Distribution criteria list for receiver weighting factors in COPA segment assessment cycle

I would like to add the product hierarchy in the distribution criteria list (transaction KEU3).
Is someone could give me the solution ?

Summ levels can be used in Assessment cycles... Your "Distribution List" tab might take time to finish...
However, I would ask you to assess your req once again... This level of allocation is more likely to cause performance issues
however, if no of docs in COPA is not much, then you need not worry
What worries me is that you cant use non-segment level chars as receivers in COPA assessment cycle.. have you specified BATCH No as segment level char in KEQ3? If yes, please undo it.. Else, you are going to face a nightmare situation

Dear Peers,
When I click the tab 'Receiver Tracing factors' of the COPA Cost Center cycles, a dialog 'Distribution criteria list' which asks for one more selection for confirming the receiver parameters. After selecting all of them, it takes very long time but in vain.
In my case, I want to allocate the selling overheads on the basis for those products with particular batch, say, which starts with say '1' by giving the range as 1AAAAAA TO 1ZZZZZZZ. This '1' denotes one of the manufacturing plants. Hence, I want to pick up the batches which have been sold across the company code in other plants as well as in depots numbering 100+. I had already created the summarization levels and now I had refreshed it but it has no effect on it. Do we need to create seperate summarization level manually for this and how? Is there any thing other than summarization, we need to do?

How to analyse the Receiver Tracing Factor in COPA Assessment cycle -KEU5

While executing the COPA Assessment cycle,we will get receiver tracing factor.My client wants to know how we got that.How can i analyse that Receiver tracing factor?Kindly advice me...
How can I recalculate the tracing factor for assesstment?
For example, Actual Assessment Cycle RS_A01 under Segment ITCMFG2AD uses Variable Portions Rule for Receiver tracing Factor with Value Field of 62 Sales.
The intent of this assessment was to be allocated based upon sales dollar values however when I review the test calculation, it appears the tracing factor is in billions of dollars when our monthly sales are in the million of dollars range.

If Receier Tracing Factor Rule is Variable Portion, then please also check the Receiver Weighting factor (the last tab in the assessment cycle, it normally is 100 for the receivers.
Secondly also check if there is different currency setting in CO Area & the Operating Concern which translates into different figures.

Difference between Receiver Tracing factors and weighting factor

I   have read sap help, but   the difference between receiver tracing factor and receiver weighting factor is still not clear.
Can u provide an example to understand it.

As far as I know, the weigh fac is meant to determine the decimal places...and Sender values tab is meant for determining the % to be allocated...
In the tab "Weigh factor", you would see a field FACTOR PER, which has the following entries
0000001 No decimal places
0000010 One decimal place
0000100 Two decimal places
0001000 Three decimal places
0010000 Four decimal places
0100000 Five decimal places
1000000 Six decimal places
By default it is 0000100 which means 2 decimals..F1 help on this field shows that
You enter 123456 as the weighting factor. Depending on the factor, this number is interpreted as:
Factor      Decimal places   Weighting factor
1                 0              123456
10                 1              12345.6
100               2              1234.56

Assessment Cycle(KSU5) - Allocating Cost for Only One Month

Hi,
I want to allocate cost relating 2008 from cost centres to WBS. For that I'm trying run the assessment cycle(ksu5). The test results shows allocation of cost for the month of Sep2008. i.e It doesn't allocate cost that are posted before sep and after september though the cost centre has costs from Apr 2008. My Assessment cycle period starts from 01.04.2008 and is valid for the whole year till 31.03.2009. I've 3 WBS elements to which the costs for the whole year has to be posted according to the no. of hours. Among 3WBS one is created in the month of Apr 2008 and the other is created in Aug 2008 and the last one is create in Dec 2008.
So Can anyone tell me why the cost is not posted for all the months.

Hi,
Please check the Cumulative indicator in the Assessment Cycle definition. If the Cycle is not cumulative then it would not include costs of earlier month for allocation.
Go to - KSU2 and in the Header screen you will find the check box called Cumulative.
While executing the cycle through KSU5 in the selection screen you will have to specify period from and period to. It will automatically consider all costs upto the period.

COPA assessment cycles for revenue postings

Dear SAP gurus,
is it possible to allocate revenues to COPA via assessment cycles (tcode KEU5)? We have service income related revenues that are not linked to COGS therefore they are posted to Cost Centers but they need to be visible in the cOPA report to have a complete profitability by product. at the moment I am not allowed as revenue are considered statistical postings... any clue how can I solve this?

I dont agree with the responses provided above.. As far as I know, statistical postings can neither be settled, nor can they be allocated
Catg 11 cost elements post statistically to Cost Centers.. Hence, you cant allocate...
For the postings made till now, Manually update COPA using KE21N (If you are using Costing Based COPA)
Way Forward: Make your service income postings in an Internal Order and you can settle the same to COPA and then allocate using Top Down Dist KE28...
Try note 605281 and see if it allows to use IO as senders in KEU5....

Dear,
1. Check in Order type dependent parameter - OPL8, select your Plant & Order type. In this check the task list, it should be N. then selection priority in OPJF settings
2. Chek the routing valid from date for this material by CA02. The production order start date must be between valid date.
3)Kindly check the routing header.Whether it is for usage 1 and Release status '4'
4) Task list we maintain in OP8B please check and come back.

What I am referring to is using several individual contacts and putting them into on group...let's say friends. When I select the Friends group all the contacts listed in the group the message will go to. Similiar to Outlook distribution list for email.

You can print the list with the help of LL01 report.Please check whether in your system this report is in place.

FI-GL allocation - distribution error: no valid receiver entries exist

When creating an allocation cycle with fixed percentages and distribution defined on own Z-field (exists in table T800D without
checks) we get Message no. GA109 when going to the receiver tracing factor screen.
This happens only when entering a range or set for the receiver. With one unique value we get the tracing factor screen.
This worked before with ranges and sets. As far as we know there are no changes done at the configuration.
What can trigger this error? Something must be changed, but I have no clue what...
Can you give me some tips to help me searching?

I can change the set I use, so I guess it is not locked ?
The set consists of 18 single values, from 1 to 18. So I tried with a set with a range 1 to 18, and also without a set and just a range 1 to 18 but that didn't help.
When I use only 1 value I dont get the error.
Before we did some tests with the same cycle (same segments and sets) and we didn't had the problem.
We have the problem now for more than a week.
Any other suggestions?

UPDATE FYI: we had to activate valdiation on the fields used for the allocation
Strange because we did tests in the sandbox before without these validation on.

Calling back with empty distribution points list

We are running sccm 2012 R2 cu0 and encounter a strange behavior regarding users not able to use the software catalog.
Some background :
We setup primary site and 3 DPs while running sccm 2012 sp1, then upgrade ro R2, then cu0
then we setup 10 DPs and start deploying clients.
All Clients looks well configured using the "Configuration Manager". All packages are replicated onto those DPs (except ms updates so far)
Clients that are assigned to boundaries linked to the 3 DP made while running sccm 2012 sp1 are running smoothly. They can use the apllication catalog
The one that are assigned to site where dp have been build with R2 cu0 can't use catalog.
They all got this message in the :
LocationService.log on the clients

Could you please use IP ranges instead of your boundary to test whether
the clients could get DPs?
If this could work, there should be a problem with the boundary of AD sites.

Error while uploading .xml file for Customer/Vendor List for Italy

Hi All,
We are facing problem while uploading the .xml file in DMEE transaction for the new Customer/Vendor List for Italy.
We have followed the entire process given in the OSS Note(1090857).
We have SAP 4.6c and followed the below steps:
1. Created ID-FI-IT Development class
2. Added domains
3. Added Data elements
4. Tried to upload the given .xml file and got any error saying ".xml file could not be interpreted".
Also there is a .SAR file mentioned to upload if we receive any errors while uploading .xml file.
Tried uploading the .SAR file also. STill we are recieving the same Error.
Can any one of you help us out.

Ok, we upload .SAR file in this way:
1. unpack .SAR file with SAPCAR.EXE program. Yuo obtain 2 files
R492445.P9C and K492445.P9C
2. put K492445.P9C in directory \SAPMNT\TRANS\COFILES and put R492445.P9C in directory \SAPMNT\TRANS\DATA of your system (DEV, TST or PRD)
3. Use Tx STMS. If You want create DMEE tree in DEV system, go to DEV import queue. Choose menu Extras | Other requests | Add. Insert P9CK492445 in Transp. request field.
4. Import the request. This creates the DMEE tree. You don't need ti upload XML file after. You can see the DMEE tree created with Tx DMEE and inserting

Format tree IT_CUST_VEN_LIST
5. after continue follow the note

Change Request Management "There is no task list for this project"

Hello!
I would like to use the functionality of CharM in SOLMAN 4.0.
When I enter the Tcode /n/tmwflow/proj I receive the waring/error "There is no task list for this project" (/TMWFLOW/TRACK_N114)
If I create my own task list via Task list --> create
I get the warning "You cannot change task lists in the SAP namespace"
What are the steps to define task list for my project?
Do I need to configure SPRO ... --> Extended Configuration --> Schedule Manager?
The second warning I get: "NO CTS projects created yet" or
"The Solution Manager project does not have an active CTS project yet".
How can these warnings/errors be corrected?
