Display Qualifications from Performance BSP

Hi,
I am having an issue with the link (button) - "Display Qualifications"
I am selecting this link from the BSP document_todo.htm -> BSP document of appraisal template. When I select the link, I receive an error message regarding single sign-on.
However, if I use the Free Enhancement to Add Qualification, by clicking the create icon on the BSP, I am able to view an additional pop-up with object type Q - Qualifications from a list.

Your request interested me so I gave it the old college try. There are several ways to go about this task but here's one that is fairly quick and easy.
I carefully read your description of what you need from P6. I've built a test layout using the fields that you outlined. Here's what I came up with. This should bypass the issue of having to create a P6 export. My solution is to build a customized layout in P6 and copy that info and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet.+
Open P6
Open neccessary projects & open a new layout containing these columns:
....Project, WBS,Activity ID, Activity Name, Perf. %, & (any codes or user defined codes)
Group & Sort by: Project, WBS
....*Display Options* = "Show Group Totals" & "Show Summaries Only", Choose "OK"
....*Edit*, Select, All, Copy
Open Excel
....Paste Highlighted data into your new worksheet.
Hope this helps but it's usually hard to understand exactly what you need unless I can view your data,

Displaying fields from a Z Table on CRM UI

Hello Experts
I am trying to display fields from a custom table onto a CRM UI form view.
1. I created a custom GENIL root object & Search object ie. ZCUSTOMER. & ZCUSTSEARCH
2. Tested this in the GENIL BROWSER to ensure that I could enter update values to the table and retrieve it via the search object.
3. Created a custom component ZCUSTOMER
4. Created a view with this component ZCUSTOMER using the wizard -
     Model Name - CUSTINFO
     BOL Entity - ZCUSTOMER
     No links to the custom controller or higher level objects.(as I do not want to tie this to any standard components)
Type of view - Form view
7. Created a Context node for the component controller with the same info as I did for the view.
8. Performed the binding of the view context node with the component controller context node.
9. Configured 1 field CUST_NAME to be displayed on the view.
10. Configured the run time repository to display the view.
Now the issue is..
When the view gets displayed, the field is displayed with the error "CUST_NAME not bound"
What am i missing?

Thanks for the feedback. I re-viewed the WD_CREATE_CONTEXT method of the view controller implementation class and I see the following code in there already-
method WD_CREATE_CONTEXT.
create the context
    context = cl_bsp_wd_context=>get_instance(
          iv_controller = me
          iv_type = 'ZL_ZCUSTOMER_BSPWDCOMPONEN_CTXT' ).
    typed_context ?= context.
endmethod.
Does that look right or do I need to modify it?

How to return values from a BSP page to Javascript

Hi All,
I want to call a BSP page which reads a single value from a table and returns that value I want the Javascript in the HTML code to get the value from the BSP page.
Can you kindly let me know how I can return the value from the BSP page to JavaScript.

Hi,
you need 3 elements to make the javascript code read the value in any field in the table: table´s name, line and column. This is how your code could look like:

ROW works as a counter. You have in variable valor the value of the field and can do with it what you want, perhaps display it with ALERT. I am reading the values from field 1 to n in column 4 in table TABLA1. Pay attention to the '_' in the concatenation of field´s name. The table in my BSP is very simple:

and somewhere I must call function display in my javascript code:

Display Columns from WBS and Activities in the same Report

Does anyone know how to display Columns from a WBS and an Activity together so that they can be output to Excel?
I need WBS Code, Actual Start, Actual Finish and Performance % Complete from the WBS and Activity Codes from Activities.
I can produce them in a report but this gives me all the activities in a heirarchical format which then necessitates deleting the activity lines in Excel
The Performance % complete which I want is available in Activities at the Summary Level but the Activity Codes are not at this level
I could put the Activity Codes in as Project Codes at the WBS level but this will require a lot of maintenance
Maybe someone knows an easy way to do this?

Calling an ABAP WebDynpro Popup from a BSP view

I need to know if the following is possible.
I have a requirement to call an ABAP WebDynpro Popup from a BSP view.
When the Popup is triggered (eg via pushbutton) the BSP will pass data to the Popup, before the Popup is closed the Popup will pass data back to the BSP to be displayed in the BSP view.
I do not want to rely on Portal Events as Portals may not be used, would really appreciate a clean simple solution.

Short dump MESSAGE_TYPE_X in displaying data from BPC Virtualcube

Hi Experts,
I am experiencing an error when try to display data from a BPC VirtualProvider Infocube (both from Workbench and with LISTCUBE transaction).
This kind of virtualcube is auto generated by BPC.
When I do some kind of selection I obtain this error: MESSAGE_TYPE_X
Short text of error message:
System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form CHECK_KHANDLE (see long text)
Technical information about the message:
Message class....... "BRAIN"
Number.............. 299
Variable 1.......... "SAPLRRK0"
Variable 2.......... "CHECK_KHANDLE"
I have another BPC vitualprovider and this doesnu2019t happen.
I would use this cube inside a multiprovider, that has a BI cube too, and get the data through a BEx query. But the query throws the error and stopped.
I know that there could be problems with BPC structures (i.e. changes in tech name when transporting it), but at the moment I donu2019t see other solution to compare BI to BPC data.
I went through other posts in sdn forum for this issue, but I am not able to get the exact solution,
please help

I read the note you have indicated.
For the first note 1479393: I donu2019t have hierarchies and the error appears in a different program to what is indicated in the note. This is where terminated:
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRRK0" - in "CHECK_KHANDLE".
The main program was "GP4LQ7N6RS4RUB6HA69UREYGPKB ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 34
of the (Include) program "LRRK0F05".
Furthermore, there are no calculated measures nor members in the MDX statement, because I just try to display the data from the virtualcube.
For the second 1448691: yes, it could be a performance related problem. Indeed, when I apply stronger filters, the error doesnu2019t occur and I got the data. But the system is already patched to SAPKW70107.
So, do you have any other ideas?

Display Image from URL

I am new to BSP. I have a requirement like I need to display an image which is stored in a url. The URL will be changed depending on the document no.
Please suggest how can I display the image on BSP dynamically based on the document no? I will get the URL from a table.

You can use a variable to hold the URL type string.
Populate the url into the variable from table like

data lv_url type string.
select URL from URL_TABLE into lv_url where document_no = 'xyz'.

Same can be passed to the image source attribute

I am able to display the Page1.bsp with no problem having Page2.bsp as well on it,
But I have a radio button or a dropdown on Page2.bsp and when the event triggers it goes to the DO_HANDLE_EVENT of Page2.bsp whcih is correct but after DO_HANDLE_EVENT it does not go to DO_REQUEST of Page2.bsp and rather goes to Page1.bsp at the LOOP, by this what ever selection I did I am loosing those values.
What changes should I make so that after Do_HANDLE_EVENT of Page2.bsp it should call it's Do_Request?
I guess it might be related to the reference or something?

the flow of nested controllers is as follows:
contr1->do_request (here dispatch_input triggers data and event handling)
-->contr1->do_handle_data
-->contr2_1->do_handle_data
-->contr2_2->do_handle_data
-->contr2_3->do_handle_data
..... for all controllers in the hierarchy
-->contrXXX->do_handle_event (the controller instance where the event was triggered)
contr1->do_request continued
call view for contr1
-->contr2_1->do_request
-->contr2_2->do_request
-->contr2_3->do_request
.... for all subcontrollers called by your logic
the dispatch_input in the subcontroller does not have any effect as within the method it is checked whether the controller is a root controller or not.
In case you call the subcontroller with the same component ID's than you called them before, the same instances are reused. So if you reuse the instances and set an attribute within the instance that handled the event you should be able to "remember" the values.
Another option is to write the event back either to the application class or to the parent controller (is available via attribute m_parent) and hand it back over to the controller during the calling loop.

How to call a BSP from another BSP?

Hi All,
I've created a BSP for hiring new employees. I have a situation whereby when the user presses a button a pop window will be displayed listing all the positions in the company. The user selects the correct position, which then populates an input box on the originating page and the pop up window closes.
This pop up window is a page in another bsp which goes off and gets the positions and stores the selection in a cookie.
Now my problem is how do i call this 'get postions' bsp from my originating bsp?
I've tried using the <%@ include file="/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z_hr_org_model"%> but i get the error only page fragments can be included.
So how do i call one bsp from another??

The only difference in your case is, you need to call the popup from different BSP Application.
To do that, just add the full path when you call the document.open..
For example,
document.open("/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z_hr_org_model/main.do", ............)

You want to display 1 or 2 language in SAP system?
If 2 language, you may login to SAP system by different language.
If is only 1 language. then you can translate the Finnish to English at outside SAP system.

And there may be, but you won't likely find that here. Do some time searching Google and maybe you'll find code that someone was nice enough to make freely available, although I wouldn't count on it. Were i a programmer and took the time to read those docs and write the code, I'd want to be paid for my time. But there are a lot of programmers who swear by freeware! You may get lucky.

Displaying jpegs from folder

Hi,
I would like to display jpegs from a folder, and be able to somehow scroll through them?
So far i have been able to display them by using listfolder and linking it to a for loop containing readjpeg, but this basically creates a slideshow of jpegs. I would like to control which jpeg is being displayed by having 2 buttons, one to go through the pictures, and one to go backwards. .
I hope this makes sense, I'm new to LabVIEW.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Issue with display data from infoset

Dear Experts,
When I am trying to display data from BI INFOSET in (Execute in background ctrl+F2)backend it is working fine but when in try to run the execution in forground (execute F8) then the system gets hang.. and time out. could any one has this kind of experience. if so kindly let me know do i need to implement any patch or else which way i can do work to resolve this issue.

Is it possible that the problem comes from R/3 since when I check the extractor 0FI_GL_40 with the RSA3 Tcode I've got the message:
Errors occurred during the extraction --- Message no. RJ012
I think that the pb has been solved by switching on the business function "Reporting Financials" . Inthe SAP source System -> TA: SFW5. Turn on Reporting Financials. Then I've no pb while testing the extractor.
Pb solved.
