It looks like there is!
Within Studio, click on the 'Documentation' flap on the bottom of the screen.
Then, open the project flap, and navigate to Catalog -> Fuego -> Fdi
Double click on any of the individual components, and its documentation will appear within the documentation flap on the lower portion of the screen.
If you don't see any documentation, check the tabs at the top of the documentation flap - the tabs allow you to switch between the documentation for the current method you're working on, and the component you've selected.

Does anyone have documentation regarding the distribution accounting type of APAF?

The AP Accounting Entry Type (distribution accounting type) as delivered by PeopleSoft we are most familiar with is "APA" which stands for Accounts Payable Accrual. We are not able to find any reference or documentation regarding AP Accounting Entry Type "APAF". However, after analyzing the AP payment accounting transactions associated with APAF, we believe that the APAF type only shows up when a credit is deducted from a payment. The AP voucher that has the APAF type is the last voucher that indicates that the entire credit amount has been applied to that particular payments. A credit amount may take several vouchers to be fully applied. Documentation or authoritative information would be helpful.

Have some doubt regarding the weblog (Lookup's in XI made simpler)

I have created the same scenario as mentioned in Siva's weblog (Lookup's in XI made simpler).
I having some doubts regarding the scenario, it will be great if you help me to resolve the same.
I am having a file-file scenario where I need to do lookup in database(MS-Access) through mapping.
The standard file-file scenario is in place and in addition I have created a receiver jdbc channel . I have also created the receiver agreement for the same in the cofiguration.
While creating the receiver agreement you have to specify the interface name which includes the message typeI have specified the normal format which we specify while configuring the jdbc receiver adapter.
In the message mapping I have created a advance user defined function as mentioned in your weblog which calls my receiver jdbc channel.
I have also specified the select query to be executed in the mapping program.
While testing I am getting the following error
Cannot produce target element /ns0:Role_MT/URole. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
<b>Can you please suggest me what all I need to do in addition to the file-file scenario for this lookup scenario to work.</b>

Documentation regarding dtsx packages

Hi,
Does there exist any documentation regarding the creation of dtsx packages.
Apart from on the forum, we have been unable to locate any documentation regarding the creation of dtsx packages.
We would like to know things such as what DataTransferMode and ProcessMode controls, and what the various tasks that you can use within dtsx packages are.
We are using SAP BPC 7.0 SP6 on SQL Server 2005. We plan to upgrade to BOPC 7.5 on SQL Server 2008 R2 next year.

There is particularly one speaking about the creation of SSIS packages (for BPC 5.x and SQL 2005). But there is nothing really new in BPC 7.5 an SQL 2008, except that the dll used for BPC tasks are now called for example "OsoftTaskAdmin2008.dll" for SQL 2008, instead of "OsoftTaskAdmin.dll" for SQL 2005.

          I'm creating a servlet filter that filters the content of resources that are proxied
          by the Weblogic Proxy servlet (weblogic.servlet.proxy.HttpProxyServlet)
          The filtering of the content is working but getting the filtering of incoming
          and outgoing headers is a problem.
          I get ClasscastExceptions if I try to implement my own request wrapper in WL 7
          SP2 (incoming headers). And filtering headers in the response wrapper (outgoing
          headers) causes a IndexOutOfBoundsException. This is caused by a call to response.setHeader
          in the wrapper.
          Has someone managed to get header filtering to work?

This looks like a bug in the ProxyServlet. I would report this to support.

WebLogic proxy plugin: getPooledConn: No more connections in the pool

We have weblogic proxy plugin installed in Sun One web server. but frequently we are getting following errors in proxy log:
<1670612410085901> attempt #0 out of a max of 5
<1670612410085901> Trying a pooled connection for '<IP>/<port>/<port>'
<1670612410085901> getPooledConn: No more connections in the pool for Host [<IP>] Port[<port>] SecurePort[<port>]
Can anybody please tell how this proxy plugin manages connection pools? I don't find any minimum / maximum number of conection to mention anywhere or how exactly it works?

Try increasing the "AcceptBackLog" settings on the weblogic server and then verify for any changed behavior.
Raise the Accept Backlog value from the default by 25 percent. Continue increasing the value by 25 percent until the messages cease to appear.

My internet connection keeps reverting back to using a manual proxy server configuration pointing at 127.0.0.1 Port 55414. I've tried the help regarding the user.js and prefs.js files but still it continues to revert to the manual proxy configuration!

I know how to change my network settings to fix my internet connection, I just select "Auto-detect network settings for this network" under Tools, Options, Network, Settings. However every time I close down Firefox it reverts to the manual proxy configuration pointing to 127.0.0.1 Port 55414.
I've tried all the suggestions under saving your preferences but this hasn't worked so I'm at a loss as to what to do next. If I can't sort this I'll have to revert back to Internet Explorer as this doesn't have this problem!

Error in generating the Java Proxy

In the Integration Repository documentation for External Definitions you find a hint where you can find a document describing restrictions on the handling of XSD.
In that document you can see, that references to global elements are not supported by the java proxy generation.
Therefore, you have to edit your document accordingly.

Has "anyone!!" managed to use the WebLogic MQ Adapter

Its been weeks altogether now that I have been struggling with the WebLogic MQ
Adapter on Version 7.0 of weblogic integration.
I havent been able to use the Adapter yet.

Well... I went to use the Windows Explorer (you know, the directory list is a tree view) to see if I could select more than one node by using multiselection. I found what I expected... just one one was allowed to be selected. So I guess what you are facing is a misconception of the tree view funcionality.
Anyway, you are right about the HasMultipleSelection attribute. if you want to implement drag & drop features you can use the IsDragable attribute. I am pasting here the info you can find in the Forte Manual:

The IsDraggable attribute (boolean) specifies whether or not the nodes in the tree view field can be dragged by the end user. Installing new Secuirty provider on the WebLogic Server

I think you guys can find a solution for the problem i'm facing in configuring
the weblogic server. I'm evaluting the server a possible client and need to relpy
to him regarding the possible purchase before the mid of next week.
Problem: The problem i'm facing is as follows. I wrote a web service, I'm trying
to install a new service provider on the server. I did copied the jar files to
the java_home\jre\lib\ext directory and did made the change to the java.security
file as suggested in the "Professiona Java Security" book by wrox publication
. But when i run the code it doesn't works on the BEA Server. Even though i tested
successfully on the java server.
The client wwritten in Java works fine. but the server, when tries to make call
to service, it fails on the call to the Encryption algorithm class.
Does any one of you have a solution for this problem. I'm waiting for your reply.

Looks like you have not run the post upgrade script for 10.1.3.4.
You need to install SOA 10.1.3.4 Basic Installation. Then start following : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12524_01/core.1013/e13058/weblogic.htm#BHCIIBFB
You basically, first install 10.1.3.4 basic SOA install, Apply the Opatch 7337034 (HOTPLUG: SOASUITE 10.1.3.4 ON WEBLOGIC 9.2 - CHANGES FOR HOTPLUGGABILITY). Install WLS 9.2 MP3.
Now, Download the Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 WebLogic Server 9.2 : patch : 7490612.
Then , Modify the following mandatory installation properties in the Weblogic_SOA10134_Base\SOADomain.properties file as per the documentation above.

The class doesn't seem to be documented in the normal documentation, but
you can get an overview of the methods by executing
javap weblogic.management.Admin
with weblogic.jar in your classpath.

Hardware Load Balancers and Cluster WebLogic Proxy Plug-in setting

Documentation states that we need to enable the Cluster WebLogic Proxy Plug-in setting when there is a proxy plugin or HttpClusterServlet configured.
We used to have Weblogic Proxy plugin and the setting is still there, also the proxy was replaced by the hardware loadbalancer. Everything works normally and no one complained, but I would assume that WebLogic Proxy Plug-in setting should not be applicable any longer.
Is it possibly harmful to have that setting there? Does it mean that the loadbalancer emulates WebLogic Proxy Plug-in and also need this set?

The Weblogic Proxy Plug-in Enabled flag only affects the behavior of a WL proxy module (such as if you were using Apache to proxy to WL via the mod_wl.so module). The value controls what IP address is returned when you call request.getRemoteAddr() from your application. If not enabled, you will get the IP address of the web server that proxied the request. If enabled, you will get the remote client IP address (instead of the proxy IP address) facilitated by the WL-Proxy-Client-IP header. If you are no longer using a plug-in module, the setting will have no affect. Hope this helps...
