I want to figure out that the given text field (say, my_text_field_1) has some value in it / is user entered any value in it / is it holding any value in it?
I found the below piece of code in FormCal, but, am looking the same purpose solving code in JavaScript,

if user enters a space/blank then, do i need check like != " " (one space)....okay, if user enters multipe spaces? i do not want to consider the spaces would be some values!

Two days ago I introduced photos of my baby into my PC and automatically went into the programm Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. Then they were deleted of my photo camera. Then I wanted to access to the photos in the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 but I read that since the end of Juny we need a decodification code and that now it is not availabel. I just find fixed issues where there is not shown my problem and I cannot find the way to write my question about my need of a code for Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. I have spent days setting up an itunes account. For some reason it took for ever for my pass word to work even though I did everything as asked. My sole reason for setting one up was to listen to a song that a friend said she sent me. She said to just go to itunes and click redeem. I did this but they wanted a code. I don't recall ever getting one and I know longer have the email that she sent the link for the song. All I remember seeing was the name of an alblum by the name of Deeper. Please help me listen to the song I was sent. My friend and I have been through some rocky times and this song could possibly change things for us.

The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway. -

What 'redeem code' are you expecting, and why do you think that you need one ? iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be redeemed/used in the country in which they were issued), if they aren't available in your country then you won't be able to get one. You shouldn't need a gift code in order to update an app.

Oh, you mean the screen-lock passcode. To reset that passcode connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore, For recovery mode see:

I "executed" some java code within XSLs file. I have quoted the word executed because I didn't really run java code, but I used a simply trick that I describe you below.
Into your XSLs put an iframe which is hided (it has an height of 0 pixel). As src of the iframe put the address of a portal component which execute your code (in my case calculate some PCD URL of some pages into a defined role). As result of component execution, I use the response.write method in order to execute some jscript code, which is able to interact with the HTML generated by XSLs files, for example in my case response.write put the PCD URL into a drop down list placed into the "edit" form.
This works fine. I don't know if is suitable also for your case, anyway could be a hint, but pay attention to Roland's recommendations.

I want to call JavaBeans within JavaScript function. Can I do it?
I have a button in JSP . When the button be clicked,the data be inputted will be checked by JavaScript function. If check is ok, then call a Bean's function to write the data to database.
Please Help!well indeed u can write java code in javascript functions. But probably it will not work the way u want it to.
when u say that u click a button, it means that some client side action is performed. Now if u wud require a java bean to be called then it means that the server needs to be contacted for the same, and if that has to be done, necessarily the form needs to be submitted.
U can populate values from a java bean and then the same can be made available to a javascript variable / function when the page is loaded rather than, when the button is clicked.
What u can do is on click of button u can process [display / calulate..etc ] the information which has already been got by the java bean.

Help, somebody has turned the restrictions on on my daughters iPad mini and we don't know the pass code to turn it off. She can't use iTunes because of them being turned on. I have tried backing it up to a laptop and then restoring it to factory settings but you need the pass code to do this....any ideas how I can turn it off or reset it, anything that might help its driving me potty...

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -
