Do resources in template pages always appear after those in content pages?

Hi everyone.
I want 'jquery162.js' in template.jspx appear before the scripts in content.jspx, what should I do?

nope- it won't.
for flash objects in locked parts of a template to work on
the child pages,
they must have a site root relative path because they are
currently inserted
with the active content javascript to write them. So the path
isn't managed
in the child pages like it is for links and images.
you could put it in the root level of you own site, with
unique filenames?
If there aren't many pages, you could rename them in the
files panel to
something like aaa_index.html and aaa_contact.html so they
are grouped
together. also be sure to upload the Scripts folder in the
public root

How To Add A Template Page

Hi! So in school, I am required to write up a newspaper and conveniently I have a Late 2013 Retina 13.3" Macbook Pro. After playing around with the pages Newsletter templates, I decided to go with the first option. However I could not find any option or tools to add a new template page. My teacher in school seems to have done it by going to Sections and then selecting various template pages. It seems as if this feature was removed in the new Yosemite update for Pages. Is there an alternative or another option for me to get additional template pages? Thanks!

It seems you would like to know how to save a document you've created as a Pages template. You can do this easily by following the steps in this article:
Pages for Mac 5.0: Add custom templates
If you create a document that you want to use again as a model for other documents, you can save it as a template. Creating your own template can be as simple as adding your company logo to an existing template, or you can design a completely unique template.
You can add your custom template to the template chooser, or save it as a file to share with others or to install and use on your iOS device.
You can install a custom template from an email attachment, iTunes, a WebDAV server, or other apps. If you create a custom template on your Mac, you can save it to iCloud.
Save a document as a template
Choose File > Save as Template (the File menu is at the top of your computer screen).
Click one of the options:
Add to Template Chooser: Type a name for the template, then press Return. Your template appears in the My Templates category in the template chooser.
Save As: Type a name for the template, then choose where you want to save it.
If you save it to iCloud, the next time you open Pages on your iOS device, the template appears as a downloadable file in the document manager.
If you save a template to a web server or upload it to webmail, it must have the file extension .template.zip to install it and use it in Pages on your iOS device.
Install a custom template
If you saved the custom template to your computer, to a server, or to iCloud, you can quickly install it. Templates saved to iCloud appear in the document manager and are identified as templates by a template badge.
Double-click the template file (it has the file extension .template), then click Add to Template Chooser.
Rename or delete a custom template
In the template chooser, Control-click the template name, then choose Rename or Delete.
If you’re renaming, type a new name, then press Return.
Custom templates always appear in the My Templates category in the template chooser. You can’t rearrange templates; they always appear in the order in which they were added.

Photos on photo page not appearing after republishing to ftp site

A photo template page (9 photos) created in iWeb used to appear online along with my other pages when published to an ftp site. However, after changing a few of the photos, none of the photos appear after republishing. The page appears as a menu, but no photos.
I've recreated the photo page using iWeb's template, but to no avail. The photos are about 150KB each. Any suggestions? My next step would be to create a photo page without using iWeb's template for photos.

It was likely FTP because when I was online chatting with an FTB service rep hours after republishing the site, the photos all of a sudden appeared.
At any rate, I very much appreciate your time. Now if I just figure various other things, like why a photo on one of my pages also appears in a text box on the same page! Had to replace the text box with a pdf file to get the text to appear. Strange stuff.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that when you add a PDF to mail you see its entire contents, but when you add two or more pages Mail shows them as a document icon. To change this behavior for that specific email, please follow the instructions in the attached article.

OSX 10.9 Mavericks is there any way to hide servers which always appear in finder after login (hide login items doesn't work as stardered)

hi all my boss has just got himself a nice new mac and wants to connect it on to my windows domain at work, no problems there it’s all connect fine, one thing we done was to map a few of our network drives on our domain so he can easily load them to his mac, works great when it’s on the domain however when he goes home and logs in for each mapped drive it throws up a window saying it can’t connect or when it is connect opens up every drive, even after disabling them at login, now on the apple website the text reads "if you don’t want an item's window to be visible after login, select hide. (Hide does not apply to servers, which always appear in the finder after login), does anyone know any work around that can maybe solve this or point me in the direction where I can find one.

A small icon of 404 not found is always appearing on the lower right of my screen whenever I open firefox,whichever page I go,it's still there on the same place

I can go to whichever page I like,but the small message is always appearing.It is just a small paralilogram whith the message 404 not found and a strange server name.

Select the element on the Master page that you would like to appear above any object on linked pages and move it to Master Foreground through the context menu.

Adobe CS5.5 Always appear Trial version after few weeks

Hi I Bought a Licence of Adobe CS5.5 Dreamweaver. for Windows but Every Few Weeks it displays a Trial Version 30 days
PC Specs
Dell Optiplex 990
Windows 7 SP1 Pro
320Gb HDD
2gb DDR3
Intel Core i3 2400
things that i have already done
- reinstall software,
- re enter serial Key
last part
Reformat the PC but still no avail
the 30 day trial still appears after a succesful Intallation of the Dreamweaver.
any idea how to resolve this..

Weird problem. When you say re-install, did you first de-activate the software (Help --> Deactivate), then run the Clean Tool ( http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html ) and then re-install? Or did you just re-install without those steps?
Also if this problem persists, try creating a new user account on the machine because it is not uncommon to have a corrupt user account where some system files/folders that Adobe uses becomes unwritable or unusable thus putting the program back into that state, although the trial usually has more to do with the registry on the Windows side if I'm not mistaken.

Templates - pages not updating

Hi. I have created a simple webpage with a separate CSS file.
I have now saved this page as a template, the template folder is
created in my root directory and the template appears within this
folder. I now create a new page based on the template. This opens
and I save it as a new page in a new folder within my root
directory. If I close all pages and then open up the template and
edit some of the editable areas and then save it asks me if I would
like to update all the pages created by this template. I say yes,
however it will not update the pages. Also going into each page and
manually forcing an update doesn't work either. I have deleted the
pages and the template about five times and each time it still
doesn't work. Can't find an answer on this forum or the internet as
each soloution doesn't work either. Help!! Thanks.

Changes to editable regions of template files DO NOT
PROPAGATE TO CHILD
PAGES. It is only the changes to the non-editable regions of
the template
that propagate.
This is how templates have always worked. If it were not the
case, you
could never have unique content on any child page.

Portal Favorites iview always appear in detailed navigation

Hello,
I have a problem regarding the Detailed Navigation with the Portal Favorites iview.
The iview always appears in the Detailed Navigation, although the only thing it shows is the message "there are no items to display" (meaning that there are no favorites). This causes the detailed navigation to always appear even when there is no need for it (no navigation links and no other content attached to it).
I tried removing the Portal Favorites iview (because we don't use that iview in the portal and have no need for it) from the innerpage of the default framework page, and it works, but after the next restart of the portal, the iview returns.
Is there any way to remove it completely so that it won't appear again?
We're running EP7 SP14.

Hi,
Create a new framework page by creating a delta link of the original page and then modify that framework page.
Also you will have to create a new portal desktop and use the modified page and also set the desktop rules accordingly.

How can i add a template page on my document ? Pages 5.0

Hi to everyone.
I have a problem after i updated Pages to the new one (5.0 (1465)). I'm not able to add a template page (for exemple chapter page or photo page or so on), while i'm writing my document. How can i do it ?
(For example with Keynote i have only to click on "+" in the left bottom corner, and i can choose wich slide i want).
Can someone help me please ? I need that for my thesis.
