When something messes up on your iPhone 5, and you send it in, do you get a replacement phone?

Apple does not repair your iPhone (at least not that I've ever heard of); they replace it, usually with a refurbished unit. You'll only get your original iPhone back if the technician can't reproduce the problem, or it turns out not to be a hardware problem.

Yesterday I bought something through a gift card on the app store, however I haven't received any receipt from Apple yet, is this normal? Does Apple send receipt to your email when you buy something via the gift card?

It can be done two ways.
1) as the other poster describes in making an Alert Sound and placing it in Users/(your account)/Library/Sounds and then selecting it in iChat > Preferences > Alerts fro the action you want.
2) In Tiger/iChat 3 only
Go to the iChat Alert Preferences details above and there is an option to have iChat Speak a text phrase which you can type in the Phrase. (this is not there in iChat 4)

How do you get pass "Enter password" when you don't know what it is?

I inherited a Toshiba Laptop that has Windows Vista label. The model # begins with PSL, so I've been able to determine that it is a Toshiba Satellite Model L.
When I turn on the computer, it asked for a password, which I don't know, nor does the person that gave me the computer. So I placed my Windows Vista Operating Disk into the drive and rebooted the computer in the hope of reformatting the system. But it bypasses the drive and it comes back asking for the password. Can any one help me?

I presume you are writing about BIOS password. This password can be removed by Toshiba service only.
Contact nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and let them remove this password for you.
When password is removed you will be able to install operating system and have full access to all notebook settings.

Every handset has a unique series of identifiers, one of which is the IMEI number, so if you exchanged the handset (for example if it was not working & you were still under warranty) your new handset would have a new IMEI number.
What Apple do though is if you formally exchange your handset (again, under warranty etc) then they record the change on their system, but also give you a sticker which is meant to attach to the original box. That way, if you come to sell the handset, you have a proper record of why the IMEI number on the handset is different from the IMEI number on the box.

With iPhone 4 Apple will not replace the screen. They will replace the entire iPhone 4. If you want the screen replaced on the same iPhone 4, you have to do it yourself.

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). No, I use as much as I can connected to AC with a monthly discharge to about the 40% charge level. If in portable mode with no AC available, I will let the MBP operate until the low charge warning appears. then I will terminate the session. Total battery discharge should be avoided.

Voicemail is saved on Verizon's server, so unless you change your phone number, your voicemail will be available after changing phones.
The only exception is moving to or from an iPhone - it uses a different system. If iPhones are not involved, or you move from one iPhone to another, messages should be intact.
