Displaying unit's text of a fixed unit keyfigure?

Dear folks,
Does anyone knows how I can show text of unit of a key figure which is fixed unit? All I could do was only showing the key (3digits), but the requirement requires us to show the text of the unit too (or at least techical text which is 6 digits).

Dear Phaendin,
I guess that you are talking about the unit of measurement (UoM) which is shown together with key figure values.
As far as I know there is no way to change the format of that information. But there is a work around. You can add UoM as a characteristic to your query and include it in your workbook as an additional row or column. As for every characteristic you can change the display format.

When working in the design view in a text block the cursor shows in one spot but the code view show it is over a few characters so you have a real hard time editing text in that mode. How do you fix this. I have had this issue in several version of DW I am in 5 now.

How can I connect my MBA 11" 2012 to my Imac 21.5" mid 2010 as a display unit. Connected using a mini display port cable and this did not work. Any guidance welcome. Thanks. John

I bought a belkin mini display unit cable( new) and connected the thunderbolt port in the MBA ( 11" , mid 2012) to the Imac mini display unit port using this cable. Pressed the CMD & F2 keys on the Imac keyboard as required but this did not work. Should I try with another cable ? Should i try with a thunderbolt cable ( recommended by appple support ) -- but they too were not sure about this. Is the Mid 2010 21.5" Imac not able to function as an display unit? Any guidance would help and will be much appreciated.

Only the 27-inch iMac and Mid 2011 and newer iMacs can be used as an external screen, so you can't use your Mac as an external screen. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11302
You can still use your iMac as an external display, using an application like ScreenRecycler

I don't think it is possible to have both non-unit and unit in the same kf.
One potential workaround to do this is to create a calculated key figure/ formula that use the NODIM function for single values. Example: NODIM(0AMOUNT). Then, create a calculated key figure/formula that computes overall result on the same kf and supresses individual values but does not use NODIM....perhaps this can help you work out a solution.

Caller display units

Hi
I have a caller display 1000 unit, taking the back cover off ready to change batteries, several jumped out and as a consequence, having replaced batteries It no longer shows a display ??/
Any suggetsions please ?
ALSO Does anyone sell caller display units anymore ? BT seem to have discontinued everything ?

Loads on Ebay but make sure the battery contacts are clean in the right way round and note some batteries seem to have a longer outer case than they used to have and make good contact hard,

Not waking up from sleep whilst back of display unit getting very very hot.

I have had my first mac now for just 6 months, over the last 6 weeks or so it has intermittently failed to wake up when it goes to sleep for prolonged periods of time i.e striking keyboard, moving the mouse or pressing the power button. As well as this the back of the display unit is getting extremely hot to the touch. The only way to resolve this problem is to pull the power cord and let the display unit cool down before it will switch back on again which can take a couple of hours.
Has anyone else experienced or is experiencing this problem.

have you tried to just let it wake up? I had an issue (similar) were the MBP would be asleep, I would mouse the mouse or hit a key to wake it and it would sound like its waking up but the screen was blank. I would either close the lid or just power down. One time I just let it sit and with in a few minutes it came on and the frequency got further apart.
but I haven't have any real issues since 10.5.2 and a few other updates.

hi, after implementing new sps we found out problem with displaying unit by quantity keyfigures, we are on SAPKW70020. When I execute query I find following:

Instead of unit there is 11.520 ***

these r the main reasons pls can u look it,
1)may correct field is not assigen to the unit ok if ur assigend correct one only may multiple units will be there(like kg,to,ea) at that time in query properties u should not slect the displsy scaling factors for keyfiguresthen it shows all unit measures.
2)if u donot want the units along with quantity then u create the CKF for that keyfigure ,in datafunctions there is a function NODIM(ur keyfigure)and save that cKF and kep that CKF instead of kf.

New document - changing the displayed unit in width/height?

Sorry for this basics question relating to InDesign CS5...
When creating a new document, with a custom size, the default size is showing as XXp00 - I don't know what the 'p' means nor it's relation to other units such as cm or mm.
Is there a way for the default to be cm, or mm?

XXpYY is the established convention for displaying picas (6th of an inch) and points (12th of a pica). 3p0 is 3 picas,0 points, or half an inch. 13p6 is 13 picas, 6 point, or 2.25 inches.
You can type any units you like in any dialogue or panel and InDesign will handle the conversion to the currently displayed units. If you want a page 14 inches wide, just type 14" and InDesign will accept that and display it as 84p0.
You cannot change the default units while a modal dialogue (like New Document) is open. You can change the default units in Preferences. You can also change the displayed units in the current document by right-clicking on the ruler. Each ruler remembers its own units, so either change the units for both rulers or right-click on the intersection of the rulers at the top left of the window.

Generally the interfacing end of the DAQ cards will have to be connected to the connector block where you pins exposed wherein you can connect the sensors. In your case, make a mating connector to the lemo and connect the free end to the connector block which is connected to the DAQ

BT Call Reminder Display Units Clashing ( BT260690...

Hi there. At last i have been able to post this message !! I have recently signed up for the Caller Display service but not the 1571 (i have an ansaphone). I then bought two Display units (Code. BT 260690 ) from the internet.
If i connect 1 unit to 1 phone it works fine with an occasional check for messages after the phone has been used, but if i connect the 2nd unit to a 2nd phone BOTH units are frequently checking for messages and while this is happening my phone line is engaged.
I have spoken to the BT Help Techs and they tell me that i should be able to use multiple units without a problem. However their only suggestion was to fit a Filter on the 2nd phone (which made no difference).
My Broadband is connected to an ADSL V10 Master Socket which does away with the need for seperate filters on the phones.
My system had the new master socket fitted about 6 months ago and the wireing was checked then so there should not be a problem with my set up. BT has offered to send an Engineer at my expence but i thought it might be worth trying the Forum to see if anyone has had a similar problem and may be a solution.

Display the all text entered for all folder at Item and Header level of PO

I have the task like the following :
In a PO there are text folders available at Header and Item level. I want POs with type Purchasing document type u2018ZFu2019 ( First Article PO ) should display all the texts entered into any of these folders either at Header level or Item level during print preview and PO output like Purchasing document type u2018NBu2019 ( Standard PO ).
u2022 The technical information relating above subject ( SAPScript ):
o The layout set ( form ): ZPCC_PURCHOR_STD
o Print program : SAPLMEDRUCK
u2022 The problems like the following :
o I found out the differences in debugging of 2 types of Purchasing document type u2018ZFu2019 and u2018NBu2019 .
o Only Purchasing document type u2018NBu2019 the print program processes Text Elements (HEADER_TEXT, ITEM_TEXT, SUPPL_TEXT) to display all the texts entered into any of these folders either at Header level or Item level.
o To control the displaying of Text Elements as I know I need a print program, however, our print program is standard print program of SAP system in this case. So I can not make any changes there.
Do we have the configuration place to this one.

I advise to use the subroutine pool as your sapscript is the bespoke one ( Z one) . So you can make use of the below pseudo code.

Importing from Eudora problems - html messages being displayed in plain text and problems with attachments

Hello,
I hope you can help me. I've imported all my emails from Eudora into Outlook 2010 but I have a couple of problems.
All emails that I've imported which had attachments with them have a notice on them saying the attachment has been blocked. I can always browse to the folder whereb my old attachments are stored, but this is still inconvenient.
Secondly, all my messages that I've sent in the past (html) are being displayed in plain text, which is making them difficult to read because of all the html tags being displayed.
Also with emails that I've sent in the past- there is no record of any attachments being sent with messages which I know had attachments with them.
Any ideas? I've trawled google and had no luck except finding programs that cost $70 that can import everything properly.

I know this is a very old thread, but did you every figure out a way to fix the formatting of imported Eudora mail?
I just "upgraded" from Eudora to Outlook 2010 ...
and have 10 years worth of HTML formatted e-mail that now shows up as plain text with embedded html formatting ...
apparently it is a long-running problem that has roots in the way Eudora formats messages ...
Outlook and other e-mail clients all seems to have issues with importing and do not properly recognize HTML-formatted messages from Eudora ... very sad that I can no longer really "read" my old e-mail at this point ... :-(

How to get data from list of values (LOV) to be displayed in a text field ?

Hi guys,
I am very new to Oracle APEX so please spare me if it is a silly question. How can I get the selected values from a set of list of values (LOV) displayed in a text field (or text area or so) ? Fox example, in my form I create 4 items: STATE, COUNTY, STREET, ZIPCODE and all of them are LOV (list of values). I also create 2 buttons (ADD & REMOVE). Then I create a test field (or text area name SELECTED RECORD). Now here is what I want to do with my form:
When I set the values for all 4 fields, I will click on the ADD button then I want those values be displayed in the text field.
For example, if the selected values are:
STATE = Alabama
COUNTY = Abbeville
STREET= 1 Street
ZIPCODE = 36310
And the ADD button is pressed. Then in the text field I want it displays like this:
Alabama,Abbeville,1 Street,36310
If I choose other values and click ADD again, a new line will be added into the text fields (text area). If I click the REMOVE button, then it will clear those two line in the text field.
Would it be possible to do it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you can live with the page being submitted and refreshed, make your ADD button do a submit with a request value of ADD and make your REMOVE button do a submit with a request value of REMOVE.
Then create two computations (one firing with a condition of Request = ADD and the other firing with a condition of Request = REMOVE).
In the ADD one, concatenate the values together into the text area (most likely a PL/SQL computation wiill be what you want). In the REMOVE one, set it to null with a PL/SQL computation.
If you want it done without submitting the page, make the buttons each do a redirect to a URL but instead you will have to write two short javascript functions in the page HTML header to manipulate the field values. Each button would call each javascript function in an onclick event.

If you want you can display this long text field in ALV but the allignment of the ALV not looks good. so generally we won't display them in the output,
instead, in the interactive list write the code to call that MM03 transaction, and the user can see that text in the transaction when ever double clicked on that MATERIAL field.

How Do I Display HTML Formatted Text From A Data Table In Crystal Reports?

I'm creating reports in Crystal XI. The information being displayed in the reports comes from data tables where the text is formatted in HTML.
I've worked with Crystal Reports enough to know that HTML text pulled from a data table doesn't appear in Crystal the same way it does in a web browser. Crystal Reports ignores all the tags (...unless I'm missing something...) and just displays the text.
Someone far more Crystal savy than I (...who I don't have access to...) came up with a Formula Field workaround that tricks Crystal Reports into displaying some basic HTML tags. Here's that workaround:
