Sale Order flow to CO-PA

Hi All,
We have activated Sales Order value flow to CO-PA (COPA doc.type "A").  We also have credit management activated.
When I create a sales order which has the credit status "not approved", then the order does not post any COPA document.  Once the credit block is released in VKM1 for the sale order,  the credit status changes to "Released" and COPA document is generated immediately.
The requirement is...the user wants to have COPA document generated irrespective of the credit status.  i.e. even if the credit status is "not approved", it should create a COPA document.
Pl.let me know if anybody has come across this situation and how to solve it.

Srinivasan G

Hi
There is a note (Note No.214059) which gives us the option of using posting to CO-PA for credit blocked orders
I tried this and it works fine.
There is also one BADI available which can be used as an alternative to this note.
The advantage of BADI is that it can be used for any specific criteria like company, sales org., etc.  whereas if you apply the above note, then this feature is applicable to all sale orders.

    Tables are lfa1.
To create custmer tcode is xd01, xd02, xd03.
    Table is kna1.
After creating sales order using this no we can create delivery note tcode is vl01.

  • Sales orders flow - dates difference

    Dear All,
I need to build a model for a report which needs to have the days difference between the sales order creation date, delivery date, goods issue date  and billing date. The lowest level of detail should be the Sales Order/Item and one Sales Order/Item can origin different Delivery Items.
Base on this, i'm wondering how can i model this scenario...
    Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
    Nuno

    Hi,
I need to build a model for a report which needs to have the days difference between the
    Sales order creation date,
    Delivery date,
    Goods issue date ,
    Billing date.
In your question you didn't mension what differences you need
    Eg:
Sales order creation date - Delivery date
Goods issue date - Billing date
Sales order creation date - Billing date
Delivery date - Goods issue date
    Like what combination you need?.
    Steps:
Bring all InfoObejcts into Cube and once youn have all required InfoObecjts in your cube then in reporting level you can play like any thing. So first bring all Dates data into Cube. Use 0SD_C03 InfoCube with relavent datasources.
Then Use Formula Variables with Replacement pathes and then do simple Substractions at reporting level. Your problem is resolved.
See the below Article how I'm calculating Age of teh Material. Here I'm using Custome Exit Variable to get teh System Data, but in your case you don't need it, you just use Formula Variable with Replcemet Path and replace with Date and then do Substartion.

  • Stop the Sales Orders flow between R/3 and CRM systems.

    Hello Experts,
I am facing one middleware related issue.
I am creating a quotation and Order in Crm system an those are replicated to R/3.
But I am creating some orders in r/3 and those are alos replicating to CRM, I want to stop the flow of Orders between R/3 and CRM.
Please let me know where I have to do the changes.
    Thanks

    Hi,
What Debolina suggests would stop flow of Orders from CRM to R3.
But what i learn from your post is :
you wanna stop Orders flowing from R3 to CRM.
If m coorect in above, then teh solution for you is different:
You have to filter out the orders.
    Goto: R3AC1
    Select object : SALESDOCUMENT
Goto Filters tab and set the filter as desired.
This would stop the flow of Orders from R3 to CRM
Kindly reward with points in case helpful

  • Creation of sales order in CRM and replicating it to Multiple ECC system.

We have a requirement for creation of sales order in CRM and replicating it to Multiple ECC system.
We have checked the following standard Adapter objects in transaction R3AC1.
    BUS_TRANS_MSG
The initial flow contexts does not support target site type as R/3(SMOF_ ERPSITE). So we are not able to replicate the sales order from CRM
    to ECC.
        2. SALESDOCUMENT
Here the initial flow contexts does not support flow from CRM -> R/3 as we don’t see the target site as CRM.
Please let us know if the standard sap middleware objects don’t support the sales order flow from CRM to multiple ECC or is there any
other adapter object we need to use for this.

    Hey Vijay Duvvada,
I hope you are already referred below sap note  and which explains scope & how to do   -

  • Incompletion log Profitability Segment at item level in the Sales Order

    Hello Sapians,
We recently activated the "Sales Order value flow to COPA". When we create the Sales Orders the Profitability segment for the item is getting picked up automatically and have no issue in saving the Sales Order.
But when we edit the Sales Order and then try to save it, Sales Order has incompletion log which is leading to Profitability segment in the item level.
When I click the little box in Sales Order Item > Account Assignment tab> Profitability Segment forward arrow--> "continue" or "derivation" in the populated screen, then the Forward arrow in the profitability segment is deriving the characteristics, then system lets us to save the Sales order with out any incompletion log.
I checked the OSS notes 114520, in this OSS note, my sitiuation is exactly first point but could not get any clue how to resolve automatically.
Why it is happening only when we edit the Sales Order? How to update bulk of Sales Order automatically?
    Any inputs?
    Thank you.

    Hi
Since you have activated the Sales order flow to COPA, any change in the sales order triggers a Prof Segment redetermination.... Thats why you are able to save it once you redetermine the Prof Segment....
Ideally, if no Chars like Plant/Org Elements/etc are changed - It need not trigger the Prof Segment redetermination...
Refer  Note 729381 - When is a profitability segment supposed to be determined?.... With ref to this note, raise an OSS msg to SAP and check if it is possible to avoid the redetermination of PSG as long as none of the relevant chars are changed in the sales order....
There is a similar issue in MTO where by, even if you change the Header text of sales order, it triggers the Sales order cost estimate.... SAP provided a note to stop this... Note 1548608 & 1260868.... Your case is similar to this.... Raise an OSS to SAP and ask them if they can provide such a note for your case.... I feel, it should be possible for SAP to give this!

  • VMI intercompany Sales Order

    Hello,
I have question about VMI processing happening and APO and then going to R/3.
Standard VMI Process:  VMI Customer planning shows receipt as distibution receipt planned and supplying plant as distribution demand planned. When this Distribution demand planned data is sent to R/3 with TLB, it becomes VMI Sales order of type "TAV". When it comes back to APO, it stays at "Distribution Demand ( TLB Confirmed ) at source plant.
Our Process : We send this materials to international VMI Location which is like intercomapny Sales Order. So the with config inbound to R/3, we change sales order type when it arrives in r/3.  when this Sales Order goes back to APO, it shows up on Sales Order Line in SDP94 in APO . I want it to show up as "distribution demand TLB Confirmed" like normal VMI Process.
Is there any place where I can influence this config ?.
I tried changing in APOCF10 SMOD Project but Somewhere SAP's standard logic overwrites it.

    Hi James,
One method for this would be to change the ATP category of these special sales orders when they flow into APO from BM to something like ZS and then add this ZS category to the category group for Distribution demand Key figure in your SNP planning area.
You can use the exit "EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_SLS_001" in APO. This exit is called when sales orders flow from R/3 to APO. You can change the ATP category in this exit. But please ensure this custom ATP category is defined in APO configuration prior to the exit implementation.
    Hope this helps.
If you adopt any other method for this requirement, please do share with us...

  • Invoice for a Patially incomplete sales order

    HI all,
I have a sales order with say 3 line items. 1 line item has pricing incompletion and the rest 2 items are complete. i save the sales order with the incompletion. Then i create delivery for the 2 line items that are complete and post the PGI. The system allows me to do so and it is fine.
The problem comes when i try to invoice this delivery that has the completed items. It says that Sales Order number ##### has pricing incompletion. This makes me wonder why? I am invoicing the delivery which does not have that incomplete item. Why will the system look for incompletion from the sales order?
After looking into the Delivery to Invoice copy ctrl routine 004 at the item level, i found that it also checks for the pricing status of the reference sales order.
Has anyone faced this problem? Is there any other way out that modifying the routine?
    Thanks
    AriBis

    Hi,
I understand but why the Sales order should be incomplete with regards to pricing? Normally pricing is finalised before the Order is received.
If it is due to some other reason e.g. availability of material, system will not stop you to create the Invoice.
ALSO I feel that since pricing from Sales order flows only into the Invoice and not in the Delivery document, so pricing at the Sales order has to be complete for creation of Invoice.
Another solution to this problem can be: change your Incompletion procedure so that pricing is not checked. But again this is not the best practice.

  • Billing Block in Customer Master does not default into Sales Order (VA01)

I put a billing block into the customer master but it is not defaulting the billing block when I create a new sales order for that customer.  Do you have any tips please for what could be wrong?

    Hi,
The billing block you set in customer master or by XD05 is not meant for to flow in sales order(flow to va01).
That is meant for block customer for sales/delivery/billing
If you want this block default in va01 then you can set it for document type by VOV8
