When i upload or view documnet in easy dms it is show ftp erro and when right click on document only one time open this document thru sap and all opration is done from easy dms please guide us where is proble

SharePoint 2013 document library, permissions to upload and view shared document only

SharePoint 2013 document library I want to give access to client where they can upload and view their uploaded document and can see all documents shared with them.
I have managed to show all document shared with them only by deactivating a feature but now they can't upload any document, If I create a permission set to allow them to upload documents, they will see all other documents as well which are not shared with them.
Any suggestions?

Hi Sharaqat, the best way to handle your situation is to have a separate library or site for the client. You could use item level permissions per Thilosh, but fine-grained permissions become a major headache. You could also use web parts and audience
targeting, but that's not truly secure.

I am thinking to have a separate document library for client, where they can upload/view/edit etc, we will upload documents in a "secure" library with a column saying this is a private document or public document, if we mark a document public,
a workflow will move that document to the client's document library. I don't think there would be a problem to move a document from 1 library to another in a workflow.
That's the easiest solution I have found so far.

Uploading and view an document in application server from abap

I have a similar requirement:
i need to upload a docuement into SAP under a particular system generated unique No.
My basis team has given a file path in application server.
So i need to upload and view(Not Downloading) that uploaded document at any time in future.
Note : Each System generated no is having different documents.

DMS Document upload: does it pass through sap DMS ?

Dear All,
We have a question concerning the transmission of documents from the client to DMS and the Content Server: does the document need to pass through the sap server ?
Document upload (create document CV01N)
Does the document go directly from the client to the Content server OR does it pass through the sap DMS before to be stored in the CS ?
Document download (read document CV03N)
Does the document go directly from the CS to the client OR does it pass through the sap DMS server ?
This could be interesting to know for network performances.

is the cache server a default funtionality from the content server or any configuration is required from our part.
is that the cache server acts as the RAM of our system?
please explain the partitioning or biferfication of the Content server, as you told
content server is divided into storage catagories and this in turn in to content repositories,
please clarify below points,
1)any server or PC can be made as Content server by insatalling the content server CD if iam right ?
2) Practical and funtional benifits of partitioning content server into content repositories is it for authorization and storing data by naming convection or can it also help in copiying data from a specific content repository if needed, ( is content repositories a logical partition or practical partition like B,C,D, F drives of our PC hard disk)
3) can /should there be multiple content server installation for a particular (production) client.
4) Can Archiving be done say by creating a separate content repository inside the same Content server, or is it mandatory to have a separate archiving server itself,

Hi, anybody knows what are the options that I have to build a program (Java or PLSQL) for uploading files on the DB9i Standard Edition? Is there any program out-of-the-box?

I am looking for some examples on this too. It must have been done many times before!
Basically I will require a Web PL/SQL coded front end to build the HTML.
I need a browser open file dialog to allow me to select a file and then a button that will then process the form and upload the binary document file to the table. This is preferably with MIME Type etc. encoded or stored along side in a separate column.
I will then need a reverse mechanism to allow me to open the document via a hyperlink on the browser screen.

Log in information required to upload and view website

When I like to upload my iweb site I am asked to log in to my .mac account. Once the page is uploaded, viewers are also asked to log in with my account name and password. How can I change that?

I tried to enter the page again today but got the same window: In order to see the page I had to enter my id and password. Afterwords I could get into it. The problem was, that the people, whom I send the site address, had to do the same thing. - I don't like to give out my password and id.

Site Upload and Download Problems.

hi, i seem to be having a problem with CS3 when im trying to upload my site and also get conflict when trying to dowload another site to my laptop, i never had this problem before as when i was working on a site then hit save it automatically uploaded what i had done, this time im having to use the Put action and end up uploading the whole site, now i cant seem to see the updated work on the live site when ive done it and its driving me nuts. Secondly, i dont understand why im getting conflict when im trying to download another site to a different folder to my site, please advise, it must be something really simple and im just not picking up on it, any help will be appreciated.

VangieChuck the problem is definitely not iTunes it is your ISP download provision. Either your ISP needs to make a service call and solve your bandwidth issues or you need a better service, granted it all depends where in the world you are located. In Kappy's and my neck of the woods we are use to 5 - 250 Mbps download rates with an average of about 25 mbps for most city dewellers. Upload will vary depending on your service.

Upload and downloading problems.

Yesterday, when trying to upload a photo, I hit the upload button, expecting the generic "choose file" window to open. It didn't however, and the same response happens when I try to download something. It changes my cursor, as if it's trying to process my request, but the window never opens, and it's not hidden behind my browser. I've searched through the options, trying to find something I might have done on accident to cause the error, but none of them seem even remotely related to my problem. Even when I turned my firewall off, it wouldn't open the window.
Any suggestions?

I do not understand your question is it just not apararece window download options?
If so, try going to the menu Edit - Preferences
Once there, under the tab "General" in the downloads section, check the option "choose where to save files" is selected

It depends on which 60G iPod you have. If you have a 5th generation 60G iPod then "the fellow" was telling the truth. If, on the other hand, you have a 4th generation 60G iPod, then the people at apple were telling the truth. Since you indicate you found "Movies" listing in a menu, I would assume you own a iPod with video capabilities. The catch is, the movies have to be in either MPEG4/AAC or H.264/AAC format and meet specific regirements withing the format. No, it does not play DVDs, but it is possible and leagal back up your own videos (or commercial movies under the "fair use" concept) if you have a permanent lease on their use.

You may wish to start off with something easy -- like some movie trailers or public domain movies which are already in a digital file format and need only be converted to a proper format for loading to an iPod. Sharepoint Document Upload and trigger an event

We are using CRM Online and SharePoint Online (o365). I have integrated CRM and SharePoint. The need is to upload a predefined excel template with filled data to SharePoint.
As soon as file is uploaded, we need to trigger a custom workflow at SharePoint side which will read and parse through the uploaded excel and store yield data in an On-Premise Database.
Here is what I have thought about the approach:
Write a Web API which will receive request for storing data in on Premise database with input parameter as the object which needs to be pushed. This request will come from workflow triggered at SharePoint. I am not sure if this is workable and if We
have something like thing feasible in SharePoint o365.
Also, please suggest if the approach can be taken differently altogether and simplify things for yield upload.

You could read data of excel file by the “call http web service” action in the workflow to call excel web service in SharePoint, then write the web API as you said to store data in an On-Premise Database, and then call the web API in the workflow by the
“call http web service” action.

Controller and view problem

When I call a Controller from a View there is any way to get in the controller the name of the View who calls the controller?

Easy DMS document type issue

Hi Gurus,
DMS configuration done in SAP R/3 and able to see all configured document types in sap easy dms as well. But document description wrongly showing under document types.
SAP R/3                                                       EASY DMS
Eg:1   ZSD sales document                          Eg 1 : ZSD    material document
Eg 2 ZMM material document                      Eg2:   ZMM    sales document.
Please help me on this.

In SAP r/3 , document type & document description correctly given but while in EasyDMS document type picking incorrect document description. Remains no issue in easyDMS.

Easy DMS - problem with object linking (unicode client)

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem concerning linking a materialmaster to a DIR in a uniciode environment. I tested following scenarios:
1) Easy DMS 6.00 SP10 non unicode + non unicode Backend --> no problem
2) Easy DMS 6.00 SP10 non unicode + unicode Backend        --> no problem
3) Easy DMS 6.00 SP10 unicode        + non unicode Backend --> no problem
4) Easy DMS 6.00 SP10 unicode        + unicode Backend         --> problem
Following Problem appears in scenario 4:
Our Material Number Format is ______-____-___ (6 digits - 4 digits - 3 digits), "Lexicographical" is disabled, "Leading Zeros" is enabled.
When I type in material number "111111-2222-333" and press "check all objects and read description" Easy DMS reads the description for
111111-2222-333 but after that easy dms changes 111111-2222-333 to 000001-1111-122 and when I try to save the DIR it tells me that
000001-1111-122 is not a valid material master.
As I mentioned this only appears with the unicode client + unicode backend. Any Ideas?

please tell us which version of EasyDMS you use currently. If you do not use EasyDMS 6.00 SP10 I would kindly ask you to see SAP note 1105699 and download this SP from the Service Marketplace.

Number of Hits On a Document in Easy DMS

Hi ,
How to catch the Hit on a document.
I need to count the number of hits on a document in Easy DMS.
I have tried with BADI :DOCUMENT_FILES01 and Method : BEFORE_START_APPL .
this is triggered when I try to open the file using CV02n Tcode but When I am trying catch through the Easy DMS screen ,
I am not abt to do that.( BADI is not triggered )
Is ther any BADI for that ?
And one more ...While creation of new document , Can we avoid same description for two documents in the same folder in Easy DMS( I am able do it the same in Cv01n and cv02n ) ?
