Do I really need to enter a payment form before I can view AppStore?
I tried creating apple id in app store. But in needed some form of payment. My droid doesn't require this for the market. Please say it ain't so for app store? This is my first apple branded product. My daughter has a touch but only her mama touches it, lol. Thanks in advance.
You do not need a creit card to create an Apple ID. You can also view the App Store thru a web browser.

You need to take into account any applicable taxes and or fees. iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
So if the total cost of the app exceeds 17$, you'll need to purchase and redeem another iTunes gift card. -
?I'm trying to download a free app and I keep getting a message that says; "Payment Type paypal is not supported on this device blah blah go to the iTunes Store on your computer. You must verify your payment info before you can make purchases. I did all that, updated payment info and checked paypal it is verified, and it still won't work. Im stumped

Before I can update my iPad from 7.0.4 to 7.0.6 I am told I must transfer some purchases to iTunes library. How do I identify these purchases, find them and then transfer them to the iTunes library?
You don't need to find them or identify them. iTunes does it for you. When that dialog box pops up, just click on Transfer Purchases to begin the process and iTunes will take care of all of it for you.
New apps, songs, books, etc, ...anything that you downloaded since you last synced with iTunes will be transferred. -
Really need help with basic static forms?!?!
I was thrown into creating forms for our Business Managers and I am not a developer in any way! I am a Recruiter, but somewhat tech savvy (or at least I thought I was).
I am trying to create basic static forms. I started by using Adobe Professional and them moved to LiveCycle Designer because of what I thought were better "editable" options when creating the form. I want to be able to send my manager's forms via e-mail (PDF), they can enter the requesting information in the fields, save a copy for themselves, print, and e-mail to me. We are not using any of the Adobe Server things, I don't want them to submit via an e-mail button on the form. We are a non-profit organization and my managers are using all different versions of reader.
I am getting extremely frustrated because in testing the form everything seems to be working properly including tab order, print, save and everything I want it to do. Then, I send them out for my managers to use, for some Manager's they work great, no problems at all! But then, I keep getting these weird issues from different Managers with the same form. For one of them, what they typed in the field, now looks like it's behind the text box, like when you select Highlight all, you can see what he typed, but then if you click into the text box, you can see what he typed. Another Manager said, two (crucial) fields would not show the text entered when she tries to save or print, but on screen you can see it????
So after the rambling, I guess my questions are: should I be using Live Cycle to create such basic forms or should I be using Adobe? Can anyone recommend a good "FOR DUMMIES" book that will help me figure out what I am doing wrong, and not explain in "IT" language?
This is really getting embarrassing!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!1. Make sure to set the PDF target version. Goto File -> Form Properties (see the first screenshot attached)
Find out the minimum Reader version used in your organization and set this value accordingly. If you are not sure, select the least recent version.

This may be due to the visibility settings of the fields. Just make sure that you have selected visible instead of visible (screen only)

I want to thank Allan Sampson and Dr Simie for helping me. I was finally able to reset my iphone 4s. FYI: When I was trying to sync my iphone with my car, I now realize I put a passcode on my iphone which I had never put one on it before. Anyway, I kept working on freeing up more disk space on my computer and to make a long story short, I was up past 2am working on this, but finally my iphone is restored and I have all my stuff. I now have a passcode which I am sure to not forget. Like I said, I've never had a passcode before, but I kind of like the security of it. So I think I'll go ahead and keep it.

Really need help with an insert form
I attempted to implement a cascading select list (via sergios blog); which was helpful. I created an office_id field as a select list with submit in order to populate another select list with the appropriate list of salespeople. But now the rest of my fields on the page are reset and I can't successfully add a record. I am wondering if I should be using a select list with submit or redirect or perhaps a computation for the page to achieve the same behavior but that doesn't submit the page until all fields are completed. Even if I fill out the office_id (the submit occurs)> I pick my salesperson then proceed to fill out the rest of the fields the row will not save when clicking the create button.
