Drill down (Double click) option in BSP

I need to provide  double click(drill down) option in the  report layout of BSP.
How to do that.

in the tableview column element you have the attributes like 'onclick' etc. there you specify the event that has to be triggered when the user clicks on the link. In the oninput processing you ca write code for the event handlers. below is a sample code:
<htmlb:tableViewColumn columnName="APPRAISAL_NAME" title="<%= otr(YP_HRPA/APPRAISAL_DOC_NAME)
%>" width="300" wrapping="<%=cl_bsp_hap_document_cs=>c_true%>" <u>onCellClick="CellClickDocument" type="LINK" onItemClick="CellClickDocument"</u> sort="TRUE">
also check out the examples in the htmlb_samples, sbspext_htmlb.

  • Reg:SSM KPI Drill Down (Once Click KPI need to display relevant measures)

    Dear Friends
I have the enclosed requirement. Pl. suggest proper solution.
When we drill down need to display the calculated measures of respective KPI.
Here same KPI has different measures in drill down.
Does we need to have different KPIs or can we have different measures for single KPI as per dimension member
    Pl. suggest

    SriG

    Sri,
Are you saying that you have a KPI that has 2 dimensions but the 2 dimensions have completely different metric calculations so that the component metrics that that are combined to make your DIMM1 have no influence on you DIMM2?
If this is the case then I think you would need 2 separate KPIs which would have different structures.
There is no problem combining multiple metrics together to create a KPI and even incorporating calculations into that combination.
To use an example from the insurance world: Combined Operating Ratio is derived by combining net claims, net commissions and net expenses, each of which is derived from multiple data elements and each of these metrics can be dimensioned by for example product, channel, region.

  • How do I create a drill down for my summary data?

I have 7 fields of summary data with all having a common link called the customer account number.
I have tried the following steps several time carefully and was unable to get my drill down to work.
Insert menu > Group and chose the customer account number as my group field
copy and paste the summary fields to the group header ( which I now have hundreds of GH1)
Right click on the details section and chose Hide.
    Suppress the Group Footer
File Menu > Report options and check on Show All Headers on Drill Down.
I must be missing a step somewhere here.  I end up with no summary fields showing (to drill down into), and the customer account numbers showing.
Can some check this out for me?

    hi Michael,
you need a group to have drill down. you can't drill down on a report footer. if you can't group by these categories then you can't have drill down.
your other option is to create an on demand subreport that you can open. i would suggest that you go through a bunch of the e-learning tutorials on crystal reports here. after that go to the online help for crystal reports and use the search tab and search for "creating an on demand subreport"
you'd need to create an on demand subreport for each total that you are showing. again, please see the elearning topics especially on subreports, grouping. and then do follow the steps on on demand subreports in the online help.

  • Bridge Does Not Automatically Bring Up Photoshop When the Photo is Double-Clicked

I have just purchased CS4 with Bridge for my new MacIntosh.  In Bridge for the PC, when I double click a photo it automatically brings up Photoshop.  On the Mac version, it gives me an error message saying that part of the application is not loaded.  I completely uninstalled the program, and reloaded the application and still get the same message.  So in Bridge on the Mac, to get around this, I right click the picture and go to "Open With" and there are two entries:  "Open with CS4 (default)" and "Open with CS4."  This works if I pick either option.  My Windows version only has "Open with CS4 (default)" as the option.
I called Adobe support (in India?) with no solution.
I really like the double click option rather that using the pop-out menu choice.  What is wrong with the Mac install, and how can I fix this issue?

Thank you for your help.  I updated the software and it "healed" itself.

This might mean that you have either 2 installs of CS4 (one on an other

but have it installed in the user account application folder. Could you
    check this?

  • Double-click in Excel XP Win XP not working

I have installed the 6.5 Spreadsheet add-in on over 10 systems on my network. Typically the systems are Win98 running Office 2000. This last week we installed 5 WinXP systems running OfficeXP.I installed the Essbase Add-in on three of the XP systems and thought all was well. Last week one user complained that the double-click function was not working.I tested the other two installs and they work fine.I check the ESSBASE-Options tabs and the double-click option is checked. If I un-check this option, and double-click, the system 'edits' the cell, which is what we'd espect. When I check this option the system appears to do nothing. Right-click also appears to do nothing.I have uninstalled the ESSBASE add-in , and re-installed it, and found no difference. I have also 'repaired' my office installation. There only seems to be one instance of Excel running. Multiple instances seemed to be an issue in the discussion boards. This particular user 'customizes' the desktop, fonts, icons etc. all the time. I keep thinking there must be something in that area that is compromised.Any pointers? Any experience? Any help?Regards

Maybe that user change something in the zoom in section of the essbase options... maybe set it to formulas...

  • Did the double click to open a file or folder go away with the Magic Mouse?

I see that you can set up the right or left "secondary click" and when you click o a folder or file you get the menu to open, etc. But I really perfer to just double click on a file or folder to open it. I see there is a "Double-Click" option at the top of the preferences, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I am on an iMac running 10.6.7
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Cindy Davis

Okay, I am officially embarrassed. I thought I had changed enough things around to see if I could get this to work. I had the “Double-Click’ in the preferences set to the far right to be “fast,” the same way I have “Tracking”and “Scrolling,” and those two work fine.  I decided to move the slider to the left a bit and it now works. So, if anyone else has this problem – here’s the solution!

  • Agentry - Disable Double Click Action on Individual Row

Is it possible to disable the double click action on a single row in a list screen?  I wanted to have a rule that would disable a row if it has already been updated.  Let me know if that is possible.

The double click option can not be set by a rule or not, but the action is called, you can put an enable rule on to check the data already.

  • Swipe up vs double clicking the home button. Can't grab the swipe handle!

The teachers at our school uses the Air Server software to project their iPads to their whiteboard for their students. We've always been able to double click the home button to get to the Air Play controls to turn it on but with the new update we can no longer double click, we have to swipe up. The problem is, we have all of our iPads in "kid proof" otterbox type cases and it is next to impossible to grab whatever it is that allows you to swipe up and get to those functions. Please tell me there is another option out there or please give us back the double click option.

Thanks and we actually have the Gumdrop cases here at school. Maybe they are different, idk, but it has caused a good bit of frustration. Is there a trick to  it?

  • Essbase Add-in and Office 2010 double clicking drilling down issue

We have Office 2010 and Essbase Add-in 6.5.4 and some users are having issues when double clicking to zoom in. When using the double-click to drill down, it flashes a few times and drills down to the lowest level even though it is setup to zoom to the next level. It works when you use zoom in from the menu and this doesnt happen to all the users. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

We had similar issue but with lower versions of excel where a double click acts continously till the lowest level is reached for the member selected. Notice that all the members are not at the lowest level, it only happens for the current selected cell in excel.
In my case a re-install of add-in worked. Have you tried re-installing add-in. See that unistall is complete before re-installation. As you understand the problem is not with all machines/users, hence it should not be an issue with add-in.

It has to do with the order you enter the fields in the Business Model from Physical model! It must be the opposite way than the one you want them to be show. In your case, you must first delete both fields from your business model, then drag tham in with first the "name" field and then the "code" field.
    It did work for me!
