Is is possible to attah a document at delivery level with
he help of Document management system.
If yes please tell how to do it , if possible with screen shots.

i think that you will need an ABAP programmer help. Go to:
SPRO - Cross-application components - document management system - control data.
In this part, you can customize enhacement from document to object and create objects if you don't have what you need.

Billing document from delivery document has zero price

Hi. Any ideas on how I can correct this?
I have a scenario where I generate a Sales Order, create a project and assign the project to the sales order. We then assign materials to the project and generate PRs which we convert to POs and then post GR making it a project stock.
These materials upon receipt are delivered to clients via the process in CNS0 (delivery from project). We then carry out a picking and post goods issue. Next we bill based on the delivery document created earlier when goods issue is posted.
When the billing documents is generated, it has no prices even though prices are maintained in the sales order. How do I get the delivery document to determine prices from the sales order created earlier?

Its seems that your sales order quantity billing issue has been solved.If it is solved then kindly share with us,how the problem has been solved.As there prices are not picking in the billing document, so please check the pricing type that has been maintained in the VTFL copy control.Secondly also check in VOV7 wheather item category is relevant for pricing has been maintained or not.
You get the delivery document to determine prices from sales order to delivery through copy controls.

Are these delivery actually archived by archiving job? Is there any subsequent document after the delivery?
Technically, if an delivery doesn't exist in LIKP table, but it exist in VBFA table, it will show "archived" in document flow.
As of why the delivery doesn't exist in LIKP, there could be two possibilities:
- it's deleted by archiving job.
- for unknown reason, it's gone.
To know why it's gone, it's necessary to reproduce the issue. If you can reproduce, please raise a message to SAP support.
What you need to do:
- If this delivery is really archived by your archivng job, you should also archive the preceding sales document.
- If this delivery is not supposed to be archived, but misisng, you need ot delete this dummy entry from VBFA table, and then recreate delivery.
To get a list of this kind of archived document, there is no standard report or transaction to do that. You need to write your own report to do that. As mentioned above, technically, if delivery exist in VBFA but doesn't exist in LIKP, it will be displayed like that. You may selecting VBFA and LIKP tables to get your list.

Delivery document is assigned to Shipment document.

Delivery document was assigned to the shipment document. and delivery document was deleted from SAP.
Since the preceeding document delivery document was deleted from SAP. Now User want to delete the shipment document from SAP. But system encountered following error message.
When I try to execute the transaction VT02N and enter the shipment number
Following error message is triggered
Deliveries in shipment 22207486 no longer exist
    Message no. VW 097
Diagnosis
    The shipment contains one or several items that refer to a delivery that
    no longer exists.
System Response
    If this shipment was generated by an external planning system, it is
    possible that deliveries in the SAP system were deleted manually.
    The confirmation for changes to this shipment made by the external
    planning system has not yet taken place.
Procedure
    At the moment, you cannot process but only display the shipment.
    Processing is not possible until the external planning system has
    confirmed this shipment and the relevant shipment item has been removed.
Is there any way to delete the shipment from SAP.

Please read OSS note 195527 (it's a quite old note, I'm note sure it is useful or not; if it does not help I would suggest you should contact SAP instead of deleting redcords directly from data table on your own).
It mentions a correction program ("ZZSHPCOR") which may help.

you can go to your delivery document and click on the 'document flow' icon. you will see the sales order number there.

I am viewing a Purchase Order in ECC.
I am told that this PO will then result to a Delivery document which will contain the exact quantity of items dispatched from the warehouse.
Could some please tell me where can I the resulting Delivery document that relates to this PO ?

Hi,
The resulting documents or the sequentical document flow for any sort of PO
can be 'Goods receipt' or you can call it as GR - which is very similar document
as delivery document of sales.

Report to Monitor the change of delivery address on the delivery document

Is there a report that can show me when a user had changed the delivery address in a sales document or delivery document. The ship to # would stay the same but the address can be changed within the sales document which does not effect Master Data records.
We are trying to moitor this to find where users have modified the address when shipping a delivery.

I was unable to find a solution to your problem. I think it is unlikely that this change
when a user had changed the delivery address
is explicitly recorded by SAP. In the systems I looked at today, address changes in Sales docs are not among those that are automatically recorded.
You can, however, look in table VBPA. If an address has been entered manually (vs the normal automatic determination via customer master tables), then VBPA-ADRA is changed to 'E'. Unfortunately, I can't find any place where this event is time-stamped, or the user responsible is recorded. You might be able to intuit the user using other means.

in my Delivery Document field partner tab is showing only ship to party it should show payer and sold to party also .

1.u check whether u have maintained[entering actual number] payer and bill to party in sales order[ which is copied from customer master].
2.and check partner determination procedure for delivery document.
more important is u wouldnot have maintained partner determination procedure for delivery header.[spro->sales and distribution->basic function->partner determination->partner determination for delivery]

The store language detection is totally broken.
The Swiss store is only available in German and French - English, my system language, won't do. However, in all those years I've never seen an option to choose between German/French, iPhoto always just assumed one.
In my case it picks French (instead of German) eventhough the preferred language in the Apple-ID account is German. Also, in "System Preferences -> Language&Text -> Language" German is listed below English but above French on purpose. Furthermore, in "Language&Text -> Formats -> Region" I picked "Switzerland (German)".
I've yet to figure out how Apple picks the effective store. If it doesn't look in either of those three places it's seriously broken anyhow...

Thanks Jeff, I was not aware that a template could be multi-page. (All the existing templates were 1 page)
But it worked, saving me some steps. When I was finished I renamed the document, and locked it.
Then tried to save it but could not because it was locked. I closed it, went to my Spread Sheet Folder ,
to find it, it was not there. The Finder could not find it either.
So I start over again.
I opened up Numbers and it showed my personal Numbers template folder, it contained both my new
original 4 page template and the vanished saved document!
I tried to delete the template containing these document data and could not - I had to go to the Library/Application Support/Numbers to physically remove it from this folder. Then I started over again. I Finally found out how to make it work: I can now "save as", and then lock, and it will go to place where I want it to be saved and locked.
The secret is: Click on the document title in the menu bar, and it opens up "Save as...", which works the same as in OS 10.4.11, and you can pick the place you want for saving. Once done that, you can then lock the document in the same pull down menu, and then close it.
I also found later that I can delete a template from its folder, by letting Numbers open the templates,
clicking on the one I want to remove, then go to the "Numbers Menu/File/Move to...", select "Desktop"
and from there the selected template can then be thrown into the Trash from there.
It appears now that the real fault of the Numbers software is that the "Save as" command is not available in the "Edit" or "File" pull-down menus, but hidden behind the title of the document.

1) design for no wider than 600px (otherwise it may not fit in email clients).
2) Slice up your newsletter design in segments for images and html areas with the slice tool.
3) add the <a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com">my website</a> link in one of the html areas.
4) export as generic html 4 code, and put the images in a separate folder.
5) upload all the images to your website's server in a folder (you cannot embed images in an email newsletter - they must link to externally hosted images).
6) change all the links in your html page to the ones that were loaded up on your server. For example, an image's source link would work out similar to this: <img src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/newsletter/image1.jpg" alt="alternate description of your image">
7) open the newsletter with working external images in Chrome or Firefox. Select the entire page content (ctrl-a), and copy it (ctrl-c).
8) create a new email in your mail client. Place the cursor in the body. Paste the newsletter (ctrl-v).
9) send your newsletter to hundreds of recipients, and get blacklisted by several email servers. Receive warning messages from your own hosting provider not to spam other users' email accounts.
10) realize this is too much of a hassle, and instead opt for a service such as MailChimp.
(The result in (9) depends on whether you sent out your newletter only to acquaintances, or not. But even then you might be warned off.)
Btw, many email clients turn off images in an email by default. You must provide the most important content as html, not as images.

My process is pretty simple....with a message open I click the attach icon (paperclip) at the top of the message, then navigate to where the file is located and select it. I make sure I have the cursor at the bottom of the new message below my signature line. FWIW I use MS Word 2011.

Not easily, no. There's no direct transfer option between POP and IMAP, especially across email providers. The best you could do would be to forward all of your emails to your new address, although it's not clear that you need to - dropping your sbcglobal.net account doesn't instantly render all your existing mail void - it'll still be in your Mail client, you can still read it, search it, etc., it just won't be on your provider's server.
I have toyed with the idea of getting a MobileMe account. Would that solve my issue/question above?
MobileMe would be viable, especially if you're interested in synching your various iOS devices. It's not free, of course, unlike Yahoo and Gmail, although you've already discounted them...
I have also toyed with purchasing my own URL, but it's hard to tell from the sites (1and1, Namecheap, etc.) if they come with IMAP email accounts included.
Some registrars offer email hosting bundles with a domain registration. This could be a good way to go. GoDaddy, for example, have a email hosting option for domains you register with them.

In addition to the last poster's suggestion - just so you know, it also depends on the email program the recipient uses as to how they will see any attachments - for instance, when I am using my Yahoo Mail, I am absolutely unable to view any attachment within the browser window - Yahoo forces me to download it; there is no way for me to check it (like a preview) to see if I want to download it or not.
And, FWIW: the window shown in the screenshot does not show on my version of Mail 5.1 (which is the latest for 10.7.2); the only one similar shows when viewing a message received with an attachment, not while sending one. So that must be a different version.

Able to attach documents when the document in closed status

Hi,
I have a issue related to attchments in Service Request.
I have user status =closed ands set Chnage Document=Forbidden for that staus.
Now after setting this Status, system is not allowing me to do any chnages in the document and that is fine.
But system still allows to add the attchments and I want to stop it if the status is closed.
What I need to do.

Disable the Add Attachment button based on this document status.This way no body would be allowed to attach document.
