Distribution of the planned amount

Dear Planning Experts,
I am entering the "Target Amount" for the users for a year.(0CALYEAR)
I want to do a simple calculation to distribute this amount for that employee:
every month ( Amount / 12 )for 0CALMONTH 01/2005,02/2005..
every quarter ( Amount / 4 ) for 0CALQUARTER 1,2,3,4.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Regards,
Subir

Thanks, few questions on the same track,
I have three key figures which needs to be distributed
for a month, quarter.
1. If I create a planning function of type distribute by key, will all these keys distributed ?
2. In parameter group, 0calmonth value should be calculated dynamically based on current year.
Should I use variables ? Do I have to create 12 variables and specify distribution factor ?
3. For calmonth and calquarter , two parameter groups are needed ?
Thanks for the help,
Regards,

  • Creating Report- PS- Distributing the plan amount by period

    Hi,
This is a question for PS module in BI.
I have a planing amount as KF. I need to distribute the amount based on activity period. I need to distribute the amount in equal no. of periods. E.g. Planning amount  = 600 and activity period = 180 days (i.e. 6 months) then I need to display the planning amount divided into 6 periods (because of 6 months), i.e. 100 each. The starting period of the calculation is based on the fiscal period (or month) of the start date. Important point here is the distribution will change based on the activity period. If activity period is for 4 months then the division should be only for 4mnths.
If the report is to be derived for the actual values then it is easy. I will place the fiscal period and the KFs in the columns. But how to derive such display for planning KFs? How to write the logic for this?

    Hi,
The reports with 'Y' or 'Z' are not standard ones. You have to check with the person who developed this report. Ask to your ABAP team to help you.

  • Down Payment u2013 New functionality in PO - Limit the Planned Amount of DPR

    Hi, everybody
I need an assistance with the new transactions for DownPayment Request based on PO (ME2DP and FPDP_CREATE).
We created a PO, in the item detail, tab "Invoice" we planned a Voluntary DP with DownPayment % = 20 %.
In ME2DP it is possible to consult the amount planned for DP.
When the downpayment request is created in F-47 (after run FPDP_CREATE), SAP does not check that limit, SAP allows the user to request a higher amount percentage.
Does anybody know how can we restrict the total amount or % of the downpayment request based on the planned value in PO ?
    Ideas will be very appreciated
    Carlos

    Dear Carlos,
    The behaviour is correct.
It is not check to create a down payment with a higher value as the PO value because in some scenario
it is required. For example to include freight costs or taxes.

  • Change to planned amount on invoice

    All,
We have a situation where the invoice change history indicates someone changed the "planned amount" on an invoice.   Can anyone tell me where the planned amount is on an invoice and how someone can change this value?
It is related to a consignment settlement if that makes a difference.
    Thanks
    Sandra

In this specific example the user changed the payment term from one defined to provide a discount if paid in X days to one that did not have a discount.   When the payment terms was changed to one that did not provide a discount, the system generated the "planned amount" as the amount we would have paid with the discount.

  • Change Log Details for the Planning Profiles in CRM

    Hi All,
We are getting the Planning data from CRM Planning Profiles into BW BPS - 0CRM_C01 Real Time InfoCube.
The Users got a new requirement and they need the following additional details:
    1. User who modified the amount in a particular Planning Profile.
    2. Date and Time when the Planning Amount has been modified.
    3. Differential Amount. (Between Earlier Planning Amount and Planning Amount that was entered now)
In one statement, User needs all the change log details in Planning Amount to be flown to BW and saved so that he can report.
    How to create this setup.?
Can the same  Real Time InfoCube 0CRM_C01 be used to save this information ?
How to configure the system in Planning Layouts to capture User/Time Stamp/Amount Details.
Any inputs in this regarding will be greatly appreciated.

  • I bought a iPhone 4 from USA in $749. As I did not take a data plan, still the phone is locked, now when apple is selling unlocked phone and I have paid the dull amount, will they unlock my phone

I bought a iPhone 4 from USA in $749. i did not take a data plan, still the phone is locked, now when apple is selling unlocked phone and I have paid the full  amount, will they unlock my phone

AT&T has not as of yet announced any plans to unlock an iPhone that was purchased as locked to them. Whether or not they will do so in the future, only AT&T would know, and they probably will not say unless and until they're ready to make an official announcement.  There is nothing Apple can do for you in this matter unless you are still within the timeframe for returning the iPhone.

  • Change the planned value amount for the copied rebate recipients(Customers)

    Hi,
I had copied the rebate agreement(RV15B004) for the required Rebate recipients(Customers).
Now my problem is to access each rebate agreement to change or input manually the planned value amount.
I want to change the planned value amount through BDC or any standard functionality exits for the copied rebate recipients(Customers).
    Suitable answers will be rewarded.

    Hi
What happened is an expected behaviour
If you change any dep terms - it impacts all open FY & Periods.. This is what happened in your case
    You have 2 choices
    1. Undo the change of life, close FY 2010 in AA and then again change the life
    2. Using note 29694 you can make Posted Dep = Planned dep and the issue will be technically resolved

  • Executing the planning function while opening the web interface

    hello all,
I have created a planning area based on multiprovider. This multiprovider is based on two transactional cube ie,COPA cube and Cost Center cube.
This planning area is meant for enabling integrated planning. One plans in COPA cube and other plans in Cost Center cube the income statement gets planned based on this two.
I selected planning items in multiprovider layout to display the income statement. The layout is as follows:
    <b>PlanningItem</b>  <b>Amount</b>
Net Sales<b>:</b>    9.000,00 INR   (This comes from COPA)
Sales Overheads<b>:</b> 200,00 INR  (This comes from Cost Center)
Depreciation<b>:</b> 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
Other Expenses<b>:</b> 300,00 INR  (This comes from Cost Center)
    EBIT<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Interest Income<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Interest Expense<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Operating Income<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Taxes<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
Now EBIT planning item is to be calculated from the planning items as follows:
    EBIT = Net Sales-Sales Overheads-Depriciation-Other Expenses
For this i have created a planning function which calculates EBIT.This function works properly, there are no issues in it.
My problem is that i want this function to be executed as soon as i open the web interface for my planning application and the result should be as follows:
    <b>PlanningItem</b>  <b>Amount</b>
Net Sales<b>:</b>    9.000,00 INR   (This comes from COPA)
Sales Overheads<b>:</b> 200,00 INR  (This comes from Cost Center)
Depreciation<b>:</b> 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
Other Expenses<b>:</b> 300,00 INR  (This comes from Cost Center)
    EBIT<b>:</b> 8.300,00 INR
    Interest Income<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Interest Expense<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Operating Income<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
    Taxes<b>:</b> 0,00 INR
Can anybody suggest how to go about this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Yogesh

    Hi Yogesh,
as far as i know, there is no standard functionality for that purpose, but there are workaround for it.
    1. Modify the BSP Application.
Go to SE80 --> Repository Browser --> BSP Application --> your WI name --> page with flow logic --> double click on page1.htm --> Event handler tabstrip --> on the drop down selection press F1 --> add a function module that call you BPS function in specific event (e.g: OnInitialization).
    2. Use WI-Exit Class / WI-Extention (ABAP OO).
Here you need to create sub class from Class: CL_UPWB_BSP_APPL, and assign the class to your WI. You can then add a function module that call you BPS function in method:
2.1. Load --> performed only once on intial execution of WI.
2.2. Initialisation --> called once for each server response.
2.3. Dispatch --> called at each action and also for each WI component.
You can see further information in SAP how to paper:
How to Validate manual input in WEB planning application, New BPS-Features delivered with SAP BW 3.5, etc.
You can call your BPS function with BPS API FM (See F.Group: UPC_API)
But there is also more easier way to realize your ebit calculation. If you define your EBIT calc. manually in layout (define with manually defined Lead column). With this way, You will always get your EBIT analog with inputed values.
Then you add your EBIT calc.function to Layout Component in WI in property: 'Function After Data Change'.

  • What are the best sequence presets and settings to use in FCE for the best resolution with the least amount on strain on computer?

    Hello!
Can someone please help me figure out the best settings to use in order to obtain the best resolution in FCE4 for a television show that is going to be sent out on full size Sony DVcam tapes, with 4:3 aspect ration and audio output at 48kHz? I am currently working with mixed media sources in Final Cut Express, and I am wondering what the best settings (presets and preferences) are, in order to provide the HIGHEST resolution possible, while putting the least amount of strain on my computer system?
I am importing mini DV-standard definition footage and still photos (from Canon Rebel camera, HD CMOS Canon camcorder that records in 1440x1080 at 48 kHz, and cell phone photos). For voiceovers I use the tools in FCE.
I use Voltaic (which I use thanks to recommendations from Apple discussion boards, love it!)  to convert the footage from the HD CMOS-Canon HD VIXIA (HG 20) camera, and then I am using print to video to output onto Sony DVcam tapes (full size). This is for delivery for a television network that broadcasts in Standard Definition, so I need to produce the highest resolution and best quality possible that also puts the least amount of stress on my computer system.
If anyone has any recommendations, help, or sources that can help me answer this question I would be greatly appreciative.
    Thank you!
    Susan Kayne

This is happening because your video clip properties do not match your sequence settings.  This is always a problem when you try to insert video from multiple camcorders/cameras (that use different video codecs, frame sizes & rates) in a single sequence.
It will help a lot if you provide more specifics - what FCE easy setup did you use to create your sequence?  For your DV footage, are you using standard 4:3 DV or anamorphic 16:9 DV clips?
If you plan to export to standard def (DV/DVCAM) and are mixing DV from a miniDV camcorder, stills, cell phone images and AVCHD then I would suggest that you use the DV NTSC easy setup for your sequence.  Use MPEG Streamclip or similar utility to convert your non-DV video (your AVCHD video) to QuickTime/Apple DV-DVCPRO NTSC.   Then all your video will match your sequence settings.  Yes, you will have to crop the AVCHD footage to 4:3 and you can do that in MPEG Streamclip.

  • Calculation of Budget Billing Plan (Amounts)

    Hi,
I have a case where I need to find out on what basis the new budget billing plan is calculated.
I want to verify on basis of what consumption the calculation is taking place. Suppose the monthly BB Amounts are calculated on basis of a certain consumption, say 300m3 but it should ideally be 400m3. How can I verify this?
The BB Plan got created while invoicing but where (event, FM, Sub Routine, exit) exactly is the BB Amount calculation taking place?
    Thanks in advance,
    Suresh Reddy

    Hi Suresh,
During billing, system extrapolates demand up to the next scheduled meter reading date and billing is simulated for the budget billing period. This is how consumption gets calculated. So, you need to look out for next scheduled meter reading date and calculate expected meter reading using extrapolation procedure configured in system to know consumption considered.
    Hope this helps.

  • The amount of down payment must be less than the invoice amount

    Hi all,
Our customers are using SAP 2007-PL15 and SAP 2007-PL41.
When we want to create a down payment for a sales order, and we want to pay the entire amount of the sales order, including tax, we have to put an amount inthe TOTAL field of the Down Payment window since by default, the down payment amount is the total of the invoice before applying tax.  The DPM is
higher than 100% (strange but I think it's normal since the down payment is not planned to take the tax in consideration).
Then, we create an incoming payment for this down payment. It's ok.
Then, we create an invoice based on the sales order we have paid with the down payment. It's impossible to use the down payment for the invoice... why that ? We receive the error 'The amount of down payment must be less than the invoice amount'. This causes big headaches to our customers !!
Could you explain us what to do please ?
    thanks,
    Luce

I'm very sorry, I have a similar question in dealing with AP Down Payment Request Linked to AP Invoice,  my case like this:
    1. I created 3 AP DPRs,their amount are each 100,000 RMB(for example, their document number are 10,11,12). then do the outgoing payment fully paided.
    2. I created a AP Invoice with the amount 150,000 RMB(for example, this AR Invoice document number is 5). I use the buttom"Total Down Payment",and selecet AP DRP No.10 and 11. When I click the buttom"Add",an error shows:
The amount of down payment must be less than the invoice amount
and I don't know how to continue.....
    Many Thanks
    Kam
(PS:My English is poor, forgive me please. Shall I Speak in Chinese? then I can describe this question more clearly.)

  • Date problem in the Planning Run

    Hi,
I have a demand(FA) of 50 on 23.7.2007 and stock is initial say for the product P at location L. When I execute the planning a Distribution Receipt (Planned) is created for the quantity 50 on 26.07.2007 (Planned delivery time  = 0, GR processing times = 0 and Procurement Type = F). Please let me know if  I need to do any setting changes to make receipt date 26.07.2007 before the demand date 23.7.2007 .
    Thanks,
    Siva.

Does storage bucket profile for your SNP planning area have both weeks and days now? I think having a weekly or daily planning book does not make a difference in that case.
If you are going to use daily buckets, you can set a lead time or planned Delivery time of 2 days.
You dont have to set Period Factor on both Tlane and Product master. The heuristics considers Tlane Period offset. If its not set it looks for the "use period factor" indicator in the product master (make sure you have checked this). If this is set then it considers the value in the period factor there. If this is not checked and/or no value is set then it takes 0.5 default
you will have to get back to weekly storage (not planning bucket) if you want this to move to beginning of the week. If it also has a daily storage bucket then it probably moves between 0 hrs and 23:59 hrs
