  • Document is incomplete

    Hi,
While creating sales order System showing document is incomplete, would you like to save or edit incomplete document.Whether I can save this or not.If not then what r the other customization i will,Please reply me this issue.
    thanks ,
    Rajendra

    Hi,
There a quite a few things that you can actually do when you encounter that message "Either Save , or Edit, or Cancel"
In VA02 , you can go to "Edit" and "Incompletion Log", and tick on all the incomplete fields and say "Complete Data".
Now based on your customization setting in SPRO- SD - BASIC FUNCTIONS - INCOMPLETION LOG - Define Incompletion Procedures - Sales order Header or Item, you can assign the status group.
For eg: If a field is not maintained in your sales order VA01 and you still save it without editing and completing the order, you can now restrict the billing document to be generated, or you can restrict Delivery, PGI, based on your business scenario.
Just let me know if you find this helpful and dont forget to reward points for contribution.
    Regards

  • Output determination when Sales document is Incomplete

    Hi ,
I have a requirement, when the sales document is incomplete the outputs must not be determined.
I have set my requirement determination routine as 021: Order (Itm) incompl.
    The routine code :
    KOBED_021.
      SY-SUBRC = 4.
      CHECK: KOMPBV1-UVALL >< 'C'.
      SY-SUBRC = 0.
    ENDFORM.
    FORM KOBEV_021.
      SY-SUBRC = 0.
    ENDFORM.
The value for KOMPBV1-UVALL  is always NE 'C' enenthough the document is complete.
Can you let me know if it is a bug from SAP or any config issue.
    Thanks.

cant you remove the redetermine pricing check flag in R/3? I guess this can be controlled in R/3

  • Error message KI248 on delivery document when posting goods issue

    Hi,
On the delivery document, when posting goods issue I get the following message:
"Account 60700000 requires an assignment to a CO object
    Message no. KI248
    Diagnosis
All given account assignment objects (order, project) are defined as statistical.
    System Response
Statistical orders or projects are ignored when FI and CO are reconciled. You must enter a cost center, order, project, or cost object to which the costs are posted for CO postings.
    Procedure
Enter a cost center, an order, a project, or a cost object that is not statistical. The posting row affected is 000 and the account is 60700000."
On the sales order I have a statistical order.
CO-PA is active, cost element 607 is included in PA transfer structure.
I also tried with cost center allocation in OKB9.
60700000 is defined  as a cost element (category 1).
    Any suggestion could be helpfull.
    Thanks,
    Lavinia

    Hi,
    Thank for your answer.
I tested with element cost category 12, it's working, but not the way I need: I don't have any value on the cost center.
When I don't have statistical order in sales order, the sistem it's working exactly how I need: the costs are posted on cost center and the VPRS condition is transfered to CO-PA on profitability segment.
Anyway, I finaly make it work with a cost center substitution.

  • Compare step values and set document to incomplete, if value is negative

    Hi All,
I am looking for standard feature of SAP to set the document incomplete, if the difference of the two steps value is negative.
    e.g
    Step     CT     Value     SubTot     AltCal
    10     ABC     10          D
    20     XYZ      20          E
    30     Total     (-10)                    12(std cal type Subtract Subtotal D - E)
Now the requirement is to set the document incomplete when the step 30 value is negative. Using custom routine it is feasible but I am looking for standard, if any.
The idea is to check value of step 10 and 20, if the value of step 10 is less than step 20, then set the document to incomplete.
Not necessary to check negative and then set to document to incomplete.
I am also looking to use minimum order value concept but no success.
Request to kindly let me know your valuable inputs. Thanks
    Regards
    Kalyan

    Kaveri

    Hello Kaveri,
It seems to me that the "incompletion procedures" for replenishment delivery have not been fulfilled to create the delivery.
Can you please check what is the incompletion procedure assigned to your replenishment delivery and what fields in that procedure are mandatory to be filled before the delivery document gets generated.
If these fields are not filled, then the delivery creation fails. Please check the details in the config (LE>Shipping>Basic Shipping functions>incomplete control for deliveries>Assing incompleteness procedure and then define incompletion procedure for the field information at the header and item level).
If this seems to be lengthy, please check with your SD guy who can quickly check it for you about the incompletion procedure requirements.

  • Create with reference where original document is incomplete

    Hi Guys
We use variant configuration as part of our sales order process. Within the VC we have 'discontinued' validation i.e. a component of the configuration may be discontinued and therefore unavailable. In this case, we would want to lock the configuration, reject the order item and create a new order item for a different component. We do not wish to delete the order item because of the effect this has on BI sales reporting.
However, if we later wish to create another document (such as a FOC replacement) with reference to this document we receive an error message to the effect that the document being referenced is incomplete and cannot be used as a reference.
Does anyone know of a way of being able to copy complete items only during create with reference or being able to set the status of an incomplete ('being processed') item to complete.

"Incomplete" and "being processed" are two different things. If document is "incomplete", there are some fields that are required and must be filled in before the document may be processed any further. As correctly pointed out above, such fields will appear in the incompletion log.
There is no way to work around the incompletion procedure. If you need to make the field required only in certain situations, you might want to take it out of the incompletion procedure and add a user exit instead.
If an order is displayed as "being processed", this means that one of the statuses (see Status tab on header and item level) is "partially processed". Normally setting the rejection reason updates the overall item's status (not to be confused with the header's status) to "complete", but I've heard of some cases when for some reason this does not happen. Unfortunately, I don't recall if there was any solution.
    Hope this helps.

  • Material document number's range issue

I had the same question so I searched, that should always be the first step before posting a question.
No points to me please as this answer is not from me!

Answer from: Mauro Bianchi  (SAP moderator)
This issue with the internal number assignment occurs due to bufferingin the application server. Buffering increases the performance of theserver and documents don't loose their properties. Nevertheless, it may cause gaps in the internal number assignment and sometimes the numbers may not be chronologically assigned. As I stated before, this won't cause inconsistencies in the system and is usually not an inconvenient, unless you require sequential number assignment in your documents due
to legal reasons. In this case, you'll have to disable buffering in the application server.
in order to disable buffering Just access transaction SNRO and enter the Object type MATBELEGhttp:// Number Range for Material and Phys. Inventory Document In change mode, in the menu bar, please, follow the path:
    Edit -> Set-up buffering -> No buffering
Check note 62077 which describes this issue in detail

  • Changing the field content of 'wrbtr' in accounting document during Post Goods Issue in VL02N

    Hi Experts,
I have requirement ,where I need to  change the 'amount in document currency value (wrbtr)' in line item of a accounting document, which is created as part Post Goods issue through VL02N.
I have already check BADI's below as follows:-.
    1) LE_SHP_GOODSMOVEMENT- No accounting document information flows in this BADI.
    2) AC_DOCUMENT - Field 'WRBTR' is not available in substitutable fields list.
    3) BTE-1050 - This BTE is not getting triggered while doing PGI.
Please suggest any other possibilities to make the change.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Kartik,
I have checked the enhancement you specified, but it didn't trigger during PGI. Can u please let me know is there any other possibilities to make the change.

  • Multi-document Application using JTextPane - Issue

    Hi.
I'm making a java IDE as a class assignment where the user opens a certain project and all associated files open (i.e. all files in the requested folder). Opening is not an issue but here's the real problem. When a file opens (in the JTextPane), the user should be able to edit it. Although my program enables this, what also happens is that if the user switches onto viewing another file (i.e. clicking a file name from a tree in the file pane) the previously open file obviously closes and nothing is saved. I don't want to save the users edits in the actual file until and unless the user themselves click save, but 'd like the application to store the intermediate state of documents until a save request or until the program is terminated. Is there any easy way of doing this?
    Thanks.

  • No Accounting Document generated for goods issue in case of MTO scenario

    Hi all,
I have MTO scenario & the industry is trading. So I have all trading goods. In SPRO - Sales & Distribution - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction I have determined requirement type as KE.
In material master I have used strategy group as 20 for Make to order scenario. In the settings "Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction" I have determined the requirement type as "KE".
The requirement type "KE" determines a requirement class "040 - MkToOrdNoValW/o cons". Here the account assignment category is "E-Ind. cust. w. KD-CO".
Now I created a sales order, the system determined the requirement type as "KE". I saved the sales order, assigned the stock to the sales order  & created a delivery.
I did the PGI also. But when I check in the document flow, for the material document the system has not generated any FI document where we see the accounting document for the "cost of goods sold" & "inventory" G/L accounts. The system gives a message "Material document 4900000023 does not include an accounting document".
    Note:
    1. When I create the sales order with normal MTS scenario, the system creates an accounting document for the material document at the time of goods issue.
    2. The valuation class in the material is 3100 for trading goods.
    3. The following settings have been made in OBYC.
for GBB, the G/L accounts have been assigned for general modifier "BSA", "VAX", "VAY" & "VKA".
Please suggest me as to where i am missing any settings.
    With best regards,
    Niyaz Sayyed.

    Dear Niyaz Sayyed
You need to check in the following areas:-
    -  check whether the material is defined as non-valuated stock
    -  go to OME9, select your Account Assignment and see whether you have checked the box "GR non-valuated".   It should not  have been checked

  • No Accounting document generated during Goods Issue

    Hi All,
In MTO, when posting Goods Issue during an outbound delivery, no accounting document is generated.
However, the documents get generated during the billing cycle.
In MTS, however, accounting document is generated while posting Goods Issue.
    Plz advice.
    Anu

A few things you could verify.
Check your SD and FI integration.
Check the amount of the goods issued.
Check the pricing conditions as well.
