Displaying a table 30rows(users) by 10 colums(jobs) for cfdocument

I have to print a grid/table (not cfgrid) of jobs along the
x-axis(horizontal) and users along the y-axis(vertical).
Can someone show me how to make a table which will display 30
users along the y-axis and 10 jobs along the x-axis knowing there
are unlimited of each?
10 x 30 for unlimited users and jobs. The end result is to
use cfdocument and make a printable pdf of the table.
Many thanks,
Kiley

This will depend upon your query result set, but
You will need to use
<cfoutput query="" group="Job">

  • Populate and display internal table results using search help exit...

    I have copied F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE and made changes. I want this search help exit to populate and display contents related to 'FIELD1' when the user enters a specific value for it in the search help screen, meaning when the user restricts the search by that value.  For field2, field3, field4, field5, field6, field7, and field8 I am using a custom view.
    Following is the code:

  • DISPLAY UNDEFINE TABLES IN SQL PLUS

    i am using Oracle 10g
    for last 1 week i seen unrecognized table names in my user while i issue following command
    SQL > select * from tab;
    table name like ......BIN$ and many other characters after it...
    i cannot drop that table also
    from DBA studio above table can't view but from SQL PLUS it display as table
    what i have to do to drop such tables ? please give advice

    These are recyclebin tables. A normal 'drop table' command puts a table into the recyclebin, you can get it back through 'flashback drop' command. Use 'purge user_recyclebin' to delete the tables finally.

  • How to display internal table content to table control

    hi experts
            I am very new to dialog programming
            I have the Internal table in a report program containing data that needs to be displayed in table  control.
          Can you explain in step by step.
         Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Rajaram

    Hi Raja
    Dialog-driven programs, or any program started using a transaction code, are known as SAP transactions, or just transactions. The term "transaction" is used in several different contexts in the IT world. In OLTP (Online Transaction Processing), where several users are working in one system in dialog mode, the term "transaction" stands for a user request. In conjunction with database updates, it means a change in state in the database.
    Programs with type M can only be started using a transaction code, in which an initial screen is defined. Programs with type 1 can be started either using a transaction code, or by entering the program name in one of the transactions SE38 or SA38. Screens call dialog modules in the associated ABAP program from their flow logic. Type M programs serve principally as containers for dialog modules, and are therefore known as module pools. Type 1 programs, or function modules can also switch to dialog mode by calling screens using the CALL SCREEN statement. The program code of the corresponding executable program or function pool must then contain the corresponding dialog modules.
    Programs that are partially or wholly dialog-driven cannot be executed in the background. They are therefore sometimes referred to as dialog programs.
    <u><b>Transaction code</b></u>
    The transaction code starts a screen sequence. You create transaction codes in the Repository Browser in the ABAP Workbench or using Transaction SE93. A transaction code is linked to an ABAP program and an initial screen. As well as using a transaction code, you can start a screen sequence from any ABAP program using the CALL SCREEN statement.
    <u><b>Screens</b></u>
    Each dialog in an SAP system is controlled by one or more screens. These screens consist of a screen mask and its flow logic. Since the flow logic influences the program flow, screens are sometimes referred to as "dynamic programs". You create screens using the Screen Painter in the ABAP Workbench. Each screen belongs to an ABAP program.
    The screen has a layout that determines the positions of input/output fields and other graphical elements such as checkboxes and radio buttons. The flow logic consists of two parts:
    Process Before Output (PBO). This defines the processing that takes place before the screen is displayed.
    Process After Input (PAI). This defines the processing that takes place after the user has chosen a function on the screen.
    All of the screens that you call within an ABAP program must belong to that program. The screens belonging to a program are numbered. For each screen, the system stores the number of the screen which is normally displayed next. This screen sequence can be either linear or cyclic. From within a screen chain, you can even call another screen chain and, after processing it, return to the original chain. You can also override the statically-defined next screen from within the dialog modules of the ABAP program.
    <u><b>GUI status</b></u>
    Each screen has a GUI status. This controls the menu bars, standard toolbar, and application toolbar, with which the user can choose functions in the application. Like screens, GUI statuses are independent components of an ABAP program. You create them in the ABAP Workbench using the Menu Painter.
    <b><u>ABAP Program</u></b>
    Each screen and GUI status in the R/3 System belongs to one ABAP program. The ABAP program contains the dialog modules that are called by the screen flow logic, and also process the user input from the GUI status. ABAP programs that use screens are also known as dialog programs. In a module pool (type M program); the first processing block to be called is always a dialog module. However, you can also use screens in other ABAP programs, such as executable programs or function modules. The first processing block is then called differently; for example, by the runtime environment or a procedure call. The screen sequence is then started using the CALL SCREEN statement.
    Dialog modules are split into PBO modules and PAI modules. Dialog modules called in the PBO event are used to prepare the screen, for example by setting context-specific field contents or by suppressing fields from the display that are not needed. Dialog modules called in the PAI event are used to check the user input and to trigger appropriate dialog steps, such as the update task.
    <b><u>Passing Data Between ABAP Programs and Screens</u></b>
    How are fields from ABAP programs displayed on the screen? And how is user input on the screen passed back to the ABAP program? Unlike in list programming, you cannot write field data to the screen using the WRITE statement. Instead, the system transfers the data by comparing the names of screen fields with the names of the ABAP fields in the program. If it finds a pair of matching names, the data is transferred between the screen and the ABAP program. This happens immediately before and immediately after displaying the screen.
    <u><b>
    Field Attributes</b></u>
    For all screen fields of a dialog screen, field attributes are defined in the Screen Painter. If a field name in the screen corresponds to the name of an ABAP Dictionary field, the system automatically establishes a reference between these two fields. Thus, a large number of field attributes for the screen are automatically copied from the ABAP Dictionary. The field attributes together with data element and domain of the assigned Dictionary field form the basis for the standard functions the screen executes in a dialog (automatic format check for screen fields, automatic value range check, online help, and so on).
    <u><b>Error Dialogs</b></u>
    Another task of the screen processor is to conduct error dialogs. Checking the input data is carried out either automatically using check tables of the ABAP Dictionary or by the ABAP program itself. The screen processor includes the error message into the received screen and returns the screen to the user. The message may be context-sensitive, that is, the system replaces placeholders in the message text with current field contents. In addition, only fields whose contents is related to the error and for which a correction may solve the error can accept input. See also Messages on Screens.
    <b>
    <u>Data Consistency</b></u>
    To keep data consistent within complex applications, ABAP offers techniques for optimizing database updates that operate independent of the underlying database and correspond to the special requests of dialog programming. See also Programming Database Updates.

    Just bought a used Oct '13 MacBook Pro and I can't sign into the App Store as it still displays the old owners user ID in the login box (in fixed grey text). Any ideas of how I what I could do? Thanks.

    The first thing you should do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. How you do that depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
    1. You don't own another Mac.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. If you don't have the media, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
    To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    2. You do own another Mac.
    If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
    Once booted from the disc, the USB device, or Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
    After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
    You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
    If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
    If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it under your ID. In that case, contact iTunes Support.

  • ShowPrintablePageBehavior displays empty table

    Hi,
    I am using jdev 11g.
    I have a sample JSPX page with af:table that displays value from managed bean.
    So far so good but when i added the "showPrintablePageBehavior" the page displays the table with the correct number of rows but the data is not shown.
    I tried different solution and came up with this case:
    1- the table is rendered but the columns are empty when the column is a link
    <af:column align="right" >
    <af:commandLink action="#{DsbFilterGroupValManagerBean.editWithoutGo}">
    <f:param name="id" value="#{itm.id}"/>
    <af:outputText value="#{itm.description}" styleClass="AFPromptText"
    inlineStyle="#{itm.id eq DsbFilterGroupValManagerBean.managed.id ? 'font-weight:bold;' : 'font-weight:normal;'}" />
    </af:commandLink>
    </af:column>
    2- the table is rendered and the columns are displayed correctly
    <af:column align="right" >
    <af:outputText value="#{itm.description}" styleClass="AFPromptText"
    inlineStyle="#{itm.id eq DsbFilterGroupValManagerBean.managed.id ? 'font-weight:bold;' : 'font-weight:normal;'}" />
    </af:column>
    Tried to change font and color of link but same result.
    Any Hints

    Hi John,
    Actually the print behavior removes all commands so thats why my table was empty.
    I tried a workaround which is based on popup and using user defined CSS class to hide objects from print by adding stylclass to the command component that i wanted to hide.

  • URGENT : Display Page To Public Users

    Hi,
    I'm working with PL/SQL PDK on portal 9.0.4.
    For my process, I need to be able to check the 'Display Page To Public Users' checkbox on the Access tab of a page properties. I don't find how it is possible to perform it.
    I see the field ispublic on table wwpob_page$ but I will not modify this directly. I would like to use the API.
    The same could be interesting for the inherit access settings from template.
    Thanks,
    Eddy.

    Hi,
    I want to achieve exactly the same, but I fear using the "wwpob_api_page" API, since I think it's an internal ORACLE API and hence not a good basis for any long term development, due to possible future changes, etc...
    Is there any way to do the same using a public, supported API? For example: "wwsec_api" or "wwsbr_api"?
    Thanks in advance and happy new year!

    Can some one please guide me on this.

    Hi Priyanka,
    First, which table are you referring to.  If your fist APP run clears the line item, it will no longer be available in the open item.
    Please be more specific on the problem so that we can try to help you.  If possible, please provide screenshots.

  • How to get the Number of lines displayed in  table control in bdc

    Hi,
    when we write a  bdc for a standard transaction, if we encounter a table control, we fill the values for each record like field(01), and the second record field(02) .......and so on..
    if only 3 records are displayed in the screen and if we have 5 records to be filled in the table control, how to write the logic for that?
    how to track of how many lines are getting displayed in the table control .. again it depends on the screen resolution i think..
    useful answers will be rewarded

    Hi,
    Here is the solution code for this :-
    data for controlling paging on screen 0102
    DATA: W_MAXLINES(2) TYPE N,
    W_NEXT_LINE(3) TYPE N,
    W_PAGE(1), "y = page forward, n otherwise
    W_SCRLEN(2) TYPE I,
    W_SCRLINE(2) TYPE I.
    DATA: BEGIN OF W_HDR.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE D020S.
    DATA: END OF W_HDR.
    DATA: BEGIN OF W_FLD OCCURS 100.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE D021S.
    DATA: END OF W_FLD.
    DATA: BEGIN OF W_LOG OCCURS 20.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE D022S.
    DATA: END OF W_LOG.
    DATA: BEGIN OF W_MC OCCURS 20.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE D023S.
    DATA: END OF W_MC.
    DATA: BEGIN OF W_DYNPRONAME,
    PROGRAM(8) VALUE 'SAPMM60X',
    DYNPRO(4) VALUE '0102',
    END OF W_DYNPRONAME.
    FORM GET_MAX_LINES.
    set w_maxlines to the number of var-loop occurrences on the screen so
    that we know when to page forward on screen 0102
    also initialise w_next_line to zero for GET_NEXT_LINE
    this subroutine caters for all cases - including screens without loops
    CLEAR: W_MAXLINES,
    W_NEXT_LINE.
    IMPORT DYNPRO W_HDR
    W_FLD
    W_LOG
    W_MC
    ID W_DYNPRONAME.
    LOOP AT W_FLD WHERE LTYP EQ 'L'.
    MOVE W_FLD-LINE TO W_SCRLINE. "first var-loop line
    MOVE W_FLD-LBLK TO W_SCRLEN. "depth of loop block
    EXIT.
    ENDLOOP.
    IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0
    AND W_SCRLEN NE 0.
    sy-srows = total no of lines on screen
    w_scrline = actual first line of loop so that
    w_scrline - 1 = number of heading lines (before loop)
    4 = no of lines at top of screen - command line, pushbuttons, 2 ulines
    3 = no of lines after loop - uline & Page count
    w_scrlen = no of lines in loop block
    w_maxlines = sy-srows - ( wscrline - 1 ) - 4 - 3
    and then 1 less but not sure why!
    W_MAXLINES = SY-SROWS - W_SCRLINE - 1 - 4 - 3.
    W_MAXLINES = W_MAXLINES - 1.
    W_MAXLINES = W_MAXLINES DIV W_SCRLEN.
    ELSE.
    MOVE 99 TO W_MAXLINES. "this required if no screen loop
    ENDIF.
    ENDFORM.
    FORM GET_NEXT_LINE.
    set w_page if page forward is required
    W_NEXT_LINE = W_NEXT_LINE + 1.
    IF W_NEXT_LINE GT W_MAXLINES.
    W_NEXT_LINE = 1.
    W_PAGE = 'Y'.
    ELSE.
    W_PAGE = 'N'.
    ENDIF.
    ENDFORM.
    Hope it helps.
    reward if helpful.

  • Display Currency Value of User POV for Entity & Value in Text Box (Header)

    I am looking for a function in Financial Reporting Studio that operates the same as the HsCurrency function in Smart View. This would allow batch reports displaying the currency value of the User POV for Entity based on the User POV for Value. Right now I have to have Member Lists for separate reports and different currencies as I am only able to display the Value dimension in the heading of a given report. Users will not be certain of the currency if the Value dimension is <Entity Curr Total>.
    I tried the HFMCurrency text function, however the entity is not defined in a Row / Column / Page reference as the entity is determined by the User's Point of View.
    Is there a way to display the currency value of a User's Point of View for Entity based on the User's Point of View for Value?
    Reference from Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office, Fusion Edition, User's Guide:
    HsCurrency
    Data sources: Financial Management, Hyperion Enterprise
    HsCurrency retrieves the currency value of the specified dimension member. Entity and Value are the only valid members for the HsCurrency function.
    Syntax
    HsCurrency (“Connection,Entity;Value”)
    Example
    In this example, HsCurrency retrieves the entity currency where the currency for the East Sales entity is USD, and the currency for the UKSales entity is GBR. The EastSales entity displays USD, and UKSales displays GBR.
    HsCurrency(“Comma”,”Entity#EastRegion.EastSales;Value#<Entity Currency>.”)
    HsCurrency(“Comma”,”Entity#EastRegion.UKSales;Value#<Entity Currency>.”)

  • How to display a table after clicking on a chart in ssrs?

    Hi all experts,
    I need to display a table control after clicking on a chart.
    I was looking for the visibility property of the table which can be set based upon click on the bar chart.
    Please respond asap...

    Hi Manisha,
    If I understand correctly, you want to control the table visibility through clicking the chart. In this case, please refer to the detailed steps below:
    1. Create the parameter named Control, check the Boolean option in the drop-down list of the Data Type, and select Hidden in the parameter visibility tab.
    2. Specify the default value of the parameter to True.
    3. Click the series in the chart and select “Action” in the Properties pane and click the ellipsis as follows:
    4. Select the “Go to report” tab, and select the self-report in the “Specify a report” tab.
    5. Pass the parameter as bellows:
      Name:Control  Vaule:false
    6. Right click the table control, select Tablix Properties and select the Visiblity property.
    7. Select the tab of Show or hide based on an expression, and add the expression below:
    =iif(Parameters!Control.Value=true,true,false)
    If you need more assistance, please feel free to let me know.
