Does eos utility update new versions automatically?

Having trouble upgrading to eos utility 3. Using version that came with t2i. Learning to shoot feathered but some functions don't seem to work. Only tutorials I've found are with utility 3.

I was wondering that, too. Then I realized that the Digital Photo Pro was older than what I saw under the Rebel upgrade page. It was a slight number upgrade. I had to manually upgrade to the newer version! You might have trouble because you have a t2i. I just bought a t6s and had to enter my body number to update anything.! I have yet to use it.All I have are Canon products going back to a film camera, FT-QL. It seems to me that as the versions improve, a canon camera user should be able to upgrade the different versions needed. Will come back here to update If I can find this page, again.

You can go back to the old view with the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (if you are on windows then alt-v should show the View drop-down menu) - which is what I'm currently doing as I'm familiar with that way.
Or, on the new view you can click on the library type at the top left and select Apps and then Check For Updates at the bottom right of the screen. When you've downloaded the updates to your computer, click on Library top right to go back to your library view from the store, then select the iPad (top right) and Sync at the bottom right should then copy the updates to your iPad.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

If I recall correctly, you are talking about the default start page. To check if this is correct, type '''about:home''' in the awesome bar. If this is the same as your homepage, it will still be there when you update.

Start iTunes on the computer you normally sync with. Connect your phone. Select your phone in iTunes on your computer and select the General tab in iTunes. Then scroll down to check for updates. iTunes will update your phone to the latest version of the iOS that is availablele.

It sounds like your phone is slower than expected. I suggest starting by closing all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone:
