Where Could I see a schema or chart of PM XI Architecture with its tiers integrated in BOXIr2 Structure?Can you indicate or send me a document where I can see the PM services (AA...) and its BOXIr2 tiers of belonging? Note: I see the BOXIr2 Administrator's Guide and I see that only BO processes are present in Architecture's Schema. In the PM Administrator guide I did not found any Architecture's Schema.

I didn't fully understand your environment. You have 2 virtual nodes, right? Let's say node1 and node2. Now, where is your NFS storage and what do you plan it will contain?
Regarding Oracle documentation, there are 2 NFS "vendors", one is standard NFS (exported by any linux/unix machine), the other one is vendor supported NFS (such as Netapp, EMC, etc.).
Oracle RAC files (OCR, voting and database) are supported on the second one only. It is not supported to use standard NFS for database files. However, if you wish, you can put 1 voting on a standard NFS (this is for cases where you have 2 locations for the RAC and you want to have another voting in a different site).
In any case, if I understand correctly you have node1 exporting NFS to node2 for the RAC. If this is true it is not supported, and generally a bad idea because you lose your entire high availability (if node1 fails, you got nothing).

Imported sealed Management Pack and its not showing up in Data Warehouse Job MPSyncJob

Hello,
When i try to Import a sealed Management Pack (with defined new Dimensions for Data Warehouse) it works fine, and it shows up under Management Packs under the Administration Pane. But its not showing up in the Data Warehouse Job "MPSyncJob".
No errors in the Eventlog on the DW Management Server and cant see any errors in failed Data Warehouse Jobs either.
I imported the MP three Days ago and still nothing.
Now what?

I am completely in the dark about how to manage my iTunes and devices.
I have a desktop with Windows 8 (ugh!!) and I have iTunes for Windows. My wife has a iPod Touch and I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4S. Currently, the only devices associated with my Apple ID are the desktop and the iPad. How do I add the iPod and my iPhone to the devices and how do I put "puchased" iTunes on my wife's iPod when attached to the desktop?

Managing architectural and usage view

Hi,
in a case where both architectural and usage view are used in REFX, for example the locality equals business entitiy in 1:1 relationship (same applies for buildings etc).
Has anyone ever tried to somehow 'automate' this linkage, e.g. that each time when a locality is created in architectural view, the system also generates the corresponding business entitiy in usage view with the same ID?

In this case the numbering of both arch. and usage view would be external. A validation rule might be useful to ensure both objects are created with the same ID.
I would assume this would need some developing work, so if anyone has ever been involved in this kind of programming, please comment, thanks!

Question about GUI Design on JTable and its separate editor

Hi all,
I need to use JTable with separate editor , that way when I double click one of the JTable's row its editor will popup in another window.
Based on GUI design principles, where should I put the editor, in another tab panel or a JDialog ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if you dont have to edit a lot of fields, this will

But then, if I have so many fields in one form. I won't put them in a JTable because users will find it cumbersome for having to scroll left and right to see those fields. I believe on this scenario JTable is just not the right component to use.

i don't remember such a document ...
some extractors like lo cockpit 11 and 13 can extract data from archive, but most of the extractors can't.
the workaround is, to reload the data from archive in a new r3 table and build an generic extractor on it. then you can load the data to bw. after that you can refresh the table.
i also heard of direct loading from archive, but i never tried.

"Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility." Trying to format my iomega external HD for use with Mac

Hi. Trying to connect iomega ext. HD. i have to reformat for Mac. When i plug in & go to Disk Utility,the external shows up and i'm supposed to click "partition". When i do, a box comes up saying ""Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility." I quit and relaunched, same results. After googling my question, i came up with this:
"Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility."
(Quitting and reopening Disk Utility does not help.)
The following also appears in Console log:

Workaround
Quit Disk Utility.
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Go to Folder....
Type the following, then click OK: /Library/Receipts
Temporarily remove these iTunes receipts from /Library/Receipts (sort the folder alphabetically as a list):
iTunes.pkg
iTunes4.pkg
You can put them on the desktop, for example. Do not remove iTunesX.pkg or iTunes Phone Driver.pkg.
Open Disk Utility and repair disk permissions again.
Quit Disk Utility.
Put the removed iTunes receipts back in /Library/Receipts.
Note: This issue does not affect Disk Utility's verify or repair disk features.
All seemed good, for a moment, until, upon going back to Disk Utility after removing itunes4.pkg and putting on desktop (i did not have itunes.pkg to remove) the same thing was happening. When i highlite my iomega ext. on left of page, disk perrmissions is grayed and does not allow me to click on it. Same problem from the start. Can somebody please help me out here? That would soooo awesome. Thanx!

You shouldn't be scared of that, because you should already have backups. If you don't have backups, then backing up is the first priority.
Insert the Snow Leopard DVD and restart. When you hear the chime, hold down the C key and keep holding it until the Apple logo appears on the display. You should now see the language selection screen. Select your language, then choose Utilities > Disk Utility from the menu bar. In the Disk Utility window, select the external drive (not the internal). The drive may already have a data partition, in which case there will be another icon below the drive icon. Choose the drive icon, then select the Partition tab. Create a single partition with the default options (GUID partition table, Mac OS X Extended Journaled).
When the partitioning is done, select the startup volume on your internal drive in the DU window. Select the Restore tab. Drag the icon of the startup volume to the "Source" field. Then drag the icon of the newly-created volume on the external drive to the "Destination" field. Make sure you have this right. Then click the Restore button, and the data on your startup volume will be copied to the external drive.

Many if not all of the WLS EJB examples use container-managed
 transactions. That's a good place to start.
 I'd also recommend that you pick up a decent EJB book. There's several

Definition: The sales organization is an organizational unit within logistics, that structures the company according to its sales requirements.
Use: A sales organization is responsible for the sale and distribution of goods and services.
It represents the selling unit as a legal entity. It is responsible for product guarantees and other rights to recourse, for example. Regional subdividing of the market can also be carried out with the help of sales organizations. Each business transaction is processed within a sales organization.
The sales organization must be specified in all sales documents. It is therefore available for all basic functions of SD (such as pricing, availability, etc.).
Structure: A sales organization can be subdivided into several distribution chains which determine the responsibility for a distribution channel.
Several divisions can be assigned to a sales organization which is responsible for the materials or services provided.
A sales area determines which distribution channel can be used to sell the products from one division in a sales organization.
Integration: Each sales organization is assigned exactly one company code for which you enter all accounting details of the sales organization.
A distribution chain can be active for several plants and the plants can be assigned to different company codes. If the sales organization and plant are assigned to different company codes, an internal billing document is sent between the company codes before the sales transactions are entered for accounting purposes.

about 10k,it just work fine;when my xml file's size became 50k,it throws the followng

Why? the error message is in the attachment.

The prologue must be included at the top of the document, followed by the root
          element.

Document Management - store and retrieve

Currently we are running on SRM 4.0 with SRM 5.0 server and Netweaver 6.4. Our screens were developed using BSPs and running in SAP Portal 5.0 (soon to be 6.0, hopefully). What is the recommendation for storing and retrieving documents? There are SEVERAL postings on different sites, but not getting anywhere. Some of the postings contain specific function modules (like Bapi_document_create2, CVAPI, O_Document_) but were not found in our system. We did find CL_BDS_DOCUMENT, but found the following statement "SAP currently recommends not using BDS or DMF. Even use of the other Knowledge Provider services should be evaluated carefully." within this site's documentation under Knowledge Provider section. Can anyone refer us to some technical documents and hopefully sample code?

Your question is not easy to answer. There are different options to store and retrieve documents. First of all it depends on the functionality you need on your documents. Since I have no experience with SAP KM I can only talk about the options within SAP NetWeaver.
The SAP Knowledge Provider is divided into different part. The most basic part is the CMS API(Content Management Service) (All function modules starting with SCMS_*). This API allows the retrieval and storage of documents in terms of the SAP Knowledge provider document model where a document consists of components and each component corresponds to the content. With the CMS API you can store and retrieve those documents in a Content Server via the HTTP 4.5 interface.
Such a content server can be an external archive system that is certified for the HTTP 4.5 API (a list is provided by the ICC), the SAP data base or preferably the SAP content server (coming with SAP NetWeaver).
All document management services in SAP (SAP ArchiveLink, Business Document Service, SAP Records Management, Document Management System) are clients of the SAP Knowledge Provider CMS API.
Now, in order to model documents, the SAP Knowledge provider comes with the SAP DMS API. This DMS API is used to model complex document models (attributes, relations, ...) based on a so called content model that can be modelled via the document modeling workbench (DMWB). Here, the document management services mentioned above behave different. The SAP Knowledge provider is only infrastructure. This infrastructure has specializations using this infrastructure. Here are the most important ones I know about.
SAP ArchiveLink: This services offers the storage and retrieval of simple images and the service of linking those images to business objects. Those links are for example contained in the table TOA01.
So, the main focus here is to be able to navigate from a business object to the related images. It further has a workflow integration. The classical example is the invoice related to an FI document.
SAP ArchiveLink does not support any kind of document management functionality such as versioning and indexing. But, with the introduction of the SAP Document Finder, this can be done project specifically.
SAP ArchiveLink comes with a nice document viewer for viewing stored documents.
SAP Business Document Service: The business object serevice was designed to be a simple API for managing documents including simple versioning and indexing of images and documents.
SAP Document Management Service: This is the specialization with respect to PLM. So, DMS has the focus on engineering documents but can also be used to store other images and documents. SAP DMS offers document management functionalities such as check-in, check out of documents.
SAP DMS is using a classification service for classifying documents. It also has a very large BAPI API for the external access on those documents. As far as I know, SAP DMS is not part of SAP NetWeaver (therefore, you did not find CVAPI*).
SAP Records Management: SAP Records Management can be used for document management but is more than that.
Within Records Management it is possible to create hierarchical structures and to fill them with all kinds of documents. You can either integrate scanned images (via ArchiveLink) or you can use the SAP Records Management Document service provider offering some basic DMS functionalities such as versioning and indexing. The nice thing is that you can keep a whole structure of documents and even any other SAP objects such as business objects, transactions or URL's.
A typical application example is a HR personnel file. We've already done a lot of projects on that.
In the end, the choice of the document management infrastructure depends on the needs you have.
If you simply want to store and retrieve documents without any document management functionality ArchiveLink or simply the SAP CMS API will do.
If you need hierarchical structures for your documents and an integration with various business objects SAP Records Management would be a good choice.
You will find quite a lot of documentation in http://help.sap.com about these services.
Now, a last remark for web applications. Most of the GUI's of the upper applications are made for SAPGUI. So, here it is necessary to extend the SAP functionality by developing own applications. Since all services are using the CMS HTTP API for storing and retrieving the content you can always generate a URL for displaying the documents. Use SCMS_DOC_URL_CREATE for creating such a URL for example.
