  • Modalidade de determinação da BC do ICMS ST - Indústria Farmaceutica

    Amigos,

    Henrique,
    Primeiramente , obrigado pela resposta.
Segundo nosso cliente, sim.

  • EMail Link in SWF exported from InD CS5 does not work

I'm trying to find a definitive answer on this. I have designed an interactive document in InD CS5 that has buttons and hyperlinks. When exported to SWF everything works except my e-mail hyperlink. It works fine in InDesign's preview pane. I've uploaded the file to my webserver for testing, the problem still occurs.
I found one post in another forum that quoted an Adobe InD developer stating that as of CS4 email links were not exported. However, I've not been able to find any mention of whether this works in CS5 or not.
Does anybody know for sure whether or not email links work in SWF files exported from CS5?

Sorry, no offense was intended. I had found references to problems with CS4, but nothing about CS5, and said as much in my post -- was frustrated that I had spent a long time looking and hadn't found any responses yet.
You mentioned using buttons rather than hyperlinks, and that worked for me -- but it might have just been a problem with my browser not properly reloading the flash file, too -- as I mentioned in my response.
But in any case, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUGGESTION!

  • Placed SWFs in IND CS4 do not work

    Hey,
I've been searching the Internet for forum-topics/posts on similar problems unsuccessfully. Now I hope to get some help on my prob from the "collective expertise" here ;)
    My aim:
    Creating a PDF-presentation including multimedia-contents (SWF-Files).
    Workflow so far:
I created the presentation in InDesign CS4. On some pages I want to place SWF-Files which I've created in Flash CS4
(Export for FlashPlayer 9, Movie-compression activated).
Once finished the layout, I want to export the doc to PDF
(PDF Export options: PDF 1.7, Multimedia-Content embedded, no color-conversion, no compression )
    My problem:
    1) No preview of the SWF-File in the InD-Doc itself. Doc doesn't indicate that the movie was actually placed. Only movie-roll-picture is shown.
    2) Movie doesn't load in Acrobat 9 Pro on opening the exported PDF (Buffering starts but no process is shown)
Is there something wrong with my export-options or can InD simply not handle SWF-Files (but export into SWF )?
Are there other export-formats in Flash CS4 I can place in InDesign?
My only "workaround" so far: SWF-files can directly be placed in a PDF via Acrobat, but is this the only way?

These two posts by David Blatner may help:

  • PL/SQL Hierarchical Profiler: plshprof  output - meaning of Ind% column

    Hi,
During analysis of an PL/SQL Performance issue I started using the DBMS_HPROF Profiler, but could not find a good source of information about interpreting the out html-files.
I went through the Database advanced Application Developers Guide chapter: "Using the PL/SQL Hierarchical Profiler" which has a small section explaining the html output generated by this tool.
I'm aware of the possibility of using the analyze function for populating the DBMSHP_* Tables, but I would like also to use the html output too.
Unfortunately there is no explanation about the Ind% column in the various html pages in the documentation. Searching the internet didn't bring up much information either.
    for example:

  • How to place CADD (DWG) files into an InD document

I am going to be receiving CADD drawing which have to be placed in my document.  Traditionally  CADD are "DWG" files.  Can I receive them as DWG  and import or place them.  Must they be "Photoshopped" first and changed to a TIFF file.  I do not see any mention of this kind of file in InD or in Photoshop.  Is receiving them as an already changed to PDF the only other option?  Is there something in Illustrator that might be helpful.
    Thanks

  • Planned ind.requirement is not reduced during processing of the goods issue

    Hello to all,
    I am facing a problem.
We are using make to stock production with strategy 10 (LSF).
On 1.12.2006 the ind.requirement (LSF) is entered for week 4.2007 (I see that from schedule line history) for the material A.
In the system at that time there were a sales order which needed that material A in exact quantity the LSF was. The GI of the delivery were on 13.01.2007.
The LSF still exist in the system and it can be seen in MD04.
Before running every MRP, a planning scenario is being created and run. From MS04 I can see that the LSF exists since then in all scenarios except from 3.
The schedule line history of the LSF has only its creation (1.12.2006).
Can you please explain to me the following:
    1. why in the first place the LSF did not reduce after the GI of delivery?
    2. the LSF does not exist in olny 3 scenarios. how it could disappear (delete) and appear (create) again without history displays that changes?
    3. If I delete the LSF I think I will not have a problem. Correct?
Thank you in advance for your help.
    IX

    Hi Ismini,
For the first question, there could be several reasons, like for example, 13.1 is not week 4. So if the consumption parameters did not allow forward for at least around 7-10 days (to get to the date of the first day in week 4), then consumtion didn't take place. Another reason could be that you defined planning strategy 10 for the material AFTER the sales order was already created.
Point 2: I really don't know he details of these LTP scenarios that you mention.
Point 3: if it really is from 2007 I think that you can delete the PIR without fear.
    Regards,
    Mario

  • Need a file converted from InD CS5 to InD CS4...

Had someone do some work for me and their source file came as a CS5 InDesign version 7 file (I think)... which I cannot open in CS4 InD version 6.  Is there such as thing as file converter of some kind or do I need to have them or someone else open it in CS5 and save it in some compatible format?

Yes (well, to the 2nd part of your question).
Ask someone who has a CS5 to save it as IDML, or (always an option!) download the fully functional trial of CS5, and you have about 30 days to do it yourself.

  • InD CS3, Mac OS 10.5.6, getting old bug

    Hey folks --
Over the last week I've been getting InDesign crashes (once or twicer daily) with the message "The network connection was lost for the file [filename] or the file was modified by another process." I suspect that it's occurring during autosaves, because there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it.
The network connection is NOT being lost.
I've seen this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/323292 and it appears to have been an issue that was apparently solved in the past.
Our "server" is a ReadyNAS Duo using a drive formatted as EXT3, shared over AFP.
I realize this doesn't appear to be a common occurrance for any others out there, but... anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Thank you all. Unfortunately, I AM our IT department.
I was sort of press-ganged into it. <rolleyes>
So, that answers some of the questions raised -- next, I know the connection's not being dropped because nothing else is raising holy heck about it (typically, in my experience, the finder is the first to yell).
Next, I have decent evidence that it isn't the network generally that's to blame -- three other users, no issues (all running CS3 -- albeit on different machines). I have to suspect that it's some combination of 10.5.6, the brand-new Intel Xeon desktop (mine), our network, and CS3.
Most likely, it may not even be an issue in CS4 -- unfortunately, I can't upgrade because as a design & advertising studio, we all need to be on the same version.
Sandee, I realize that there's no "autosave" per se, but surely InD must do some kind of magic behind the scenes, otherwise it wouldn't be able to restore files after a crash, correct?
Lastly, I just have to ask because it stuns me... What's the point of having a server if you don't work with the files on it? I'm supposed to copy the file onto my hard drive, work on it, and then copy it back when I'm done? What kind of efficiency is that? Really, I'm just curious -- if slightly incredulous.
(also, I'm going to leave this question open because who knows, maybe someone else will come along -- thanks again tho)

  • InD blocking Ps to save a file / Could not save * because the file is already in use error

Many users have reported a  Photoshop Could not save * because the file is already in use error in many different circumstances.
I place raw jpgs in InDesign document, then open them in Photoshop via Edit original order to adjust them. On random occasions Ps gives me that annoying error. So i found a little trick to avoid saving that image under a different name and relinking it plus reloading Ps since the error repeats on other pictures to.
All you have to do is: when Ps gives error, (Cmd-Tab) switch to InD, directly select the worked jpg in image frame (one that you try to save in Ps)  and simply move it left-right (or move it and Undo). Now you can save it without problem.

JPEG is a "lossy" compression format. Every time you save as jpeg you recompress and throw away a little more information. In addition, jpeg does not support transparency or layers, both very useful features for woring with images. For example, you can add an adjustment layer in Photoshop to do your adjustments non-destructively for may of the things that you can do using Image > Adjustments... which will change your pixel data permanently. Throw away an adjustment layer and you image data is untouched. Also, ID allows you to place a layered image and control layer visibility from within ID, making it possible to multi-purpose a single file by showing or hiding various layers.

  • Difference "abc indicator" in MRP1 & "cc phys inv ind" in plant data stor1

    Hello,
we want to do cycle counts and I noticed that there are two different field in the material master for that.
I think they have a different purpose?
"ABC indicator"  field in MRP1 view
    and
"cc phys inv ind" field in plant data/ stor 1 view
Can somebody please explain the difference?
    Thanks
    Anne

MC40 and MC41 dont need customizing, setting can be made in selection screen.
ABC analysis for cycle count MIBC needs customizing.
In MRP1 view the field name is MARC-MAABC while on storage location view the field name is MARC-ABCIN.
The one on storage location view is used for cycle count, and includes ABC and D, and is caclulated by MIBC transaction.
The indicator in MRP1 view is calculated and updated by MC40 and MC41 transaction
MICN is the only one that can update the indicator used for cycle counting.
if you execute both transaction with same settings, then there should be the same result.
However, pretty often the cycle count indicators are precalculated by MICN based on consumption, but then individual items are changed to get a different indicator for specific reasons.
You may have a low value item, which is very important for your processes.
Based on consumption values it may get indicator C, but if you have differences on that item then it is a critical factor for your business, hence you want count it more often, thus you would manually change it to B or even A. (which can be done directly from the MICN report)
The focus on both indicators can be equal in many companies, but may also be different in other companies, hence you need 2 indicators for ABC analysis

  • IND CS3 and Acrobat 9 Pro

I am working in IND CS3 version 5.0.4 and Acrobat 9 Pro version 9.0.0
Computer: Windows XP Pro, Ver.2002, SP 3
    Dell Optiplex GX 620, Pent. D 3GHZ, 3.50GB RAM
    Question:
I am new to the PC environment and have noticed that everytime I double-click an IND CS3 document to open it my computer freezes and then opens it in Acrobat 9 Pro as a PDF. Also noticed that I can't drag a PDF to the shortcut on desktop for Acrobat to open PDFs.
Anyone know why these things happen?
    Thanks for any help.
    Andy

Check your file associations - they are in two places. Windows Folders and in Bridge. In Windows go to Control Panel. Find Folder Options. Go to File Type. Find indd and make sure it defaults to Indesign.exe. With PDF find Acrobat*.exe

  • Questions about PDF exporting with InDe CS5.5

    Hey all,
A couple questions about exporting to PDF from the latest version of InDe.
First, I have noticed that it seems to take a lot longer to get to a PDF. Any suggestions for how to speed up the process? It took 8 minutes or so to generate a low-res PDF (for print) of a 24pp document with a few placed images and vector graphics. Wow, that's a long time to wait, especially for a proof.
Second, the background task... if I get it going on making that 8-minute PDF and then work some more on the document, what exactly is in the PDF? Usually I save before making a PDF or printing. So, is the last version saved what will be in the PDF?
(As an aside, this ability to work on the doc while generating a PDF seems kind of weird. Generally one makes a PDF for proofing, or even for printing, when all the changes have been made and everything is "final". So, I see no benefit to being able to work on my document while it's making a PDF, as I'm probably finished making revisions for the time being. I have to say that I kind of like the progress bar you get when you make an interactive PDF, as you know you can't work on the document when that's on the screen... )
    Thanks as always.

Yes, this is abnormally long (and too long), something is wrong. What's the full version of InDesign you are running, as reported by holding down Cmd or Control and selecting About InDesign?
Second, the background task... if I get it going on making that 8-minute PDF and then work some more on the document, what exactly is in the PDF? Usually I save before making a PDF or printing. So, is the last version saved what will be in the PDF?
Saving is not related. InDesign makes a database snapshot of your document the moment you begin the PDF export, and makes the export relative to that snapshot, regardless of edits you continue to make during the export process, and regardless of saving. Of course saving first is a good idea, for several reasons, not the least of which it sounds like something's fairly seriously wrong with your document or your InDesign installation.
We recommend you trash your preferences and export your document to IDML and see if either of those things changes this 8-minute behavior...err, assuming you're running 7.5.2.318.

Yeah, I think the primary benefit is if you are likely to work on 2 or more files in parallel, so you can finish A and export A and then switch to B. If you'd like a dialog box to pop up when export is done, check out my exportPop script from this post: ANN: automatic dialog after background export (exportPop.jsx.

  • Folio Builder Panel - notifies when inD source is updated

I'm missing something important here : when working on a multiple articles issue, if i make changes to some but not all inDesign documents, how do i know which articles i have to update ? do i randomly click ? update all ? a small asterisk would be welcome when the source doc is no more in sync with what's been uploaded/created in the folio.
Or is this something i overlooked ?
PS : i'm also missing "ideas" in that forum that would help people link to those, propose solutions and feel the tool will fit their needs later.

Yep John, thanks for the answer.
My idea on this is that we need visual clue to know if something changes. If i want to update, then i do, knowing that. If i don't want to update, i don't have to, as you mentioned.
Now, knowing what is on a different moment (is Folio older than inD, etc) so far i can't tell, whether by watching the line in FBP, or even hoovering, the info is not shown, although it is somewhere in the xml.
You cannot decide to update something without information, if you don't know it has been updated… Neither wasting time to update all.
I don't want to force anything, i want visual help.
Many customers have a single IDD that is in many folios. For some folios, they want to update when the IDD changes, for some they don't.
this quote especially : those users might wonder whether they have the latest version or not
And don't worry, i know it's not an easy one, but raising the question might only help to get feedback.

  • Can I open Mac InD files on a Windows Machine?

I've found a template by Mike Singleton in the InD Exchange for the Xerox FlipBook Paper. The download is Mac but I need to open it with Win InD (CS4).
If it's possible, what are the steps?
    Thanks for your help...

Edit: OK, now I read the first post, too. I've actually downloaded and and opened that template on CS4 in Windows, and it works fine. Not, however, a lot of instruction to go with it. There's a video on the Xerox site you'll want to download and study carefully to help you figure out what goes where.

  • Hiding IND CS3 with Leopard 10.5.4 (still disappearing when hidden)

    Hello all...
I updated Leopard to 10.5.4 as I was told it would resolve the "disappearing act" IND CS3 does when you hide the program and then come back to it... It seemed all good for the last couple of days until I just noticed the disappearing act again just now. I'd try and bring the program to the foreground, the icon says it's there, Apple+Tab says it's there and the first program opened, but I don't see anything, despite hitting the tab key (to toggle tool boxes & palettes) or launching documents outside of the program's Open command...
    anyone else?

Oh yes, happens to me too - I'm pretty sure this is Apple related as a lot of other people have had the same thing happen with other apps. I sometimes get the same thing happening with Bryce.
In my extremely-non-expert-but-completely-by-educated-guesswork opinion, it's something to do with memory.
