Download Button in OVI is disable in my N96 mini

HI,
From last few weeks when i am trying to downlaod and app from OVi,  its showing download button as disable.
I search n this forum, but this issue is which is discussed here was related to re-downloading the apps.
FOr me when even i am trying to install a new app also, download button is disable.
What can be the issue..?
how to resolve this.?
Thanks..

You can try these steps:
To uninstall:
Menu> Settings> Application manager> Installed apps> uninstall Nokia Store Client, Nokia Store, and Nokia Store Launcher.
To install the latest version of Nokia Store, just open Nokia Store from the menu list and choose update. Install the application when prompted. The latest version should be 1.30.(8).
Check also with Nokia Suite if you are using the latest software on your phone.

  • Elements 10 download button does nada

I have Windows Vista and I'm trying to download the upgrade to Elements 10 but it does nothing when I click on the download button.
I have disabled the security, firewall, pop up browser, I have IE 9...
I don't know what else to do.

It looks like you are having problems with the download manager. When you click download, the download manager is installed first and then your installation begins.

  • 5800 download button disabled

I have recently updated my nokia ovi on the cellphone.
Now I am not able to download any app which I had previously downloaded too.
If I go to 'my stuff', and select an app, the download button becomes grayed and is disabled.
Please tell me how to correct this thing.
    tw ge

I'm sorry but your answer isn't of any use and i am suffering the very same issue.
What is actually happening is that even though I have removed the applications from the 'my stuff' list, (record of downloaded software) the application download buttons are still disabled.
It has nothing to do with the phone as you suggest, the problem is with Ovi website. for I have clean booted my N97 with a hard reset and wanted to reinstall all previous applications. however since the Ovi site update, I have been unable to do so.
All software that I wish to re-download has been removed from the 'my stuff' listing. so in theory the software should now become available again for download (as it used to be in the older version of Ovi). Yet I cannot select the software for download, no matter what I do, it seems that either Ovi never clears it's cahe or they choose to prevent users from downloading FREE software once they have downloaded it. (unlikely).
So come on, someone from Ovi, please research this problem and come back with a solution or at least a proper reply.

Hi DD16, Welcome to the Nokia Forums.
Please be try and sign out of your nokia account and relog back in, also be sure that you are connected to a stable WiFi connection, and also make sure that you have enough free space on your phone memory to install any new applications.
If you still experience issues with your store account please try and install Store QML from betalabs.
Please let me know if your problem persists or not.

The download button will be disabled if you are not on a WiFi connection at the present time.
My 4G/LTE connection is actually faster than my available WiFi (in this present location), but those are the rules...

  • Nimbuzz download button disabled

After removing Nimbuzz once (for technical reasons) from my Nokia E5 handset, I am trying to download and reinstall Nimbuzz chat & call but "Download" button is disabled. What could be the reason?

    Hi Rajesh1309,
Thanks for your questions and welcome to the forum.
If you are referring to the buttons below please see the comment and the link below them. Using these will require installation of Nokia Drop. As indicated you can enter your phone number in the field below the buttons to have a download link send to your phone via a free SMS.
    Hope this helps,

  • Disable RealPlayer's Video Download button

I have a client who wants RealPlayer v.11's "Download this
Video" button to be automatically disabled for the video content in
a Flash project. The video has to be delivered via progressive
download since Flash Media Server cannot be installed on the host
    server.
    When
    this
topic was first introduced to the forums about 9 months ago,
Tiago Dias, an Adobe Community Expert (aka funkysoul), wrote:
    quote:
If you are streaming a video from an FMS then you aren't able
to download the flv file anymore. But back to your question, no you
can't tell the users realplayer to not to be able to download.
    However,
    TechNote
    kb402906 says different:
    quote:
Content creators can prevent this button from appearing by
publishing content as ActionScript 3.0 or by passing FlashVars to
    the SWF file through HTML.
I hope that the TechNote is right. If so, can someone clarify
the non-AS3 solution? What exactly is supposed to get passed in
FlashVars? Can anyone provide a sample snippet?
    Thanks in advance.

you are using youtube API so the question is that you can't do anything as they'll continue using HTTP protocol which is stateless and thus can be downloaded !
A workaround you can do is to make browser detection script in javascript which will detect presence of IDM Plugin ... Once you detect the presence of IDM then you can disable the video embedding and not enable it till the user manually disables the IDM Plugin

  • How to disable print and download button of pdf file when i am opening mozila firefox using java script

i am opening pdf file in firefox browser in right side i am seeing print and download option
i want to disable it by program like javascript, by manualy i can disable it ,
actually i am opening pdf file in my website by using firefox browser so i do not want to any can download or print the pdf file

If it's that critical, you could explore this partial workaround:
Use a script or configuration file on your server that changes the disposition based on the user agent. In other words, for Firefox, send an attachment disposition that forces a download outside the browser instead of the default (inline) disposition that allows Firefox to display the PDF in a tab.
Now... that won't stop the user from dragging and dropping the downloaded file on a Firefox tab to use the built-in PDF viewer, but most users would tend to open the file in their default viewer (e.g., stand-alone Adobe Reader).

See if the "stable" version released on 30 June is compatible with Firefox 5.0. That page doesn't mention which versions of Firefox it is compatible with, a serious oversight, IMO. <br />
    https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/
Plus, it looks like that developer hasn't updated his AMO page in over a year, which makes it impossible for users of that add-on to get automatic updates as each new version of Firefox is released. <br />

  • Can't download anything from Ovi store (N8)

Hello, it all started on Saturday when i purchased Rio birds game and it turned to a "failed" download. I press Download button and then page refreshes and I get the Red button,"download failed" or something. I purchased another game day after that thinking its a temporary "bug" or something, it happened before and I got the same error. Tried downloading random free stuff but soon as I press Download button I get the download error again. Its been like this for 5 days now, cant download anything, not even stuff I purchased. Emailed Ovi support twice on sunday and monday but have not recieved a reply yet. Very odd IMO, 3,4 working days without a reply is very unprofessional. Do they even recieve those mails?
And I tried reinstalling Ovi store but still got the same download error.
Any tips or something that doesnt include hard reboot?
    Thx in advance

  • Can't download apps from ovi store

    Hi, i have a nokia 5530 xm
i had some corrupted music files in my music library so i made a back up-file on the computer and erased everything on the memorycard
Then i loaded all the stuff back on the memorycard. But then almost all my apps were gone, so i tried to download them again. But i can't click the 'download' button (it's dark gray, like if you've already clicked it) so i think the ovi store remembers that i have downloaded the apps before and it's like i have got them on my phone but i have checked all the installed apps and all the installation files in the application manager but they aren't there.
Anyone knows what to do about this?

  • I cant download anything from OVI

Hello, I have a Nokia N97 Mini and used Ovi before with no problems. However, during a day in which i downloaded a lot of apps and all of them during the same time, my phone crashed and i restarted it by removing and putting back the battery. The next time i entered OVI, at any given app, payed or free, i cannot press the "Download" button. In "My Stuff" section, i still have some apps which are stated as "Downloading", yet they dont download. Please help me to restore Ovi to its former self!

    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia
