Driver MySQL How to find the good ?

Hello,
I have a problem with my MySQL driver:
-> java.sql.SQLException: Communication link failure: java.io.EOFException
This problem occured only on one of our Linux OS , then I think that I didn't choose the good driver....
How to know what driver to choose ?
I serached on http://developers.sun.com/product/jdbc/drivers but I don't understand very well how to use it.
Details of my environment:
- MySQL ver 12.18 Distrib 4.0.12, for pc-linux (i686)
- OS: Pentium 2.8GHz 2 giga RAM -> Linux 2.4.20-20.7 i686
- java 1.4.1_02
- JDBC driver: MySQL Connector/J 3.0.16-ga
Mysql Database and java process are on the same machine.
The java soft does only SELECT queries.

This problem occured only on one of our Linux OS , then I think that I didn't choose the good driver....But the problem does not occur on other Linux OS's? Then you must think that the driver there is the good one. Use that driver.

Have you created a Material BOM for finished product ?
if so all your subcomponents can be semi-finished or finished
you can check in CS02 or MAST table

I am developing a smart form for RFQ. There is a standard smartform that SAP has provided for this. But the problem is i dont know how to find the driver program of this smart form. The name of the smart form is /SMB40/MMRFQ_L. it will be of great help if u can reply quickly. Thanks in advance.

2. select application as EA
3. click output type button and select output type as NEU
4. double click on processing routines
5. Application - EA
 Output Types - NEU (RFQ)
 Smart Form Program - /SMB40/FM06P
 Smart Form - /SMB40/MMRFQ_L
 /SMB40/MMRFQ_A
if u want to directly see without going to nace
1. in se11 give view name as VN_TNAPR
2. execute it
3. it will ask for o/p type and application give it
4. then u can directly go to nace "display view processing routines" screen

1. Either standard or Y sapscript layouts,
   we can check their standard programs
   in this manner also.
2. goto se71
   open the layout in DISPLAY mode.
3. FORM------> CHECK -
> TEXTS
4. a small window will come.
    click ok (tick button)
5. Again a new window will come
which will list out all the DRIVER programs,
which use this layout.

how to find the number of containers with respect to each material document. After posting the material document the number of containers cannot stored in MSEG or MKPF table. i can able to find only in QALS table but how to link the material document and inspection lot.

Can you check this bapi BAPI_INSPLOT_GETLIST.In this bapi there is a different selection criteria like material,material document no and all. I think you can use this for your report. Check this and post if need help.

How to find the Data source name on linux server

Good Morning...
I created a rpd in my local machine and deployed on the server through Fusion middle ware.
and copied the catalog file there in the server.
While working on my local machine I have two odbc connections... one is for development and other is for production.
at the time of deployment to the server I changed the development instance to production instance throught the connection pool.
I am encountering the following error while working on the analyis....
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
Error Details
Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. [nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: IM002 code: 0 message: [DataDirect][ODBC lib] Data source name not found and no default driver specified. (HY000)
I think this is because of the mismatch of the datasource name in server and my local machine...could you please tell me how to find the datasource names on the server?

I created two ODBC connections in my system.
one for development and another for Production.
while deploying the rpd to the server I changed the development login credentials with production login.
The problem here is I just want to know whether Iam giving the same datasource name which was presented on the server or not.
I don't have access to the server now.
Is there any way to find out the datasource names which were presented on the server with the help of admin console?

goto SE16 Click F4, You have two options Information system & Sap Applications.
Click on SAP Applications & selec the application you wnat to see, for E.g Purchasing you can click on materials managemnt, Purchasing if you drill down you will see the list of tables....

how to find the data loaded from r/3 to bw is correct . i am not able to find which feild in the query is connected to which feild in the r/3 . where i am geting the data from r/3 . is there any process to find which feild and table the data is comming from . plz help

Hi Veda ... the mapping between R/3 fields and BW InfoObjects should take place in Transfer Rules. Other transformation could take place in Update Rule.
So you could proceed this way: look at InfoProvider Data Model and see if the Query does perform any calculation (even with Virtual keyfigures / chars). Than go back to Update Rules and search for other calculation / transformation. At least there are Tranfer Rule and eventually DataSource / Extraction Enhancements.
As you can easily get there are many points where you have to look for ... it's a quite complex work but very usefull.
Once you will have identified all mappings / transfromation see if BW data matchs R/3 (considering calculations ...)

Hi,
The PI 7.1 Server shall definitely posses a Database. This Database shall have the ABAP and Java Dictionary tables in 2 different database schemas.You sholud be getting the names of the schema from the basis team supporting your server.
I hope your are referring to the Java DB Schema for access. In order to get the schema name for the Java Dictionary, you should have access to the NetWeaver Adminstrator (NWA) of the PI Server.
Logon to NWA, navigate to Configuration Management --> Infrastructure --> Application Resources. Select the Resurce Type to show as JDBC Drivers. Select the system driver and click on Dependent JDBC Datasources. This table should give you the schema name of the Java Table Storage of the PI 7.1 server.

We also found there was a "COL TEXT A80" in our glogin.sql. I don't know whether we put it there or whether it was installed by default. This resulted in some views which had been defined with longer lines having words chopped in half, which is no good for creating scripts. Therefore when selecting view text I also issue a
