During SAP outages,XI unable to send the IDoc to SAP System.

Hi
We have an interface in XI which posts IDoc to SAP .
In the inbound side XI polls the database and executes a query.
But during SAP outages ( Planned/unplanned) though XI executes SQL and process the messages successfully the message fails in the outbound side as SAP is not available.( Column 'c' will be marked with red flag)
Is there any way we can queue up the messages till SAP is available and post the IDocs.
Presently we have to either resend the message from the source system or using
Run time workbench and payload post the IDoc manually.
I guess there could be some settings in the J2EE stack if done can help with.
My environment is XI 3.0 SP14.
Please suggest a feasible solutions.

Hi,
if the quality of service is EO then your idoc is stuck in sm58 and you can force the idoc to be delivered once SAP will come back available.
You can schedule the report RSARFCEX that does exactly this task.
Normally this job is scheduled to run every 5 minutes.
This should solve your problem.

Unable to send an idoc from SAP R/3 to XI

Hi,
We are trying to send Z_CREMAS_SUSMM.CREMAS03 idoc from R/3 system to XI using IDOC adapter.
We have done the following steps.
On SAP R/3 system:
1.created a RFc Destination which points to the XI system using transaction SM59
2.created a port in which we have selected this RFC Destination using tansaction WE21
3.logical system for R/3 with transacion BD54
4.In WE20 transaction,we have configured the PartnerProfile by adding the IDOC message type to the outbound Parameters of XI Logical system.
On XI Sytem:
1.Created RFC destination
2.Created a Port
3.Loaded metadata
While trying to Post IDOc from SAP R/3,it is throwing an error"External segment name E2LFA1M001 cannot be interpreted"
and "Basic type CREMAS03 does not exist" on XI side.
Can anyone please provide a solution to this?

Have you loaded the metadata into the XI system by using IDX2?
If it is done then try to delete once and do once again.
And also delete the IDoc from IR and reimport the IDoc and activate it once again.

Unable to send the data entered in sap portal

i am trying to configure and test Leave Request from portal. When, we create the leave request and submit for the first time, it is giving the error/message Unable to send the data entered However, if do a submit for the second time, the same leave request, it sends the leave request.

Hi Rafi,
We are also facing similar kind of issue.
When i select type of leave as annual it is giving an error message as
" Parameter missing in call of method BUILD_ACTOR_SELECT_CLAUSE in class CA_PT_REQ_ACTOR "
But when i select some other leave type and click review it is working fine, again if i click on previous step and change the leave type to annual it is working fine without giving any error message.

NO - I dont have any hotmail/gmail account setup on my phone. Its a new work phone and I only have work email account setup on the phone. I was just trying to send a test email to my hotmail and gmail account but failed to receive those using my work email account on iphone 5.
I have tried receiving email on my work account on iphone, sent from my hotmail account (using web) and received it.
Incoming is all fine and I am able to receive emails from all sources but outgoing is only sucessful if I send it to anyone using my company's email account.

I'm attempting to connect to Essbase from Visual Studio 2005 with the use of the DataServer component.
I'm using a URL;
http://<myserver>:13080/aps/APS
This URL seems to be valid if I plug it into a browser in that it returns a page listing the following information;

However.... when I try to connect using the DataServer I'm shown the same error message as beofre except for the change of URL. Can you remember if there were any other settings that needed to be made?
I've also noticed the line above ' EDSUrl=http://localhost:11080/eds/EssbaseEnterprise (optional) ', this says 'the page cannot be displayed' if i try to access it from the habnet machine but I'm really not sure if this is relevant or not.

Is it happening with all contacts or just one? It could be that you have an incorrect number or the number you're sending it to might not be able to receive incoming SMS

Xi sending the IDOC to R/3: Error

did you import correct IDOC type in the Integration Repository?
do u have external definition created for mapping ? Check those all are correct?
Re-import the IDOC into the IntegratioN Repository and activate again..
Also make sure that you are using IDOC itself as an Message Interface during Interface Mapping. No need of creating new Message Interface for the IDOC.
I think you have done mistake in creating the Message Interface for the IDOC. It is not required Use the same IDOC itself

Limit send of IDoc from SAP-ERP to SAP-XI or a Non-SAP

Hi guys,
I send the following IDocs from SAP-ERP over SAP-XI to Non-SAP for an initialload: Artmas, Bommat, Infrec, Cond_a, Mmaddi, Cremas
Example: Artmas with TA: BD10.
Problem: SAP-ERP send all 25'000 IDoc to SAP-XI. The effect is that the qRFC and tRFC in SAP-XI is full, because the Non-SAP is not fast enough to takeover the Idocs. From then other systems can't send out or get in Idocs.
I tried to limit in WE20, but it didnt work. TA: RSEOUT00 ist not so useful, because of the quantity of the IDocs.
Is in SAP-ERP a possibility to limit the sending of IDocs to SAP-XI or Non-SAP?
Example: Automatic sending of 200 Idocs every 2 Minute.

Adding some code before sending the IDOCs

Hi all,
I have one query. When I am doing some transaction system is generating the IDOC with status 03. Now My requirement is to send this IDOCs to the destination system after checking some conditions. So I want to insert to some code in the ALE configuration, so that it can filter the IDOCs based on my bussiness requirement. This is not simply checking one field, i have to write some logic after that only system should send the IDOC, Can you please tell me how to include the code?

1. Using Filters(Tcode BD64) & Convertion rules(Tcode BD55, BD62 & BD79).

Unable to find the IDOC number in WE02

I have executed an outbound program from SM37 and i can see that job got finished in the log.
but when i check the spool, it doesnt contain any list and also i am unable to find the Idoc number in WE02.

Go to Sales order screen, In the main screen below the command line, one button will be there " Services for object" Click that...... It will open one tool bar.... on that tool bar one icon will be there with thee arrow ..... Click on that,,,,, and here you can see the idoc number....

Send/receive IDOCs to SOLMAN system using AS2 protocol!

Hi All,
I want to send/receive IDOC file to/from web based SOLMAN system. Currently I'm using FTP server to send/receive IDOC file.
As of now the current process is to send the IDOCs from ECC to FTP server and from FTP to third party and vice-versa. But due to some constraints, I'm bound to use web based SOLMAN system. Please, can you let me know how to send/receive IDOC files to SOLMAN. Is there standrad FM/method to connect to SOLMAN from ECC as in case of FTP we have FM 'FTP_CONNECT'. Heard that same functionality in case of SOLMAN can be achieved through AS2 protocol.
