Disputer suddenly stop after copy SQL data
i had a problem doing a R3 copy from an old server to a new server. The old server currently running on 4.7x200 sr1 and sql 2000(SP3) on window 2000 server and the new server are using window 2003 server with the same SAP version (i want the new server to be same level of application with the old server because its easier for me to migrate the data) using the exact schema configuration (SAPSID and DB instance) before i can upgrade it to ECC 6.0.When i copied the data to the new server, i can see the old data on SQL Server Enterprise and when i run the SAPmgmt, theres only 2 component that still running except for the disp+work.Here's the error that i get when i open the log in the dev_w7 file :

Serverside recording suddenly stops
I've implemented a serverside script that records the current stream to disk. This record method is called from another clientside flash application.
On some occasions the recording suddenly stops after a few hours without giving any errors, and without there being any network dropouts (Flash Media Encoder doesn't report any dropouts).
What can be the cause of this, and what can I do to make the recording more stable?

The problem was that the recording stream was being assigned to a variable inside the function (that starts the recording) is enough to start the recording. But, within a few minutes, the variable would get garbage collected. This would make the recording to abruptly stop with no status notifications or error messages.
To fix the issue, just put the variable inside of a global object, say,
var recordingStreamReference = Stream.get("recording");
strMaps[recordingStreamName] = recordingStreamReference;
where strMaps is the global variable (Object), recordingStreamName is just a unique name for the recording, and the recordingStreamReference is the variable that has the recording stream. Based on your main.asc file, I'm not sure how the application.clients[i].livestream was working, but no harm in trying an explicit global variable, right?

AirPlay on express stops after a few hours
I have noticed lately that when I am streaming music to the speakers that are connected to my express that the music suddenly stops after a few hours. It's done this a few times now, and every time I have to unplug it to reset it and it works again. Is there a setting I missed out on when I set up the express? Or is it a setting in iTunes that meters how long music can be streamed?

My iPhone 4 suddenly stopped synching to my Outlook 2010. This may be a result of downloading the recent iPhone and iTunes updates. I get this message: "iTunes unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try later." Another message tells me to delete the back up data on my computer as it is corrupted. I cannot locate this back up data. What should I do?

Could you try putting in the sqlite3_close() call and see if you still get the error?
Did you remove the __db.* files from the SourceDB_912_1.db-journal directory?
Did you use PRAGMA synchronous, and if so, what is the value you set?
If this is still an issue for you, please describe in more detail the exact steps needed to get this reproduced and provide a simple stand-alone test case program that reproduces it.

My Kindle app suddenly stopped working on my iPhone 4s. All my software is up to date and I have restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still opens and shuts down instantly. Any ideas?
We need clarification here.
Please don't just state version numbers, also state which software. iTunes 10.7 requires OSX 10.6.8 or higher. Leopard is OSX 10.5.8. You have two alternatives right now. One is to stay with Leopard for a while (ultimately you should upgrade) and install iTunes 10.6.3 which is the last version to work with Leopard. This should work with iOS6 on an iPhone4. The other is to call Apple and order OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and upgrade the computer to 10.6.8 which will allow you to run iTunes 10.7. The caveat is we know nothing about which computer you run and if it even can run any system higher than Leopard.

If you want to try upgrading:
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About this Mac" and "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). If it says something about Intel or Core Duo or Core 2 Duo in the processor you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (assuming you have sufficient RAM/"memory"). If it says PPC or PowerMac, you cannot.

I'm running OS X 10.6.8-Why is Time Machine all of a sudden backing up 250GB of data after 2 years of perfect service? I have not added, deleted, or upgraded anything.
USB 3.0 drives work on USB 2.0 but you do get 2.0 speed. They are cheaper because they are popular PC drives. If you get a new computer you'll get the bump to 3.0 speed.
I like the Seagate USB 3.0 Backup plus drives. They come formatted for PC but easy to format in Disk Utility. Seagate Backup Plus Right now the 1T is more than the 2 & 3T drives

Locally, Best Buy seems to have the best prices.

Format new drives with Apple's Disk Utility rather than the software that come with the drive.
My plan was to rid a lot of the stuff I have on my computer (to a hard drive) anyhow once it had backed up.
I wound't necessarily backup those files to Time Machine. I would copy to the external drive then delete from computer. Only backup to Time Machine the data you would want to restore to your Mac if there was a problem. The backup will go much faster this way. Time Machine backup is slower than just copying data in my experience. -
My bluetooth suddenly stopped working soon after I upgraded to OS 10.9.4. I rebooted SMC, didn't work. Any other ideas? Don't know if it's related to the upgrade. I see other complaints about bluetooth in the thread but none of the solutions offered there have worked for me.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider. You may have to leave the machine there for several days.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.
If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed. -

Ever since I updated to iOS7 my iphone5 iMessages suddenly stop working, I have to restart my phone for it to work again. This happens about 5 times a day! Anyone know how I can fix this it is getting ridiculous!
Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software.
If this does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step.

UCCX 10.1 - Linked Server - Copying HR data to external SQL Server for reporting
I have a customer that is migrating from UCCX 7 to UCCX 10. They currently have a 2008 SQL Server R2 that they use for custom reports. They have a package that runs nightly to copy relevant data from UCCX 7 to the their server and then run reports daily against that database. Pretty easy when everything is in MS SQL. My plan was to set up a linked server in SQL 2008 to the UCCX server. This would allow me to easily run a query against Informix and move the data over as before. However, I am having problems adding the linked server.
I have installed the Informix drivers (both 32 and 64 bit) during the troubleshooting.
The DSN is created and connects to UCCX just fine.
When I attempt to add the linked server using 64 bit driver DSN I get the following:

Note that the server name is "fonccx9-01", but the dash is an illegal character in the server name, so you have to change that to an underscore. You still have to manually build the ODBC data source on the box where you are trying to create the linked server. -

All of a sudden I have a weird issue with playing video-files added to my iTunes library after a specific date.
This is the situation so far:
I encode the video for iTunes with the same settings for the last 3 years. I know these vids play on all my devices. AppleTV & iPad. All of a sudden videos added to my library after the 8th of september aren't playable on my AppleTV and iPad. I can play them directly in iTunes and by accessing them directly via the finder and quicktime.
The following errors occur:
When I pull the video from iTunes on my AppleTV.. the video simply doesn't play.
When I pull the video from iTunes on my iPad I get a message that the file can't be found.
When I push the video from iTunes to the AppleTV using airplay I get a message that there has occured an error while connecting to the AirPlay-device "Apple TV". The necesary file could not be found. In addition when the AppleTV is switched off it doesn't turn on doing this, suggesting that there is something missing on my mac itself.
All the above errors aren't popping up when I choose a video that has been put in my library before the 9th of september. Then everything works as expected.
This is what I tried:
Turning off and on home sharing on all devices including the mac.
Logging in wiht a different apple ID though using the same ID as before.
I created a new iTunes library and populated with a video that was added after the 8th of september and one that was added before the 9th of september. Surprisingly the older one played and not the newer one.. while they both used the same encoding settings. The new library was locally on my mac as my original library is on a NAS.
I encode my videos with Quicktime 7 Pro using the following settings:
H.264 (current frame rate, key-frames:automatic, re-order frames, automatic bitsize)
Medium Quality
Multi-pass
current resolution (which is always 1280 X 720)
AAC sound
44.100 kHz
128kbps
I'm using the Mountain lion 10.8.2 and iTunes 10.7 Mountain lion got updated a few days after 19th of september and iTunes i think as well. Both versions were released after this issue seemed to pop up.
I also have two video-files encoded on the same day with the same settings that dragged into the iTunes library on the 9th of september. One works.. the other doesn't.
So I wonder if there is somebody out there that can tell me what might have happened here and how I could fix this issue.

My last two iTunes purchases both HD movies on 09/17/2012 and 09/05/2012 refuse to appear on any device accessing either of the two Libraries over Home Sharing. It should be noted that every other movie (the other 78) all show up and play correctly. I therefore know it is not an issue with connectivity, otherwise I would see zero movies available.
I have:
1. Removed all content from each Library and re-added
2. Upgraded the OS on the MacMini 10.8.2
3. Tested viewing the two missing movies on other Apple devices and no luck.
4. Turn home sharing on and off within iTunes and also on each device.
It would appear to me that the issue is with the files themselves, rather than the devices as different devices and different versions have been tested.

When playing music from Ipod in my car, music suddenly stops and message appears to restore in iTunes. After a few minutes, it starts to play again. I hear a click and the apple logo shows on the screen. Any ideas??
You may need to do a Restore in iTunes.
Clicking sounds from an iPod that has a hard drive is probably not a good thing. It is possible that your iPod's hard drive is becoming unreliable. -
I have an optical mouse that came with my Mac Pro, the only thing plugged into the USB port on the keyboard. After a year of working normally, the trackball all of a sudden stopped scrolling down. It scrolls up just fine, but not down. Any thoughts?

I tried all of the suggestions, sort of. I did not have alcohol wipes, but I did take alcohol and pour some ona white paper towel and then rolled the mouse touch ball aroound and that finally cleared up the problem. Just inverting it on paper did not do the reick, it needed some help with the alcohol. Of course the probelm is the debris that gets inside and it really needs to come out.
This is a huge problem for RIM devices users too. -
My iPhone 4s has suddenly stopped making a noise to tell me new emails have arrived, this was after an ugrade to IOS 7.1.2.
It worked fine before and I didnt change anything but it just stopped dinging when I got a new email.
I have checked Settings-Sounds & Settings-Notification Centre and everything looks fine.
It worked ok a couple of weeks ago but not after the latest update - anyone know why?Thanks Lawrence
I omitted to say that it only occurs when the screen is locked - if I'm looking at something on my phone when an sms or email arrives, the phone 'notifies' me with a sound but doesnt do it when its screen is locked. Email messages and sms's (texts) still arrive but I get no sound to tell me they have.
The MUTE swith is in the correct place and I have tried resetting the phone with the Home and Sleep buttons several times, still to no avail.

i have macbook pro 13.3 inch. I am installing window 7 in boot camp manager after copying file of window upto 67% it doesn't response and i had forcely shotdown my macbook. Now my macbook doesn't open and stop in black screen with cursor blinking. Now how could i open my macbook pro.
At startup hold down the Option/Alt key and from the screen that comes up select your OS X partition to start the computer from. Then use the Boot Camp Assistant app to Remove Windows and the partition you reated for it and it will Automatically place the space you allocated for the Windows install back into the OS X partition.
NOTE:
Do NOT use Disk Utility to erase the partition that was created for the Windows install. Use the Boot Camp Assistant app again to do that.
