Drag Bar Script Help
Hello! I was wondering if anyone might help...
I have created a Pop Up (without a Scroll bar) and below you
can find the script... everything is working out ok, with the
exception of the effect I am looking for when dragging. When I
attempt to drag the Pop Up around, the background moves with it(
buttons and everything).
What should happen, is that only the MC inl Window1, 2...
should move. Can someone help me figure this out please?

The Window's MC are Linkaged...
it's not clear what the dragbar is and it's relationship to
mc. but if the dragbar were a child of mc, that code would probably
result in the effect you want.
it would be better coding to remove that code from dragbar
and apply the startDrag() method to mc in your onRelease whee mc is
created.

Make sure that your carrier is set to automatic. If it is and the problem persists the try removing the sim card from the phone for a minute and the reinserting it.

in the middle of my last update it stopped updating in the because of an unknown source, and now my screen on my iphone is frozen with the apple logo and a loading bar. Help??
Unknown "source"? Do you mean unknown "error" followed by a number?

Follow the instructions in the article. When you connect your phone again, you may have to press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode. -

2. top dragbar is off screen at top. I unmaximize the original screen, now that one also pushes the drag bar to the top off the screen. I resize the bottom of the screen and I can see a sliver of the top dragbar. If I close one browser window, both shut down. Auch!
Please take a look at how safari renders a second browser window when you drag one tab to the other window. Cool!FF4, drag 2nd tab to new window.

I cant type any text in safari or and in all programs i have the arrow cursor and can't change to any tools in the tool bars - please help!
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Mac Book Pro just got it, all was well for 2 weeks now Finder window does not fill whole screen, there is an 1 1/2" space of black on the right side and the Finder window had a 1" section that flipped like a rolling tv now it is a white bar! Help!

Gallery script help, please
Hello,
I'm new to actionscript in general, I do know a little...
I foung a gallery script, modified many things, the images
open fine, everything is working, but here's the thing:
the gallery is in 3 sections, red, blue and yellow.
I would like to know how, what, and where to put a script so
that if a "the small red image #1" is clicked, I can load any sort
of a movie on top of the "the BIG red image #1" or #2 or 3 and so
on...same goes for the blue and yellow...
If I figured things correctly on my own...the small thumbnail
images of the gallery are not buttons, that's why I can't attach a
movie (let's say) to them...but it is all written in script, using
the horizontal and vertical position of the mouse to open the large
images of the gallery...
So, I don't know how to figure things out, to attach a
specific movie to a specific thumbnail...
p.s.: I think the script that controls the gallery is in
symbol 120

firefox not responding, freezes, sometimes responds after a few minutes, other times a pop-up appears asking if I want to stop script - help please
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

The ability to use AirPlay is BOTH an OS requirement(Mountain Lion) AND has hardware requirements. You need to check and see if your 2010 Air will support Airplay.

My friend just bought a Windows 8 laptop so I told her to download the latest version of FireFox. Unfortunately, some idiot removed the Menu Bar which most people love. You can see all of your options in plain English. Anyway, I referred her to help and cannot believe it's so hard to get a simple answer to this question. Why does FireFox make it so difficult to get an old fashioned menu bar?
Help says, "Right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip and check Menu Bar". OK, what is a "TAB STRIP" and where does she find it? Who writes these silly, useless help tips?Grad, you made some good points but we still disagree. I'll acknowledge that maybe millions was a slight exaggeration but nobody has an accurate count. However, I do understand the difference between making something simple and obvious versus a programmer trying to prove how clever he or she is.

As for the number of clicks, I'm confused by your comment. My Menu Bar is always visible so I have to merely '''click once on Bookmarks''' to get to those menu options. It sounds as if you have to initially click on the orange FireFox button in order to see the Menu Bar, and then click a 2nd time on Bookmarks. That sounds like 2 clicks of the mouse to me.
I have Windows 7 and never saw Windows 8 so I can't comment on your excellent question. I personally had the '''Menu Bar displaying 100% of the time''' for as long as I could remember. I just couldn't remember how I initially turned it on several years ago and the help file proved to be more confusing than helpful. -
Items on my side bar do not go Poof when dragged off? Help!

If I pull an item off my side bar it just jumps right back. Mydock items go poof with out problems, but not the side bar items.

I'm searching for and/or am trying to figure out a conky config + script that lets me "sort of see what my pc is doing atm", just a little peek, something that "helps guess" and "blends in". Couldn't find anything that lets me see some random details like that, so I did this for now:

So... that gives me a sort of nice conky bar with some random "what's being done" - now p.e. It tells me that yaourt is calling wget and pacman... and cmake has been started... and for some reason firefox is calling itsself... and some strange python script in /tmp/... with my home directory written behind it as parameters... mmmh... well.... maybe I should check on that later, so back to the topic - what I'm sort of missing is more or less...:
(edit: [solved] / -I would rather have done something like this with lsof, but I didn't manage to get rid of some of the constantly changing columns of lsof output - those lead to way too many reoccurring info's and doesn't give me the feeling of "a little peek behind the curtains" like it's supposed to be )
- There must be an overall better ways to do something like that, right? Any ideas for a smart little script that gets a few lines of "chaotic random backgrund info" with a good: "ooooh, I seeee"-ratio and not too much spam?
(edit: [solved] - "network stuff"! I can't see enough network stuff!!! So if anyone knows an easy (easy as in "call-it-once-per-5-seconds-with-concy"-easy) to show what processes are meddling around on the network most atm, that would be great... maybe I'll try netstat again for just that... )
- Also the whole rest of that config & script are far from perfect...

Thanks, but I'm looking for (see example) a single line or something for a conky bar and something a lot less "systematic"... hard to explain... something to "see stuff fly by"... the "strange small line where I can recognize stuff from time to time"... like at the moment it's telling me "kjournal2d < n/usr/libhistory < bla bla bla < www.archlinux.org < ninotify < npipe < npipe < /bin/bash ./stuff.bash < /dev/input event....." and its going on an on and on which does not make thaaat much sense for but I like seeing it...

JScrollPane bars problem Help!!!
There is some problem with my JScrollPane
I have added components to the JScrollPane but when components exceeds thee size of the JScrollPane the bars of the JScrollPane are not appearing. Please somebody help me... Just drag the JFrame and increase and decrease its size you will understand my problem. i cant see the remaining components because of no scroll bar.

Is there a script to distribute table columns evenly between guides or margins? Here is the issue I am having. I have a big catalog and I need to take the price column out of every item but then i have to (shift-Drag) the table to get it to fill the space where the price column was.

2. This is the table after taking out the price column which is always the last column in all of the tables
3. This is the table after evenly distributing the remaining column to fill the space where the price column was.
I have a script that does step 2, now I just need one that will do step 3 if possible? Basically I have a script that deletes the last column in every table in a document but I need one to distribute the columns after taking out the price one.
