Downgrading subscription failed (no follow up by Adobe)
Hi there,
I just downgraded my Formscentral account by cancelling the Plus account and rebuying the Basic account. However, my clients do get messages that the limit has exceeded. Moreover, I already contacted support on the 2nd of January and they opened a support case. Still nothing has been done.
Can you ASAP put my account right to the Basic Service, as I already paid for it this shouldn't be that difficult?

I see that your account level is at "Free" so I forwarded to Support and they should reach out to you very soon, if you can reply to me by email with a good contact phone number I can share with Support that would be helpful: [email protected]
One question, you are sure that you signed up for the Basic service with the same AdobeID (email login)? Sometimes users do confuse themselves with multiple logins, just checking to be sure...

I'm trying to reinstall Photoshop CS2 on an intel iMac, OS 10.5.5. I ran the install program, after a few seconds I get the following error message: "Install Failed: The following install step failed: run preflight script for Adobe Photoshop CS2. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." (I did contact adobe, but they no longer support CS2) Originally, I had installed PS CS2 when I was using OS 10.4.X, then I upgraded to 10.5.x. PS CS2 was working fine on my system. Then I accidentally deleted the program, now I'm having trouble reinstalling. I'd appreciate any help that you can give me.
I encountered the exact same problem - I had upgraded to CS2 from a previous version of Photoshop, back
when I was using OSX 10.3.9. Later, I upgraded my OS from 10.3.9, to Leopard (10.5.8.)
CS2 always ran flawlessly, through all those systems.
Then I had occasion to reformat my HD and reinstall Leopard 10.5.8.
That's when the CS2 installer failed, with the same message mentioned above.
When I called in, they basically said, buzz off....we won't help you.
First, this shows that their software is flawed.
They managed to allow this problem to occur due to inept programming.
Now they are either incapable, or unwilling, to write a programming fix for this problem.
It reeks olf ineptitude, plus colossal, inexcusable arrogance and disrespect for their customer base.
Just my humble opinion of course...and I've been a Photoshop user since 1990. -

I made subscription for pakistan 400 minutes yesterday but got the messege that my subscription failed. i tried it again and again it showed that subscription failed. I checked your account and your recent purchases was refused. You should not be charged on the payment method you used. It is possible that the charges on your bank are pending or reserved charges for your orders but should be canceled since your payment was refused. However, if you can see that you were really charged, you need to contact Skype Customer Service so that they can check further. You can contact them by following the steps on the link below:

Problem Description:
When I use FB 4.7 GUI, everything works OK.
When I use FB 4.7 command line, it fails as follows:

not easy to reproduce, but basically it works fine in FB4.7 GUI, but fails only in command line.
It happens in specific projects (for us it happened in ActionScript Mobile Project).

Windows Event Subscription - Fails To Activate Subscription
When I try to create a subscription on a GUI server I receive this error:
"The client could not start a valid listener to receive subscription events based on the specified input settings."
When I use WECUTIL on Server Core, I get the following error:
"The subscription is saved successfully, but it can't be activated at this time. Use retry-subscription command to retry the subscription. If subscription is running, you can also use get-subscriptionruntimestatus command to get extended error status.
Error = 0x3ae8. The subscription fails to activate."

I don't know if this is the right section but I experience the following issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on Windows 8.1. When I start Acrobat the related window opens normally but, after some scroll up and down along the document, it blocks, Acrobat doesn't respond to any command I can give and, in place of the pointer arrow, a vertical bar, as the one of the text editor appears. The only way I can stop Acrobat is by means of the task manager. I tried to de-install and the re- install Acrobat but the behaviour is always the same. What can I do??
Have you opened Acrobat and gone to Help>Updates to get an updated install?

The Volume Shadow Copy service initially was running under the context of System, so we thought that ‘System’ doesn’t have permissions to access network shares.
When the Volume Shadow Copy service was running under the context of System, this was the error logged:
“failed with following error code '0x8078014B' (There was a failure in creating a directory on the backup storage location.).”
Which is likely due to not having permissions to write to the network location.
This is a scheduled backup trying to write to a network location, so we changes the service to run under the context of an account that does have permissions to write to the network share.
Then the error changed to this:
“failed with following error code '0x8078006B' (Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.).”

We are attempting to back the files up to a Remote Shared File (and there is 100+ GB free space out there).
If we try another network location, we receive the exact same error.
This is Windows Server 2012, not running Hyper-V and is a physical server not a VM.

I have been getting errors for about a week when trying to convert a PDF to a word document. In Acrobat I get the error "File failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF Online" and when online using ExportPDF I get a conversion failure.

If from Reader then make sure you are signed in within Reader, also try updating Reader to the latest v11.0.09 and check.
If from Browser then have you checked with a different browser if possible?

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with ExportPDF. Can you please tell me a bit more about what's going on, so we can get to the bottom of the issue?
What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing the browser cache?
Are you converting from within Reader, or directly via the ExportPDF website?
Are you able to convert other files? Or is the error specific to this one file?
How large or complex is the file that you're trying to convert?
Are you accessing ExportPDF from a networked computer that may have firewall/proxy settings that are limiting access to the Internet?
I think that's good for starters. Please get back to us with some detail about the problem and we will see what we can do.

Just purchased a license and all was going swimmingly when all of a sudden this happened.
I've managed to convert 4 out of 5 pdf's to docx. The error message pops up with no suggestion
as to what went wrong so all I can do is click ok and stare blanky at the screen. Any ideas out

I exported each page of the brochure individually and that worked. Unfortunately, some of the items appeared to be corrupt when opened in Word.
