Dynamic proxy nodes within Webflow???

Hi all,
we are trying to implement a dynamic set of webflows, i.e. we wan't to have reusable
sub webflows being used in several parent webflows. In order to this we need to
have a dynamic component at the end of a sub webflow in order to move back to
the appropriate node in the parent webflow. We do not wan't to explicitly configure
every path to every parent webflow in the sub flow. In the ideal world, the sub
webflow would be a black box that we could include in a parent webflow, however
the world is not ideal and we are therefore investigating our possibilities. Does
anyone have a great solution for this?
What we are thinking of is storing the namespace and the target node of the parent
webflow in session before entering a sub flow, the sub flow would then (when finished)
get the parent namespace and node and proxy back. However proxy nodes are not
dynamic so ???
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated,
thanks,
Mikkel

As far as i know, you wouldn't even be able to do this by generating the byte-code to override
the methods by hand. I think the verifyer checks for the overriding of final methods - so even if
you generated such a class, it would fail class loading.I can't remember what the licence says, but it may be possible to use a modified version of java.lang.Object in which they're not final provided you only use it internally and don't distribute it.

    Ok, I think I found a bug... It seems for adobe forms in WD4A, the root context node must be 1-1 and you must nest the 1-n node within that... Not sure why, but it worked. So in my case my context would look like this:
    FOO_NODE (1-1)
         Widget (1-N)
              -Widget_info (1-1)
                   *Name
                   *Sku
                   *Description
              -Widget_plant (1-M)
                   *Plant_Code
                   *Plant_State
                   *Plant_City
              -Widget_pic (1-1)

  • Detection of proxy node outage

    Question regarding detection of proxy node outage in extend client.
    My impression is that once connection established, you won't notice that proxy node was gone until next time you try to access cluster (get, put, etc. etc.).
    Or there is anything like MemberListener thing that client will be notified when proxynode is gone?
    This cause us some issue since we will add a map listener within extend client, but we won't receive any notification if the proxy node is gone.
    To address this issue, we are implement a heartbeat approach which client will have a background thread perform periodically cache get to ensure that the connection still valid.
    Above approach worked fine for single proxy node approach, since if the heartbeat check failed, we know something wrong.
    However, the heartbeat approach create new issue when there are multiple proxy nodes configured in client's remote cache scheme.
    This is what we observed.
    An extend client configured with a remote cache scheme has proxyA and proxyB as proxy list.
    1. Extend client start with connection to proxyA.
    2. Extend client subscribe to key ABC for cacheX
    3. Kill proxyA process.
    4. The background heartbeat check thread perform a heartbeat get to cacheX. Looks like during this cacheX.get() operation, Coherence will establish a new connection to proxyB automatically. Our application doesn't even notice there is a proxy node switch.
    Now the issue is if an update to key ABC occurred between step 3 and 4. Our application won't receive any notification at all. And we don't even notice there is a new connection created to a different proxynode at all.
    Our business requirement require us not to miss any entry update notification in extend client (unless if all proxy nodes are down) as long as there is at least one proxy node available.
    Is there any better approach for this requirement?

    J.K.
    Turn out that member listener approach still have chance to lost update notification.
    We found out that the update occurred between MemberLeft event notification and re-add map listener will be lost.
    That window is small, however, our business requirement require that no lost of update event at all as long as the update operation succeeded (the update could be performed by another extend client connect to different proxy node).
    Is it even possible to ensure that requirement using extend client?

    Chen

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi ,
    For resolving your issue , you can do as the followings:
    1. Logged into the Web Server with the Timer Service Account.
    2. Ran the powershell command to check the SID of the account running the spucworkerprocessproxy.exe:
    $(Get-SPManagedAccount -Identity "THE SERVICE ACCOUNT").Sid.Value
    3. Checked the registry :
    HKEY_USERS\[SID OF THE SERVICE ACCOUNT]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing\State
    4. Changed the value 0x00023c00 to 0x00023e00

    If you are using document/literal, which this WSDL is, you would be much better off using Metro (JAX-WS) as it has a much better dynamic interface in the Dispatch APIs. Metro: http://metro.dev.java.net, JAX-WS: http://jax-ws.dev.java.net.

  • Jax-ws: dynamic proxy-suppress weblogic's default ws-policy handling

    hi all,
    i am writing my own jax-ws client (dynamic proxy) to call a web service, secured by usernametoken profile.
    the wsdl of the web service do include the ws-policy information.
    sample client side code:
    URL url = new URL("path_to_wsdl_file");
    QName serviceQname = new QName("http://model/", "CalculationService");
    Service service = Service.create(url, serviceQname);
    //add resolver and jax-ws handler to add username token SOAPElement fragment to the SOAP message.
    the above code runs fine in J2SE 6.0 environment (without any weblogic-specific library).
    but when i run the above code in a servlet (running in weblogic), the above code fails with the following error:
    Exception in thread "main" javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Unable to add security token for identity, token uri =http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#UsernameToken

    at $Proxy23.add(Unknown Source)
    at client.ServiceLocator.main(ServiceLocator.java:32)
    it seems that the weblogic server will try to handle the ws-policy element (according to those in the wsdl), even though
    i have already added the username-token security header by my own code.
    As i don't add some weblogic-specific code (e.g. weblogic.wsee.security.unt.ClientUNTCredentialProvider), the web service call fails.
    is it possible to disable/suppress such behavior (weblogic runtime handle the ws-policy element) per web service call???
    (i don't want a server scope solution, as there may be other web service client running on the same weblogic server that rely on such behavior).
    i don't want to use weblogic's API (e.g. ClientUNTCredentialProvider) as i want my web service client be portable (username token is easy to be handled by my own code)
    thank you.

    Hi René ,
    i just use plain HTTP, not HTTPS.
    seems don't involve any certificate, am i right?
    in J2SE environment, i can run the webservice client without problem.
    but once i run the client in weblogic, the problem mentioned occurred.
    if i manually delete the ws-policy related tag in the wsdl file (i download it to local filesystem for testing), the client can run in weblogic too.
    so, think there is some setting in weblogic that try to handle the ws-policy by its so-called 'credential provider'(e.g. ClientUNTCredentialProvider ?)
    thank you.

  • How get context value form a dynamic created node

    Hi all,
    I have build my own dynamic view. In this view I use also a dynamic created Node. When I have more rows in my Node I see every row with context of the last row of the dynamic Node.
    this is the source I use.
    for (int x = 0; x < dynTabNode.size(); x++)
      dynTabNode.setLeadSelection(x);
      IWDGroup group = (IWDGroup)view.getElement("Group_name");
      IWDAttributeInfo aiName = wdContext.getChildNode("DayNode", IWDNode.LEAD_SELECTION).getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Name");
      IWDCaption name = (IWDCaption) view.createElement(IWDCaption.class, null);
      name.bindText(aiName);
      group.addChild(name);
      for (int i = 8; i < 18; i++)
        int teller = i * 100;
        IWDGroup group1 = (IWDGroup)view.getElement("hour" + teller);
        for (int z = 0; z < 12; z++)
          IWDImage image = (IWDImage) view.createElement(IWDImage.class, "Image" + teller + "_" + x);
          image.setWidth("10");
          image.setHeight("24px");
          image.setBorder(0);
          IWDAttributeInfo att = dynTabNode.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("hour" + teller);
          image.bindSource(att);
          group1.addChild(image);
          teller = teller + 5;
    How can I read my Node row for row?
    Richard
    Edited by: Armin Reichert on Jul 28, 2008 5:03 PM

    The reason is that all these Caption UI elements are bound against the same context attribute. At runtime this will be resolved to the attribute value of the lead-selected node element. In this example you can fix this by not binding the "text" property but setting it to the attribute value of the iterated node element:
    for (int x = 0; x < dynTabNode.size(); x++)
      dynTabNode.setLeadSelection(x);
      IWDGroup group = (IWDGroup)view.getElement("Group_name");
      IWDCaption name = (IWDCaption) view.createElement(IWDCaption.class, null);
      IWDNode dayNode = wdContext.getChildNode("DayNode", IWDNode.LEAD_SELECTION);
      String text = (String) dayNode.getElementAt(x).getAttributeValue("Name");
      name.setText(text);
      IWDAttributeInfo aiName = dayNode.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Name");
      name.bindText(aiName);
      group.addChild(name);
    (I assume here that the node "DayNode" has the same size as dynTabNode. No idea if this assumption is correct)
    But this would not help for editable elements where you need to bind the edited property.

  • Dynamic proxy, several instances, same name, diff ids?

    I'm using a dynamic proxy with a simple invocation handler. Using the proxy for several instances of the target object should yield multiple instances of the proxy. In the debugger, each proxy instance is named $proxy0 with different ids. Can someone please elaborate on this? Specifically, the Proxy instance is created using the target object. Thus, how can each proxy instance have the same name, when different target objects (of the same type though) are used to construct the Proxy object? Is the Proxy instance the same regardless of the target object?
    I : interface
    T: target class
    pseudo thing:
    <code>
    T t1, t2, t3 ... new ...
    I i1 = (I) Proxy.newInst...(..., ..., t1)
    I i2 = (I) Proxy.newInst...(..., ..., t2)
    I i3 = (I) Proxy.newInst...(..., ..., t3)
    Each i has name $proxy0 with different id. For instance: i1-> $proxy0 id=68, i2 ->$proxy0 id= 32, etc.
    </code>
    Insight is appreciated!

    is it the same proxy that is instantiated three times (obviously)?It is the same proxy class that is instantiated three times. Obviously. Because that is the only meaning for 'instantiate' in Java.
    But how can that be when the target object for each Proxy instance is different?Because they are three different instances of the same class, each with a different target object.
    What's the problem here?

  • To access a dynamic context node defined in a Used Component

    Hi Gurus,
    I need your help with something.
    I have a dynamic context node in ComponentA. I want it in Component B too.
    Component B uses Component A, but I am not able to get access to the context node.
    Is it possible to do this? Any suggestions how to proceed.
    PS: I am trying to do a dynamic mapping. The initial scenario was here, Set data into Model Node on Navigating from a View

    IWDNodeInfo compNode = wdThis.wdGet<i>Comp</i>Interface().wdGetAPI().getContext().getRootNodeInfo().getChild(nodeNm);
    viewNodeInfo.setMapping(compNode,true);
    and was trying to map it using
    iewNodeInfo.addMappedAttribute("order",".<i>Comp</i>."+ nodeNm + ".order");
    Now, I am mapping like this.
    viewNodeInfo.addMappedAttribute("order","order");
    Thanks,
    Anjana R.

  • Any example of dynamic proxy with RMI?

    Hi, are there any good example of dynamic proxy with RMI, using the new RemoteObjectInvocationHandler class?
    I am currently implementing a Registry, and want to use dynamic proxy to wrap around the registry stub, to pass extra information to the client.
    I've tried it, but the program will hang and get this exception:
    Exception in thread "RMI TCP Connection(1616)-192.168.1.23" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    My implementation looks like this:
    public RegistryImpl extends RemoteServer Implements Registry {
        public RegistryImpl(int port, Properties... properties) throws RemoteException, ChannelException {
             // Create a reference for the registry.
         LiveRef liveref = new LiveRef(id, port);
            ref = new UnicastServerRef(liveref);
             Registry proxy = (Registry)RegistryProxy.newProxyInstance(
                  this.getClass().getClassLoader(),
                  this.getClass().getInterfaces(),
                  new RemoteObjectInvocationHandler(this.getRef()));
             /* Using dynamic proxy */
             usref.exportObject(proxy, null, true);
    public class RegistryProxy extends Proxy implements Registry {
         private InvocationHandler handler;
         public RegistryProxy(InvocationHandler handler) {
              super(handler);
              this.handler = handler;
         public Remote lookup(String name) throws RemoteException, NotBoundException, AccessException {
              Remote result;
              try {
                   Method m = Registry.class.getMethod("lookup", new Class[]{String.class});
                   result = (Remote)handler.invoke(this, m, new Object[]{name});
              } catch (SecurityException e) {
                   throw new UndeclaredThrowableException(e);
              } catch (NoSuchMethodException e) {
                   throw new UndeclaredThrowableException(e);
              } catch (Throwable e) {
                   throw new UndeclaredThrowableException(e);
              return result;
         public void bind(String name, Remote remoteObj) throws RemoteException, AlreadyBoundException, AccessException {
         public void unbind(String name) throws RemoteException, NotBoundException, AccessException {
         public void rebind(String name, Remote remoteObj) throws RemoteException, AccessException {
         public String[] list() throws RemoteException, AccessException {
    }I am new to Java programming, any help is appriciated.
    Regards
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie,
    Perhaps you might like this one:
    http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Communications/TransparentProxy
    it uses dynamic proxies to achieve complete RMI transparency.
    Something to consider, good luck.

  • Dynamic proxy invokes basic auth web service

    My dynamic proxy client works fine with any web service except the basic auth secured one.
    I know how to use stub client to work around this issue. But I haven't found a way to get around when dynamic proxy clients are used.
    Any idea is appricated. Thanks

    Paula-
    Given that you can work around this issue with the stub client,
    you should be able to work around the issue in the dynamic proxy client
    in the same way-
    I am interested that you say workaround the issue with the stub client.
    Is there a problem that you have noted?
    If you can let me know how you worked this issue with the stub,
    and what problems you have specifically had with the dynamic proxy client
    I will look at the issue to see if it a bug.
    Please let me know what environment you are working in, the version of jaxrpc 1.x,
    what container, jdk or jre and a sample client program that would help me understand
    the problem.
    Thanks,
    Kathy

  • Dynamic proxy on jwsdp 1.1 deserialization error

    Hi,
    I want to use a dynamic proxy to get information from an webservice.
    normal datatypes like String or integer works fine. But when I want to have an object back, I get an deserialization error. I use sdk 1.3.1_08 and the jwsdp 1.1
    Does the jwsdp 1.1 support to transfer objects with dynamic proxy?
    thx
    Matthias

    I must use the jwsdp 1.1 because our clients run on IBM-Webspehre the highest sdk wich is at the moment supported is sdk 1.3.1_08.
    But with the jwsdp and sdk 1.4.2 I became also an exception.
