Dynamic field value in Sales order item table control

Hi
I need to find the VBAP-VKAUS (Usage indicator) field value in run time of the creation of sale order ...these values stored in the table TVLV.
when i debug the program SAPMV45A in the screen 4900 this VBAP-VKAUS value gets empty in structure VBAP even though i can see other values like MATNR etc...
this field is configurable (dynamic) field and not appear for all the ordertypes.
i need to pass this VBAP-VKAUS value to KOMPD-VKAUS
Thru user-exit..so please let me know if somebody knows how to find this VBAP-VKAUS value.

Hi!
It's quite easy even in the standard SAP to add a line item for a customer order, I don't think it worth to develop a new button for this.
However if you wanted to add a line automatically, the you can do the following in the program MV45AFZZ, FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.
You can use similar code, but with some modifications.
DATA: lv_posnr.
LOOP AT xvbap.
MOVE xvbap-posnr TO lv_posnr.   "get the last posnr
ENDLOOP.
ADD 10 TO lv_posnr.
MOVE 'XYZ' TO xvbap-matnr.   "enter your material number here
MOVE lv_posnr TO xvbap-posnr.
* fill additinal field data in XVBAP if necessary
MOVE 'I' TO xvbap-updkz.                  "Insert line
APPEND xvbap.

Net Value in sales order item

Hi All,
Any one know how the system set net value in sales order item? (VBAP-NETWR)
I mean, what kind of condition type will be considered in net value calculation.

In Sales Order net value (NETWR) is always value before tax, it means the condition type determined before tax condition will be considered in sales order Net Value.
In other words if conditon type have a category defined as D-Tax and Cond. class as D- Taxes, the value of this condition type will not be considered in Net value.

Net Value in Sales order item and header URGENT

Hi experts
In some sales orders the net value is not shown but it is available in PR00 condition.
Where should i check pricing proceedure or copy control,
In the same sales order type i.e ZRP other sales orders are having net value,
this sales order is created with reference to sales order type RE.
Pls guide where to check and what correction needs to be done.

Pricing procedure in tcode V/08, check the field 'SubTo'.
Copy control in tcodes VTFA (between SO and invoices).Check the field 'pricing type' for conditions.

Default Batch value in sale Order items

Hello SD Experts,
Please, is there a way to recover a default value for the batch of all posts in a Sale Order (SO).
In fact I want to have a default value Z001 in the batch field of all post's of SO type ZS01.
is that possible? if so how the customiz it?

You could consider creating a batch strategy (T-code VCH1) and use it to control the batch determination in sales order.

What does the InvntSttus field in the Sales Order Rows table mean?

Hello,
I have a Sales Order with 8 lines in it. I was trying to bring the last line up in the Pick and Pack Manager to create a Pick List for it so we could ship it. For some reason though, it didn't show up (even though it is open in the SO and my criteria in the Pick and Pack Manager is set to show everything). I checked around and about the only thing I could find that was weird about it (this was done by comparing the line that wouldn't show up with one that had shipped from the same Sales Order) was that the line that wouldn't show up has a "C" in the Warehouse Status (InvntSttus) field. I noticed that all of the lines on that Sales Order that had already shipped had a "C" in this field as well.
We have since fixed the problem by deleting that row and creating a new one that looks exactly like it. I still want to try and figure out what happened here so that we can avoid it in the future. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone knows what this field does and how it is governed, and also why this may have happened to this row.

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to your post. Anyways, I just really want to know why that row has an inventory status of closed (InvntSttus='c') when the whole row is still open (lineStatus='o') . What could possibly cause the Inventory Status of the item on that line to get set to closed? I don't know of anything specifically that we would be doing that would set that to closed with the whole line still open (mainly because I don't even know what this field is for).
Please let me know if you have any more light to shed on this. It just perplexes me.

Work area field value not getting populated in table control grid.

I am currently facing an issue where I have declared a variable and have fetched the workarea field name in it. To be exact, the variable contains the workarea name whose value I am finally populating to the table control. Now although the workarea name when manually copied and pasted in field name in debugging mode exhibits the value of the it, Im unable to fetch the same value in the variable as I have only the work area name in it. I need the value of the workarea-field to be in the variable.Please provide your valuable suggestions for this issue...

DATA: l_var(30) TYPE C.
CONCATENATE 'wa' '-' I_FIELD2-NAME INTO l_var.
The i_field2-name contains the name of a custom table field CP_CUSTOM_GRP. So now the l_var contains wa_cp_custom_grp.
Now consider the wa_cp_custom_grp has a value 'BA'.
Now my issue is the l_var contains wa_cp_custom_grp but not its value(too obvious)... Would like to know whether is there a way through which the value of this wa_cp_custom_grp 'BA' could be populated to the variable l_var...

Sale Order Item : Custom Field : Table Control

I have added two fields to sale order item table control in program SAPMV45A screen no . 4900. Now the field which i have added are working fine while creating sale order but while changing those fields are not changing.
condition is like this: the custom field are automatically filled by some logic and if the user want to change those field he will able to do. Now 1st condition is fine and when i change those field they will show the previous saved value inspite of changed value.
I have also added those field in additional data b tab in screen 8459 , there they are working fine but here the problem remains the same.

u can use BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to update the values of those fields. for that u need to extend few tables and coding that u can get from the BAPI documentation. If not getting reply back. i can help u..

Compare sales order items (specific fields)

I need to compare some fields from vbap and vbkd and to add values from sales order items, before I print then on screen.
I need to compare if vbkd-ihrez_e and vbkd-bstkd and vbap-matnr are the same for two records from sales order (10 and 20), If they are the same then add vbkd-ihrez values (for items 10 and 20), also add vbap-kwmeng, and write that sum on screen.
Compare item with previous one. if doing for 20 compare with 10, for item 30 compare with 20 etc.
I start like this.

Use the Function Module 'VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION' to get all the characterstics & their values for a sales order line item.
You just need to supply the configuration field(VBAP-CUOBJ) to the FM.

Profit center is missing in the Sales Order Items

I would like to ask why a profit center field in the sales order item data is blank but in the material master, the profit center is maintained. Why was it not populated during order entry?

Please check if you have maintained Profit Center at correct place in Material Master. It is maintained at Mat master: Sales: gen/plant view (MARC-PRCTR)
If it is maintained here, it should get populated at Sales Order Item -> Account Assginment tab. This is Standard SAP behavior.

You can check out two table in respect to Sales TEXT i.e. STXH (STXD SAPscript text file header) and STXL(SAPscript text file lines).
The best approach of tracing out the Text in respect to Sales Order would be to use the Function module READ_TEXT and put this FM in SE37 and execute with the following parameter.

Language of text to be read
Name of text to be read
Object of text to be read
Archive handle
Text catalog local
When you are essentially looking to read item level Text with respect to Sales Order then your Text OBject would be VBBP.

Sales Order Item Shipping point (VBAP-VSTEL) value in APO table

Hi,
I am looking for Sales Order Item Shipping point (VBAP-VSTEL) value in APO.Can I get this info in APO ?
This information is not available in table /SAPAPO/SDORD or /SAPAPO/SDFIELD.
Basically table /SAPAPO/SDORD is completely blank. Table /SAPAPO/SDFIELD has entry for Sales Order Item but not for VSTEL. Shipping point is there in the Catalog table in ECC and I can see that it is getting imported to APO but why it is not avaibale in SDFIELD table.Any idea ?
I cheked table /SAPAPO/SHIPPING also for the guid (Item guid) but not found any entry .

Most data in SCM is not stored in tables, it is stored in LC. In general, it is not the best idea to use APO for creating custom reports against transactional data. You do such reporting in the OLTP, and you use the standard SAP programs to keep these systems in synch.
Some SD auxiliary data is sometimes stored in /SAPAPO/SD_DOC.and /SAPAPO/SDFIELD. Check here, you might find something useful. No guarantees......

This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)
USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP
