The first thiing to find out is who your email provider (Gmail? Yahoo?, etc.) and your internet service provider (Charter? Comcast?)
You will need to know your username and password for each of these.
You will need to get the domain name of each of these as well.
The best way to start is actually a customer service call to your internet service provider. They will usually help you step-by-step most of the way.

I have had an iPad 3G for more than a year now. I did not get it with a SIM card, since I expected to use almost completely at home, where we have wireless internet. Eventually, I decided it would be handy to be able to take it on the road, and signed up for pre-paid Internet with KPN (national Dutch telecommunications company). That worked fine, until the last big iPad software update. Since then, whenever I try to make a connection outside the house, I get the following message…

You have not signed up for a data plan.
Would you like to set up a new account?
If you don’t, you can do it later in Settings.
…with the options of ‘Later’ or ‘Now’ to press. If I press Now, I get a screen “Please wait while the page is loading – this should only take a few seconds to complete.” But it never does, the ball just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning….
To my mind, with pre-paid internet I should not HAVE to set up a Mobile Data Account in the first place. I’ve checked with KPN, and my account is completely in order. I’ve checked with the local Apple store, and the geniuses say they’ve never seen this. Can anyone help me?I updated to 3.6.4 and when I went to NetFlix to watch the next show of a series, it said

I restarted browser, same problem. Restarted comp. Same problem.
I updated Adobe Flash 10.1, still same problem.
But able to watch some vids on other sites, but full screen gave me the big blank white screen with audio only, had to click around in the dark ( so to speak) to find the minimize button.
I did a System Restore to before the Firefox and Adobe updates.
I then did not update Firefox as recommended and went to NetFlix and wellah, i can view the movies again.
And Full Screen is fine.
I then experimented and updated Firefox only, went to NetFlix and got same msg with no viewable shows.
So did a System Restore once more.
Staying at 3.6.3 for a while longer until I know I can watch my movies.
I don't own a TV, so this is my only form of an occasional escape.
I do hope this is figured out soon.
With what I have done, it seems to be Firefox, Not Flash.

Bought Premier Elements 13 yesterday. EVERY time I try to open a set of clips with Editor, I am told I have to sign into my Adobe first. I do this and wait for several minutes for the password dialogue box to open, enter my password. then wait and wait until my pw is recognized. Accept agreement. Agreement screen disappears and I'm back where I started. Try to open video clips with editor again and get the same demand to log in. Please advise asap. thx

Go to Solution.This took me forever to work out but what you need to do is merge your xbox live account and skype account. You can't do it on the Xbox because of the loop so you have to do it on your PC or Laptop.

I hope this works for all of you and merges your accounts properly because it was doing my head in. It worked for me and then I could just sign straight into my Skype on Xbox One. -

No, you need to go into the settings and select sleep now.
You can also press/hold the select (centre) button on the remote for 5 seconds. -
How I fixed: You have been signed out problem in 2 minutes!
Very frustratingly I was having the same problem with Creative Cloud saying you have been signed out all the time, so I was reading through the forum and got some ideas, so this is what I did and finally I can get back to work and hopefully help some of you solve this problem too:
1. Completely uninstall CC from your computer. Also remove the exe. file from the previous download in your downloads folder, just to be save.
2. Download the Adobe cleaner tool.
3. Use the Adobe cleaner tool and select on the questions to remove ALL files. Make sure you have backed up important docs or images before doing this.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Download Adobe CC again.
6. Accept terms and conditions.
7. Sign in and whoala - Happiness!!

This is becoming very-very-very annoying, Adobe. I am starting to think about you with very-very-very bad words.
As earlier this year, I have used the Adobe Cleaner Tool, got everything wiped, after that, cleaned my computer... Last time, I have also reinstalled the entire system. Clean Windows. New and updated drivers. This have happend last week. Everything worked great.
Today, the Creative Cloud it is once again a troll.
I am convinced that this tool, as good and professional can be, doesn't deserve that much attention. I will not continue to use payed Adobe products. I know that it is not nice to do that, but when such a big company as Adobe consider that a minor bug as this one can be resolved by users by work-arrounds, repetedly and without any sence, and paying for that also, I start consider Adobe a scam company.

I can't login in to Creative Cloud. It is telling me that "you have been signed out" I have tried deleting the Opm.dp file however it will not stay deleted when I reopen the CC app. It pops right back up when it go to relaunch. I have been having this issue for 5 months now and wasting a lot of money.

I have a user who is trynig to use ADI to upload a journal from Excel.
She receives an error stating "You have not signed on to the required Applications Database"

I think the user did try creating a new spreadsheet and pasting the data into it and it did not work. At the time I was not familiar with the Windows Service and the DBC directory with the DBC files in it.
I have copied the files to each Oracle_Home so my next step may be to have the user try using a new spreadsheet and using the cut-paste option.
If I get something to work I'll try to update this thread with what I learned. -

Do you have to sign in to iCloud to access your calendar? I'm used to my ical being on my dock and just opening from there. For some reason, since I've gone to the cloud, my calendar is not the same on any computer or other device - very frustrating!
Firstly, do you have Lion 10.7.2? (Please amend your signature to show your current system to avoid wasting time on answers for the wrong system.)
If you do have Lion you need to set iCloud up in System Preferences>iCloud - sign in where prompted and emable Calendars etc:
Once it's all synced you can open iCal from the Dock in the usual way and all your events should be the same on all revices. -
I would like to know if you have to back up a macbook hard drive, can I use a external hard drive that has been previously used to back up several pc 's, or is it best to have a separate external drive for the Mac?
In the Mac side of things, backups usually come in two flavors: clones or incrementals.
A bootable clone is a bit-for-bit copy of all essential files in the startup volume. If using the Lions, clones can be made using CarbonCopyCloner or just plain old Disk Utility. These backups represent the safest protection of your info, but take the longest to do. Recovery is an inverse process: you copy the clone back into the internal drive.
Incremental backups start with a complete backup of the startup volume and only copy whatever changed from the previous run. OS X includes the fully integrated Time Machine backup utility to do this. It is extremely easy to do and takes the least amount of time. Recovery is another matter altogether since you have to start with a freshly installed instance of the OS and have to apply all intervening backups to bring the result to the latest saved version.
As for where the backup takes place, the recommended media is an external dedicated drive or drives connected via the fastest interface available on your Mac: Thunderbolt, USB3, Firewire, or USB2. Network-based backups, wired or wireless, are attractive but may not offer the same performance and hence take longer. Also important to note that the entire drive need not be completely dedicated to a single backup. The Mac's EFI firmware infrastructure allows for an unlimited number of partitions on a hard drive and each can be used for either type of backups.

We are using the 7.2.12.04.25 32 bit version of ADI on an IBM P750 machine running AIX 5.3. The Oracle proper application is version 11.5.10 on a 10G database. We have two users that are unable to upload each others spreadsheets but are able to upload their own. A different user is able to upload the spreadsheets created by both of the users that can't upload each others spreadsheets. The ADI settings appear to be the same and the users are selecting the same responsibility. The database properties seem to be the same inside the spreadsheets as well. An option would be to copy the contents of the other person's spreadsheet into one they created and then upload it but that process is too cumbersome to entertain. Has anyone run into and resolved this issue? The error they are seeing is "You have not signed on to the required Applications Database".

ScottDo the users need to sign into the same responsibility to upload a spreadsheet the other created? They are both signed into a GL responsibility but not the same one.
Since they are two different responsibilities then I'd give it a try (ask the other user to login to the same responsibility) and see how it behaves.
