I can't find dynamic configuration tool, has it been removed?
Hi there,
The End of Life or "retirement" of DCT was September 2013;

How can I get the dynamic zoom tool to work in my PDF all the time?
I have designed an interactive PDF to open in full-screen view only. Of course, when it does so, none of Reader's tool bars are available to the end-user. But as the PDF is meant to be used on screen, I want the recipient to access the dynamic zoom tool. So I have introduced access to it from within the PDF itself.
This I have done using the Button tool to create a button that appears on each page of the PDF that, when clicked, turns the cursor into the dynamic tool. Another button I created alongside it brings back the cursor.
However, having done this, some recipients receiving the PDF have been able to access the dynamic zoom tool from within my lovingly crafted PDF but others have not (the dynamic zoom tool worked on a PC machine running XP/Home & Reader 7, but not on PCs running XP/Home & Reader 8 or 9).
And of course, the tool works fine when the user exits out of full-screen view & accesses the tool via the menu, or the toolbar.
But we don't want the menu or tool bars to be visible!!
So my question is, does anyone know why this specific function on the PDF I created is working for some and not for others? Do you know if there is something specific I need to apply within the Button tool's settings or the PDF's settings that once actioned will completely avoid this problem from reoccurring? Or is there a bug in the software that you are aware of that prevents me from creating a PDF that includes access to the dynamic zoom tool from within itself (not via the toolbar) and which works fine in different versions of Reader & across PC/Mac platforms & operating systems?
(I created the PDF using Acrobat Pro 9 on a Mac running Leopard, 10.5.9. And if anyone wants to know, you can create the interactive button as I did from the menu bar: go to Tools > Advanced editing > Button tool. Clicking Button tool brings up a cross-hair cursor. Click & drag to marquee the area you want to make interactive (in my case, over the icon I designed & introduced to each page of the PDF to represent the dynamic zoom tool).
This brings up a dialogue box where you can select the appearance of the button (eg visible or invisible), which trigger is needed to activate it (clicking, hovering, etc), & what action is generated once you've done so (like going to another page in the document, run a javascript, play a sound, or execute any of the menu items).
So all I did is told it which menu item to activate, by selecting 'execute menu item' in the drop-down menu, going to the menu to select it & clicking okay. Simples!)Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Link as".

How can I fix a dynamic zoom tool issue for users of Reader v8?
I am publishing a PDF to be posted on the internet for downloading by end-users. The PDF is designed to open in full screen view, that is, without tool or menu bars visible. This means it would be helpful for me to embed additional functionality onto each page of the PDF for users who do not know keyboard shortcuts.
In doing so, I have found that when adding the dynamic zoom tool function via Acrobat's Advance Editing > Forms > Button Tool, the dynamic zoom tool only works in some versions of Acrobat Reader and not others.
I suspect this is because the dynamic zoom tool is accessed from different locations in different versions of Reader. Therefore, the instruction that I embed in to the button tool that relies on a menu-tree command ('find the tool in this location via the menu') cannot therefore be executed.
Fortunately, it appears that there is a javascript name available for the dynamic zoom tool that I can use instead of a menu-tree command. But unfortunately, it appears that the script name is different for different versions of Adobe Reader...
Not to be outdone, we have managed to write a small piece of javascript that, when assigned to the PDF using the button tool, identifies which version of Reader the recipient is using and activates the correct script name.
So far so good.
However, it now appears that version 8 of Adobe Reader has a higher level of security built in, so that javascript is security restricted and isn't allowed to run.
This of course means that the button I've included in the PDF to bring up the dynamic zoom tool doesn't work at all for end-users using Adobe Reader v8.
Getting the users to adjust their security permissions in the preferences is problematic and less than ideal. I really want the PDF to work 'out of the box' so to speak, without the users having to perform somersaults to get every element of the PDF to function fully as designed.
And seeing as the end-users are part of a public organisation and will not necessarily have the authority to update their software from v8 to v9 themselves, I am a little stuck.
So what's my query? I've got more than one:
• Is there a more detailed script I can assign using the button tool to get the dynamic zoom tool to work as outlined above in v8?
• Can I raise the security level of the dynamic zoom tool from within the PDF (that is, so that the dynamic zoom tool activates automatically and without end-user intervention, e.g. without downloading bits of code to place in file directories)?
• If I were to assign a digital ID/certificate to the PDF, would this allow the javascript to run unhindered?If you are going to SET an IP, a Static IP, on the computer it has to be out of the DHCP pool range but in the overall IP range the router is using to hand out. So if the router DHCP range is 192.168.1.100 to .150 you have to assign a static IP to the computer either above the 150 or below the 100.
Right I've never had a problem with ha PC. But then I have never had a problem with my Mac either.
I suspect you have some type of hardware problem or a hardware and driver problem. -

Dynamic Configuration Tool Issues
Hi,
Has anyone run into issues with the cisco dynamic configuration tool? I recently noticed I cannot customize the hardware I am trying to configure. This was not like this in the past.Hi Laurence,
According to your description, you are creating a SQL Server Reporting Services report using SSAS cube as the data source, there are 40 parameters in the MDX query, so the performance is poor, right?
In your scenario, you said that 10 of the parameters using existing function, so you suspect that the issue can be caused by the existing function. Based on my research, it seems that the existing function is not a problem. Only issue is that use existing
function together with nonempty function, please refer to the link below to see the detail information about it.
http://cwebbbi.wordpress.com/2009/03/31/existing-and-nonempty/
In additional, I'd suggest you enable SQL profiler to monitor the queries fired by the query, once you find some queries took a very long time to run, consider creating the smaller cube partition or optimizing the query by adding index or partition
to improve the query performance. Here are some links about performance tuning.

Currently cisco dynamic configuration tool is not working. What can I do?
Richard,
The power supplies in the 6120 / 6140s are auto sensing for 120-240 VAC. Please see Table 9 in the Nexus 5000 document for all supported cables:

Weblogic Portal Samples-Dynamic Visitor tools sample
Hi,
For configuring the DVT samples at weblogic portal it is mentioned that 'The DVT Sample is not supported for a production environment'. We are not clear with this point.
Will it work only for testing environment?
Is it require to take any licence for this at production environment?
We have used the DVT for Streaming Desktop and it works only when we enable the Dynamic Visitor tools sample in bea workshop while Adding the DVT Facet.
Please clarify the same.
Regards
HimanshuHi Himanshu
It should work for Production Env also and as far as I know you DO NOT need any extra or separate license just to support this DVT samples. As the word itself mentions "DVT Samples", since its a kind of sample utility, BEA/Oracle officially do not support it. It can be used freely either in Dev/Test or Prod Env. Just incase if you run into any major issues, which really breaks DVT and if it do not work, then Support may say it is not supported. But still I guess they will not leave it in the air. So best thing is, do full regression testing in Dev/Test Env and then move to the Production Env. It should work for any Env as far as you install the Samples while installing WLP 10.x and Enable this facet when you create the Portal Domain.
Thanks

I need Web based Dynamic Reporting tools
Hi,
I need a Web based Dynamic Reporting tool.
I have to user oracle products and this reporting tools must support OLAP and Data Warehousing.
thanks,Hi Shima,
Let me quote from Oracle Reports website:
"Oracle Reports is Oracle's award-winning, high-fidelity enterprise reporting tool. It enables businesses to give immediate access to information to all levels within and outside of the organization in an unrivaled scalable and secure environment. Oracle Reports consists of Oracle Reports Developer (a component of the Oracle Developer Suite) and OracleAS Reports Services (a component of the Oracle Application Server)."
Since you need a web-based reporting tool, this is what is available with Oracle Reports:- you cannot design reports on the web, but you can use Oracle Reports Developer to design high quality reports that are suitable for viewing on the web.
Oracle Reports support OLAP as a data source.
From your requirements, it seems that it might be worthwhile for you to check out Oracle Discoverer which is again a powerful reporting and analysis tool. Oracle Discoverer is more suitable for ad-hoc reporting and web-based analysis of data by the end-users:

Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Dynamic Cache tool
I have a memory leak on my Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1(x64) server. I used RamMap to find where the memory was going and I found that it is going to a Mapped File.
I read an article, kb976618, about Dynamic Cache but it says that in order to get the tool for Server 2008 R2 SP1, you have to contact Microsoft Support and in order to do that, you have to give them a credit card or have a service contract.
I tried the link in the article anyway and got a download email from Microsoft that looked like it was for my operating system. I installed it per the instructions but it still says that it cannot start the service because it is for a previous version.
Can anyone help with this? I did notice that the download included a few different folders that all have the DynCach.exe file. Maybe I'm using the wrong one?Hi,
Please click
here to contact me for the dyncache file for 2008 r2. I will send you the file directly.

Generate target filename dynamically / Receiver File Adapter
Hi Community Members,
First of all I would like to say hello to everybody, as this is my first post in this forum.
I start with PI and would like to prepare a simple DEBMAS -> .csv interface.
In fact it is already done, but the requirement is to name .csv files according to customer number (KUNNR).
Hence is my question ... how to set CC to be assigning KUNNRs to file names? (like 123456.csv)
From what I can in the net people are using ASMA, but isn't there any simpler solution?
What I tried inside message mapping was to bound KUNNR field from my source message to root element of target message.
In addition I also set Field Name Scheme to *.csv in CC settings. Unfortunately I am receiving a CC error
The parameter "argument" has the value "/interfaces/PI/inbound/test/.csv", so it contains the character "/interfaces/PI/inbound/test/.csv" which is not allowed
But anyway if I would like to use ASMA I see I need to write a Java funciton as UDF.
Example tutorial [http://www.****************/Tips/XI/ASMA/Index.htm]
But what next? How would I implement it into message mapping, to which xml element should it be assigned and what should be passed as function input, to make java function work?
Regards,
bobhI bobens ,
you have to follw bellow steps because dynamicalluy we had call file name as same as your requirement.
STEP1: WRITE dynamic configuratio:
Public String DynamicConfig(String a, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
conf.put(key,a);
return "";
step2: in mapping
KUNNR + constant(.CSV) -> Concat -> udf(dynamic configuration) -> target root node
Configuration objects:
3. Receiver communication channel:
file name : ConfiguredDynamically
in Adavnce mode :
you have to enable these check boxes: use asma , fail if asma, filename.

How to use dynamic link in creative cloud?
I'm new with using the Creative Cloud and I'm wondering how I use the dynamic link tool between After Effects and Premiere Pro? When I right click on a piece of footage the dynamic link section is faded and won't let me click it. I also can't drag clips from premiere into after effects. Do I have to download something extra for dynamic link?
Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like sequence settings, footage used and so on.

How to make an opion to add and remove portlets dynamically from GUI?
Hi,
I have a requirment to provide option for the users to remove some section (basically portlets) from the page and add it later based on preferences .I think currenlty we have this option in iGoogle website. please give me some pointers towards the solution.?
Thanks JazzHello Jazz,
If the "preferences" you are referring to are the users' preferences (and not "portlet preferences"), I think the Dynamic Visitor Tools are what you want. There is a demonstration of the dynamic visitor tools at:

This should be as simple as setting the IndexValue of the radio list
to
the item that you want to have selected. For example:
self.<theRadioList>.IndexValue = 2;
to select the second item. Make sure your window is already open
when
you do this, though. ie, make sure self.Open() has already been
called. The Open() method initializes a lot of the widget
information
on the window, and it may well set the index value of the radio list
back to 1.
Hope this helps,
Dale

Dynamic AS2 subject from XI payload
Hi,
My interface has to send data to a third party system through the Seeburger AS2 adapter.
The AS2 subject has to be dynamic and depends on a particular node in the incoming message
I kknow I can use dynamic configuration for setting the subject but my mapping is 1 to N mapping and hence cant use dynamic configuration
Any suggestions on how the AS2 subject can be set dyanmically from the payload itself in stead of setting the dynamic configuratio parameters??
Thanks
BharathUse the AttribMapper which comes with your AS2 delivery (see the modules manual). If you add the AttribMapper to your communication channel (receiver) right before your AS2 adapter, you can set the subject dynamically by using
key: http://seeburger.com/xi/AS2/dtSubject
value: "MySubject"
-> for a fixed value
or take it from another dynamic attribute:
value: http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File/FileName
(as an example)
If you are using the SEEBURGER BIC module to map from XML<->EDI you may use this module to extract the desired value and add it to the XI Message as dynamic configuration property using the mapping output parameter.
