Does anyone have an example VI about how to call the animatewindow function in the user32.dll using CLN in Labview?

I want to call the WinAPI function-animatewindow in user32.dll to produce some special effect when showing or hidding windows, but i don't know how to using this Win API to achieve my purpose?
Does anyone have an example VI about this application?

You have to use the Call Library Function Node to call Windows API functions. The animatewindow function itself has some pretty simple parameters. You first need to get the window handle. There are a set of Windows API Function Utilities (32-bit) for LabVIEW that you can use. In there there is a VI (Get Window Refnum) that gets the window handle. It's a simple call to a Windows API function. You would call the animatewindow function in the same way. In this case there are 3 parameters: the window handle (returned by a FindWindow API call), a DWORD (32-bit integer) for the duration, and another DWORD for the flags.

Does anyone have details to share about adding gdbm to the default Python?

I have a series of apps that I'm trying to port from Solaris that use Python. From what I can tell, everything that I need is in the default Python Framework on 10.5 and 10.6 except gdbm.
Has anyone added gdbm to the default frameworks (versus darwinports)? Can you share what you did to get this working? I'd really prefer to use the default Python rather than add darwinports to my systems.

But, how do I tell other users (who are NOT developers) how to do this? I'm actually doing this first as a guinea pig to try and resolve the question for a non-developer user. I can easily build and install my own version of Python - or even build a self-contained binary if it came down to that, but I'm trying to come up with a set of steps such as:
Download this ZIP file
Extract the contents and place the resulting gdbm.so file into /blah/blah/blah
Execute ./sr/bin/yadda -yadda using sudo
Run the tools
Sorry that I was so vague in the original post, but that's why I posted it to the user forums rather than the developer forums in the first place - I wanted to find out if a normal user had come up with a solution to this from a non-developer angle.

Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with opening attachments in Mail on your iPad.
I recommend following these steps for an issue like this (you can skip 4 because it does not relate to the issue you are experiencing and any other steps you may have taken):
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on),reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

I found a way to fix it. Simply restart the dock by using "killall Dock" in the terminal.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Does anyone have problems with iTunes movie rentals freezing in the middle of the movie, requiring a force quit, which causes your rental to disappear? This has happened multiple times to me recently. Last time Apple didn't refund my money after reporting the problem. I have been using iTunes for many years but am about to give up.

Correction: I was refunded for the previous movie freeze.

I got the new ipad this weekend and had problem with apple ID - thus resulting in 13 charges to my credit and debit card with itunes and nothing loading onto the ipad - does anyone have an idea as to how I can get this credited back to my accounts?
