Discoverer session is timing out due to inactivity in apps

I am facing problem with discoverer session is timing out due to inactivity very frequently ,if i didnt worked for 4 mintues its disconnecting with error timing out due to inactivity.We have disc4i 4.1.47 in 11.5.10 .Where i can increase the value of timeout ?

applypreferences.sh, registerpreference.sh usualy generts a log, try to check it maybe something went worng.
i faced the same issue on discoverer 10g the fix was to change some parameters on opmn.xml (i dont recall the parameters) and restart opmnctl stopall/startalls

I login to the server at:

and navigate to:
Farm_bifoundation_domain
And I keep getting logged out, and the message:
Weblogic/OBIEE:
Because of inactivity, your session has timed out and is no longer active. Click OK to reload the page.
What's aggravating, is that I can login, and immediately get the message!
It is just me on this machine/environment.
How can I configure the server so that:
a: this does not happen at all, or
b: the timeout happens only after 2 or 3 hours

look for "emoms.properties" file
For my env :

the VALUE is in MINUTES
Restart Admin & SOA server.

Java.rmi.NoSuchObjectException: Session has timed out or was invalidated

I am getting error in subject when my application is not using Statefull Session Bean for sometime(20 Minutes or so). What i understand is that after session bean is passivated and next time some method is invoked, it is throwing this exeception. My appserver is Oracle 10gAS release2. Please guide if somebody has any clue...This is very critical.Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I posted to VSM sample and Pooled ApplicationModule Maximum Inactive Age
which seems to be a similar situation.
Does anyone have any information on where this time out parameter is set on either the app module or OAS and how to handle this error correctly?

ORABPEL-05002 - Message handle error - Session has timed out or was invalid

In our production environment we are facing this issue.
We are trying to find the root cause to fix the issue.
My Understanding:*
In the below error message,
we are able to see the Session has timed out or invalidated.
Also we are able to see the Non-fatal connection error. I believe that when the MDB trying to process the dispatched message, it will invoke the message from invoke_message table of dehydration store. At this point of time it gets non-fatal connection error so we are gettign this error.
I need to know the difference between fatal and non-fatal connection error. Is my understanding correct or not ?

I have an itunes acct. on my PC, but itunes doesn't allow me on using that acct. info. When I try to set up a new id on my ipad it says the session has timed out.

I have an itunes account on my PC and have downloaded Kindle and iBook with no problem, but when I try and use that acct id on my iPad the system says I cannot access the store. However, when I try to create a new id the system comes up and tells me that I am from Canada, which is always nice to know in case I ever forget, and when I acknowledge that screen, it immediately tells me the session has timed out. When I've had a similar problem, it was because I was accessing the iTunes store from a device I hadn't used before, such as when I upgraded from an iPad 1 to the iPad 2. It was a little confusing to me until I figured it out.
All I had to do was use the ID of my existing account and play along with the iTunes store. As I recall, it asked for my password twice, and the security code from the back of my credit card. After that, downloads proceeded as before.

There are a couple things that I would recommend trying. Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device. Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below. If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in. Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

I am having the same problem also! I posted on here about it, but no one has responded with ideas. I called technical support and e-mailed them, the only suggestions they gave was for the to turn off my firewall. But I didn't change anything, so it shouldn't suddenly stop working. Maybe this is just an iTunes issue? But it doesn't even recognize my account anymore, and I cannot log in now.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.
