DS1.3 : SDK UI5 Table Control with Column Grouping

Hello,
Have anybody successfully implemented the "grouped" property of "sap.ui.table.Column" in Design Studio 1.3? This property seems to fail the complete page load.
We are on Design Studio 1.3 SP01.

Hello,
I think you need to attach the output of your table to the input of the form that contains your button, so that this form "is aware" that you have changed the selected line.
Then you assign an action to the mapping and to the column so that when you click on a line of the table it "calls" the form.
You can give it a try, but I'm not sure of this.

Can you clarify please?... you say have a table control containing the following columns:
kschl TYPE kscha,
kbetr TYPE kbetr_kond,
konwa TYPE konwa,

so where do you expect the range table "r_kschl" to appear? ... did you want a second table control on the screen?

Table with column group (one column) - next row is showing on new page instead of below previous row

I am creating new table. My goal is to display some text in few lines like this:
"AAAAAAAA" "BBBBBBBB" "CCCCCCCCC"
"DDDDDDD" "EEEEEEEE"
Actually the next row (with "DD" and "EE" values) is not displayed below first row, but on the next page.
I've tried to put table into rectangle, disabled all page breaks and still the same effect. Any help?

Actually, it's not solution, I only gave more details about my problem :)
Another description:
In my report I'm creating Tablix with Column grouping. There is only one column with image (every image has same width). If there is only three pictures, then they are displayed next to each other in one row.
In case, there is more than three pics, another row is showing on next page. I'd like to display all rows one after another on one page.
I've tried to create three vertical lists, and filter each column group to display only records:
1) =(RowNumber("Tablix1")) mod 3 = 1
2) =(RowNumber("Tablix1")) mod 3 = 2
3) =(RowNumber("Tablix1")) mod 3 = 0
Unfortunately, I got an error:
"A FilterExpression for the tablix ‘Tablix1’ uses the function RowNumber. RowNumber cannot be used in filters."
Do You have any other propositions?

ok, I manged to solve it. As I said, I've created three vertival lists and placed them next to each other.
Then, instead of using filter, I've used Visibility trigger:

I had to use function RunningValue to count all occurrences, as my report is quite complex and "RowNumber" [ssrs function] and "ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY [rowgroupfield])" [sql query] were not working properly.

How to Populate a Dropdown field for a table control with different keys

I have Table control with abt eight columns (fields). Out of these eight field one field is with dropdown list. In table control Project ID is Primary key column. Depending upon this Project ID value, i have different values which is to be populated in dropdown boxes. In table control if there is only one project ID value say 'P000715' i can populate it but when i have more than one project ID (P000715, p000716, P000717.....) in display in rows of table control i want to have different values in my dropdown field corresponding to that row of project id. Experts please tell me how to achieve this functionality.

The only way you may be able to do this is using
MODULE PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST. User-programmer F4 help
in your PAI routine.
In this routine you would build the list and get the returned value to update the field.
Something like this.

Table control - validate column

Dear VC Experts,
we are using VC with a RFC Data Service. On the output port we create a table control with following columns for example:
- Amount /MENGE (mandatory field)
- Checkbox type /BOOL1 (mandatory field) - true,false
- Expression Box / STATUS2 (validate amount and Checkbox) --> true, false
For the expression box we use the formula:
BOOL(@BOOL1==true AND @MENGE==0 OR @BOOL1==false AND @MENGE<>0)==true
This seems to work. Result: true, false
Further we have a button, which has to be disabled if the Expression Box has the status "false".
I dont know how to check all the values in the expression box. The button only gets disabled, if i select a specific row with the status 'false'. I would like to check all the valus in my table control, not only the selected one.
On the properties tab for my button i use the formula:
CONTAINS(#ID[ACC153]@STATUS2,'false')==true
Maybe any suggestions to check all the values in my table column? How can i check all the values in my column 'STATUS2' which contains true or false?

BDC: How to enter data in Table control (With wizard) using scrolling?

Using BDC, I am trying to enter the data in the table control (with wizard).
I want to know what is the specific command to scroll down in table control (With Wizard).
While recording I am getting these steps:

move the records number of your internal table into field LINES of tablecontrol. So you should change the code generated by wizard in PBO, for example create a new module:

Table control layout column positions are different with dislay positions

I added one column to standard table control at the 13th position,but at the display of that table control its showing at
96th position.please suggest me how to set that to 13th position at dislay.

Hi,
You can do this using a single table control.
There is a option in the screen parameters to hide the column of the table control.
So based on the list value, you loop at screen containing the table control, and set the option to make the column invisible.. Try this.

Table Control + last column

Hello Friends,
i am facing a strange problem. I have created a table control using table control wizard. when I enter the values in table control select the entry and press okey button everything works fine. then I gave the program to user for test, and he came back with following issue:
He entred the data in the table control, and then he press the enter button. then he went to the last column and change the value, press again enter button, the value overwrite again ( which he has entered before ).
I went in debug mode to see what is going on, and surpringly while entring the value in the last column I press enter the control did not went to my module "Z_TAB_CTRL_modify input." rather it went in user_command. module.... and that's why it did not updated the value after user change in last column....
Any idea what I can do to fix this issue...

The CHAIN statement can be specified in the event blocks at PAI and PBO , however, in the event block at PBO it has no effect.

The contents of all screen fields combined to a processing chain by the FIELD statements can be checked in the shared conditions ON CHAIN-INPUT and ON CHAIN-REQUEST of the MODULE statement.

Problem with column groups on Interactive Report

I am hoping that someone can help with this problem.
I am attempting to control both the grouping and ordering within each group of fields in the single row view of an interactive report. Creating column groups appears to be OK at first (sequence, name and description) but if I then attempt to edit the group, the sequence box appears to be empty even though it was filled with a unique number at the time of creating the group.
In addition, any changes to the order of the fields within the group made using the shuttle box at the bottom of the screen don't seem to be saved even to the Apply Changes button is pressed.
Anybody know what is happening here and can anyone suggest how to control both the order of the groups and ordering within each group?

How can I directly update a SAP screen table control with values?

I have a need to update a table control on a standard SAP screen with values. Here's the scenario: The user will come into a standard SAP transaction (IQS2-change notification) and click on an action button which calls a function module. That function module will determine what needs to be added to the SAP screen table control (add additional task rows). When the function module returns with the row data to be added to table control, I would like to set those values as if the user input directly. The table control is located on it's separate tab (TASKS) in the transaction. I cannot find any user exists or BADI's for this transaction to allow me to affect the TASKS tab table control for this GUI. I'm trying to prevent from having to make a custom modification. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Creation of a Table control with the wizard

Hi all,
I'd like to add a table control to my dynpro with the wizard.
I want to use an internal table and a work area from my program but I get the following error :
"The table work area WA_FID does not exist or is not a structure".
here is my data definition:
types: begin of fid_line,
dokar type draw-dokar,
doknr type draw-doknr,
doktl type draw-doktl,
dokvr type draw-dokvr,
dktxt type drat-dktxt,
dokst type draw-dokst,
end of fid_line.
data : it_fid type table of fid_line,
wa_fid type fid_line.
I also tried using field symbol as work area.
I thought it was possible to create a table control from a user internal table.
Did someone see the problem ?

Hi,
Check the below link.
In this, I am not using wizard,but manually creating table control and I am not using user defined types.I don't think it is possible to use user-defined internal table in wizard.
