I have created a Z document type.but its not allowing me to assign in mm02.what might be the problem..? its throwing an error message Document type ZD does not allow you to assign to object MARA.

You need to enable object linking to mara on your new document type. Go to Tcode DC10, select the document type and then go to the object links area. Create a new object link for your document type.

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Exactly the same question I was about to post!
Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!
Come on Apple!!
Just need an option for the calender event to add to reminder or the old drag to add to reminder functionality back, Please???

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN2-Status does not allow you to change certain data

Hi Gurus,
I am uploading the DIR attached files for the Documents in PLM. We have a custom program written to upload the attached files. When I tried to upload the file I am getting the BAPI Return error as "Status does not allow you to change certain data". The status of all the documents is "RL"
File format is
Doc type Document No Rev File Name
JPS 0021581PS, X, /in/PLM/JAPAN/Files/0021581PS.xls
Please help me I need to upload the data.

Check the status network for your doc type in config. You may find that the current status may not allow you to make changes. You may need to change the current status to another status before you can make the changes you would like.
The config settings will tell you the status you may set in order to make your changes, if they are allowed.

Message : Document type doesnot allow you to assign to object VBAP

Hi All,
I am attaching a document that is been created through CV01N to transaction VA02 at item level.when i am trying to put that document no. at item level on the Extras-Documents- system is giving me a message as "Document type doesnot allow you to assign to object VBAP".
similarly if i take this document no from F4 screen,it comes but when i check the same after saving the document gets disappeared.
while the same document is getting attached at material master easily.
I think some customization is missing for the same..plz let me what i need to do to resolve the same.

Hi Sandeep,
The mentioned error message indicates to me that you do not have maintained the object VBAP in transaction DC10 to your relevant document type.
Please see the WIKI page https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/plm/ca-dms-Object+link for all necessary customizing settings to achieve a proper object link behavior.
Further please check if note 1034682 could be also relevant for you, because I do not know your current release.
After all the settings in DC10 and TDWOD are maintained the document should be linked to the VBAP objects.

Wondering if this is a bug - we have serveral different accepted domains, and our users within our org might have different primary SMTP domains - some @nwtraders.com and some @contoso.com - as examples.
We had a user today report an issue where they were trying to use the 'share calendar' button in Outlook 2010 and then typed in the SMTP address of someone in our org in the field of whom to share with, but that address had a different SMTP domain
than the user's (but still in our org). When she tried to send the sharing request she received a popup stating:
Calendar sharing is not available with the following entries because of permission settings on your network:
<intended smtp address>: Your organization's policy does not allow you to share with this recipient.
I thought it might be related to freeform typing in the address - if I hand type out the address with a valid SMTP address within the same SMTP domain, and press send it works.
If I use the address picker, and pick the intended sharing recipient (who's has an SMTP domain that is different that the senders), it works fine. It only seems to have an issue when you manually type out the address and it's not in the same SMTP domain
as you....
Could this 'problem' be masked with setting up Sharing policy between all of our authoritative domains?

Looks like Microsoft has an answer as to whether this is to be expected: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983062/en-us In my research into this, the error you are receiving is a common thing people have run into and they are all using the solution MS lists

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. Are you the administrative contact on your Creative Cloud team subscription? The admin user doesn't receive the same set of services as a full seat, so you will have a Typekit Trial plan instead of the Portfolio plan.
You have the option of upgrading to the Portfolio level, though. If you would like to do that:
1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio
Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.

Devices line in iPhoto does not allow you to sync but it does in iTunes

When I to into Itunes my Ipod shows up and you click on the Devices and you can choose to sync what you want.
However in iPhoto the devices line shows up but the Mac does not allow you to choose to sync i.e. the photos.
Also the sceen it jumps into seems to only deal with importing photos---this is different that before.
Can anyone help with this?

I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Why, after pasting a weblink into my emails and sending them it does not allow you to click on them to open directly to the website? (It just started doing that)

When I copy and paste the weblink to a particular website I wish to paste into an email I'm sending it just pastes it in 'black & white' and after I send it it will not allow you to open it up in the email...It does not create a 'weblink.' You have to copy and paste the link into the address toolbar and then hit enter. Then it will take you to the weblink.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

New Document Type Created but not allowing posting under that Document type

Hi Gurus,
I have created new document type 'JV' & assigned number ranges to that document type. But when I started posting the entries under this document type, system has thrown one error 'NO ACCOUNTING TRANSACTION VARIANT ASSIGNED TO FB01/JV'
Now after assigning transaction 000 (unspecified posting) & varaint 0001 to document type JV I can able to post the entry under this document type. (Classify document type for document spitting)
But I am not still sure whether my assignment to this particular document type is correct or not?
What is the basic criteria on the basis of which we have to select this assignment to particular document type?

What you have defined is correct. Since you are defining the document type jv meant for any type of posting and not restriciting like payments/receipts/vendors/customers.

I tried to download an update for Adobe to view Youtube. I bought a new computer and needed the download. I went through all the steps and got to the section of reading the license agreement. However, look as I did, there is no place to mark Accept the license agreement so I can proceed to download the update. Why is this so difficult?
