DWfile.copy not working

I have an extension that I am building and I need to copy a
file automatically from the config folder to the users local site
when they apply the extension:
I've tried this:

And I tried this:

and both do not work. No errors or anything. And the folders
do exist. Does anyone know how to do this with Dreamweaver MX 2004?
Because I understand there is a new way in CS3, which I do not have
yet.

When you use DWfile.copy() you have to specify the file name
in the "Copy To" path so try this:

Dreamweaver CS6 command copy not working (UPDATED)

Anyone having this issue? Is it a new bug in Dreamweaver?
Running Dreamweaver on current OSX. The keyboard command to copy (command c) is not working. Keyboard paste works fine (command v). Using command c will paste in the last item from the clipboard. So if you had just used command c in say Fireworks, in Dreamweaver it would attempt to paste in that item as that was the last thing in the pasteboard copied. In Dreamweaver the copy function works fine from the edit menu (edit > copy).
UPDATE: I have found that this issue is only when the Split view is active (Design and Code view both displayed). When you switch to the code view only, the keyboard copy (command c) function works just fine.

Network transfer/copy not working 10.8.5

I have 2 macpro computers connected via ethernet cable. I have screen sharing and file sharing enabled in SysPrefs. Both computers can see each other, I can share screens, I can drag and drop files - however this is where the problem is. Files do not complete the copy process between the computers. A file will get about halfway through the copy process and then the copy will fail. This happens in either direction on both machines. The whole point of this networking setup is to share files and this is the one thing not working properly.
Can anyone suggest what might solve this?
System:
OS X Mt Lion 10.8.5

Please describle your network setup. Are you connecting the 2 computers via patch cable directly, going through a router or switch, or connecting wirelessly? Also, are both computers running OSX, or are you sharing between OSX and Windows?

Adobe Illustrator CS5 (ALT DRAG COPY) not working. Why and how do I fix it?

I click on the object I want to duplicate, then I click ALT (double duplicate arrows appear) and then select the object (double duplicate arrows disappear), then I drag and nothing duplicates or copies...all it does it move the object I was trying to copy. How do I fix this?

You may be lucky to have one of the easy ones at the top work.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Click and copy not working in 5.1.4

10.7.3, Macbook Pro, 8 gigs ram.
After updating last night I now find that on most sites I am unable to click and copy text. Not all sites, it works on Wiki but for example on this page I am unable to copy "Communities" from the top of the page. Nor can I click and copy from this post as I compose. Does anyone have a solution? Is this just me or are others experiencing it as well?

Restarted Safari and it now appears to be working correctly. Fingers crossed.
I have been running Activity Monitor in the background and it appears the memory issues have been solved. Safari Web Content is not using a progressivley increasing amount of memory.

Thor digital copy not working?

Hi I bought the movie Thor today. I loaded the digital copy disk into my PC and redeemed the code as I have done many time before. The only thing is this time the movie downloaded ok and when I click on the movie tab i see it there but it will not play.at all. I went to the folder where my movies are "C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Administrator\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Movies" and the movie Thor is not there. So now I shut down my PC and restarted everything over and get the same result. And yes it does let me reuse the same redeem code over and over??? any help would be great as I have not found any way to contact Apple directly or via e-mail for this.

Copy not working

Hi everyone,
I had a cup of milk spill on my macbook pro (early 2008 model) yesterday. I took the battery out and disconnected the power as fast as I could.
I took the laptop apart completely and started cleaned up the huge mess. To do this I had to disconnect a couple of cables, in particular the keyboard / touchpad connections to the motherboard.
Luckily, after I had finished cleaning everything up, it actually booted, and everything seems to be working fine!
Except one thing.
Well, two things really. The left hand side of the keyboard doesn't light up properly (I think this may be due to the way I put it back together).
The other thing is that the copy command doesn't work at all.
Cut works, Paste works, Select All works.. but copy doesn't!
At one point in the repair process, the entire keyboard wasn't working, so I can't complain that much!
I did connect a USB keyboard during the time the macbook pro's keyboard wasn't functioning, and it asked me to press the key right of the left side shift key, and left of the right side shift key.
I'm guessing something's become mangled in the process and the key assignments are screwed up. I haven't tried rebuilding the permissions or anything yet.
If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them! thank you.

Thanks for the tips Sonicray. I will have to try taking the keys off as you have suggested. It sounds likely that one of the white lights may been covered over with residue.
I had actually used some compressed air when I had the keyboard taken to pieces previously. I separated each layer of the keyboard (I believe there were three, including the white reflective sheet). I think it got some dust / hair out using the air, but the milk was quite thick / sticky and I had to, as you suggested, use alcohol (isopropyl, 99.7% purity) to clean up the rest. I washed all three layers in my bathroom sink too, while taking care not to get the multi-touch trackpad connection wet.
What's bugging me is that the key C and the command key seem to be working fine independently. It's just when I use them together that I run into problems.
Oddly enough, I changed my input settings to Chinese earlier today and for a very brief period of time, I was able to copy and paste using command + c. As soon as I changed back to english, I lost copy. I have tried unsuccessfully to reproduce what happened.
What I might do is create a new user on my system and see if i get 'copy' back. If I do, I guess something's become corrupt somewhere a long the line.

Assign NC to Component - Copy not working

Hi,
We have a business scenario that we want to copy the NC code logged on the final product SFC to the component SFC. But we haven't had it work even we change the Assign NC to Component dropdownlist from Stay to Copy. Here are the steps we did:
1. Finish the assembly for the final product SFC, with several components;
2. The final product SFC goes to test POD and log the NC code, failure category. This NC code has the configuration Assign NC to Component - Copy option.
3. In the repair POD, we do the disassembly to the component, and the component SFC goes to another NC routing.
4. Check the component SFC log report, but there is no NC code logged on it.
Please help me understand whether some special configurations we need enable to have this functionality work. (I also tried to add the Component_SFC field assigned to a NC data type that is assigned to this NC code)

I checked the NC_Data table, and I only can find the NC entries which are for the final product SFC, no component SFC.
For my opinion, this Copy action does not trigger when I am logging the NC code to the final product SFC. Can you please let me know when this is triggered? When I click the Add button or Done button or does the disassembly?

ObjectUtil.copy not working for XMLList

I have an XMLList that I need to make a copy of before I send to the back-end, because if there are any XML errors, I don't want the wrong data on my working XML object. I am trying to use var xmlList:XMLLIst = objectUtil.copy(myXMLList) as XMLList; but it is returning null.
Anyone know how to make a hard copy of an XMLList?

Make sure to call call registerClassAlias() on your XMLList before using ObjectUtil.copy(), or it won't work.
Also, XMLList.copy() does not return a "deep" copy.

Control zone (pinch to zoom, copying) not working since WIN10 update...

After my update to Windows 10, my control zone is not functioning in the way it was before. The copying of text on browsers, zooms in the page and I can't pinch to zoom like I could before....Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I use my envy for work and school ;c ThanksJen

Back to the Future III - digital copy not working

Any ideas on what to do when a digital copy fails?
Got the 25th Anniversary BluRay pack of all of the Back to the Future films. Contains a digital copy disc for each.
The first two worked fine. The digital copy for BTTF3 did not.
Has anyone else encountered this? If so, how did you remedy it?

apple wanted a processor family that included versions with reasonable speed and low power consumption to use in laptops etc.
it probably didn't hurt that the choice they made also makes it easier to support traditional wintel software on macs
itanium is aimed at servers where power consumption is less of an issue
if the numbers here are correct then itanium has not been a great success, certainly not one for apple to bet the company on...

CS3 New smart object via copy not working

1. I open an image in Photoshop CS3 from camera raw (CR) as a smart object.
2. I right click on the layer and choose "new smart object via copy."
3. I double click on the thumb nail to open the image in CR.
4. I make new edits on the image in CR.
5. I click OK.
6. In CS3 both the new layer and the original layer show the edits done in # 4.
I uninstalled and reinstalled CS# to no avail.
I am running CS3 on a Win Vista 64 bit.
If anyone can make a suggestion, I thank you in advance.

I should say I am trying to learn this software and stumbling through Mr. Kelby's 7 Point System book.
I found my error. I was highllighting the layers not clicking the eye icons off and on.

"Save as Copy" not working

I am using PSE 8 on Mac OS 10.6. When I select Save as a Copy it does not add the word 'copy' to the file name and just overwrites the exisiting file. I ca't see any perferences which could affect this - does anyone have any ideas as to the solution. Many thanks.

I assume you are running Elements from an administrator account with full permissions? It may be a bug but I’ve not seen any other Mac users reporting this problem.
