'Download Error' due to 'Unable to reach Adobe servers'.

I am getting a 'Download Error' due to 'Unable to reach Adobe servers'. I have already reconnected and disconnected my internet, and nothing has changed. How can I fix this problem? If anyone can help, I would truly be grateful. Thanks!

Not really a Premiere Pro problem, so moving this to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.

I only get this on my laptop, not my desktop, and I am using the same internet connection. I have checked my firewall, and it seems to be fine. Please help! This has been going on for several days now!

    Hi katenagel,
Are you on a managed network?
Please check the the steps listed in the KB Doc http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html:

  • A fix for Mac users encountering "unable to reach Adobe servers" error

Seemingly out of nowhere - i.e., not coinciding with any Mac OS, or app updates - I started getting the "unable to reach Adobe servers" error from the Creative Cloud desktop app.  Signing into the Adobe website was impossible, too.  When I say impossible, I mean it literally - the login window would not display, in Safari or Chrome.
I'm sure this is posted somewhere here, but just in case, here's the solution that worked for me (posted by phatfish81 on Feb 7, 2015 4:35 PM):

Luciac15720559 have you utilized the steps listed in Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later to locate the cause of the connection error?  If so do you have any questions regarding the steps listed within the document?  What type of network environment is your computer located?

  • Adobe Download Manager unable to reach Adobe servers

I am getting the "Unable to reach Adobe servers" error all the time.
    I've tried
    deleting the opm.db file;
deleting the PDApp log file; and
    entering my adobe login details.
turning off my avast firewall (there's none on my modem)
But the error doesn't go away and I can't upgrade to LR 5, etc.
Has anyone managed to fix this error?
    Thanks,
    Ganga.
    PS:
    a) I am not happy that I have to use the forums to get support on a product that I'm payingf for.
    b) Why can't Adobe offer 24/7 support? I am in Australia and should not be made to wait for US business hours.
    c) I wonder if Adobe will reimburse for the days they couldn't supply the product I've subscribed to.

Yes Jihoon1109 the managed network is likely causing your network difficulties.  This is especially true once the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html have been completed.
I would recommend contacting your I.T. department and having them review the Adobe Creative Cloud Service Access Documentation for IT section of http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html.

  • Unable to reach Adobe servers, Please check firewall settings and try again

I have been a creative cloud customer since it started and I've never experienced such buggy software as the app manager. The customer experience is just shocking and I wish Adobe would just offer direct downloads for the software we need rather than use the app manager.
I'm currently trying to install the latest versions of the programs but the app manager keeps showing "Unable to reach Adobe servers, Please check firewall settings and try again in a few minutes".
I do not have any firewalls on my network.
I've uninstalled all previous versions of the applications.
The app manager will download a few % and then the message appears again. I click retry and it downloads another few % before showing the message again. I keep doing this until the program is fully downloaded and installed which take hours. Because I am able to eventually download the app, the error should be anything to do with my setup or internet connection as I've never had this issue before when installing adobe products.
Is there a way we can bypass the app manager and install the programs directly? This is getting very annoying and I just need my apps to install without wasting days clicking the retry button.

I'm having the exact same problem. Photoshop is stuck at 0%.
Have the links for direct download changed? When I went to  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.htmland then scrolled down the page to:
    Photoshop CC 2014 (64-bit)
    740 MB
    File 2
    801 MB
    File 1
and then clicked on File 1 and File 2, I reached a page that says "You don't have permission to access "http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/15/win64/Photoshop_15_LS20_win64.7z?" on this server."

  • Unable to reach adobe servers, past 3 days Feb 20, 2015

for the past 3 days I've been getting a message when I trey to use the Adobe Application Manager after purchasing Adobe Creative Cloud service. I've tried two different computers, a Mac and a PC. Im also unable to get to the adobeid.services.adobe.com to reset my password (server not found), I have rebooted, shut down, shut down my firewall, check my hosts table for redirects. I can get to adobe.com because I'm posting here right now.
I contacted Adobe and chatted with an associate who was unhelpful, but I was told my request would be "Elevated to the relevant team", who have not made any attempt to contact me at this time.

    Please refer to:

In Creative Cloud Application "unable to reach adobe servers please check your firewall settings"
Unable to reach Adobe servers when opening Creative Cloud

  • Download Error. Unable to reach Adobe servers. Please check your internet connectivity, firewall settings, and then try again.(12175)

I've searched everywhere, deleted those 2 folders in the username/local/adobe directory, and tried turning off my firewall. Unfortunately, I can't even use a live chat room because I'm trying to try it out first so I'm not a pro member yet.
Windows 7 64-bit, I use windows firewall and nothing else.

    Here's my PC info.
I cleared the following data from my Chrome browser
    I disabled my entire firewall
I ran the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, with my browser closed. I chose option 3 followed by option 1. This screenshot is just for reference.
After all of that, I re-installed Creative Cloud with a brand-new download of the installer. It installed fine, no errors and auto-launched. Made sure my firewall was disabled before signing in.
And in the end, this is what I got.

  • Keep getting "Installation Failed. Unable to reach Adobe Servers" error!

I am connected to internet, though i admit with a rather slow DSL, but I cannot get either PS or LL updates to download. Have tried logging out of CC and logging back in, booting in Safe Mode (I'm on an iMac running Yosemite). The error window says to check internet connectivity, firewall settings and try again. Been there, done that! Help.

All downloaded successfully after a while.
Cannot think how it could have been firewall related when the error message would appear after the download had started and after a number of tries the software would download? As my message states Photoshop and Illustrator came down after number of tries the rest took much longer.

  • Cannot login to Creative Cloud, "Unable to reach Adobe servers," error message, but other people in the office can login.

All Adobe apps have the "Sync Settings" button grayed out, and in the Creative Cloud app the prefs are grayed out. I think all these problems started with the last Yosemite 10.10.2 update. That was the same time my palates stopped working on dual monitors with any Adobe app. Help? Please? I already tried deleting the OOBE folder.

Yosemite sometimes has problems, often related to "default" permissions needing to be changed

  • Error message saying that I am unable to reach adobe servers and to check my fire wall settings

I have installed everything on another computer on my network that should have all the same firewall settings, but I can't get this to go on my windows 8.1 desktop.  I have even shut my firewall off and I get the same message.  Should I work with Adobe or my Norton (my firewall software) to get a solution to this?

    Hi rexjason,
Kindly disable the Norton security software once & try to install Adobe CC after that.
Let us know if it doesn't resolve.
