Distribute By Email Option

Hi,
We are currently running on BW 3.5. In the query context menu we can see an option Distibute by Email. When the users are trying to use that option emails are not getting triggered to their mail boxes. But when we are trying, we can see emails being triggered.
Any idea on what might be the reason for this?

  • Remove Email Option

    Is there a way to remove or disable the email option when you run the Distribute Form process? We currently do not want the end users to be able to email the form back.
    I tried bringing the distributed form back into Live Cycle and deleting the button, and just saving it, but that removes the rights for the user to save the form as well. I have to run it through Distribute Form again, which puts the "submit by email" back in.

    Because when I do that, it removes user rights, and they can't fill out the form and save it with the data in it. They DO need to be able to do that.
    OK, disregard this question, I figured it out. I didn't realize that I had to choose Distribute Form, but NOT actually run it. I saw that I could cancel out of it and then just go to Advanced and Extend Features in Adobe Reader.

    The "Attach to Email" option luanches outlook rather than Seamonkey, which is set to be the default mail client.  Any ideas regrding fixing this would be most appreciated.  This is Adobe Acrobat 9 PRO v. 9.0.0 running on a 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium 4.0 GB machine.

  • Can't send Excel 2007 File via Send To Email Option after Acrobat Install

    Normally, you can send an Excel 2007 file via email to someone by going to the Send option on the Excel file menu and choosing "Email." This will email an actual copy of the Excel 2007 file. However, since installing Adobe Acrobat  9 pro on my computer, this option, as well as the option to send to XPS are gone -- the only email option I have on that menu is to convert the file to a PDF and email it.
    It seems to me that Acrobat should ADD options to menus but not remove any! Does anyone know how I can get those missing options (especially the one to email the actual file itself) back? I've tried Googling up a solution, but to no avail so far.

    I saw that MS support article when I was trying to solve this issue on my own, but the solutions it proposes won't work for me -- I can't set Outlook as my email client (this is a work computer and we use Lotus Notes) and I can't muck around in the registry (again, this is a work computer). I know I can attach the Excel via the attach command in the email client, but the main thing is I don't understand why Acrobat has removed that option from the Excel menu. Also, it removed the Send to XPS option (which I don't really care about, but it bothers me because it shouldn't be deleting anything)!
    I even tried adding the Email command to the Quick Access Toolbar in Excel -- it let me add the button, but, when I click it, absolutely nothing happens.

  • Why is there no email option under site settings in the Business Catalyst Dashboard?

    I have pushed a site live, and it has propegated, and looks fine on the Internet, but there is no email option under site settings in the Business Catalyst Dashboard as the tutorial and help screen said there would be.
    The domains all look correct, and there is an MX record as well. Did email get moved to another screen, or is there something wrong in my setup?

    it says that there should be a "users" field under "Site Settings," and that is where email accounts are set up. There is not, any more than there was a "email" field as referenced in the tutorial (as you can see from the screen shot above). I can no longer correspond with Adobe, since my primary email address on file with Adobe was with the domain that was transferred to Business Catalyst.

  • Mavericks mail server stops distributing group email after a few hours of usage

    I've been having problems with our Mavericks mail server ever since our upgrade with group mail.  
    The server will distribute group email for a few hour, then it simply stops working. 
    No error message, no bounces, and the server keeps the incoming mail in its incoming queue.  
    Restarting the mail services by either server.app or serveradmin mail stop; serveradmin mail start command like  are the only way I can get it to continue to distribute the email.  I suspect it has to do with postfix itself hiccuping?  But this is a reproducable problem.
    Mail filtering is on, score set to 6, 10 mb limit, spamhaus is active.
    Looking for tips on how to stablize this service short of setting up cron job to restart the services every few hours.

    I know this is not the fix you are looking for, but it's what I had to do, so I thought I'd share.
    Hopefully, someone will be able to figure it out the "right" way!
    I created this AppleScript that will stop and start the mail service every hour.
    You can copy and paste it into AppleScript Editor, compile it and save it as an application.  You can then run it.  You need to run it from an administrator account and keep that user logged in.
    If once an hour (every 3600 seconds) is too often, just change 3600 to however many seconds you want.
    Be sure to change AdminPassword with the Admin user's actual password.

  • NVision Report not generated with email option in the Run Report page

    Hi ,
    I want to send the nvision reports through email to the users, I tried it by setting the email option in the drop down of the "Type" after giving "Run Report" and then specifying the email ids. The issue is i am getting emails , but the report is not generated which otherwise generates, and hence no attachement is seen on the email .

  • Photoshop premiere elements 13 no email option under share PC

    I created a trade show ad using photoshop elements premiere 13.  I need to email this project, yet there is no email option to choose from the list under "share"  I specified outlook as my email client and I'm using a pc.  Any help would be great. Thanks

    Premiere Elements comes with an Elements Organizer, and it is that Elements Organizer/Share that has had the Photo Mail and Email Attachments choices.
    In Elements Organizer 13/Share that comes with Premiere Elements 13, Photo Mail and Email Attachments names are gone from the list under Share and only
    "Email" is seen. Using this Email choice, you can email photos and videos as attachments. You will get a warning message if the file size exceeds 10 MB, but I have been able to send a 25 MB video, using Gmail in preferences and sending it to myself at my Gmail address. The size issue goes to the Internet provider limitations rather than the Share feature. Although the email was "successfully" sent at that size, I am still trying to verify that I will receive it.
    What I found a challenge was setting up this "Email" in preferences. With Email Clients = AOL, Gmail, Yahoo!Mail, or Microsoft Account (HotMail), there should not be any problems since the user is not asked to specify a Server Name or Port. But, if you have to go to "Other" and give those details, problems. I am going to be writing this up in my blog within the next 24 hours. The blog will have more details....most important I will write how to clear the mess after you go to Other and have a list of non working Email Profiles that refuse to delete within the preference area.
    What are the details of your situation? What Email client do you want to use? And, will an Email attachment serve your purposes.

    When they've been reset you can then use steps 1 to 7 half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • Share via email option - can more stationery be added or downloaded

    I use the share via email option quite frequently. When you get the step where you select the background stationery I'm always frustrated that there aren't more options. Case in point - Christmas background? Halloween background? Can more stationery be added or downloaded or customized? Am I the only one with this problem?

    Ok... so I'm an idiot: in Pages it works fine - I mistook the grayed out 'send via email' option for a normally clickable item, while it's just a header for the three (non-grayed-out) formats which you can send via email.
    The problem stands for Word for Mac though - I promise!

    My inbox is getting pick up notices from recipients who've accessed the links that I've sent them. I don't want or need these pick up notices filling by inbox. Where are the email options like SendNow had?
    More importantly, why did Adobe get rid of a wonderful product... I'd pay more to get the old service back!!

    I need an urgent help. My query is some what confusing so please do let me know if you need any clarification.
    What I want to do is that I am using the Oracle email option. when I perform a backup the server sends an email to all the concerned authorities. It is fine till this stage. Infact that message that I am sending in the email is a TWO row query in the database. To display this message on SQL prompt is ok as it will appear in TWO lines. But in the email these two rows appear to have concated.
    What i want to achieve is that each row should appear in separate line in the email as well. just like using the HTML tag <BR>, the next line is displayed in the next line. Is there any SQL command which I can use to solve my problem.
    I would appreciate an urgent response as I am already short of time.

    I used to declare a varchar variable for end of line like this:
    EOL VARCHAR2(10) := CHR(13) || CHR(10);
    Then I have concatenated this variable any time when I needed like this.
    'First line'||EOL||'Second line'
    Take care, email RFC specifies that a new line is composed from a carriage return a new line "\r\n", so you must use both CHR(13) and CHR(10), Oracle equivalent for \r and \n.

    I'm trying to remove the signature on my Curve 8350i and I need to do it with the Desktop Software 4.7 which came with the phone because the signature cannot be edited or deleted on the phone itself.
    The technical support says to click "email options" on the desktop software but I only have the following options...

    In cases your email signature is set on your BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) account - do the following:
    Login to you BIS site for your wireless provider. If you don't know address check this list
    Edit your email account
    Delete all text from "signature" field to remove signature from your emails.
    Save changes

    The report server e-mail delivery extension is not configured by default. You must use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to minimally configure the extension. To set advanced properties, you must edit the RSReportServer.config file. If you cannot
