Display line items of the data into next page in case of overflow

Hi all,
In my requirement i am displaying header data with its line items through smart forms ( Landscape format).Since i am using landscape format main window size is less.Hence, In case of overflow of data
the line items only should get displayed in the next page without the header information.
I have given next page as Second page and i kept only main window in the next page. But still it is displaying header information in the next page in case of overflow of data.

Hi Bhanu,
In this case you can go for any one of the below 2 solutions.
1) Try to use a seperate window(secondary window) for header information and for line items use main window. In second page use only main window. So, when the data overflows you will get only the line items.
2) Try to use text elements. Give the header information in one text element say T1 and the line items in another text element say T2. And then write WRITE_FORM for text element T2 in a loop to display the line items.

Can anyone please help me in a way of displaying the line items at the right place in the table fields?I have been playing with the tabs to space it for quite sometime. I tried everypossible combination, but does not work. Tring to figure out have not succeeded yet.
the line items in some lines displaying right, but if the first name or the last name is long, either pushes forward the subsequesnt data or if the length is small, it pulls the data inside.
I do not know how to fix this.

If it is a form to be newly developed, it is better to go in for Smartform development since smartforms will automatically handle this problem.
If you still want to continue using Scripts try to use
/: YORGIN
or
/: XORIGIN to adjust the height of the Box, if needed.

For the problem regarding length of the names, try to split the name and show it on two lines
eg., wrk_name+0(20) on the first line
and wrk_name+20(20) on the second line

Line items are not coming on next page in Bill of Lading

When I am printing Bill of Lading, if it has around 8 line items then its printing on the first page, but if line items are more then its not printing the remaining line items on second page.
I have one delivery with 10 line items, when I am printing it then on first page 7 line items are coming and for 8 line item only material is printing and on second page its description is printing but last two line items are not printing at all.
Kindly help me to resolve the issue as it is very critical.

Check below points.
Point 1:
When you create a delivery document, you create it for a Shipping Point.
So whatever the line that came in to one delivery has determined same shipping point that you entered in VL01N screen.
Others got a different shipping point and that's why it didn't come to the same delivery document.
Shipping point determined based on below criteria
- Shipping Condition - From customer master
- Loading Group - Material
- Plant - Delivery Plant of the sales order line item
You assign a proffered shipping point for above combination in configuration.
If that combination is not find, those line items are not going in to the delivery.
You can check the log of the delivery document for more information as well.
Point 2:
Check the line item Requested delivery date and the "Selection Date" you entered in the VL01N screen.
Al Requested delivery dates has to be on or before the "Selection Date" you entered in the VL01N screen.
Those line items which has a date more than that will dropped in the delivery.

Last Line Item in Report Repeating on Next Page

The last line of data of every page is also the first line on the next page. I have not encountered this before and I cannot see how it is happening or how to correct it.
The report has three groups and the 3rd group has 3 details lines. It is the 2nd detail line that repeats. The repeating line has not encountered a group change, nor has the 3rd detail line been triggered. It is a simple report that lists a line of data and prints it onto the report.
The SQL is grouped by the same grouping of the report. Yes, data does repeat in the SQL, which would be expected for the grouping. However, the data does not repeat in a group of the data returned by the SQL statement, so there is no reason for this data repetition.
It is not restricted to any one piece of data in the report. The line that repeats is the last line on a page. Clicking on the next page of the report shows the last line of the previous page is the first line of the new page. This is true whether the report is viewed or printed.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

I was able to resolve this. The detail section did not have the Keep Together checked. Once this was checked, the repeating line issue was resolved.

My name is Shawn and I work for Pfizer, an enterprise client of yours. We have thousands of LifeCycle licenses, but I don't know whom to contact to get support so I'm posting my question here.
I am creating a PDF form that lets the user check a box when the want to select a web metric they need set up for their website. What I'd like to do is, once a user has checked this box (there are over 100), all the boxes they've checked out of the 100 or so metrics pop-up / show up / dynamically generate at the bottom page, and have additional checkboxes next to them for the development teams "eyes only" that they will have to in turn, when the form is emailed to them filled out, select TEST and VERIFY checkbox for each metric showing that they've tested and verified the metric was configured, and then a text field prompting them to say HOW they tested and verified / what method.
How do I do this using LiveCycle?

What you're looking to do is created a dynamic form that changes on the click of a button. This is done through script, and you have a couple of choices, there are several postings in these forms that provide guidance in this area (instancemanager is used for this dynamic capability). Your second option is to use action builder and it will provide guidance for you as well. Click on Tools > Action Builder. Also depending on what version you have install location/EN/Samples/Forms/Purchase Order/Dynamic Interactive may help.

Displaying the data into the UI tables

Hello Experts,
I am new to web dynpro ABAP and I have created the tree with two UI tables(table1 and table2) by using web dynpro ABAP and want to display the data into both the UI tables at the same time just by one click on the item node of the tree.
presently I am able to display the data as follows
1. when I click on the item node the relevant data for the item appears into table1, but not into table2
2. when I select the row of table1 then the revlevant data for item appears into table2.
like this i can able to dispaly the data into both the table.
My Question.
how to display the data at the same time into both the tables table1 and table2 just by one click
on the item node.

I am able to invoke the method before the taskflow.
But it is giving me the exception as *"UI Component is Null"* .
The value of the table which I am using to display the data is coming as Null.

Line items for the PO are not automatically displayed

Hi all,
When attempting to post an invoice against PO, the line items for the PO are not automatically displayed. When we went to the Listing of PO's and brought this up, we noticed under the "invoice"tab that the: Invoice Receipt & GR-BsdIV is checked.

Can you check delivery complete indicator in PO. It is in PO item details delivery tab.
In MIRO transaction, select the tab Purchase order/scheduling agreement, enter PO number and press enter.
Right hand side select the layout all information .

PERNR - Personnel Number on vendor line item of the FI document Posting

After posting a time sheet (PR05, PRFI, PRRW), the FI document created (display via FB03) has the personnel number on each of the GL line items, but the field is blank on the vendor line item. Does anyone know how to get this to be populated with the same data as being populated on the GL line items (it's the same field BSEG-PERNR)? I've made the field optional on the vendor reconciliation account as well as on the posting key, but no success yet. thanks.

The vendor master was populated. The strange thing is that the GL line item gets populated but not the vendor line item in BKPF/BSEG. We talked to SAP and to get the vendor line item to populate we would have to do an SAP coding change.
I created a quickview (SQVI) between the appropriate tables to get the report out that we needed (a bit easier than an ABAP) - but nontheless it worked.

How to display line items twice in a single page in sap script

I am working on check printing. I copied the standard driver program and form to Zprogram and ZForm. Which are RFFOUS_C(print program) and F110_PRENUM_CHECK(Form Name).
I want to display the line items twice in the same page and sub sequent pages.
Currently I am able to display line items only once.
Example:

line items 1 to 5 which are in main window.
How to achive this problem.

I had the same request for a check form in Canada. I solved it by writing the line item output into variables and print these variables in a second window. It was ~10 hours of effort, not a real nice technical solution but it worked.

1 line item in the sales order ship to different shipping address

Hi,
Our customer A have 3 different branches (meaning 3 different shipping address).
During the creation of the sales order for 1 material A, I want to ship 50pc to this customer A:
10pc to address A1
20pc to address A2
20pc to address A3
In my sales order, is there a way I just create 1 line item with the order qty 50pc for this material A, but split into 3 schedule line with 3 different ship to address?
I know there is alternate way where I create 3 different line item (with order qty 10, 20 and 20) and change the ship to address in the Item -> Partner tab. But using this method, I have to create 3 times of the same material in 1 sales order, just with the different shipping address.
I want to know is there a way I just need to create 1 line item?

Hi there,
When you have 3 different ship-to address, system will anyway create 3 different deliveries. This is coz if the header data in shipping (ship-to) is different, system will split the deliveries. Routes are different to 3 ship-to addresses & they cannot be combined in the same delivery.
So as mentioned in above thread, create 3 different line items or create different sales orders all together for different ship-to parties.

How do I read from a text file that is longer than 65536 lines and write the data to an Excel spreadsheet and have the data write to a new column once the 65536 cells are filled in a column?

I have data that is in basic generic text file format that needs to be converted into Excel spreadsheet format. The data is much longer than 65536 lines, and in my code I haven't been able to figure out how to carry over the data into the next column. Currently the conversion is done manually and generates an Excel file that has a total of 30-40 full columns of data. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No need to use nested For loops. No need for any loop anyway. You just have to use a reshape array function. The picture below shows how to proceed.
However, there may be an issue if your element number is not a multiple of the number of columns : zero value elements will be added at the end of the last column in the generated 2D array. Now the issue depends on the way you intend store the data in the Excel spreadsheet : you could convert the data as strings, replace the last zero values with empty strings, and write the whole 2D array to a file (with the .xls extension ) using the write to spreadsheet function. Only one (minimal) problem : define the number of decimal digits to be used;
or you could write the numeric array directly to a true Excel spreadsheet, using either the NI report generation tools or ActiveX commands, then replace the last elements with empty strings.
We need more input from you to decide how to solve these last questions.

Display line items in Cells of a table- Smartform

Hello All,
Can any one help me achieving the below requirement.
I have a requirement of printing invoice with a smartform. I am displaying line items from a TABLE node by looping VBRP's internal table. There are 12 cells and the 5 th cell contains a number of Dicount rates.
I am displaying these discount rates from LOOP node by looping KONV's internal table within that CELL. The 7 th Cell has got 2 values which are required to be: one aligned to the TOP right corner of the cell and the other to the bottom right side of the cell.
Now the issue description is:
CELL-5: Contains unknown number of values for display within the cell to be positioned as MIDDLE justified for an item(POSNR) of the main item table.
CELL-7: Contains two fixed values :KWERT to be at Top right of the CELL-7and NETWR at the bottom right of CELL-7
I have managed to display the sub items in CELL-5 in the middle by giving values to SPACE BEFORE/SPACE AFTER sections of PARAGRAPH FORMAT in SMART STYLE.
Requirement: Irrespective of number of sub items in CELL-5 the 2 values in CELL- 7 to be aligned as one at the top right and the other to the bottom right cell flexibly . Same applies to other items(POSNR) of MAIN VBRP item table.
The ROWS of the MAIN Table to be flexible enough to shrink the space when then are less number of subitems in   CELL-5.
Values in Cell-7 should be adjusted according to contents in CELL-5.

In cell 7 under loop node print ITAB_CELL7 values in a text. and prepare a paragragh for alingment.

While executing t.code FBL3N,the vendor code is not coming against some Assignment line items with the GL A/C4607000, some line items it is coming.
The GL A/c 4607000 is GR/IR clearing a/c.
Please let us know why this situation is happeing at the time of FBL3N.

By activating the special fields you can the vendor number, but use the new reprot called "FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New) ".
First go to SPRO> Financial Accounting (New)> General Ledger Accounting (New)--> Master Data > G/L Accounts>Line Items --> Define Special Fields for Line Item Display
Click on New Entries -
Table - BSEG - Field - LIFNR
Save. Now execute the report - FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New)
Give the gl account number and execute.
After getting the line items list from menu select --Settings --> Special Fields --> Click on New Entries --> Enter Table BSEG, Field Name LIFNR.
After this come back and execute again. It will give you the vendor number.

BeX Analyzer Aggregation - display line item and header amounts in same row

I've a requirement in which I'm looking for help.
Consider that I've one DSO with line item detail and I wish to display on a report for each line item (in the same row) the value of the header which has to be the sum of all line items for each header.
Here's an output of what should be displayed:
PO || Hdr || PO item Item Amount || PO Amount (Sum All Items/Header)
1 || 1 || 10 u20AC || 15 u20AC
1 || 2 || 5 u20AC ||15 u20AC
I've already tried to create a formula/calc key figure, using the KF "Item Amount" aggregated with exception of the "PO Hdr" Char, but it doesn't work.
I know that i can built this on the data model but I just want to be sure before that there's no way to achieve this requirement through query designer.
