trying to decide whether to upgrade... does anyone know how photoshop cs3 works on lion? I really need the other cloud compatability to sync all my devices easily but would hat to lose my photoshop as I havent yet spent the money to move to cs5...

However, it also says there are issues with CS5 and I haven't experienced that.

My touch shows the connect to itunes with usb on screen however when i try to do so it says it cannot connect because it is locked with a passcode. It will not let me enter the code on the ipod or computer. so i cant do anything. Any ideas?

I have tried rebooting it. nothing seems to help. it always ends up with the same screen a picture prompting me to hook up via usb to itunes.Then without fail i get an error message. itunes connpt connect to the ipod touch because it is locked with a passcode. you need to enter the passcode on the ipod touch first. unfortunately the touch will not show any other screen but the connect to itunes.

Connect the iPod touch to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restore it to factory setting. See this article for instructions on getting your device into Recovery Mode.

Does Photoshop Elements work with Windows 8 Touchscreen

Hi I'm able t use parts of the touchscreen for example, selecting a tool. But, when I try to say use the crop tool I cannot use my finger to expand or contract the crop tool.

Photoshop Elements only specifically works with touchscreens when it comes to gestures (moving your finger(s) in a specific motion to get a special behavior). Otherwise, the touch screen should act exactly like a mouse. My guess here is that this is simply a question of precision. If you try to "click" and drag a corner of the crop interface, does the crop rectangle move or rotate instead of change size?

Does lyrics actually work on iPod Touch for 1.1.3

Has anyone actually got it to appear on their touch yet?
I have already scan though some of the post down there and everyone is saying how to add it or show it, but I didn't see anyone post about if they actually tried it and it worked.
I have songs that when I check the properties, there are lyrics in the lyrics tab, but when I put them into my touch, and tried the method mentioned (vertical, not in cover flow, while playing, tap once for the slider control) and no lyrics shows up.
Those songs have ID3 tags which have lyrics, so I though maybe it doesn't work on ID3, so I picked another song, which doesn't have lyrics to begin with, add the lyrics in iTunes, add to touch, and still no lyrics show.
I upgraded because I wanted lyrics, and now I am not getting it and it's really annoying me.
If anyone could help, it would be great! thanks in advance.

Yes, and it works fine (as I've posted many times now)
It does work, only in Portrait mode.
Play a song, and click on the album art once.
Lyrics appear - as long as you pasted them in the song(s) and sync'd.

Does Photoshop CS4 work in Lion?

I'm new to the Mac so I just wanted to make sure, thanks!

I would but you can't in Lion. The application was set to run in Rosetta because one of my most used plugins didn't work in 64bit mode, hence the CS5 version running in 64bit and CS4 running in Rosetta. The only way to start/stop Rosetta functionality was to open the actual .app file in Finder, then "Get Info" and select the checkbox that turned on Rosetta. Now that I've upgraded to Lion there isn't a way to turn off that functionality which to my understanding forced CS4 to run in 32bit mode. So I can't fix the problem and I have upgraded to CS5, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling CS4 (theoretically eliminating the Rosetta prerequisite) to no avail.
I'd say that Adobe/Apple should at least acknowledge that this isn't meant to happen and help me figure out how to resolve this as a matter of course to keep their 2-level down products working properly.
Lastly I have no idea how to go back to 10.6, I can't seem to figure out how to go about that in time machine. Thoughts?

My laptop has crashed and I have purchased one w/ Windows 8 on it. I am getting conflicting info that yes CS4 works on 8 and some Adobe CS say no.
I would like to know before I go to the trouble of installing it on my computer.
Anyone tried this yet w/ success or heard if it does or doesn't work?

Does photoshop cs5 work with mavericks?

I have 2 iMacs with photoshop cs5 installed on one. I have upgraded to mavericks on my non-photoshop machine - which was more of a bumpy ride than I had expected.
Now I wonder whether I should upgrade my photoshop iMac which is currently running os x 10.8.5. Have anyone tried running photoshop cs5 under mavericks - and if so how did it go?

Since when I installed Mavericks my Photoshop CS5 - without warning - becomes all of a sudden unable to display the pull-down menus: they appear but are are solid white. That is, I lose completely control of Photoshop, and of all teh changes I made to a picture in the meantime. I does maintain a connection with the keyboard, but all the windows that may result from a keyboard command are also white. Flying blind, looks like.
It never happened to me before, and it started happening after I installed Mavericks (and I checked online whether PS CS5 was ok with it before installing it, of course .... sure .... ).

i have an ipod touch that i also purchased in march 2012, and i have used facetime with my ipod to an ipad. my mom has the 2nd generation iPad and we can communicate easily. i have not used it with any other users, but i imagine if they have facetime on their apple device that they would be able to connect. hope this helps.

We have only tested Creative Suite 5.5 and 6 with Windows 8. Did you receive any error messages when installing Photoshop CS4 under Windows 8?
