204UI) that i could use however before i go messing around inside the system i'd like to know if such high capacity drives will work in the system at all? As far as im aware some hard disks need certain pins/jumpers connected so they run at the slower speed and such. I recall reading something about AFT being an issue as well?

You may be able to contact a product specialist or reseller of upgrade
parts, to see what the upper limits are to a stock last model G5 tower.
I see some options here, but not certain of product boundaries:

The above company does offer pre-purchase support, to help get what
works; and from reports by other Apple users, they also do, afterward.
At least with an internal 3.5" HDD, these run 7200 RPM, and so should
be fairly quick at moving data; the computer drive bus may be a slow
link in the chain, when a modern drive may be faster at in this aspect.
Same if you were to choose too-high spec SSD, instead of closer match.
The replacement or upgrade hard disk drives may be somewhat backward
compatible to older spec data rates; so that may be an answer of a sort.
A few of the listed HDDs and perhaps a SSD look promising. OWC does offer
some legacy SSD products that can be used in slower data bus situations.

Aggregation level includes filter objects...

We are using a BO universe on top of a BEX query to create WebI reports.
We now run into the following problem when filtering on a certain characteristic in the BO query.
The result set of rows is limited to the correct values, but not aggregated up to the requested aggregation level. The problem exists whether the key figure is defined as having an aggregation to be database delegated or sum.
In the query results we see the number of rows being pulled back is too high, the results displayed are correct (because aggregated by WebI). In the example below we selected three stores, but not store as a result object.

The problem becomes a real problem when the user wants to select everything u/i a certain date.
The number of rows are then pulled back on a style/store/day combination and easily reached 100.000 rows.

I didn't try this before, so I just did, despite the fact that the aggregation level only has something to do with the way data aggregates within webi. (I'm that desperate)
No difference, other then the fact that I now get #MULTIVALUE in the cells with multiple underlying rows.

IPhone $100 credit?!! and Apple Repair Service Scam!!!

To Steve Jobs, the Apple Board and Customers:
While I am happy that Apple is concerned about their customers, (and I will debade that in a moment), I cannot believe that you (Steve and Apple) went ahead with this move. Are you going to give me a $10 a share credit for the stock I bought at $140 that is now at $130 because of this pricing move and this credit?!! It's the same thing! Are all the iPhone buyers now boo-hooing because they had to buy the iPhone and didn't feel it was worth $599? You do realize that you now have set a precedent for all future pricing cuts at Apple, as everyone that has purchased a system that gets a price cut will slam Apple with email complaining they paid too much, etc. I want a credit for the money I have lost due to the discounting of my stock for this rediculous iPhone price cut. You guys blew it!!
Second problem regards a service problem. My 12" powerbook to a drop off the couch a year ago. Still working fine. Decided to get the bottom aluminum case plate replaced, as it is causing too much pressure on the DC inboard recepticle for the power cord. Took it in and got a $600 cost. Ok, way over-priced, but better than new systm! Sent it out. Less than a week later, I got a call from App,e, saying that the service team that inspected my system needed to also replace the DC inboard (fine) and the Hard Drive. The Hard Drive worked fine at the store before sending it off. I qouted the back of the service agreement stating that any damage of the system in Apple's care is Apple's problem, so replace it, but not at my cost. The Apple rep said that this did not qualify, as the "crashed" hard drive was due to the drop. I explained there was not drive problem until Apple shipped it, so get the cost from the shipper insurance. Apple rep said the cost was mine to bear and they would not proceed with the repairs unless I agreed to replacing the DC inboard and HD at an additional cost of $375 (3 times market cost from local Appple authorized repair facility). I continued to question the HD crash. She stated that the repair facility said it crashed, no longer operational. I said I can get these parts for a much better price, send the unit back as is.
Well, unit came back and is FINE!!!! HD works perfectly!!! Ran a diagnostic (I am a certified Sun Microsystems and HP System and server administrator!!!) on the drive and no sector damage or HW problems from the read/write testing. DC inboard is still functional. Apple sent this to Flextronics International. I say, CHECK YOUR SERVICE PROVIDERS APPLE, AS THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD ON THE APPLE CUTOMER BASE AND YOU FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS!!! I am not making this up, I have the documents proving this and my system is working right now as I type this. I hope to hear from someone at Apple to contact me on this issue, as the store and 800-MyApple jst softly skirted the issue with, "I'm sure there is a problem with the hard drive and it was not working at the repair facility. It is just on its last life and just happens to be working now." Are you kidding me?!!! I wonder if the New York Time would be interested in this problem?!!!
I also noticed the service agreement states that all replaced parts will be replaced with either new, reconditioned or USED parts. GREAT!!! They would take my drive out, put it in someone elses "crashed" drive and take their drive and put it in my computer and get a huge markup for nothing but labor!!!
I am glad I no longer own Apple shares, and anyone who does, beware of this and other devaluing business decisions or over-sight lacking of Steve Jobs, the Apple board and company!!

The messed up thing is that I thought I could use the credit on iTunes over time as I buy music, audiobooks, etc., but noooooo, they won't let you use the credit for either iTunes or for the purchase of an iTunes gift card. Truly an empty promise. I purchased all of the needed iPhone accessories (docks, cases, adaptors) before the credit was announced! Now there is nothing else really relevant to buy from the Apple Store (retail or online) if they aren't going to let you use iTunes. I guess I could return the extra dock I bought and then re-buy it with the credit. Now, where is that receipt and packaging?? The only other things they sell for iPhone that I don't have are the crystal film and another one of those silly little adaptors you have to use for a car cassette device all b/c of the recessed jack on the iPhone. It shouldn't be this way, particularly with Apple.

IPhone 4 shutting itself off at night and only comes on by force reboot

Having a serious issue with my new iPhone 4, every night it shuts down completely and won't start up unless you force reboot it.
The weird thing is, first night it did it I thought it ran out of juice, so I plugged it in to charge (by wall and computer) and it wouldn't show any charging status. Left it for about an hour, still nothing, still won't just turn on by the power button. Finally I got it up and running by force rebooting it (all buttons pressed) and the strange thing is the phone doesn't have a higher charge despite being plugged in for about an hour, still the same as when I went to sleep, 20%.
So it works for the rest of the day without a hiccup...
Then same thing happens last night, shuts down while I'm sleeping, have to force reboot it this morning and the battery shows it's still about 80% charge.
Anyone else experience this?

Short version: My solution was going to the Apple store and getting a replacement.
I didn't want to deal with the same issue for a third day and be a QC experiment for Apple so I got the new 32gb home, restored all my data from my backup (not set up as a new phone, same as I did the first iPhone4) and voila the new phone was still alive this morning.
Obviously there's been some manufacturing defeats (swapped buttons, screen issues, reception, now this) so my advice is don't waste your time trying to solve it for Apple, get a new replacement and let them figure it out. My Apple advisor told me that the stores get limited replacement stock everyday just for these types of issues, you just need to make a genius appointment to deal with it.

If you required project stock and consignment stock with valuated stock report in same place you need to generate new info structure as given below link. Or you can go with customized report with abaper.
