Documentation for FMS with IIS?

I have installed FMS without Apache, since I already have IIS running on my server.  I have noticed that Apache seems to be the default web server to use with FMS; hence the abundance of documentation and notes Adobe has provided.  However, I can't find any documentation on how to configure FMS with IIS.  Is there any(documentation) from Adobe or anywhere else?
I would like to be able to run both video clips (RTMP and HTTP) from the Samples section of Flash Media Server 3.5/webroot/index.html.
Thanks.

Jay, thanks your reply!
Below are the variables and values that I have in conf/fms.ini
VOD_DIR = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications\vod\media
SERVER.HTTP_ENABLED = true
HTTPPROXY.HOST = 23.28.193.9:80
I'm able to ping 23.28.193.9, however I can't successfully pull-up anything in a browser from it.  I have tried the following:
//sample.html is a page I created in the media directory
http://23.28.193.9/applications/vod/media/sample.html
http://23.28.193.9/webroot/index.html
http://23.28.193.9/index.html
And I did restart FMS.
FYI, I am using VirtualPC; so my server and client OS are all on one CPU

  • SAP documentation for working with BExRepositorySheet?

Can someone point me to where I can find some documentation for programmatically working with the BExRepositorySheet, in particular reading from and writing to the embedded XML script within that sheet.
As I wrote in an earlier thread (BEx 7.0 -- SAPBEXqueries hidden sheet gone -- where is the data stored now?), what I'm trying to do is re-program a very elaborate Excel VBA solution we built for BEx 3.5 to automate the processing of BEx reports by reading the stored variable values in the SAPBEXqueries sheet, but with that sheet gone in BEx 7.0 now, and all that meta-data being stored in BExRepositorySheet XML script instead, I need to be pointed in the right direction as to how to work with the BExRepositorySheet in BEx 7.0.
Thank you kindly for any information.

    Hi Stephan,
please see link [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/VC/WhatisWebAPI|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/VC/WhatisWebAPI] that contains a reference to a 300+ pages PDF document describing the Web API commands. It is describing the ABAP Web Runtime for BW 3.5 which also exists in BW 7.0.

  • Product documentation for download with associated product

I have a client that would like to list products on a website. These products will have documents associated with them. Is it possible to use the Media Download Module to upload all my documents and have them available for download with each corresponding product? Can I use the product database to make this happen? How do I associate the documents with each individual product?
Each document would be unique to the associated product and I would like to make the process of associating documents for download as easy/painless as possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont exactly know where I should start looking.

    Hello Lucas_J,
You can, from the product description wysiwyg, use the hyperlink manager to get a link to the document needed for the product. Once you've selected the media download you want; select the url, copy and paste it into a custom field.
Then within the Large Product Layout, set up that custom field to be inside of an a tag:
<a href="{tag_custom 1}">use tag for product name or give generic default</a>
That to me would be the easiest you could make it.
    Hope this helps,

  • Documentation for Integrating with Peoplesoft

does anyone know where I can access the technical documentation our developers need in order to develop an integration with the Peoplesoft application?  We have a client who currently uses PeopleSoft and they asked we integrate with PeopleSoft so they can send orders to us and receive results.

Unless you are familiar with PeopleSoft, I would think your client should guide you in this integration. PeopleSoft has various ways to communicate with the "outside" world and I can give you the link to the PeopleTools PeopleBooks (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/psft_homepage.htm) but I highly doubt that will help you when you don't have any experience with PeopleSoft.
Easiest option with sending to an outside application and receiving results is, in my opinion, still a webservice. But then your client should do some work as well otherwise they will never be able to send anything at all. Direct link to documentation on PeopleTools 8.52 would be http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E41509_01/pt852pbh2/eng/psbooks/tibr/book.htm

  • How do I access compacted mail on a Mac version 10.5.8 stuck with Thunderbird version 16.0.2 ? I am unable to access needed documentation for Taxes, etc

How do I access compacted mail on a Mac version 10.5.8 stuck with Thunderbird version 16.0.2 ? I am unable to access needed documentation for Taxes, etc

Where in the world did you read Deleting All My Mail? I have reread my answer several times and cannot seem to find that in there.
When you mark a message for deletion it does just that. It marks it for deletion and hides the message. It is not truly deleted until you compact.
My point is that unless you deleted your important mail they should still be there somewhere.
Your question was about compacting and thinking it put your messages in a nice little box for safe keeping and now you want to open it.
I have to agree that Thunderbird did a horrible job of naming this process because most are like you and do not understand what it actually does. I included the link to the explanation of what compacting means in the Thunderbird world.
Your messages may still be available to your but finding them has nothing to do with compacting.
Thunderbird does not archive anything unless you use that process by selecting the message and pressing a. You have the option to setup where you want that archive to go and what folders to make.
The All Mail folder is a goofy gmail arrangement. If you have problems with that then you need to address that with Google.
If you go into your gmail account on the gmail site do you see the messages you are hunting in the All Mail folder there?

  • Integration documentation for sap sd with fico and mm

    hi Sappers,
I need Documentation for SAP SD with FICO and MM Module
    its very urgent.
    mail id : [email protected]

    <b>Some basic information :</b>
    FI-MM: The integration between FI-MM happens in T-code: <b>OBYC</b>
      1. When PO is created :
    No Entry -
      2. When GR is posted
Inventory Account dr (Transaction Key BSX in OBYC)
To GRIR account (T.Key WRX in T-code OBYC)
      3. When Invoice is posted
          GRIR account Dr.
          Vendor account  Cr.
      4. Payment made to Vendor
          Vendor A/c Dr
                To Bank Clearing A/c Cr.
Points to know : Movement Types, Assignment of Movement types to T-keys (T-code OMJJ), Value string (I also need some information on this) , OMWN and OMWB transactions.
There is a close integration b/w FI & MM, actually document flows from MM to FI in the following areas such as,
    <u> 1. Movement Types:</u>
Used to enable the system to find the predefined posting rules determining how the accounts of financial accounting system are to be posted & to update the stock fields in the matrl master data.(Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, etc)
    <u> 2. Valuation Class:</u>
Assignment of material to grp of gl account, used to determine the gl accounts that are updated as a result of goods movement.
    <u>3. Transaction/Event key:</u>
Used to control the storage or filing of documents & assignment of documents.Used to differeniate b/w various transactions such as goods movement tht occur in inventory.
    <u> 4. Material Type:</u>
Each material should assign mtrl type in mtrl master record used to update whether changes made in qty are updated in material master record & change in value also updated in stock account.
    <u><b> FI-SD Integration:</b></u>
The integration is done in T-code VKOA
    <u>  1. Sales Order Created</u>
            -No Entry-
      <u>2. PGI done (Goods issue)</u>
Cost of Goods Sold     Dr (Configured in OBYC GBB T-Key)
               To Inventory Account
    <u>  3. Billing document released to Accounting</u>
            Customer Account Dr.
To Sales Revenue Account (ERL T-key in Pricing procedure)
Note : The GL account is assigned to this ERL in VKOA
    <u> 4. Payment Received</u>
            Bank Clearing A/c Dr
                           Customer A/c Cr.
Points to Know : Good to understand the pricing procedure and how the different transaction keys are used like ERL, ERS etc

  • Documentation for USRP 1.1 with Ettus N210

Where can I find documentation for using USRP 1.1 with the Ettus N210 device?  The documentation that comes with USRP 1.1 has a tiny blurb on the N210 that points to the documentation for NI 292x devices for details.  There, I find:
"For Ettus Research devices, use internal names to refer to the internal connectors inside the device case."
I'm trying to understand how to use the API to receive upon the LFRX-LF DC-50 MHz receiver daughter board.  The two connectors on that board are labeled "RX-A" and "RX-B", but I can't get those names to work, nor can I get "RF1" or "RF2" to work (the names on the case).
    Any suggestions?
Ultimately, I'd like to stream data from both connectors at the same time, if that's possible.

    Hi ejubenville,
Support for the LFRX 0-30 MHz daughter board was just added to the NI-USRP driver in version 1.1 and documentation for this daught board is limited.  While support for the LFRX is listed, I saw no mention to the LFRX-LF 0-50 MHz daughter board.  I expect that your daughter board will work, but if not this may be part of the reason.
As far as the driver is concerned, the Ettus N210 and the NI-292x devices will be configured the same so there is not different documentation for the N210.  I would try using RX1 and RX2 which are the names used for the other daughter boards.

  • TREX for ISA 7.0 installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.0 issues

We have just finished upgrading our ERP dev system to EHP4.  We have also upgraded our Portal with SAP E-Commerce to Netweaver 7.0 EHP1 and  ISA 7.0.  Both systems were on Windows Server 2003 and have been moved to Server 2008R2 through a System copy.  TREX was installed on the same host as our Portal/ISA system.
After the move I reinstalled TREX 7.1 v44 on the same host as our Portal and ISA 7.0 system which is Server 2008R2 with IIS 7.0.
Everything on the TREX side is in status Green.  I have tested the rfc and http connections. On the ERP side, I have deleted the catalogs from SRMO and re-ran "ISA_CATALOG_REPLICATION" many times.
B2B still will not connect and I have traced down an error on the TREX side that I am assuming is the cause:
    - When I kick off a catalog replication job from our R3 system I get these errors in the TrexIndexServerAlert_<host>.trc file:

    Hi Neil,
We have exactly the same problem. We installed a new SAP E-Commerce system on Microsoft Windws 2008 R2 with TREX Version 7.10.43.00. The TREX connection is okay. Also the catalogue replication works without any problems. The SAP support means it is a permission problem on the IIS. The problem isnu2019t solved yet and the message to the SAP support is in process.
What is your effect with this link?

  • Feedback on corporate decision to include documentation for new version together with old

    Re:
...That is the intent for the documentation for CS6: that it be in the same document as CS5 and CS5.1...
Every single Adobe executive up the chain of command who is even partially responsible for that astonishing, feeble-minded decision henceforth deserves the unqualifed epithet of idiot.
    Waaaay beyond angry!
We know the engineers and developers are not among that group of morons.  I'm referencing the Adobe corporate, bureaucratic zombies.
No comment or response is expected as any explanation would be as futile as inherently incredible.

A "What's new" in the front of an old manual does not make a new manual. What it does make is a very unprofessional mess, lacking contents, index, and organization. This is pathetic.

  • Using IPTV Manager With IIS??

Has any one tried configuring the IPTV Manager to work with IIS?

    OK, Just being curious.
The documentation has some examples for creating web pages using embedded plugins, including program directories (in a drop-down menu).
I have a standing demo at work that uses the web page / embedded plug-ins that's pretty much just the demos in the book edited to match our system.
That'll cover the user-side; I'm not sure if the Content Manager functions can be re-mapped to another system. Most of the actual functions are handled in perl, so I suppose it's just a matter of linking up the perl scripts to a different page.
Another approach may be to use the Windows Media Streaming system to control the addition of content, and use the web page w/ plug-ins to stream it to the end users. IPTV and WIndows Media system will work cooperatively. Basically, they just share a single content directory.
If I get a chance, I'll play with it and see what I can come up with. We have at least one of each Cisco IPTV units in the Lab, along with some MS W2K servers.
    Good Luck

  • Using 9iAS Portal with IIS

    Hi!
First, is it possible to use 9iAS with IIS as http - listener, and not Apache?
    If so:
Has anyone found any documentation / howto's on IIS and 9iAS?
Will everything work transparent of the IIS webserver, ex. Oracle Reports integration, PDK (iFrame Portlet ++), Single Sign on?
    Has anyone done this?
    Ketill

Umm, IIS runs ASP pages, which can be written either in VBScript or JScript. Servlets cannot be embedded in or called from within ASP pages. I guess they could be invoked via an HTTP redirect or by creating under-the-hood HTTP connection to the servlet, but that's nasty and circuitous. I'd really recommend finding a way to do what you want in ASP.
Servlets/JSP's require a Java-based container to run in. There are Servlet containers that work with IIS - check out Tomcat @ jakarta.apache.org
As for the second question, any Java code can be run from within a Servlet - what's stopping you from using that exact code snippet to do what you want to do?
