Downloading files off Internet

Question

Hi there,
I'm trying to download zip files off an Internet site and so far all I've ound after an hour of trawling the net is some code to get to the file which I then incorporated into my program. The output is valid so I think I'm on the right path. The site dowsn't require authentication so all I want to do is download that file. If anyone has a site that I can visit to get more info on this or help me in the right direction. Not sure if I need to use sockets or if I can simply save the file that is being viewed. The code that I have so far:

Thanx a million,
I really feel like an idiot but I'm having problems with the file itself. When I run the program it gives the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.io.FileNotFoundException:
Exception in thread "main" java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Downloads (Access is denied)Not sure if I made created the path name correctly and it would really be a great help if you could tell me how to point the path to the applications directory.
The path is a global variable:
private static final String FILE_PATH =  "C:/Downloads/";
>File f = new File("The path & file name that you want
to save it");I then used that variable in the code that you provided like this:
File f = new File(FILE_PATH);
