"Donnée insuffisante pour image"

Bonjour,

  • I downloaded the web developer tool bar and after using it my images are gone. I use google and a home page and the big google is gone. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but I still don't have any images. How can I get them back?

Two days ago I downloaded the web developer tool bar (aus2.mozilla.com). I tried to use it but gave up. I deleted the tool bar.
I don't have any images anymore. I use Google.com as my home page (default) and the large GOOGLE isn't there anymore. I've also noticed some of the sites I use don't have the continue or next or enter keys anymore. It seems the only thing I have now is the text.

Are you sure you are looking at the Google page?? In Firefox 4.0 the default homepage / Start Page in Firefox was changed to '''about:home''' which looks a lot like the former www.google.com/firefox homepage.

I don't mind having GC getting to it but it's not doing so now. .. Isn't it? GC is only called when the JRE feels it is necessary. Definitive evidence of a memory leak is generally revealed by an OutOfMemoryError. Does the code throw OOMEs?Excellent point. I tried loading over and over to force an OOME. I found that after the memory footprint grew to about 750mb, it reset down to about 130mb again, so it seems that GC does eventually kick in. Perhaps what I have is fine.
That question brings me to the code sample. Typing an image file name in a text field is soooo 1980s. It would take a long time and much hard work on the part of the person testing it, in order to get to an OOME.In my actual application I'm using drag-and-drop to specify the image. The text field was just to simplify the code sample. How you get the file location is not relevant for the question - it's how the resources are released. If you're saying my code is fine regarding and shouldn't be holding onto any resources, that's great. I'm not saying that. So far I've not looked closely at the code, and am no expert on resource caching in any case.
..I am looking to confirm I'm following best practices regarding image resources.Good show. There is too much rubbish code out there.
..With the code sample, you just have to specify one .jpg file and repeatedly click the button to see the memory grow, so there's no burden to type a new file each time.Oh right, my bad. I had presumed it required a different image each time. Still (grumbles) a file chooser to select the image file would not have gone astray - for us lazy types. ;)

  • How to remove flickering in a animation done by loading different image files

    Hello Everyone,
I have done a character animation by loading multiple images one after another at runtime or dynamically by accessing files from there path directly.
But the problem I am facing is, I am getting a white bg or delay when the images change, it kind of feels like the images are flickering. How can I get rid of this flicker.
    Thank you.
    Iceheros

When loading images from a server during runtime you can never be sure that there will be no delay.
What you could do is write a function, that checks with a progress Event how much of the next picture is loaded and base the percentage of the current pictures alpha channel on this figure.
Say the progressEvent from your Loader returns a number like 0.1....1.0 (10%...100% of the next picture are loaded)
    Then in an eneterframe you could use that number to modify the current Pictures alpha (like img.alpha = 1.0- progress);
A clear disadvantage is, that the tweens will always be different (depending on picture size/network traffic)

Hi there and welcome to the User Forums!
What you are looking for is a full-motion video recording.
Captivate 2 has full-motion available, but the product is designed
to use it for only brief periods - for capturing such things as
grabbing a scroll elevator, or a drag-n-drop of a file object. It
is definitely not designed for on-going, continuous video capture.
If you upgrade to Captivate 3 you will find expanded full-motion
    capabilities.
Other alternatives include the use of software designed
specifically for creating AVI videos. One popular software package
for this is Camtasia, but there are hundreds available out there -
just "Google" for a string like "
    create video".
Having said that, if you use Captivate as intended, the
action you describe can be captured easily, and with amazing
clarity and real-time appearance of your actual activity. This is
not really the place to conduct a complete seminar on the product,
but there are more than a half-dozen tutorials (created in
Captivate) accessible on the main user interface (UI) - look in the
right-hand column on that UI. The titles tell you what each
contain. There is also a sample movie or two that was included with
the install. You might find it helpful to open that and after
looking at the timeline and other features, use the Preview feature
to see what a Captivate movie looks like.
After looking at some of those resources, come on back here,
as you will probably have more specific questions we can help with.
    Best of luck to you.

  • Don't understand IMAQ image behavior

    Hi there,
I have several image controls in my application.  When I assign image A to image B (in my wiring diagram), and then close image B, image A is no longer valid!  When I try to crop image A after closing image B, I get a "not an image" error.  If I do not assign image A to image B, I don't get the error.  If I do not close image B after assigning image A, I don't get the error.
I am new to IMAQ and don't understand this behavior at all.  It looks like when I try to give the value of image A to image B, it somehow links the two rather than just copying the information over.  Is this a pointer and reference vs. value assignment issue?
Regardless, these IMAQ image controls behave differently than any other control in the labview palette.  I hope someone can explain what I am seeing to me so that I that I can learn when I can assign one image to another, and when I can close, and how I can avoid extremely confusing and difficult to debug results.
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi,
You must create each of Image A and Image B separately using IMAQ Create and then copy content of image A to image B using IMAQ Copy.
Image Display control in Labview does not create an image and does not reserve memory for it. It just displays content of the image it is wired to. I suspect that when you "assign" image A to image B in your program,  you just wire the same image to 2 Image Display controls. No wonder they show identical image. When you "close image B", you actually closing the only image you have, memory space allocated fot that image is released and reference is no longer valid. After that any attempt to modify/change that image will return "not an image" error.
I recommend you to look into Vision examples shipped with Labview - see for example "Extract Example.vi" in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\examples\Vision\2. Functions\Image Management". In the path above you should change LabVIEW 7.1 to your version of LabVIEW.

  • Filter previews don't match regular image display

I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. I'm working on a new computer (MacBook Pro, running 10.5.5) and all my filter previews are more saturated than the image is "normally" in Photoshop. This is true for:
    - Tiffen DFX
    - Photoshop's built in "Spatter" filter (and other filters as well)
    - PictureCode NoiseNinja Pro
    - Mr. Retro Machine Wash 3
I have another Mac (Dual-core G5 running 10.4.11) which does NOT exhibit this problem.
As far as I can tell everything is the same between the two machines:
    - Color Settings: North America General Purpose 2 (synced via Bridge)
    - "Proof Colors" disabled
    - Same image on both machines
    - Same PHOTOSHOP on both machines (same copy installed on my home machine and laptop)
    - Both monitors (external on the MacBook Pro) calibrated using Monaco Optix XR.
    Any ideas what's going on?

    >Sorry, but that is plain BS
Let's try to be a bit less flamey, shall we?
    >For starters, in order to use the laptop's keyboard, the external monitor has to be way too high, or the laptop/keyboard way too low, since the darned laptop screen gets in the way.
True, but when using an external monitor (in the office) I also have my external keyboard and mouse. The laptop is on the left and behind, sitting on a riser so the bottoms of both screens are at the same level. External display is on the right. Both angled slightly inward towards me. The laptop overhangs the front of the riser (and the external keyboard) so the display is not too far away.
    >Secondly, your scheme underscores the futility of using a laptop and takes away any portability advantage you may have had.
I don't see that. The screen IS profiled, just not as well as the external screen. It's plenty adequate for sorting/filtering shoots and preliminary editing, with more serious color correction, output sharpening, et. handled when back at the office.
    >Third, you won't be generating much income doing photography or Photoshop work on a lousy laptop screen "in the islands", or at least not for long. You may have earned your vacation, but the laptop sure isn't going to "pay for it". You may permanently lose some clients instead.
I'll have to tell my clients that one. I'm sure they'll find it worth a chuckle. True the last trip was mostly spent coding and working in Flash, and the more critical Photoshop work I did needed a modest tweak once I got back to the good monitor, but it was pretty close and easy to fix. Technically I suppose working on a trip doesn't mean the trip is paying for itself, but rather than bleeding twice (traveling AND not working for a week) I'm only bleeding once. And I happen to enjoy work, so it's not a vacation killer.
    > I stand by my fundamental aversion to laptops.
And I by my attraction to them.
