Does Scheduling agreement controls limits with its line&delivery items?

We would like Scheduling agreement to control total target value with its line items and delivery items like contracts.
Is it possible to do that?
thanks for your co-operations..

Hello Cemal Parlak,
Pl correct me if my understanding is incorrect, you want to control the total target value and Total target quantity of the Schedule Agreement and Contracts,
In above case, you can make message controls to achive this,
SPRO-> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define attributes of system
Make the following messages as Error message instead of warning based on the business requirement.
00 - 06 - 042 (Target value of contract & exceeded by &&)
00 - 06 - 067 (Scheduled quantity & & greater than target quantity & &)
00 - 06 - 078 (Target quantity exceeded by  & &)
00 - 06 - 155 (Contract target value & reached)
These settings are at client level so please check with other business entity for the requirement and alternatively you can also define the message for particualr user group .
Hope this helps.

  • How to change a setting in the Java Control Panel with command line

    Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to change a setting in the Java Control Panel with command line or with a script. I want to enable "Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format"
I can't seem to find any documentation on how to change settings in the Java Control Panel via the command line
    Edited by: 897133 on Nov 14, 2011 7:15 AM

OK figured it out. This is for the next person seeking the same solution.
When you click on the Java Control Panel (found in the Control panel) in any version of Windows, it first looks for a System Wide Java Configuration (found here: C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment). At this point you must be wondering why you don't have this folder (C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment) or why its empty. Well, for an enterprise environment, you have to create it and place something in it - it doesn't exist by default. So you'll need a script (I used Autoit) to create the directory structure and place the the two files into it. The two files are "deployment.properties" and "deployment.config".
Example: When you click on the Java Control Panel it first checks to see if this directory exists (C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment) and then checks if there is a "deployment.config". If there is one it opens it and reads it. If it doesn't exist, Java creates user settings found here C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment on Windows 7.
    __deployment.config__
It should look like this inside:
    *#deployment.config*
    *#Mon Nov 14 13:06:38 AST 2011*
*# The First line below specifies if this config is mandatory which is simple enough*
*# The second line just tells Java where to the properties of your Java Configuration*
*# NOTE: These java settings will be applied to each user file and will overwrite existing ones*
    deployment.system.config.mandatory=True
    deployment.system.config=file\:C\:/WINDOWS/Sun/Java/Deployment/deployment.properties
If you look in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment on Windows 7 for example you will find "deployment.properties". You can use this as your default example and add your settings to it.
    How?
Easy. If you want to add *"Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format"*
    Add this line:
    deployment.security.SSLv2Hello=true
Maybe you want to disable Java update (which is a big problem for enterprises)
    Add these lines:
    deployment.javaws.autodownload=NEVER
    deployment.javaws.autodownload.locked=
Below is a basic AutoIt script you could use (It compiles the files into the executable. When you compile the script the two Java files must be in the directory you specify in the FileInstall line, which can be anything you choose. It will also create your directory structure):
    #NoTrayIcon
    #RequireAdmin
    #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
    #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=n
    #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI ****
    Func _JavaConfig()
         $ConfigFile_1 = @TempDir & "\deployment.properties"
         $ConfigFile_2 = @TempDir & "\deployment.config"
         FileInstall ("D:\My Documents\Autoit\Java config\deployment.properties", $ConfigFile_1)
    FileInstall ("D:\My Documents\Autoit\Java config\deployment.config", $ConfigFile_2)
         FileCopy($ConfigFile_1, @WindowsDir & "\Sun\Java\Deployment\", 9)
         FileCopy($ConfigFile_2, @WindowsDir & "\Sun\Java\Deployment\", 9)
         Sleep(10000)
         FileDelete(@TempDir & "\deployment.properties")
         FileDelete(@TempDir & "\deployment.config")
    EndFunc
    _JavaConfig()
Now if you have SCUP and have setup Self Cert for your organization, you just need to create a SCUP update for JRE.

  • Why does Scheduling Agreements create multiple deliveries?

    Hello SAP Experts,
We are on 4.7c.  Our scheduling agreements automatically create deliveries; and I was wondering why instead of putting the scheduled lines onto one delivery, it automatically creates multiple deliveries for the scheduling agreements.
Could someone please explain this to me?  Thank you for your time.
    Best Regards,
    WC

    Hello,
Thank you for response.  I checked the settings and they are correct.
In addition, I checked to make sure the Scheduling Agreement Header Details had the "Order Combination" box checked, which will allow multiple scheduling agreements to be combined in one delivery.
Our scheduling agreement runs on the weekends where it automatically creates the deliveries for them.
My question is why do the scheduling agreements with the "Order Combination" box checked do not always put the scheduling agreements into one delivery. but separates them, when they are in the same automated run.
    For example:
Scheduling Agreement 0001 through 0045 will be created on Delivery 100001, but Scheduling Agreements 0046 though 0048 will be created on Delivery 100002...and they both have the order combination selected.
Why is Scheduling Agreements 0046 through 0048, not automatically creating on Delivery 100001 as the other scheduling agreements?
    Thank you for your time!
    Best regards,
    WC

  • Freight condition type-With respect to Delivery Item (per PC)/Volume/Ship-to party 's region

    Hi Gurus,
I am working on freight related condition type,my requirement is we have to calculate freight cost based on Delivery Item (per PC) / Volume of that Material (Per PC) and Destination Region of each Delivery Order.
    for example:
If Material '100001' has volume = 1 M3 per PC and Destination region code (in Delivery Order) is '20'. The Freight cost is 1 USD per PC.
If Material '100001' has volume = 1 M3 per PC and Destination region code is '22'. The Freight cost is 1.5 USD per PC.
If Material '100002' has volume = 1.5 M3 per PC and Destination region code is '20'. The Freight cost is 2 USD per PC.
If Material '100002' has volume = 1.5 M3 per PC and Destination region code is '22'. The Freight cost is 3 USD per PC.
I'm try to set calculation type = 'T - Multi-dimensional' and having 2 Scale Basis as following:
    Scale Basis = 'F - Volume'
Scale Basis = 'L7 - Region of Destination'
but it result in error in calculation when creating Shipment cost document.
I don't sure whether my understanding on Multi-dimensional scale is correct or not. Please kindly help.
Thank You in Advance for every idea.

I think, from your example, if you maintain condition record with the combination of Destination Region Code and Material, it will work, provided, your freight condition type has Calculation Type as "C".
So your condition record would be
    100001 / 20  =  1USD per PC

  • Scheduling Agreement Release Comparison

    Hi Experts
does Scheduling agreement release comparison works for JIT delivery schedule (Doc Type LP) in SNC?
if yes then how it works and how it is different than forecast delivery schedule release comparison (Doc Type LPA)
    Thanks

    Hi Indira,
The are two ways to address your business case :
    1. The simple way is to forward the work item to the concerned person (by selecting the user from user list) for releasing the work item.
    2. In the second option, we need to modify the workflow. A conditional work item (Accept/Reject) needs to be inserted immdtly after the SA workitem to accept or reject the user decision. Based on the decision, the workitem will either show him the SAP user list to redirect the same for releasing or it should go to the concerned user automatically (in static agent assignment). In case of acceptance, it will go to next step bypassing the rejection loop.
In case of any further queries, please revert.

  • Delivery from sales scheduling agreement with one item per schedule line

    Hi all,
I have a sales scheduling agreement where the same part number has 3 different JIT schedule lines and I need to create a delivery with 3 item lines: every item line of the delivery has to be referred to one schedule line of the scheduling agreement.
When I create the delivery with transaction VL10E it has only one item line and its quantity is the sum of the 3 schedule lines of the sales scheduling agreement.
I've tried to change the customizing of the User Role, choosing the Split Schedule Line = 2 ("One item per schedule line") but the delivery is created again with only one item line.
How can I solve this issue?
    Thanks in advance for reply

    Dear Alex
The SAP standard behaviour is that all schedule items with delivery date in the past have to be rescheduled anyway to one date and are combined therefore.
Partially this behaviour can be influenced in VL10* by 2 parameters in
the user role : Split per sched.line and Rule (delivery qty).
Please find below informations about these different parameters
"Split per sched.line propose you 3 Rule for creating one delivery item
per schedule line. In a delivery list in item view with multiple
schedule lines, you can decide for the same document item whether you
want to generate one delivery item per schedule line or whether you want
to deliver the cumulated quantity of the last schedule lines selected.
About rule for delivery quantity, the following rules are currently
    implemented:
    1. No cumulation
The open schedule line quantity to be delivered is the quantity at which
    the list line is delivered.
    2. Sum of all open schedule line quantities to be delivered that fall
before the chronologically latest date in the to field (following the
Deliv. creation date field) of the selection criteria.
    3. Sum of all open schedule line quantities to be delivered whose
delivery creation date falls within the selection time frame (between
the dates in the Deliv. creation date and to fields, respectively),
making the calculation of the quantity to be delivered consistent with
selection criteria. However, calculationof the quantities delivered with
the order's schedule line quantities is not affected."
    Hope this helps.

  • Finding of materials in scheduling agreement with more than 150 lines

    Dear Experts,
we are in need to find materials in scheduling agreement with more than 150 lines. In standard SAP, materials can be searched only based on item Nos. is there a way we can search by material in ME38. also we noticed that find icon is greyed out in ME38.
    Please suggest.
One more request is, to create an uplaod program for maintaining delivery schedules for multiple SAs.
please sugegst if this is feasible.
    Regards
    Raghavendra MS
    9886138875

I am also curious if anyone has found a solution to this problem.
We routinely have scheduling agreements that are hundreds of line items. Users find it difficult to find the line item they wish to work with. It would be helpful if we could search by material number or sort the line items by material.
As Raghavendra mentioned (ctrl+F) functionality is not available in ME33L or ME38.
    Thanks.

  • MRP Strategies that work well with schedule agreements

Hello Experts, We are having a disucsion on using schedule agreements with our consignment process. What MRP Types and lot size keys work with scheduling agreements? One of our managers insists on using reorder point, and everything I have read seems to lead towards deterministic prodeure PD, and an exact lot size. I was hoping you could provide a proven strategy or tips.
    Thank you in advance,
    Brian

Hello, Thank you both for your quick replies. Our company strategy is a reorder point strategy, that we force our vendors to read off of a web page, but the settings in the system are PD, and usually a 4 week lot size. The MRP data is dumped to the same web page as the reorder point information. It is expected that our vendor is managing the inventory. We also use a PO for the year parked at the end of the year for the entire supply. This method does not allows us to measure the vendor performance.
We are currently have new proposal to use contracts and Kanbans with MRP. Where MRP is used for forecast information and Kanban controls the replenishment by sending a replenishment order to the vendor. This will give us a consumption based process, that can be measured.
The other proposal is to use a schedule agreement with the same reorder point strategy. This is why I asked my question. I don't think that the reorder point strategy works with this type of order. From my understanding the scheduling agreement controls the delivery of the incoming material based on forecast and real demand. Is my understanding correct?
The ulitimate goal is to have a system that provides our material on-time when it is needed. Easy for our vendors, and so we can measure the vendor against. On time delivey and stock outs.

  • SCHEDULE AGREEMENT-DELIVERY SCHEDULE LINE ITEM PRINTING

Scheduling agreement is created in ECC.
Delivery schedule line items are generated using APO and CIFed over to ECC.
Upon displaying in ME38 in ECC, the delivery schedule line items are appearing as required. The problem is that no output type is displayed for condition type LPET even though the settings are done & condition records are maintained.
Can someone throw some light on this?

    Hi Anil ,
Goto Transaction NACE , Select Application EL and then Click on O/p Types.
Select your o/p and click on Processing routines.
Make a copy of medium 1 and change it to 5. The program , Form , Form routine would remain the same.
Maintain condition records with medium 5 in MN10.
Ensure that email address exists in Vendor Master.
Check with ur Basis to make sure that the setting are done in Transaction SCOT for sending document via PDF.
Create a new Agreement and test it.

  • Scheduling agreement - automatic delivery schedule line generation

    Hi,
we assign our scheduling agreements in source lists with MRP indicator on 2 (Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically). As we don't know what the future demand pattern for the product will be, a longer validity date of the source list item is entered, in comparison with the actual validity period. However, all new schedule lines which are generated within this validity period are assigned to the scheduling agreement, even if the quantity of the scheduling agreement has been reached (even outside of tolerances). Can this behavior be changed ?
    Thanks for any valuable input.
    Kristof.

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply,
Generally when we create an SA, user will give the schedule line dates instead of that  the system has to propose the delivery dates.
    My requirement is:
On the scheduling agreements we need to automatically propose delivery dates based on criteria like every Monday, etc. These dates need to get calculated automatically from the header and then get calculated to each JIT tab at the line item.
Is there any document which will hlep in getting the Delivery dates automatically,
am looking into Lz, LZJ but bit confused with these two document types.
Can you please explain more the functionality of these two.
    Regards
    Nath.

  • Scheduling Agreement with Delivery Orders

    Hi,
When i create (LZM)scheduling agreement(Qty 10) with Delivery orders, when i create deklivery schedule
    ie
    Date                Qty
    25.10.2008      1
    26.10.2008      1
    27.10.2008      1
in MD04 for that particular material i can see only requirement for cumulative Qty i.e. 3, &  PP guy is not able to create planned order for those dates unless i create delivery Order(TAM) for the same
    whats the solution for this?
    Regards,
    Amol.

    Hi Suresh
The *** issued qty gets updated when the PGI for the delivery happens. There is a field called *** received by customer and it gets updated when customer sends the *** back in the 830 or 862 as the case may be.
The difference between the *** issued and the *** recieved is always shown in transit.
If you do not want the schedule line to be opened up, then in *** recd change it to the *** issued or ideal option is populate the last delivery PGI'd on the delivery number field next to *** recd field. Hope this helps and let me know if you need any more informataion

  • Creation of PO/Contract/Scheduling agreement with ref to PR using IDOC

    Hi Experts,
    Is it possible to <b>create PO/Contract/Scheduling agreement</b> <b>with reference to PR</b> <b>using inbound IDOC ?</b>
If yes, please let me know the segment type and field to be populated for referencing PR in the IDoc .
    Thanks in Advance,
    Best Regards,
    Mitesh Desai

    Hi Aarif,
Thanks for taking time to reply .
We are palnning to integrate SAP and non SAP systems.
The business Process is as under .
    (1) PR will be generated in ERP (Manaul/MRP)
    (2) PR will be coverted into RFQ (for which there is no appropriate source of supply
         in ERP)
    (3) Sourcing will be done in non SAP system. RFQ will be created with dummy vednro (for example say "source") to identify RFQs to be sent to another system.
These RFQs needs to be sent using IDOC alonwith reference PR numbers and line item numbers.
Multiple PRs will be combined into one RFQ as multiple line items.
    (4) Non SAP system will do sourcing and generates either PO or master outline agreement and have reference PR/RFQ numbers and line item numbers.
No SAP system will send PO/outline agreement information to SAP system in XML file format to generate inbound IDOC in SAP .
    (5) This inbound idoc will generate PO/outline agreement in SAP.
From SAP functionality point of view, I ca createPO/outline agreement with reference to PR but <b>My Question is how I can generate PO/outline agreement in SAP through IDOC and using "Reference PR or RFQ numbers".</b>
    Looking forward to help ASAP.

  • Redetermined the past due schedul lines in Scheduling agreement

    Hi All,
We have an issue with past due schedule lines in scheduling agreement, the details are below.
Delivery date: 3rd Jan 2011 - Order qty is 100 no confirmtion. The system has proposed new date that is 19.01.2010 (System date) with full confirmation. The Scheduling agreement is not relevant for ATP check also. When we check with other plant scheduling agreement, it is not determining any new date, it is confirming on same date.
Different Document types used in two cases, but the config is same in both cases. Not sure why the system is determining to current date with full confirmation. Is there any config relevant to this.
    Regards,
    Lakshmikanth

    hi
schedule lines in scheduling agreements = correct & confirmed dates.
that means if you enter the date manually here system confirms that date as schedule line date.
compare those two plants and let me know if any difference is there in between.
    check MMR RLT's MRP views
check Lead time in days - document types
    check & confirm.
