Doubt in shopping cart

Hi all,
i am working on SRM 5.0 classical scenario...Can i create a shopping cart using materials in my backend system.(I havent replicated the material to ebp)..Is it possible to d o that.
Thanks&Regards,
Hari

Hi Hari,
Irrespective of the scenario (Implementation scenario) you are using except for stand alone to create a shopping cart for backend materials you have to replicate the backend material master to EBP (SRM).
If you can create a local P.org & local P.Group you can very well create shopping carts for local materials.
Hope this makes you more clear.
Clarifications are welcome.

  • Shopping Cart/Wish List

I have been a long time iTunes store shopper, and traditionally I've always looked forward to the updates, but one of the changes in the most recent version really irks me. I absolutely cannot stand the new wish list feature. In my opinion, it's a buggier, worse version of the shopping cart, and I seriously wish they would just bring the old one back.
But, since that probably isn't going to happen, I have some questions in hopes of making the new "feature" a little easier to deal with:
    1) Is there any way to make the wish list sort by genre? It used to be really nice with the shopping cart when I could sort through whatever music I had in it by the kind of music I was in the mood for. This is one of many features which, as far as I can tell, is gone.
    2) Is there any way to make it so the wish-list page doesn't reset each time you buy a song? Every time I buy a song, the page refreshes back to the top of the page with all my previous sorting set back to default. This is HIGHLY annoying when I want to buy more than one song, and I have to re-search for the next one after buying the first.
    3) Is there any way to see all your wish-list music on one page rather than having to sort through the 4-5 pages I currently have?
I really appreciate what Apple was trying to do with the Wish List, but unless I'm missing something, they took out more features than they added. Simple ones that make a big difference. I think they aimed it more for people who want to go through and pick a lot of music, and then buy it all at once. They took out a lot of what made large shopping carts easy and quick to navigate and buy from. I for one used the shopping cart more as a place to store all the music I EVENTUALLY wanted to buy rather than a more immediate place to chuck my upcoming purchases. Every time I saw a song on iTunes that I liked, regardless of my immediate intent of buying it, it went in the shopping cart. I may not get to it for months, but it would stay there, and I could get to it easily when I wanted to.
I highly doubt I'm the only person who used it like that, and for those of us who did, I think the wish-list is a crappy alternative.

Well after my post on this very issue was removed (because it was deemed more feedback than a question - which I'm fine with), it would likely have helped.
As far as I can tell, there is only ONE WAY to get to your shopping cart, er, wish list.
    1) Login
    2) On the left bar (the section where your shopping cart used to be, along with your playlists), you have to click on iTunes Store. You'll see your Wish List in the Quick Links section...
Thats it. Clicking anywhere else, like the 'Home' link or whatever, will not help you...if this is all too crazy, yeah, it is. I mean, making it difficult to purchase sounds really, um, crazy, particularly if you shop by shopping cart - which means you actually spend money on more music than "single buy". Ugh!
On the other question on how to "Add to Wish List". In the section where songs are listed (with fixed sized columns that you can't adjust in this version - had to rub that in), you'll see a button to "BUY SONG". To the right of that text is an arrow (in the button, not another column) that if clicked gives you more options. One of them is to add to your wish list. Can't tell if the fixed sized columns are also affecting your view (maybe you're not seeing the entire button?).

  • Shopping cart from catalog in sourcing cockpit

    Hi experts
I have a doubt when I create a shopping cart from a catalog it's going to sourcing cockpit of the buyer I am in SRM 5.5 ECS, I have configuted in customizing for soucing option 5 Aut Grouping . Sourcing for itens whithout assigned souce,
It must send for soucing cockpit only itens without source.
Someone knows how to solve it?
    Thanks
    Nilson

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
<b>This is correct.. It's standard functionality...</b> For every shopping cart, created from catalogs, the SOS (Source of supply) - Vendor will always be available.. (Until and unless you have activated any other Active BADI) and once the Shopping cart is complete and is ordered... It will directly by pass the buyer and will directly go the Approver for Approval, if required.. Otherwise, Back-end document (PO, Pur Req.. etc ) will get created...
Do let me know.. Incase you still face any issues.

  • Shopping cart in iweb NO PAYPAL

I would like to insert a shopping cart WITHOUT using paypal. I know how to create the "add to shopping cart" buttons, but can not figure out how to get them to link to an actual shopping cart page that should total everything up. I will be authorizing the payments from my office so I only need a cart that adds up the total and sends the credit card info to my email (like with forms).
Is there a way to do this without going through a third party?
    Thank you

I doubt forms send credit card info by email, usually in plain text.
Me think something a tiny bit more secure order handling is needed.
    Here's the alternative.
Put your bank account number on your webpage with the following line :
Send me the money and I'll send you the merchandise.
There are lots of gullible people out there, so you will never be short on customers.
    Start small, think big.

  • Updattion in Shopping  cart in Sourcing cockpit

    Hi All,
Can we change the SHC in souring cockpit?
    Regards,
    Navneet.

    Hi,
In the sourcing cockpit , if you click on the shopping cart , it will take you to the shopping cart , and there some fields are available for editing and you can edit.
regarding the second point , i am not sure wether you can control the edit behaviour using the BADI.
This is because , system is designed such that the requirement which has come from backend should not be changed , this is because the origin of the document is backend system and not SRM.
Only changes made in the backend should be replicated to SRM.
    Hope this clears your doubts.

  • Shopping Cart Item wise PO or PR creation in backend system.

    HI Experts,
I have one doubt in the shopping cart, can any one of you tell me the customizing setting for the same.
Whenever we create shopping cart either PO or PR is created in backend system as per the requirement of client, there must be some customizing settings need to be done for the same.
What is that customizing settings????reply for both PR as well as PO.
Also when we have multiple line items in Shopping cart and if we want to create PO for one line item and PR for other line item in the back end system then how to change this setting for achieving item specific customizing?????
    Thanks in Advance,Please help.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Paresh Sojitra.

    Hi,
    1. Using Business Add-In BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW you can change all the data that is transferred to the backend system for generation of a requirement. This includes, for example, item data, account assignment data, and texts. You can access all the shopping cart data in the method FILL_RQ_INTERFACE for generation of the backend reservation via the BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE
    2. Using the Business Add-In BBP_CREATE_BE_RS_NEW, you can change all the data that is transferred to the backend system for generation of a reservation. This includes header and item data.
All the shopping cart data is available as input parameters.
    3. With Business Add-In BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE, you can replace or supplement existing contract data in SAP Enterprise Buyer with your own backend structures and tables. Enterprise Buyer calls this BAdI before it makes the RFC to the backend system to create a contract.
For more details go through SE18 Badi documentation..
Q Also in the the above case if i want to create Reservation for one item of shopping cart then what to do???????? and what to do for Contract creation in backend system????
    A. When you create SC for item, if the item was stock item in backend system automatically created reservation as mentioned in above settings.
in classic scenario contracts are created in R/3 System.

  • Enable Delete button depending on the shopping cart status

    Hi all,
My requirement is Enable the delete button if the status of selected shopping cart is 'Awaiting Approval' in header and item level.
Technical detail of delete button : Component : POWL_UI_COMP
                                                      WINDOW : TABLE
                                                      VIEW : VIEW_TABLE
                                                       TOOLBAR BUTTON ID : F_DELETE.
    please help...

    Thinking aloud,
    - should the button be a resource from Webcenter, you could modify its visibility (property) via EL: #{WCSecurityContext.userInGroup['Administrators']} will display the button only if the user is in Administrators group
    - does your portlet have a parameter like that? If so, you should be able to fill it in with EL. If not, I doubt you will be able to achieve visibility changes - you might try to contact the producer of your portlet to do the necessary changes, though.

  • Purchasing Shopping Cart - Server Not Found - Is the album not available?

I recently tried to purchase an album through my shopping cart. When I click on "Buy" I receive this message: "The contents of your chart have changed, please review".
After clicking "Refresh" I receive the following message: "We could not complete your music store request. The server was not found. There was an error in the music store. Please try again later."
I read in another post that this means that the album is no longer available. Is this true or is there another issue?
I received a message back from Apple stating that I need to unistall and reistall iTunes 6.01. I doubt that because I can purchase other music without a problem. It is just this particular album that is giving me issues.
    Anyone else witnessed this issue?
    Thanks!

I've been back and forth with Apple via email three times in the past couple of days with exactly the same error messages. In their last email they asked for a lot more detailed information so they can start tracking things down. This is not an isolated incident as there is a growing number of threads from both the US and Canada appearing on the list. Hopefully they'll figure it out very soon.

  • Aperture- shopping cart option?

Hi I am currently in the process of creating a website...and I may be purchasing Aperture soon...I guess what I want to do is allow client proofing (password protected) and ordering (and preferably payment) online.
*I want to maintain control of the printing at the professional lab of MY choosing (ie. no smug mug etc etc)
*I want to have the money deposited directly into my account.
Now I guess what I am wanting to know is- has anyone done this using Iweb and Aperture and something else added for the ordering and payment part of the process.
I know in Aperture I can create webgalleries for clients (I know you can password protect in Aperture) to proof the photos and I know there's a plug in where they can "approve" shots but what about the ordering and payment aspect?
I'm trying to investigate a few options but am wondering if anyone has any ideas or have achieved what I want. No I don't want to buy a Blu Domain template etc before anyone suggests it
    TIA!

    You can check at:
    http://www.aperturepluggedin.com/
    but I doubt it.
With any of the Aperture web publishing features, you're going to have to do some coding to get a shopping cart or send them over to PayPal. Don't even try it with a Web Gallery.
On a side note: Congratulations to Ian. I just noticed the Aperture Assistant is at the top of the page at aperture plugged in.

  • Tried to purchase songs in shopping cart - songs deleted

So I've been researching and fine tuning the 85+ songs in my cart for the last two weeks. I finally decide that I'm ready to purchase them. when I click on "buy now" it said "puchasing songs" at the top for about a minute, then gave an error:
"One or more of the songs in your cart is no longer availible. Please review..."
So I clicked the "refresh" button in the error dialog, which took me back to my cart. It looked as though one of 86 songs had been deleted. So I decided to try to purchase the rest, and when I did, it said my shopping cart was empty, and suddenly all of my music dissapeared.
I've spent countless hours finding all that music, and I would appreciate it if there was a way I could somehow recover the list. I have no record of it myself, and would be unable to regenerate it.

Alot of people have issues using the shopping cart. Most of these errors are caused when something is added, then later apple Move the song to a different location in its store, Edits the song, completely removes it from the store ect ect.
I personally recommend using the one click feature and creating a "Wish List". This will stop any errors from happening AND provide you with a list of songs you found and like. more about a wish list can be found here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107961
Far as recovering your list, I doubt you can, but you can try emailing apple music store about it and maybe run into some luck. http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/email

  • Reg : Shopping cart item

    Hi All,
We can have many items in shopping cart.Once the shopping cart has been approved, order can be generated .
Here there are two questions for me..
1.Let us suppose there are two items in shopping cart. Now can i create two different purchase orders for those items.
2.If i have only one item.then can i generate multiple Purchase orders for that same one item in the shopping cart.
    Thanks,
    Ravee..

    Hi Pierre and David,
    Thanks for your replies
Actually I found that both the scenarios are posssible.
You people said that first one is possible.Second scenario is like when i have an item in SC with quantity 100.I can create two PO's with qty 50 each.
Now I have a doubt here....
I am creating Purchase order in SRM system.PO will be created for the approved Shopping cart.
But while creating/changing PO if the purchaser try to change the value of the line items greater than the value approved in the shopping cart i should give him an error message.
For that I am using a BADI : BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI (This will get triggered when PO is created or changed).
    1. For a method in this BADI, I am passing IV_DOC_GUID(a global identifier)
    2. I am using a FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL and passing the above global identifier to a field in FM to get line items of the PO into an internal table.  (Here i am getting all line items of a PO)
loop at line item internal table. (If i get multiple line items I will loop like this)
      3. After that In the PO line items there is a field SRC_GUID. I am passing this to a FM BBP_PD_SC_ITEM_GETDETAIL to get       the shopping cart information for that line item.
(Here I am getting all SC information for that particular line item)
    endloop.
Till here it is good. But the problem here is
when two PO's are created from one line item on a shopping cart.*
    Example :
    From above
In step 2 : I will get only one PO by passing unique identifier.
let us suppose PO is  1000000000 and line item is 10(qty : 10). In its item details I will have a field SRC_GUID for every line item
In step 3 : I will pass this SRC_GUID to FM BBP_PD_SC_ITEM_GETDETAIL to get SC details.
Now I will check the details of PO with SC.As two PO's are created from SC.The Net Values of items in SC will be high.
let us suppose SC has item 10 with qty:20.
where Can I find the other PO's created for this Shopping cart. Then Only I can check whether the PO value is greater then SC line item.
    Please suggest me.
    Thanks,
    Ravee....

  • Shopping cart aproval using BRF

    Hi experts
I have to configure a shopping cart approval that must use a Z table to find the approvers, so I have a procees schema the trigger a process level  that have a filter for responsible resolver that must go to a Z table where the approver will be find, so I created a filter called SUP_SC_DD and created an implementation in badi /SAPSRM/BD_WF_RESP_RESOLVER method GET_APPROVERS_BY_AREA_GUID , but it alwais have an error AN ECEPTION OCCURED, but no log is displayed.
My doubt, is it the best method to use if a get my aprovers in a Z TABLE?
How to implement the badi and the mentioned method?
    Thanks

  • Disappearing Shopping Carts

We recently upgraded to SRM 7.0 and I have had a few users create carts that seem to have disappeared.  In the new system a cart number is already generated and they are able to print preview the cart, so I can only assume those users did not actually click Order or Save.
However, I have found other scenarios where the user did save the cart (from screenshot they send us).  But, if we go back through the shopping cart monitor or BBP_PD, there are no results.  Is there another way to find these carts?  How could they have disappeared?
    Monique

While it will be impossible to actually recreate this issue for OSS, if anyone has ever encountered this scenario at their organization, please let me know how you cleared up the mystery.
I don't know if the users may be clicking on something incorrectly or if it is the web browser they are using.  In most cases, users appear to be doing everything correctly and they are able to create the carts again without any issue.
I can understand if the user did not actually save or order the cart that it would not be in the system.  However, our users are saying that they are placing the orders and I have no reason to doubt them.
I even found an instance where the cart showed up in SLG1 but that was the only place and there were no errors.

  • How to use customer extension table for schedule line for shopping cart ?

    Dear Experts,
One of our client wants to have schedule lines in shopping cart item. I am thinking of using customer extension table at item level for shopping cart. Could you please help me on  how I should proceed with the appending the structures so that the end user can fill the shopping cart schedule line details?
Which fields should I consider in such cases?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Hi.
I guess you use SRM 7.0. Please go to IMG.
SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Create Table Extensions and Supply with Data

  • Creation of User defined field in Shopping Cart

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 4.0, we have requirement to have MRP controller field on basic data screen of shopping cart(for services as well as material). This field will get transferred to R/3, based on which release strategy will get triggred.
We have table in which we maintain user & his MRP controller. Requirement is that the MRP controller filled should get filled with the table value (in case of shop on behalf, MRP controller should of respective user on whose behalf the SC is being created).
I know how to create the field. I want to know the flow/logic to achieve this.
    Please give suggestion to me.
