please help me in finding the document flow from sales order to invoice.Give me some document in pdf.
SD Transaction Code Flow:

To create a sales order we need purchase order number and custmer number. Before that, to create a purchase order we need to have material no, vendor no.
To create vendor tcode is
xk01(create), xk02(change) , xk03(display)
Tables are lfa1.
To create custmer tcode is xd01, xd02, xd03.
Table is kna1.
After creating sales order using this no we can create delivery note tcode is vl01.
Some of the basic steps for SD config in IMG:
1. Define atleast one Company Code
2. Define sales org, DC, Division, Soffice, Sales Grp
3. Define PLant, Shipping POint, Loading Point
4. Assign Sales org - company code
5. Assign Sales org- Dc & Sales org-Division
6. Assign Sales org + Dc - Plant
7. Assign Shipping point - plant & Loading point - Shipping point
8. Setup sales area & Assign Soffice - Sales area & Sogrp - Sales office
9.Define Sales doc type, Item Category & Scheduel Iine category + Delivery type, Billing type
10. Create partner determination, text determination & incompletion procedures
11. Create your own pricing procedure & text determination procedures (if you wanT0
12. Assign Sales doc type - sales areas
13. Determination of Item category, Scheldule line category
14.assignment of Storage location & Plant to Wearhouse no
15 .Create master data - Customer, Material, Cutomer material infor record, Condition & Output
16. Post stocks in plant
17. test by creating a sales order.
18. Set up all copy controls Sales doc - sales docs + Sales odc -delievry + Delievery - billing + Sales doc - billing etc
Define contracts, Item proposal etc as per requirement.
In short these are the some of the basic steps required to set up SD

Pdf file is not at the desktop to attach using GOS.
Pdf file is at Document Management System, requirement is to attach it to the sales order item.
Note: DMS file can be always allowed to attach at item level.Please dont bring GOS concept here.
It can be done manually via VA02 --> Extras --> Documents.
I need to automate the above process.

Create Billing Document from Sales Order (Without Delivery)
Dear Experts,
Pls note, presently we are creating Billing Document (VF01) from Outbound Delivery Number after Post Good Issue. All sales Document like Billing Document, Output Type, Invoice Type has been configured for this process and we are doing this without any error. Fyki, we have configured lots of Z Order, Billing & Delivery type to do this processes.
But for one of this order type we need not do any delivery. We want to create Billing Documents from sales order directly (without doing any Outbound Delivery).
So, would u pls advise the steps how can we configure and assign Order Type, Billing Type or any other type to meet above requirement.

There are two most important configuration:-
1) In VOV8 for your Order Type maintain the Order Related Billing Document
2) Maintain the Copy control setting in VTFA betwwen your Order Type and billing Type.
Also note that if your line item is not require to be delivered then for your Item category maintain (in VOV7) not relevant for delivery and not relevant for scedule line.

Company Code Validation of Financial Document with Sales order during Sales
Dears,
We are working on ECC 6.0 version and our requirement is to restrict saving the Sales order if the Company codes in Sales order and Financial document (L/C) when assigning Financial Document in Sales order are different.
With the configuration settings in Foreign Trade, it is possible to restrict this but the system only gives information message if the company codes are different but save the sales order.
Is it possible to restrict the sales order from saving if the Comapany codes are different through SAP standard configuration or do we need to go for any development only.
Looking forward to your suggestions.

for this task, there are good Userexits. I don't know any customizing for this.
I would do it in the roule of the copying or in the Userexit while saving the invoice. But this is in your point of view ABAP developement.

Outbound delivery document from Sales order
Hi ,
While creating the outbound delivery document from Sales order, all the line items of the Sales order are populated in the Delivery document. The line items where stock is not available, the line is still populated in the delivery document with zero quantity.
Pls suggest the way in config, so that at the time creation of the delivery document system to populate only the lines with the available stock.

I could not able to find any std transaction or config via you could restrict it. However you also no till 'Picking' not completed user is not able to make postings... so i couldnt see any issue in this.
Still you need to restrict this, you to configure User Exit via you can restrich the lin items to come in delivery for no stock item.

Change in document type while creating billing document from sales order
While creating billing document from Sales order it is creating with document type RV which is standerd one but i want to change Document type.
How can i change it?

If you use another existing document type, check that it has a number range suitable to you. Else create a new 'z' type and assign an entirely new number range, not used in the other doc types.
It is useful to make the FI document number the same number. If I understand from the forums, the FI number range must be external. Search the forum for this. It is very useful for the Finance people.

Attach electronic documents to sales order

I need to attach electronic documents to sales order, for example technical draw of an element which must be procured. (Furniture Industry).I believe it is not possible in standard system. Do you know any alternative solutions? Any advice will be helpful.

Transaction Variants and Screen Variants
Transaction variants can simplify transaction runs as they allow you to:
Preassign values to fields
Hide and change the 'ready for input' status of fields
Hide and change table control column attributes
Hide menu functions
Hide entire screens
In particular, hiding fields in connection with screen compression, and hiding screens, can result in greater clarity and simplicity.
Transaction variants are made up of a sequence of screen variants. The field values and field attributes for the individual screens found in transaction variants are stored in screen variants. Each of these variants is assigned to a specific transaction, can, however, also contain values for screens in other transactions if this is required by transaction flow. The transaction that the variant is assigned to serves as initial transaction when the variant is called.
There are both client-specific and cross-client transaction variants. All screen variants are cross-client, but may be assigned to a client-specific transaction variant.
A namespace exists for cross-client transaction variants and screen variants and both are automatically attached to the Transport Organizer. Client-specific transaction variants must be transported manually.
In principle, transaction and screen variants can be created for all dialog and reporting transactions. There are, however, certain Restrictions that apply to certain transactions, depending on their internal structure.
No transaction variants are possible with transactions already containing preset parameters (parameter transactions and variant transactions). -

The link between SD and MM :-
1. When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order,the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
There are many such links between SD and MM.
Now the link between SD and FI :-
1. Whenever you create a delivery with reference to a sales order, goods movement takes place in the bacgground. eg. In case of standard sales order, you create an outbound goods delivery to the customer.
Here movement 601 takes place. This movement is configured in MM. Also, this movement hits some G/L account in FI. Every such movement of good s hits some G/L account.
2. The accounts posting in FI is done with reference to the billing documents (invoice, debit note, credit note etc) created in SD. Thus this is a link between SD and FI
3. Tax determination: In case of a tax determination also, there is a direct link between SD and MM

Billing document to Sales order No / Shipment No

I would like to seek help on building up a customized program to retrieve information of Sales Order No and Shipment No from Billing document which has been released to accounting document (VBRK- RFBSK=C).
Could anyone advise on how to do this?
Could I use the document flow table VBFA? ... In which VBFA-VBELN=billing document number, and VBFA-VBTYP_N=M (Invoice)
Does anyone foresee perormance issue on this 2 tables joining?

you can retrieve Sales Order Details from VBAK & VBAP table, but Sales Order number and Sales Order Item Number you can retrieve from VBRP [ AUBEL - Sales Order Number & AUPOS Sales Order Item Number ]. Based on this you can develope a customized program.
Dont Prefer VBFA because the Performance of Table is very poor which will slow down your system.

Hi All,
We have activated Sales Order value flow to CO-PA (COPA doc.type "A"). We also have credit management activated.
When I create a sales order which has the credit status "not approved", then the order does not post any COPA document. Once the credit block is released in VKM1 for the sale order, the credit status changes to "Released" and COPA document is generated immediately.
The requirement is...the user wants to have COPA document generated irrespective of the credit status. i.e. even if the credit status is "not approved", it should create a COPA document.
Pl.let me know if anybody has come across this situation and how to solve it.

There is a note (Note No.214059) which gives us the option of using posting to CO-PA for credit blocked orders
I tried this and it works fine.
There is also one BADI available which can be used as an alternative to this note.
The advantage of BADI is that it can be used for any specific criteria like company, sales org., etc. whereas if you apply the above note, then this feature is applicable to all sale orders.

UI API issue, clicking base document on sales order does not set ActiveForm
I have a sales order window open with a sales order loaded. When I right click and click on base document, the sales quotation window shows up properly, however in code when I get the ActiveForm, it is the sales order form and not the sales quotation form!

The problem with form activated is that it is triggered everytime the window is "activated'. Meaning that if a user clicks out of the form and clicks back in, the form activated event is triggered.
I need to perform an operation only on the first time the form and data is loaded and/or activated.
