Display dynamic table & content

I have this one webpage which I display a Dynamic record from
the DB. The webpage contains a table with the dynamic record inside
the table.
On the webpage, if the record firld from the DB is empty, the
table is not displayed on the page. If there is, the table is
displayed with the record inside.
With the following code, it works fine for the empty record
but for the other ones, it will display the table but no records
inside...any idea?

You need to pass the following to the quantity fields..

Problem in displaying dynamic table placed in master page

Hi all,
I have placed a dynamic table in my master page. When the page overflows the dynamic table is shown only in 1st page. I want this table to be shown in every page. Please help me solve this.

Thank you all for your reply. But i cannot keep the table in body page as i want this table to be displayed in every page in the header. Actually i am displaying an address through this table.
I have moved the content area in master page to center and reduced its size and in the body page i have placed a table which will display the report. When this table overflows to next page all the contents in master page are shown except for the address table in master page. I am not sure whether i am doing it the right way as i am bit new to adobe forms.
Please let me know where am i going wrong. Also please suggest me some alternative method ( if any ) to display the address in every page if the above method is not feasible.

Dialog-driven programs, or any program started using a transaction code, are known as SAP transactions, or just transactions. The term "transaction" is used in several different contexts in the IT world. In OLTP (Online Transaction Processing), where several users are working in one system in dialog mode, the term "transaction" stands for a user request. In conjunction with database updates, it means a change in state in the database.
Programs with type M can only be started using a transaction code, in which an initial screen is defined. Programs with type 1 can be started either using a transaction code, or by entering the program name in one of the transactions SE38 or SA38. Screens call dialog modules in the associated ABAP program from their flow logic. Type M programs serve principally as containers for dialog modules, and are therefore known as module pools. Type 1 programs, or function modules can also switch to dialog mode by calling screens using the CALL SCREEN statement. The program code of the corresponding executable program or function pool must then contain the corresponding dialog modules.
Programs that are partially or wholly dialog-driven cannot be executed in the background. They are therefore sometimes referred to as dialog programs.
Transaction code
The transaction code starts a screen sequence. You create transaction codes in the Repository Browser in the ABAP Workbench or using Transaction SE93. A transaction code is linked to an ABAP program and an initial screen. As well as using a transaction code, you can start a screen sequence from any ABAP program using the CALL SCREEN statement.
Screens
Each dialog in an SAP system is controlled by one or more screens. These screens consist of a screen mask and its flow logic. Since the flow logic influences the program flow, screens are sometimes referred to as "dynamic programs". You create screens using the Screen Painter in the ABAP Workbench. Each screen belongs to an ABAP program.
The screen has a layout that determines the positions of input/output fields and other graphical elements such as checkboxes and radio buttons. The flow logic consists of two parts:
Process Before Output (PBO). This defines the processing that takes place before the screen is displayed.
Process After Input (PAI). This defines the processing that takes place after the user has chosen a function on the screen.
All of the screens that you call within an ABAP program must belong to that program. The screens belonging to a program are numbered. For each screen, the system stores the number of the screen which is normally displayed next. This screen sequence can be either linear or cyclic. From within a screen chain, you can even call another screen chain and, after processing it, return to the original chain. You can also override the statically-defined next screen from within the dialog modules of the ABAP program.
GUI status
Each screen has a GUI status. This controls the menu bars, standard toolbar, and application toolbar, with which the user can choose functions in the application. Like screens, GUI statuses are independent components of an ABAP program. You create them in the ABAP Workbench using the Menu Painter.
ABAP Program
Each screen and GUI status in the R/3 System belongs to one ABAP program. The ABAP program contains the dialog modules that are called by the screen flow logic, and also process the user input from the GUI status. ABAP programs that use screens are also known as dialog programs. In a module pool (type M program); the first processing block to be called is always a dialog module. However, you can also use screens in other ABAP programs, such as executable programs or function modules. The first processing block is then called differently; for example, by the runtime environment or a procedure call. The screen sequence is then started using the CALL SCREEN statement.
Dialog modules are split into PBO modules and PAI modules. Dialog modules called in the PBO event are used to prepare the screen, for example by setting context-specific field contents or by suppressing fields from the display that are not needed. Dialog modules called in the PAI event are used to check the user input and to trigger appropriate dialog steps, such as the update task.
Passing Data Between ABAP Programs and Screens
How are fields from ABAP programs displayed on the screen? And how is user input on the screen passed back to the ABAP program? Unlike in list programming, you cannot write field data to the screen using the WRITE statement. Instead, the system transfers the data by comparing the names of screen fields with the names of the ABAP fields in the program. If it finds a pair of matching names, the data is transferred between the screen and the ABAP program. This happens immediately before and immediately after displaying the screen.

Field Attributes
For all screen fields of a dialog screen, field attributes are defined in the Screen Painter. If a field name in the screen corresponds to the name of an ABAP Dictionary field, the system automatically establishes a reference between these two fields. Thus, a large number of field attributes for the screen are automatically copied from the ABAP Dictionary. The field attributes together with data element and domain of the assigned Dictionary field form the basis for the standard functions the screen executes in a dialog (automatic format check for screen fields, automatic value range check, online help, and so on).
Error Dialogs
Another task of the screen processor is to conduct error dialogs. Checking the input data is carried out either automatically using check tables of the ABAP Dictionary or by the ABAP program itself. The screen processor includes the error message into the received screen and returns the screen to the user. The message may be context-sensitive, that is, the system replaces placeholders in the message text with current field contents. In addition, only fields whose contents is related to the error and for which a correction may solve the error can accept input. See also Messages on Screens.

Can I display the table content of a web page??

Hi guys I am new to java and here I need to count the words in each table and display the table with largest number of words . This being a part of my huge project. Entire excel file is displayed ,but the problem is I want to display the excel file in one shot i.e not line by line
Kindly suggest if there is any keyword or FM to display the contents in excel using internal table.
It should not take much time. Just by executing code , the contents of internal table should be displayed.

maybe it's not sophisticated enough for your requirement, but I found function XXL_FULL_API easy to use. This will give same functionality as 'download' button in ALV-Grid display.

Displaying dynamic table in OOPS ALV

I am creating a dynamic internal table which consists of some fields which are being filled dynamically and some fields which are being filled from a static internal table. I am facing two issues in the development:-
1. The static fields are being populated into the dynamic work area successfully but I am not able to modify the dynamic in ternal table using the work area.
PFB my code:

The dynamic filds of <I_DYN_TABLE> are being populated successfully but the MODIFY statement gives an error.
The specified type has no structure and therefore no component called UDATE.
2. The other problem I am facing is that while displaying output for the same ALV, no column names are being displayed.
I am using OOPS ALV.

In that tick the Go to new page check box and write the page no. into the i/o bos besides it and write the condition whatever it is.

Dynamic table content

I am using OA Framework Classic Table. My table contains a MessageComponentLayout region.
My question is can I dynamically set the rendered property based on a value chosen by the user for the table, different for each row.
My business case is that I have a table that contains a column "Row Type". Based on the values for row type (say it's A, B, or C). If the value is A then fields A1, A2 will display for the user to input. If the value is B, then B1 field would display. If the row type is A, then B1 field should not display.
Can I do this rendering at a row level? And if so, please point me where I can find an example.

yes you can control rendering at a row level.
You must add a transient Boolean field (say toRender) to your table data VO.
In your VO initQuery() method set it to either TRUE or FALSE according to your business logic.
Then define a new "public void updateToRender(String type)" method in your VO in which you iterate in your VO and set the value to either TRUE or FALSE by comparing the row attribute "Type" and the "type" parameter.
Define a "public void updateToRender(String type)" method in your AM, to call the same VO method.
Use PPR event in your CO to call the AM updateToRender method when the user selects the row type to show.

When you say the content is edited on one page, do you mean
that you are editing it in dreamweaver or it is being dynamically
edited on the page itself?
Possible solutions are:
Put your content in a DB and kick it out to all pages

REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY does not display internal table contents

Im having a weird problem at my hand. Im using the function module REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY to display a basic list. I have the contents in an internal table. I have built a field catalog and its working fine. Im passing the internal table to the FM, but in the output I can't see any of the table entries.

How to display dynamic page content in an external application (MS Word)?

I have a portal that generates a CV from info stored by various forms. The CV displays fine in a dynamic page, but when I add javascript to launch MS Word with a call to the dynamic page portlet, only the hard coded html displays - nothing between the <ORACLE> tags is loaded.
I had the idea of updating the dynamic page with hard coded html prior to each export - but I can't find where the dynamic page definition is stored in the database.
Any ideas/better solutions out there?

DYNAMIC CHANGE OF TABLE CONTENTS IN WEBDYNPRO VIEW

I have a requirement to display a table contents, and there are two buttons, When i select some records and clk on a button i need to delete these records in the database table as well as in webdynpro view.
I am able to delete the records in database but the contents of table in view of webdynpro remains unchanged. Can anyone tell me how to delete the contents in the view also??

Hi Naveen,
You need to Refresh the data you are binding to the table to make the latest data
visible on the screen.
On action of the button you are deleting entries from the database. After this
Fetch data again from the database and bind to the node of the table.

Dynamic Table in ALV

Hello experts,
is it possible to call an ALV via ( class cl_salv or fm REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY) with a dynamic table?
This dynamic table has for example one fix column for the material number and dynamic colums for additional data.
One material has 1 additional column, the other material has two additional columns.
So i need an ALV with 3 columns material add_data1 add_data2 (add_data2 of material one is empty this is ok).
To build an itab which can handle this is possible i know.

Database Query & Dynamic Table Question

Greetings all. I am using Dreamweaver CS3 and working in PHP
with a MySql database. I'm sure the recordset I'm trying to create
is rather simple, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I
have a table with peoples' names and their grades in different
subjects. For example:
Name Subject 1 Subject 2 Subject 3
John D. 85 72 73
Jane D. 90 85 70
John S. 70 92 85
What I'm wanting is a page with a dynamic table for the
person that logs on to see their grades in each subject if it's
above an 80. I already know how to pass the username session
variable, but I'm not sure how to say "show subject if value is
greater than or equal to 80." So, for example, if John D. logged in
the table would look like:
Subject 1 80
If Jane D logged in, her displayed dynamic table would look
like:
Subject 1 90
Subject 2 85
So, I want the table to show the header name (subject) and
the grade if the grade >= 80. Any ideas on how to solve my
dilemma would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

separate table idea, but there are something like 50 subjects, and
I already have the rest of the site built around my current table
structure. I think it would be more trouble than it's worth to
change everything. I'm rather new to PHP, so if you don't mind
helping out, how would I setup the code to say "ok, here's a query
with every subject and name, now pull only the subjects with a
score >= 80 for person A (generated by a URL variable)?" What
I'm envisioning is a repeating table with Subject (if >=80) on
the left, and the actual score on the right. The query I'm using to
pull the scores for the logged in person is
SELECT Name, Subject 1, Subject 2...
FROM Grades
WHERE Name = colname
colname = $_GET['Name'] (my url variable)
This works just fine to pull ll grades for all subjects for
just the person who logged in. I'm not sure how passed this point
to a) filter the subjects by a value, and b) list those subjects
and grades in a vertical repeating table. Thank you again for your

Jsf display dynamic sql search results in table

i'm making a search results page that will basically mirror the contents of a database table. i dont know what the user will search for so i need to generate the table (rows, columns) dynamically. i've used 3 days on this searching my brains out and have surprisingly not found anything helpful.
example searches:
select * from member
select * from user
select * from invoices
these tables will have completely different columns. what i've done so far is return a Collection<Collection<String>> to my backing bean. the Collection<String> are the rows, i.e. the column values.
i'm not sure now how to create a dynamic table from this. any help would be greatly appreciated. fyi, i have access to richfaces as well.

Best practice is to give the users a minimum no of rows initially - say ten - then give them an option to fetch the next ten rows through pagination. You might also need a WHERE clause to restrict the amount of data being queried from the database.
