DP background processing job giving error

Hi All,
I am running few macros in a DP job. The macros are simple ones for just few KF additions.
When I am running the macros in interactive planning mode, and saving the results, it works all fine.
The same macros (in the job) when run in background, I am getting an error - " History cannot be entered in book, you cannot save data" and the results are not saved in the planning book.
Any pointer to this would be of great help.

I found a similar thread in SDN which describes the issue.
History cannot be entered in book
Is it the check box 'Not ready for input' under Unit Column tab?
Or Input check box (next to Visbile) ?
In our case, 'Not ready for input' is not checked and Input from is checked.

I have been creating an VB.NET application using VS 2005.NET Pro. I believe the version of Crystal reports is 10.0 - I think. I got the following error when I created a new report and then compiled:

I have looked at several threads with this error already, but they seem to be having the error when the app is running. I am just compiling and I get this error. Now, counted the number of reports I have created and it is 15. 16 reports seems to trigger this error. What is going on and what should I do? Thanks in advance.

One more thing, I do not have this in my registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CRYSTAL DECISIONS\*10.2*\REPORT APPLICATION SERVER\SERVER\PrintJobLimit
I have looked all over the place it PrintJobLimit does not exist. Again, I am using Visual Studio.NET 2005 Pro on a Windows XP Pro machine. Thanks again.

First DTP in Process chain giving Error "CX_RSB_WRITE_ERROR"

Hi All,
I am facing a problem when I execute a process chain.
I have a master process chain and 3 sub process chains. Each of these sub process chains are having some DTP in it in a sequential order. These DTP's are Independent of each other, so even if the first one gives you errors, the remaining ones will get executed.
These DTP's are used to put some files in to the Open Hub Destination, which is the application server, using logical files names.
now the problem is that, when i execute the master Process Chain, the first DTP in each of the sub Process chains are getting failed by giving an error. the error is as follows.
Error : Uncaught_exception.
Exception : CX_RSB_WRITE_ERROR
Any idea in how to correct this? Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

You might have missed some parameters in the FILE transaction.

This might not be an security or authorization issue if u did not face such issue earlier. if so check with BASIS and add security roles to the generic user.

BPM Process trigger - giving error

I have already tried both ways, including the mesage start trigger with WSDL and default service.(No luck on both scenarios, earlier it's was working fine perfectly).
We made some changes to WSDL, adding Few element as per our business logic.
Application it's not triggering the process.

Output Processing routine giving error in VA01 - Processing Log

Hi,
We have assigned a Smartform in NACE to a Customized Output type ZURE.
When we issue the Output we are getting the Output proceed correctly but in the processing log we are getting an Error record 'Processing routine ENTRY_NEU in program ZRVADOR01 does not exist', but the routine ENTRY_NEU exits in the program ZRVADOR01 and output is generating form the same routine.
Please advice how to proceed.

I understand that u have copied the Program ZRVADOR01 from Standard prg RVADOR01.
Then you have to <b>activate all the includes</b> in your program ZRVADOR01.
The Form Routine ENTRY_NEW may exist in a include which may not be Active.

ERES process is giving error in Case Management

Hi All,
I am trying to implement ERES in Case Management -> Agent Dashboard -> Case Summary (click on 'E-Record' button).
I have done the setups as mentioned in the Doc ID 1067744.1.
I am facing the below issues
1. As per the step 9 (Expected results), 'E-Record Details' is not enabled in 'Tools1' menu. It's still disabled.
2. As per the step 11, I am able to test the AME setups - No Issues.
3. As per the step 6 (ERES Administrator), when I validate the event 'oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval', I am getting the below error under XML Payload.
An unexpected error has occurred while generating the XML payload. ORA-20001: The DB to XML transformation has failed with the following error: ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND. The log file details are: ecx.plsql.out.61034.1609.log ORA-06512: at "APPS.APP_EXCEPTION", line 72 ORA-06512: at "APPS.EDR_UTILITIES", line 1488 ORA-06512: at line 2
Could anyone help me to resolve this error for "ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND"?
I noticed that there is NO data in ECX_MAPPINGS table for the event when I run the below query

Solution:
Add a new Subscription Parameter called EDR_XML_MAP_CODE for "oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval" business event:
1. Login as SYSADMIN user
2. (R) Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility
3. (N) Administrator Workflow: Business Events
4. Search for Name = oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval
5. Click on "Subscription" icon
6. Click on Update pen icon
7. Update Event Subscriptions page will load
8. Click on Next
9. At the Subscription Parameters section click on Add Another Row button
10. Add EDR_XML_MAP_CODE with oracle.apps.edr.erectxt.create value and Apply.

Process Chain giving error

Hi All,
We are using a web service data source (gets data from MDM through XI). We created a process chain for this load, but when it's run, the chain is failed at the process type " Close any Open requests (this process consists of the corresponding Info Package)" saying that info package was not found. But all the objects are in active status only.
Can anyone please provide me with the solution?

Thank you for your responses.
The problem was solved by saving all the info packages that are present in the 'Close Open Requests' process type of the process chain and running the process chain again.
This may be because we have migrated all the objects to the production system before the process chain run. So i think the Info Packages need to be saved in the production system.

License and Maximum Report Processing Jobs Limit error how to overcome

HI,
I am using Crystal Reports XI Release 2. .Net 2010 c# web forms and published IIS7 windows serer 2008 . everyday i am getting the above error and i have tried to close and dispose the objects , but some its not working correctly and when i am checking the temp folder i can see the reports which is not disposed. as soon as i restarted the iis its working , how i can overcome the challenges .
if anybody can help this matter i will be very obliged.

Error during background processing which is created by Std.program RFBIBL00

Hi Gurus,
     I am using standard program RFBIBL00 to generate batch session for the Tcode FB01.
     My BDC is working fine , if i choose foreground or display error only option in SM35.But when i process the same session in
     background it is giving error Field BSEG-DMBTR does exist in SAPMF05A 0302.
                             One more thing i want to point out when i process the session in forground or in display error only option
                  there i am getting information message Field BSEG-DMBTR does exist in SAPMF05A 0302. But for background due to same message i.e (Field BSEG-DMBTR does exist in SAPMF05A 0302) session processing is failed.
                                Actually through ZProgram data being uploaded to application server. Then i am executing std. program RFBIBL00 to generate session.And when i go to SM35 & choose the just created session for background processing,then processin i failed.
                          We have recently upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. Previously RFBIBL00 program is working fine but after upgrade it is not working.
               Please give your valuable suggession.

Background Processing
Prerequisites
You have started the message monitor on the initial screen of the PCK and are in Background Processing.
Features
Archiving
You require two archiving sessions to archive messages:
●     One session to write the messages to the archive
●     One session to delete the persisted messages that have been archived
To do this, you schedule an archiving job, which implicitly schedules the sessions to write to the archive and delete the archived messages.
You can define one or more rules for each archiving job; these rules contain conditions that a message must meet in order to be archived by the job. At least one of the defined rules must be met for archiving to take place.
All information that is displayed for a message in message monitoring is archived, in addition to the audit log for each message.
Deleting
A standard delete job is created automatically. It runs once a day. You can schedule additional delete jobs; however, you cannot define rules for them.
Restarting
Instead of restarting messages with errors manually with message monitoring, you can schedule a job to automatically restart these messages. This is possible for all messages for which the number of defined restart attempts has been exceeded (messages with the system error status).
You can define one or more rules for each job to restart messages; these rules contain conditions that a message must meet in order to be restarted by the job. At least one of the defined rules must be met for archiving to take place.
Rescheduling
A standard job to reschedule messages is created automatically. The job runs once a day and ensures that messages lost as a result of database failure, for example, are rescheduled. You can schedule additional rescheduling jobs; however, you cannot define rules for them.

Till now we have seen how to resubmit/restart message that failed in Integration Engine. One a message makes it from Integration Engine to Adapter Engine, the message is flagged as checked in Integration Engine. The status of the message in Adapter engine does not effect the processed state in Integration Engine. Now if this message was asynchronous, XI will by default try to restart the message 3 times at intervals of 5 minutes before the status of the message is changed from Waiting to System Error .
*how can i schedule a job to automatically restart these messages with errors?

Error in GUI_DOWNLOAD in background processing

Hi All,
We have a program that is using GUI_DOWNLOAD to download the results in text and .dbf format. In foreground it is working fine.But in background the job is getting cancelled with a log that "Error in Downloading file."
Please let me know if there is any solution for this.

GUI_DOWNLOAD does not work properly in the background.
You can change the GUI_DOWNLOAD by
'open dataset .. for output... ' and 'close dataset..' and use 'transfer..' to fill up the file.

I'm getting an intermittent error in our custom reporting application using Crystal Reports Server XI R2 w/ SP1:
Error in File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\{F6D30537-956A-458C-96D0-84ECB520D688}.rpt: The request could not be submitted for background processing.
I'm using the Report Application Server XI Release 2 .NET SDK. This is the code that produces the exception (The export type is pdf):

This has been happening regularly about once a week, at which point the RAS fails and no more reports can be run until the CMS and RAS servers have been restarted.

Parallel processing in background using Job scheduling...

(Note: Please understand my question completely before redirecting me to parallel processing links in sdn. I hve gone through most of them.)
Hi ABAP Gurus,
I have read a bit till now about parallel processing. But I have a doubt.
I am working on data transfer of around 5 million accounting records from lagacy to R/3 using Batch input recording.
Now if these all records reside in one flat file and if I then process that flat file in my batch input program, I guess it will take days to do it. So my boss suggested
to use parallel processing in SAP.
Now, from the SDN threads, it seems that we have to create a Remote enabled function module for it and stuf....
But I have a different idea. I thought to dividE these 5 million records in 10 flat files instead of just one and then to run the Custom BDC program with 10 instances which will process 10 flat files in background using Job scheduling.
Can this be also called parallel processing ?
Please let me know if this sounds wise to you guys...
