What is discounted pricing??

Hey Everyone,
I logged into my account today to look at my bill for the month.  When I got in it said next "Eligible for a discount!" next to my phone.  When I scrolled over the "?" with it, it said this:
"You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 2/02/12 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount."
So I get a little excited and start shopping for a new phone, pick one out and go to check out.  When I looked at the price, it was the same as retail!!
Now, why would it be retail price if I'm eligible for discounted pricing????
My overall question is - Do I get a discount now or do I have to wait till 02/02//12?
Is the fact that I added my g/f to my account in April playing a role in this?
I hope someone can help.
Thanks!!!

It sounds like you are eligible for your LAST annual upgrade. You can purchase a phone at the 2 year price + $20 and sign a new two year contract. OR you can wait until 2/12/2012 (20th month into your current contract) and be able to purchase a new phone at the two year contract price minus an additional loyalty (formerly known as NE2) discount of either $30, $50, or $100 depending on when you last started your current two year contract. This is additional discount is also the last time you will have this discount.
If this is what's going on, then why wouldn't it discount the price of the phone I selected?
Thanks!!!
You should see the price of a phone as if you are a new customer or at your two year renewal. It is not an Add'l discount on top of the 2 year pricing.
I did it online in May and pricing was correct

  • Discount pricing, but not eligible for an upgrade?

My dads phone doesnt have an upgrade untill 4/24/12, but yet it says hes eligible for a discount and when I call up they always say his line is eligible for an upgrade. What is this discount pricing and how does it work if he still doesnt have an upgrade for another half a year.

Alright, couple more questions, is there any benefit from using his NE2 upgrade in april 2012 over the discount annual upgrade? And also, could I steal his discount upgrade and use it for myself? I know alot of people who steal upgrades im just not sure they are the annual ones
The NE2 discount is an additional $30,$50, or $100 discount (the amount depends on your calling plan - you'll have to call Verizon to get this information) So if you wait until April 2012, your dad's line will have that additional discount to put towards a new phone.
You can't "steal" upgrades. All you really do is purchase the phone on the eligible line, and activate it on another one.
You can use his annual upgrade now if you want, just remember it will be the 2 year contract pricing + an additional $20 fee for upgrading early. Also remember that doing so will void any and all NE2 discount he may have.
If you use his upgrade now, make sure you activate the phone on HIS line first (since you will purchase it on his line, his contract is extended another 2 years, and you must accept the terms of service by activating it on his line) and then you can activate it on yours. This process goes for using anyone else's upgrade other than your own.

  • Sales Order Discount Pricing Rounding Error

When we use discount RA01 in our Sales Pricing / Orders it results in rounding issue that shows on Customer Invoice.
    eg: Sales Order Conditions Tab
    Product XXXX x 2 EACH
    CnTy Amount (per ea)
    PR00 $141.55 EA
    RA01 10%
    $14.16
    Net Val $127.40EA
Total Condition Value (x Order qty)
    PR00 $283.10
    RA01 $28.31
    Net Val $254.79
So what the Customer sees is the unit price of $127.40 and totol line cost of $254.79.
    But $127.40 x 2 is obviously $254.80
It looks as though the discount is being calculated as 14.155, then the Net Value rounding from $127.395 to $127.40
Where as the TOTAL Net Value for the line is showing the $127.395 x 2 = $254.79.
How do we get this scenario to result in the Net Value Amount, and Net Value Condition Value multiplying correctly by Qty on the Order??
    Thanks

    Hi Thenmozhi
Sorry for confusion, I  am responding to your question above using a new Public logon, as the logon i used to raise this question has been locked, and SAP advise may take a few days to rectify.  But I am hoping I can sort this issue ASAP.
The Requirements indicator for PR00 and RA01 is 2
    The Calculation Type is PR00 = C (qty) and RA01 = A (%)
The Net Price, PR00 and RA01 are all set to Rounding = Commercial.
    Thanks

  • Is quantum tv worth it? and what is the pricing and how much are regular dvr and multiroom dvr?

I currently have multi room dvr that costs about 20 bucks and regular dvr that is about 18 I think I am thiknking about an extra dvr in upcoming future will that be about 18?
    so 20 18 18? for regular fios?
it looks like quantum is 50 bucks extra oine time with 20 bucks extra per month?
but it looks like 3 quatum dvr is 37 bucks a month
plus 20 bucks for quantum service?
    so it is
    37
    20?
am I correct in the billing? thanks in advance!

I recently upgraded to Quantum TV.  When I started the process, I went to the website and created the changes I was thinking of, but try as I did, I kept finding myself confused about what the actual revised monthly cost would be.
I wound up calling Verizon sales on the phone.  I went through what I was thinking of ordering with the agent, she priced that package for me, and sent me an email showing what the cost would be.
The attached .pdf file is the "Order Preview I got via email."  It made clear to me what I will actually be paying.  I recommend the same process to anyone considering making changes to their service.
edit:  For whatever it's worth, thus far we've found that the Quantum improvements are indeed worth the few extra $$$ a month we're paying for them.  The biggest of those improvements (for us) being able to record 6 programs at once, rather than only 2.

  • What is SFO Pricing

I am planning on getting a Motorola DROID Maxx 4G LTE. The only thing that is stopping me from getting one is this SFO pricing. I see what my bill would look like but there is this SFO Pricing included it says $50.00. I am getting this phone online is this an option to have on my bill or is it permanent. I do not want to be paying for something that I would not be using.

Well SFO stands for Special Feature Offering and usually just refers to the available features on your line of service, standard or optional. Perhaps you have a $50/5GB data package instead of the standard $30/2GB data package?

  • Advice needed: Volume discount pricing structure

I need advice on how to have a volume pricing discount structure for Contract.
    Example:
Part number item is purchased at $10 for 100pcs. Subsequent POs issued after 100pcs is going to be $9.
I'm sure SAP tracks the number of orders that go out and then effect the new price correctly.
How to go about creating this condition and how to use it in the PO?
    Thank you.

I think you need to use the scales in contract. In the contrct conditions you can give in the following
    upto 100           $10
    upto 500           $9
    upto 1000          $8
    ................. so on.
Hope this will suffice your requiments.
    Award me if it works.
    Cheers!!!

  • If my daughter is in grade 8, can I get student discount pricing if I want her to join the cloud?

My daughter is into graphic arts and design (manga/anime/etc) and I want to join the cloud and give her access to the tools. Obviously, I would have to pay (credit card, etc), but can I still get the student pricing even though she's in primary school and it would have to be under my name?

Moving this discussion to the Student and Teacher Edition Information forum.
Jjeenndd you can find information regarding eligibility information for your country/region at http://www.adobe.com/education/teacher-eligibility-guide.html.  You can use your Credit Card to pay for access.
Alternately you can also purchase a prepaid Creative Cloud subscription card at a local reseller.  This would give you the ability of giving a one time gift which will give her access for a fixed period of time.  They also can be great when added to a nice greeting card.

  • What is the pricing for Illustrator CS6 and CS5 for creative cloud and also outright purchase

I'm wanting to purchase Illustrator CS6 or prior versions either through creative cloud or outright purchase. I haven't been able to find prices other than for Illustrator CC.
    Thanks for your help!

Okay thanks. It wouldn't make sense since it costs the same per month for CC though, right?
Also, could you tell me why it is that when I click the below link (free CC trial) it launches nothing but the screen below.

    PRICING ELEMENTS
The standard system includes condition types for basic pricing elements, such as material prices, customer and material discounts, and surcharges such as freight and sales taxes. In the case of each element, you can use the standard version, modify the standard version, or create entirely new definitions to suit your own business needs. The sequence of activities is generally as follows:
Define condition types for each of the price elements (prices, discounts, and surcharges) that occur in your daily business transactions.
Define the condition tables that enable you to store and retrieve condition records for each of the different condition types.
Define the access sequences that enable the system to find valid condition records.
Group condition types and establish their sequence in pricing procedures.

  • Promised Discounts MISSING - What recourse do I have?

On 10/23 I spoke with Ameila.  Though I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 12 years never having switched I could not ignore the current deal sprint was offering. She assured me she would get as close as possible to keep me and my 2 other lines.  I was promised several discounts, each one I wrote down and repeated many times.  I was on the phone for approximately 2 hours.  I asked for an email receipt to ensure what I was promised would be what I get.....I asked for some kind of confirmation(oddly enough none available except her sincere promise that she wrote each discount in the notes and that I would have no problem due to my longevity of service.).  I agreed and upgraded one of the phones to the Iphone 6+.  I called to activate the shipping process and thought I better just check.  Only 1 of the 4 discounts was listed and instead of the promised $140 bill ....I was told $200 by Nicole on 10/28.  I am now holding for a supervisor.  I am very upset.....there is no way this was misunderstood by me or by the CSR.  It's surreal .....the blatant untruths and deception.  What recourse do I have?

The line that is not in contract, you can go into Verizon online and add month to monht discount. What other discounts were promised? Did you sign up for Edge or regular contract?
